Abstract

Παρέχεται μια μέθοδος εκτίμησης της ποσότητας ενός μεθυλιωμένου τόπου. Σε ορισμένες υλοποιήσεις η μέθοδος περιλαμβάνει: πέψη ενός δείγματος νουκλεϊκού οξέος που περιέχει τόσο μη μεθυλιωμένα όσο και μεθυλιωμένα αντίγραφα γονιδιωματικού τόπου με ένα μέλος οικογένειας MspJI για να παραχθεί ένας πληθυσμός θραυσμάτων που κυμαίνονται από 20-40 νουκλεοτίδια σε μήκος, ομοιοπολική σύνδεση αλληλουχίας προσαρμογέα Α και αλληλουχίας προσαρμογέα Β στα αντίστοιχα άκρα ενός θραύσματος στόχου της αλληλουχίας Χ και ποσοτικοποίηση της ποσότητας προϊόντων ομοιοπολικής σύνδεσης με τον τύπο ΑΧΒ.
