Abstract

Un método para microencapsular un material de núcleo quecomprende:a) mezclar un material de núcleo con un polímero de microencapsulación,b) suministrar a la mezcla un fluido supercrítico con capacidad para dilatar el polímero a una temperatura y una presión suficientes para mantener el fluido en estado supercrítico,c) permitir que el fluido supercrítico penetre y licúe el polímero, sin disolver el mismo, manteniendo al mismo tiempo la temperatura y la presión suficientes paa mantener el fluido en estado supercrítico, yd) liberar rápidamente la presión a fin de que el polímero solidifique alrededor del material de núcleo para formar una microcápsula,Un método para microencapsular materiales de núcleo termolábiles que comprende:a) mezclar un polímero microencapsulante con un fluido supercrítico con capacidad para dilatar el polímero, produciéndose la mezcla a presión y temperatura adecuadas para mantener el fluido en estado supercrítico y a una temperatura suficiente para licuar el polímero, y por lo cual el polímero se licúa pero no se disuelve,b) sobreenfriar el polímero licuado a una temperatura inferior a aquella en la cual el material de núcleo termolábil resulta adversamente afectado, manteniendo al mismo tiempo una temperatura y presión suficientes para mantener el fluido supercrítico en estado supercrítico,c) mezclar el material termolábil con el polímero licuado sobreenfriado mientras se mantienen una temperatura y presión suficientes para mantener el fluido supercrítico en estado supercrítico, d) liberar la presión para solidificar el polímero alrededor del material termolábil a fin de formar microcápsulas.
