Abstract

Un motor de combustión interna (E) para una motocicleta, montadoen una motocicleta (M) con un cigüeñal (15) extendiéndose en la dirección lateral, en el que un bloque de cilindro (222 ) se levanta sobre una superficie superior de un cárter (21) para contener dicho cigüeñal (15); una porción de carcasa de transmisión (95) para contener una transmisión (8) se ha previsto integralmente en una porción trasera de dicho cárter (21); y un sensor de velocidad del vehículo (105) está montado sobre una pared exterior de dicha porción de carcasa de transmisión (95), caracterizado porque: Un eje de entrada (96) y un eje de salida (97) de dicha transmisión (8) están dispuestos respectivamente en la parte delantera y trasera en dicha porción de carcasa de transmisión (95), y dicho sensor de velocidad del vehículo (105) para detectar como velocidad del vehículo la velocidad rotacional de dicho eje de salida (97) dispuesto hacia atrás de dicha porción de carcasa de transmisión (95) está montado en la pared trasera de dicha porción de carcasa de transmisión (95).
