Abstract

Un método para microencapsular un material de nucleo que comprende los pasos de a) mezclar un material de nucleo con un polímero microencapsulante enforma de partículas solidas o líquido; b) aplicar a la mezcla un fluido supercríticocon capacidad para dilatar el polímero en la mezcla a presion ytemperatura adecuadas para mantener el fluido en estado supercrítico; c) dejar que el fluido penetre y licue el polímero manteniendo al mismo tiempo, lapresion para solidificar elpolímero alrededor del material de nucleo a fin de formar una microcápsula. Este método requiere que ni los materiales de nucleoni el polímero sean solubles en el fluido supercrítico; solo se necesita que el fluido supercrítico sea soluble en elpolímero.
