Abstract
本发明是关于一种滚圆方法,包括以下步骤:将多片工件黏接为一柱状体,该柱状体具有一中心轴,其可绕该中心轴旋转;提供一研磨砂轮,该研磨砂轮具有一旋转轴,该旋转轴与所述柱状体的中心轴相垂直,该研磨砂轮可绕该旋转轴旋转;旋转由工件构成的柱状体及研磨砂轮;保持旋转轴与中心轴的垂直距离不变,沿所述中心轴的方向移动研磨砂轮,将所述柱状体研磨为圆柱体。
Description
【技术领域】
本发明是关于一种滚圆方法,用于非圆形工件的滚圆。
【背景技术】
光学行业中,通常将光学工件制成圆形,例如数码相机的红外截止滤光片(Infrared cutting filter)等。然而工业方法最初切割成型的工件,一般为方形,故此需要对方形工件进行滚圆处理,使其具有圆形边缘以满足光学应用。
外圆磨床是一种用以将各种形状的工件加工为圆形的机器,其工作原理为利用高速旋转的砂轮磨削由磨床固定装置固定的工件,以将其加工为所需大小的圆形。一般磨床固定装置是一对中空夹具,首先利用抽气泵对夹具中空部分吸气而将工件吸附于其中一夹具上,然后再将另一夹具靠近而将工件夹持固定住,再利用砂轮研磨。该夹具可广泛用于一般形状工件的滚圆或磨圆过程中,然而该夹具一次仅能固定一个工件,因而一次只能研磨一个,产能太低。
因此出现了一次研磨多片工件的方法。如图1所示,通过胶水(如紫外胶)将待滚圆的工件5黏着为一体,然后通过研磨砂轮4对工件5进行研磨。研磨时,研磨砂轮4的主轴旋转与工件5排列延伸方向平行,此时,砂轮5具有两个研磨进给方向:X方向及Z方向,且于X方向要进行多次进给方可加工成所需的产品。
然而采用此滚圆方法时,砂轮4与工件5的接触面积极小,仅当砂轮4转至与工件5接触时才具有研磨切削作用。因此,研磨时需要在X方向多次进给,直至达到所需的圆形,而多次进给必然会必然会延长滚圆时间,进而影响滚圆工件的成本。
【发明内容】
鉴于上述状况,有必要提供一种效率较高、滚圆时间较短的滚圆方法。
一种滚圆方法,包括以下步骤:
将多片工件黏接为一柱状体,该柱状体具有一中心轴,其可绕该中心轴旋转;
提供一研磨砂轮,该研磨砂轮具有一旋转轴,该旋转轴与所述柱状体的中心轴相垂直,该研磨砂轮可绕该旋转轴旋转;
旋转由工件构成的柱状体及研磨砂轮;
保持旋转轴与中心轴的垂直距离不变,沿所述中心轴的方向移动研磨砂轮,将所述柱状体研磨为圆柱体。
相较现有技术,所述滚圆方法通过控制砂轮位置于工件所需的外径尺寸处,采用一次滚圆制程即可完成滚圆,节省了滚圆时间,从而降低了滚圆成本。

【具体实施方式】
本发明的滚圆方法适用于对非圆形工件进行滚圆,尤其是用于对方形的光学镜片进行滚圆,如红外截止滤光片(Infrared-cutting filter)、紫外截止滤光片(Ultraviolet-cutting filter)等。
请参阅图2,本发明较佳实施例的滚圆方法所使用的滚圆设备包括一研磨砂轮10、两夹持机构12及一旋转机构14。
研磨砂轮10是呈圆柱形,其具有一旋转轴102,该研磨砂轮10绕其旋转轴102旋转,该旋转轴102具有一轴线100。该研磨砂轮10可于一驱动机构的驱动下旋转,该驱动机构可为驱动马达。
两夹持机构12用于夹持并固定待滚圆的工件18,旋转机构14用于驱动夹持机构12旋转,从而带动夹持机构12上的工件18旋转。
请同时参照图2,本发明较佳实施例的滚圆方法包括以下具体步骤:
将多片方形工件18整齐放置后,淋上胶水(如紫外胶),使该多片方形工件18黏着为一柱状体,将该柱状体紧密固定于夹持机构12上,该柱状体具有一中心轴181;
设定研磨砂轮10的位置,使得该旋转轴102的轴线100与工件18的中心轴181相互垂直,且使所述轴线100与中心轴181的垂直距离L等于研磨砂轮半径与欲得到圆形工件半径之和;
启动旋转机构14,通过该旋转机构14驱动由工件18黏着的柱状体绕其中心轴181旋转;
启动研磨砂轮10的驱动马达,使其驱动研磨砂轮10绕其旋转轴102旋转,保持该轴线100与中心轴181的垂直距离不变,沿与中心轴181相平行的方向移动该研磨砂轮10,使得该研磨砂轮10将方形工件18研磨为圆形;
从夹持机构12上将工件18分离,置于清水中,通过超声波处理将紫外胶溶解,从而得到多个圆形的工件18。
Claims (10)
1.一种滚圆方法,用于对工件进行滚圆,其特征在于:该方法包括以下步骤:
将多片工件黏接为一柱状体,该柱状体具有一中心轴,其可绕该中心轴旋转;
提供一研磨砂轮,该研磨砂轮具有一旋转轴,该旋转轴与所述柱状体的中心轴相垂直,该研磨砂轮可绕该旋转轴旋转;
旋转由工件构成的柱状体及研磨砂轮;
保持旋转轴与中心轴的垂直距离不变,沿所述中心轴的方向移动研磨砂轮,将所述柱状体研磨为圆柱体。
2.如权利要求1所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述工件是方形工件。
3.如权利要求1所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述工件通过胶水黏接为柱状体。
4.如权利要求3所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述胶水是紫外胶。
5.如权利要求1所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述研磨砂轮是呈圆柱形。
6.如权利要求5所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述研磨砂轮具有一半径。
7.如权利要求6所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述旋转轴与中心轴的垂直距离等于研磨砂轮的半径与最终研磨的圆柱体的半径之和。
8.如权利要求1所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述研磨砂轮通过一驱动机构驱动其旋转。
9.如权利要求8所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述驱动机构是驱动马达。
10.如权利要求1所述的滚圆方法,其特征在于:所述工件构成的柱状体是通过两夹持机构夹持固定,该夹持机构连接有一旋转机构驱动其旋转。
