Abstract

一种车辆外置后视镜,其镜面是由多个不同曲率 半径的曲面圆滑连接而成的凸镜,整个镜子的各纵向 断面上曲率半径从上至下逐渐减小,且从内侧到外侧 这种纵向断面曲率半径的减小率逐渐加大;整个镜子 的各横向断面从内侧到外侧曲率半径逐渐减小,而且 从上至下这种横向断面上曲率半径的减小率是逐渐 加大的。由于镜面具有以上的特点,司机不但能通过 该镜监视后侧方中远距离的车辆,而且对车侧有很宽 的视野,无盲区。

Description

本实用新型属于车辆光学观察装置领域。
本人于1990年5月26日申请的90206894.6号实用新型专利涉及一种车辆外置后视镜,它的镜面是由多个不同曲率半径的面圆滑连接而成的凸镜,从上至下曲率半径越来越小,上半部镜面曲率半径很大(甚至为平面),下半部镜面的曲率半径不但从上至下越来越小,而且从一侧到另一侧也是越来越小。由于其上半部镜面仅仅是从上至下曲率半径越来越小,这种减小率从一侧到另一侧不变,而且从一侧到另一侧曲率半径是不变化的,因而,使用中发现,这种镜子对于车侧较高区域的视野还不够宽。
本实用新型的目的是,对前述已有的车辆外置后视镜作出改进,使其依靠镜面本身的结构特点就可以不仅在车侧较低区域,而且在车侧较高区域均获得视野宽的效果,同时,对于车侧后较远区域的物体仍能在镜中获得较高的影像清晰度。
本实用新型所提供的车辆外置后视镜,其镜面是由多个不同曲率半径的曲面圆滑连接而成的凸镜,以其安装在车上后的方面来看,整个镜子的各个纵向断面上部具有大曲率半径,从上至下曲率半径逐渐减小,其特征在于:从靠近车身的内侧到远离车身的外侧这种纵向曲率半径的减小率逐渐加大,从整个镜子的各个横向断面来看,靠近车身的内侧具有大曲率半径,从内侧到外侧曲率半径逐渐减小,而且,这种横向断面上的曲率半径减小率从上至下是逐渐加大的。
为了便于驾驶员从镜中判断后车离本车的大致距离,从而判断可否进行变道操作,可以采取的办法之一是,利用随着后车与本车距离的缩短,其在镜中的影像从镜子上部移向下部的道理,在经实测确定的镜面上、中、下三区涂以不同的色调,来划分显示后车与本车大致距离以指导司机进行变道操作的安全区、警告区和禁止区。可以采取的办法之二是,在镜框上以不同颜色或两道标线来划分以上三个区域。
对于大型轿车,卡车或其它车身较高的车辆,应将本实用新型的后视镜竖置安装,对于小轿车等车身较低的车辆,应将本实用新型的后视镜横置安装。由于镜面上部具有大曲率半径,当后侧车离本车距离较远时,其影像较清晰地呈现在后视镜的上部(即前述的安全区)。随着后车与本车距离的缩短,它在镜中的影像随之下移,即从前述的安全区逐渐移至警告区、禁止区。由于整个镜面的横向曲率半径从靠近车身的内侧到远离车身的外侧是逐渐减小的,所以与已有后视镜相比,驾驶员对车侧较高区域的视野加宽了。由于镜子下部既有从上至下曲率半径逐渐减小的特点,又有从内至外曲率半径逐渐减小的特点,因而对于车侧较低区域驾驶员也能观察得很宽,不存在盲区。
下面结合附图对本实用新型的车辆外置后视镜的一个实施例进行详细的、形象的说明,各附图是:

从图3可以看出,整个镜子的各个纵向断面上部具有大曲率半径,从上至下曲率半径逐渐减小,从内侧(图1中的左侧)到外侧(图1中的右侧)这种从上至下曲率半径的减小率逐渐加大。
从图4可以看出,整个镜子的各个横向断面的内侧具有大曲率半径,各个横向断面上从内侧到外侧曲率半径逐渐减小,而且这种横向断面上的曲率半径减小率从上至下是逐渐加大的。
从图7可以看出,由于这种后视镜的纵向断面上部具有大曲率半径,故能较清晰地获得车侧后较远距离物体的影像,如视线1-1所示。又由于纵向断面下部曲率半径小,故可以获得车侧前区域物体的影像,不存在盲区。
从图8可以看出,由于这种后视镜从上至下的各横断面上,均是从内至外曲率半径逐渐减小,因而司机通过该镜既能在一定的高度上看到车侧近车区域,也能在一定的高度上看到离车较远的侧面。

Claims (1)

1、一种车辆外置后视镜,其镜面是由多个不同曲率半径的曲面圆滑连接而成的凸镜,以其安装在车上后的方向来看,整个镜子的各个纵向断面上部具有大曲率半径,从上至下曲率半径逐渐减小,其特征在于:从靠近车身的内侧到远离车身的外侧这种纵向曲率半径的减小率逐渐加大,而且,从整个镜子的各个横向断面看,靠近车身的内侧具有大曲率半径,从内侧到外侧曲率半径逐渐减小,这种横向断面上的曲率半径减小率从上至下是逐渐加大的。
