Abstract

Se proporciona un método para mejorar los rendimientos de aceite de palma, comprendiendo dicho método:i) mezclar una composición de enzimas que comprende actividad celulasa y actividad mananasa con una suspensión; ii) incubar la mezcla durante 1 a 20 horas a una temperatura entre 50 y 95ºC; y iii) separar el aceite de otros componentes de la mezcla. Las reivindicaciones también se refieren a una fase de aceite de palma, una fase de suspensión o una fase acuosa que puede obtenerse por el método. Las reivindicaciones también se refieren a un método para producir un producto de fermentación, que comprende fermentar una materia prima que comprende dicha fase acuosa y recuperar dicho producto de fermentación, tal como un alcohol, un biocombustible, un ácido orgánico, un antibiótico, un antimicrobiano, un bioinsecticida, un disolvente y un polihidroxialcanoato.
