Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Phosphonsäuredialkylestern der allgemeinen

In letztgenannten Formeln haben die Symbole R1
und R2 die oben angegebene Bedeutung.
Geeignete Dialkylphosphite sind beispielsweise Dimethyl-, Diäthyl-, Methyl-isopropyl-, Methyl-butyl-
und Methyl-(/^chloräthyl)-phosphit.
Der weiterhin als Ausgangsmaterial für das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren benötigte Monofluordichloracetaldehyd
(Kp. 56 bis 57° C) ist aus der Literatur bekannt. Die Verbindung kann nach der üblichen
Methode durch Reduktion von Monofluordichloressigsäure, z. B. mittels Lithiumaluminiumhydrid, gewonnen
werden.
Man führt die Reaktion zweckmäßigerweise in Gegenwart eines inerten organischen Lösungsmittels,
wie Benzol, Chlorbenzol oder Dioxan, durch und setzt Verfahren zur Herstellung von
Phosphonsäuredialkylestern

in der R1 und R2 gleiche oder verschiedene, gegebenen- »ο
falls halogensubstituierte Alkylreste, vorzugsweise mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, bedeuten.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Monofluordichloracetaldehyd
in an sich bekannter Weise mit Dialkylphosphiten der allgemeinen Formel

den Monofluordichloracetaldehyd mit dem betreffenden Ο,Ο-Dialkylphosphit in äquimolaren Mengen,
bevorzugt bei Temperaturen von 20 bis 5O0C, um.
Nach Abdampfen des Lösungsmittels hinterbleibt das Reaktionsprodukt meist in Form eines nicht destillierbaren
farblosen Öles.
Die erfindungsgemäß herstellbaren Verbindungen zeichnen sich durch hervorragende pestizide, insbesondere Insektizide Eigenschaften aus. Sie besitzen etwa die gleiche Wirksamkeit wie die in der USA.-Patentschrift 2 485 578 und der französischen Patentschrift 1 083 273 beschriebenen <x-Hydroxy-/?,ß,ß-trichlor-
Die erfindungsgemäß herstellbaren Verbindungen zeichnen sich durch hervorragende pestizide, insbesondere Insektizide Eigenschaften aus. Sie besitzen etwa die gleiche Wirksamkeit wie die in der USA.-Patentschrift 2 485 578 und der französischen Patentschrift 1 083 273 beschriebenen <x-Hydroxy-/?,ß,ß-trichlor-
äthylphosphonsäure-O,O-diarkylester. Überraschenderweise
sind sie sehr gut pflanzenverträglich. Diese überlegenen technisch wertvollen Eigenschaften der
verfahrensgemäßen Verbindungen gehen aus den nachfolgenden
Ergebnissen von Vergleichsversuchen hervoE.
Vergleichsversuche
Zwecks Herstellung einer Wirkstoffzubereitung vermischt man 1 Gewichtsteil der aktiven Substanz mit
3 Gewichtsteilen Aceton sowie 1 Gewichtsteil Emulgator und verdünnt das Konzentrat mit Wasser auf
die in der nachfolgenden Tabelle angegebene Konzentration.
Mit der so erhaltenen Zubereitung werden Tomaten, Kohl und Baumwollpflanzen bis zur Tropfnässe besprüht.
Die behandelten Pflanzen verbleiben dann unter den in der Tabelle angegebenen klimatischen
Bedingungen. Nach 8 Tagen erfolgt die Versuchsauswertung durch Bestimmung des Schädigungsgrades.
Dabei bedeutet
O = gesunde Pflanzen,
5 = eine 100%ige Schädigung.

Auf Grund ihrer hervorragenden Insektiziden Wirkung und ausgezeichneten Pflanzenverträglichkeit
finden die Verfahrensprodukte als Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel vor allem im Pflanzenschutz Verwendung.
Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Erfindung näher.

Eine Lösung von 13 g Monofluordichloracetaldehyd in 100 ml Benzol wird bei 22° C mit 11 g Dimethylphosphit
versetzt. Während der Zugabe steigt die Temperatur der Mischung geringfügig an. Anschließend
erhitzt man das Reaktionsgemisch kurze Zeit zum Sieden und engt es dann unter vermindertem
Druck ein. Es hinterbleiben 22 g oc-Hydroxy-/?-fluor-
^,/8-dichloräthylphosphonsäuredimethylester in Form
eines farblosen Öles.

Zu einer Lösung von 7 g O-Methyl-0-isopropylphosphit
in 50 ml Benzol tropft man 6,5 g Monofluordichloracetaldehyd, erhitzt die Lösung anschließend
noch kurze Zeit zum Sieden und engt sie dann unter P 11,45%;

Claims (1)
- Patentanspruch:Verfahren zur Herstellung von Phosphonsäuredialkylestern, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Monofluordichloracetaldehyd in an sich bekannter Weise mit Dialkylphosphiten der allgemeinen FormelR1O,:p—ohin der R1 und R2 gleiche oder verschiedene, gegebenenfalls halogensubstituierte Alkylreste, vorzugsweise mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, bedeuten, zu a-Hydroxy-zS-fluor-zS^-dichlorathylphosphonsäure-dialkylestern der allgemeinen FormelR1O,R2O'P — CH- CFCl2O OHin welcher R1 und R2 die oben angegebene Bedeutung besitzen, umsetzt.In Betracht gezogene Druckschriften:
