Abstract

Предложен способ выделения левулиновой кислоты из продукта гидролиза биомассы, причем указанный способ включает экстракцию с использованием в качестве органического растворителя замещенного бензола, включающего: i) по меньшей мере одну группу OR, где Rимеет значение Н или СН, и ii) по меньшей мере одну группу Cалкил, где по меньшей мере одна группа ORнаходится в орто-положении к по меньшей мере одной группе Cалкил. Использование указанного замещенного бензола в качестве растворителя для экстракции приводит к хорошей эффективности экстракции, и экстракция может быть выгодным образом выполнена при повышенной температуре и хорошо совместима с последующими стадиями перегонки.
