Description

Air duct in front of the roof opening on a motor vehicle, in particular Passenger car The invention relates to a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car, with a closed structure, the roof of which can be opened completely or partially can, and with a duct that allows the air to jump over an opening in the roof Current granted. In known motor vehicles of this type is to form the guide channel for the air, a narrow guide surface is movably arranged above the front edge of the roof. This guide surface requires a cumbersome adjustment device, which the arrangement of the guide channel increases in price. In addition, the guide channel loses in the known arrangement a substantial part of its effect by the fact that its blow-out does not lies directly in front of the roof opening.

The invention is based on the object of this in known designs to eliminate existing defects and at the same time with a structurally simple structure to achieve an effective and satisfactory air flow.

This object is achieved with the invention in that the to The fixed front roof part adjacent to the windshield is designed as an air duct is, the outlet of which is immediately in front of the roof opening.

The invention has the advantage that the attachment of the air duct requires no significant additional costs and the wind with the roof open and any size of the roof opening is reliably passed over this opening and no annoying eddies generated inside the car body.

To increase the distracting effect of the guide channel on the driving wind, the blow-out opening of the guide channel can advantageously be designed so that the direction the air flowing out of the duct intersects the air flowing around it. In order to the airflow can only flow through the duct when the roof is open the same can be expediently closed by the movable part of the roof. In the end a damming effect can thereby advantageously be achieved in the guide channel, that the cross-section of the guide channel decreases after the blow-out port.

The drawing illustrates the invention in two examples schematically illustrated embodiments of the subject matter of the same, namely Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the front part of the car body of a Passenger car well-known version with sliding roof, Figure 2 the same longitudinal section in a motor vehicle designed according to the invention and FIG. 3 shows a further embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, also in a longitudinal section. As can be seen from FIG is, the driving wind hits the windshield 1 of the car body and flows then around the front fixed part 2 of the car body. With the sunroof open 3 the driving wind flows through the opening into the interior of the car body and creates strong eddies here, which are uncomfortably noticeable.

According to the invention, the fixed front roof part 2 is used as a guide channel 4 formed, which extends over the entire width of the roof and designed so is that its cross-section decreases to something after the blow-out port 5. By the air flowing off the windshield 1 is detected and passed through this channel 4 the dynamic pressure passed through the opening in the roof.

In the embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown in FIG the guide channel 4 is designed so that its blow-out opening 5 is directed obliquely upwards is. So that this mouth 5 is closed by the sliding roof 3 when the roof is closed is, a protruding end strip 6 is attached to this.
