Abstract

本实用新型关于一种电连接器,用以电性连接晶片模组和印刷电路板。其包括:设有端子收容槽的绝缘本体及收容于端子收容槽内的若干导电端子。端子收容槽上部的横截面积大于下部的横截面积。导电端子包括腰部以及分别自腰部两端向外延伸的弹性臂和焊接部。焊接部大致呈“L”状,在其靠近腰部处设有自焊接部外侧凸出的凸块,与焊接部上的凸块相对应的端子收容槽的侧壁上设有凹槽。导电端子部分收容于凹槽之中,使用时,导电端子能在端子收容槽中上下移动且不会脱落出来。

【技术领域】
本实用新型关于一种电连接器,尤其是指电性连接晶片模组与印刷电路板的电连接器。
【背景技术】
电连接器被广泛地应用于各种电子设备中,用于在两个分离的电子元件(如,晶片模组和印刷电路板)之间提供电性导通路径。
传统的电连接器一般包括设有若干端子收容槽的绝缘本体以及干涉固持于上述端子收容槽内的若干导电端子。随着科技的发展,电连接器导电端子的尺寸要求越来越小型化,为此,一种新型的无倒刺的导电端子应运而生,该导电端子不仅可以满足日趋小型化的要求,并且由于没有设置倒刺,该电连接器导电端子亦无需与绝缘本体发生干涉作用,因此可以降低导电端子与绝缘本体发生干涉配合时致使绝缘本体断裂现象的发生。
然而,上述电连接器导电端子因为没有倒刺,这就导致导电端子从端子收容槽中脱落的现象极易发生。为此,现有技术提供了一种电连接器,其包括:绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体中的若干导电端子,以及置于绝缘本体上的盖片。导电端子包括沿竖直方向延伸的固持部以及分别自固持部两侧倾斜延伸的弹性臂和焊接部。弹性臂上设有弯曲的第一接触部以与晶片模组导接,焊接部上设有与印刷电路板导接的第二接触部。组装时,将导电端子置于绝缘本体的收容空间内,盖片置于绝缘本体上,使导电端子的第一接触部延伸出盖片以导接于晶片模组。
但是,上述电连接器亦存在自身缺陷:盖片的设置使电连接器结构复杂,增加了组装程序,同时也增加了操作人员工作时的劳动强度,且对于日后尺寸更小的电连接器而言,盖片的设计将更复杂。
鉴于以上弊端,确有必要设计一种改良的电连接器,以克服现有技术中的不足。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种可以防止导电端子从绝缘本体中脱落且结构简单的电连接器。
为此,本实用新型提供了一种电性连接晶片模组与印刷电路板的电连接器,其包括:设有端子收容槽的绝缘本体及收容于端子收容槽内的若干导电端子。端子收容槽上部的横截面积大于下部的横截面积。导电端子包括腰部以及分别自腰部两端向外延伸的弹性臂和焊接部。焊接部大致呈“L”状,在其靠近腰部处设有自焊接部外侧凸出的凸块,与焊接部上的凸块相对应的端子收容槽的侧壁上设有凹槽。
相对于现有技术,本实用新型电连接器导电端子的焊接部与腰部交界处刚好收容于端子收容槽侧壁上的凹槽之中,同时,焊接部上的凸块抵接于凹槽两侧,这样可以保证电连接器不会从端子收容槽的上部脱落。又由于端子收容槽上部的横截面积大于下部的横接面积,导电端子自端子收容槽下部开口进入,进入时发生弹性压缩了的导电端子移动至上部后会因空间变大而撑开,因此,导电端子也不容易从端子收容槽的下部脱落。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1、图2,本实用新型电连接器1用于电性连接两个分离的电子元件,如:晶片模组(未图示)和印刷电路板(未图示)。其包括:设有若干端子收容槽102的绝缘本体10及收容于上述相应端子收容槽102中的导电端子20。
绝缘本体10包括与晶片模组相对的上表面100、与印刷电路板相对的下表面101,以及贯穿于上表面100和下表面101的端子收容槽102。端子收容槽102上部的横截面积大于下部的横截面积,且其一侧壁呈光滑的平面,与之相对的另一侧壁上设有凹槽103。
导电端子20收容于端子收容槽102中,其包括腰部200以及分别自腰部200两端向外延伸的弹性臂201和焊接部202。弹性臂201大致呈“U”形,其包括第一臂部2010和平行于第一臂部2010的第二臂部2011,其中上述第一臂部2010和第二臂部2011于其“U”形底部设有与晶片模组电性接触的接触部2012。焊接部202大致呈“L”状,在其靠近腰部200处设有自焊接部202外侧凸出的凸块2021。组装后,导电端子20的焊接部202与腰部200交界处刚好容入端子收容槽102侧壁上的凹槽103之中,且焊接部202上的凸块2021抵接于凹槽两侧。另外,焊接部202的底部上设有至少两个与印刷电路板同一个焊点2焊接的焊接点2020。
安装导电端子20于端子收容槽102中时,将导电端子20的弹性臂201的“U”形结构底部沿端子收容槽102设有凹槽103的一端装入,由于端子收容槽102下部的开口横截面积较小导致“U”形结构底部被压缩,继续将导电端子20推入进端子收容槽102中,随着推入的进行,端子收容槽102上部的横截面积不断增大,故导电端子20的“U”形结构底部因空间变大而撑开,直至焊接部202上的凸块2021抵接于凹槽103两侧时,导电端子20再也不会向上移动,此时,“U”形结构部张开达到最大。这样导电端子20既能向上或下作动来完成讯号传送,同时还可以将此浮动导电端子20更好的限位于端子收容槽102中。

Claims (7)

1.一种电连接器,可用于电性连接晶片模组与印刷电路板,其包括设有端子收容槽的绝缘本体及容置于相应端子收容槽内的若干导电端子,导电端子包括腰部及分别自腰部两端向外延伸的弹性臂和焊接部,其特征在于:所述端子收容槽上部的横截面积大于下部的横截面积,所述导电端子上设有凸块,该凸块抵接于端子收容槽一侧壁的突出物上,使导电端子只能在有限的范围内移动且不能脱落出绝缘本体。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凸块设置在导电端子腰部与焊接部交界处。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述突出物自端子收容槽一侧壁的两侧凸设且其中间形成凹槽。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子的腰部与焊接部收容于凹槽之中,凸块抵接于凹槽的两侧。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子弹性臂大致呈“U”形,其包括第一臂部及与第一臂部平行设置的第二臂部。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一臂部和第二臂部于其“U”形底部处设有与晶片模组导接的接触部。
7.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述焊接部包括至少两个与印刷电路板同一个焊点焊接的焊接点。
