技术领域
本发明涉及汽车用安全气囊组件。
背景技术
驾驶者一侧的安全气囊组件典型地安装在汽车的方向盘上。该组件固定在方向盘的中心并可以包括安全气囊、方向盘盖和充气器。众所周知,各元件支承在方向盘上。
为容纳气囊的位置,喇叭开关经常放置在方向盘的幅条上。这一具体设计的缺点是喇叭开关与方向盘一起旋转。有一种设计通过在气囊组件内综合喇叭机构而克服这一缺点。这样类型的喇叭,称作“浮动喇叭”,通过在方向盘组件中的弹簧组件上设置浮动气囊组件而形成。喇叭开关放置在气囊组件和方向盘底座之间。为致动喇叭,整个组件向方向盘中心移动,从而激活喇叭开关和致动喇叭。这样的喇叭开关设计是昂贵的并且需要在组件和方向盘之间有显著的空隙以便使组件可以浮动。
另一种形式的喇叭开关设计在方向盘盖子的内表面或背面安装柔性的薄膜开关。该薄膜开关放在盖子和折叠的气囊之间。薄膜开关传统上包括两层非常薄的非导电薄片,具有用薄隔片隔开的导电涂层。开关上的压力移动导电表面闭合电路而致动喇叭。
薄膜开关是昂贵的并且其安装非常耗费工时。此外,这些开关易于造成疏忽的动作,而造成喇叭在不希望的时候鸣放。具体地说,当气囊不适当地折叠时,由于不良的折叠而在薄模上承受压力,从而导致疏忽的喇叭动作。在其它情况中,极热或极冷的温度能够造成盖子膨胀或收缩,导致喇叭动作。
因此存在一种需要,即要求气囊组件包括能够避免上述缺点的喇叭开关机构。
发明内容
本发明包括气囊组件。气囊组件具有气囊和带有可撕裂接缝的气囊盖子。在气囊和盖子之间装有衬背板。喇叭开关支承在衬背板和盖子之间,它坐落在凹穴内,该凹穴有助于保护喇叭开关免于被气囊折叠所造成的疏忽所促动。可以在喇叭开关和盖子之间采用接触板。接触板可以大于喇叭开关,从而建立较大的接触表面面积致动喇叭开关。接触板可以具有伸入衬背板凹穴的指形件,以便协助致动喇叭开关。接触板还可以装在衬背板上。
喇叭开关可以包两个电气触点,其中一个装在衬背板上。弹簧偏压一个电气接触点离开另一个触点,并且也可用作偏压接触板离开衬背板。电气接触点中的一个可以用作弹簧。
盖子具有两个侧面,其中一个具有与接触板接触的突出部以便改进喇叭的动作。盖子还可以包括两部分,即从可撕裂的接缝区分,其中衬背板装在一个撕开部分上。如此,衬背板不会在安全气囊的展开中射出。本发明可以采用廉价的机械喇叭作为安全气囊组件的零件。疏忽的喇叭动作由于喇叭开关设置在衬背板内保护性凹穴而极大地减少,这进一步保护喇叭开关免受气囊折叠的影响。如此,本发明免去薄膜开关的花费并且使开关与气囊的折叠隔离。此外,气囊组件比较“浮动喇叭”设计占用较少的空间。

具体的实施方式
如图1A及1B所示,本发明的安全气囊组件10包括设置在壳体17内充气器16上的气囊14。盖子18具有可撕开接缝以便一旦充气器致动后容许气囊朝箭头A所指方向移动。这些特征是众所周知的。
与已知组件成对比,安全气囊组件10具有安装在盖子18上的衬背板46。如图1B所示,衬背板46与盖子18隔开以便容许喇叭开关50放置在盖子18和衬背板46之间。喇叭开关50可以包括第一电气触点54和第二电气触点58。第一电气触点54与第二电气触点58隔开。沿箭头B致动喇叭开关50促使第一电气触点54接触第二电气触点58,从而形成喇叭电路(示意地显示)并造成喇叭61发声。
如图3和图1B所示,喇叭开关50装在衬背板46上的凹穴66中。凹穴66可以是空洞、凹陷或衬背46板上的其它造型,其尺寸足以容纳喇叭开关。因为喇叭开关50设置在衬背板46的凹穴66中,喇叭开关50较少受到喇叭疏忽动作影响。衬背板46是刚硬的并把喇叭开关50与气囊14的折叠51隔开。此外,把喇叭开关50至少部分地处于凹穴66的保护性界限以内,进一步隔绝喇叭开关50的疏忽动作。此外,因为喇叭开关50包括电气触点而不是导电层,喇叭开关50与薄膜开关相比在隔离动作方面提供更大的阻力。显著地,第一电气触点54的形状如图1B所示形成弧形。这样的形状使第一电气触点54作为弹簧抵抗沿箭头B方向的喇叭开关50的动作。对于动作抵抗阻力的大小可以用已知的技术调整。
喇叭开关50具有预定尺寸、例如长度Y,如图1B所示。为增加喇叭动作的面积,在喇叭开关50和盖子18之间设置接触板70。接触板具有比喇叭开关50更大的尺寸,例如长度X,从而增加从驾驶者方面喇叭开关50动作面积。再说,盖子18具有第一侧面19和第二侧面21。第二侧面21具有突出部分30,当第一侧面19按箭头B压下时,它与接触板70接触,促使第一电气触点54与第二电气触点58接触。如图1B所示,作用如弹簧的第一电气触点保持接触板70被偏压离开衬背板46。
如图4所示,接触板70安装在衬背板46上。接触板可以紧密配合于衬背板46上,而喇叭开关50设置在两板之间。如图6所示,衬背板46可以,例如,通过热桩安装在盖子18上。
图5阐明盖子18的第一侧面19。盖子18具有设置在盖子上的可撕开接缝34。在气囊14展开时,盖子18沿接缝34撕裂成为两部分:第一部分38和第二部分42。衬背板46可以固定在第一部分38上,这样,当气囊14充气和接缝34撕裂时,使衬背板46、喇叭开关50和接触板70保留固定在第二部分42上。
Claims (9)
1.一种气囊组件,包括:
气囊(14);
盖子(18),具有用于气囊的可撕开接缝;
衬背板(46),处于气囊和盖子之间,该衬背板装在盖子上;
喇叭开关(50),处于衬背板和盖子之间;和
凹穴(66),处于衬背板中,至少部分地接纳喇叭开关。
2.如权利要求1所述的气囊组件,其特征在于,包括在喇叭开关(50)和盖子(18)之间的接触板(70)。
3.如权利要求2所述的气囊组件,其特征在于,喇叭开关(50)具有预定尺寸的动作面积,接触板(70)具有大于该预定尺寸的面积。
4.如权利要求2或3中之一所述的气囊组件,其特征在于,接触板(70)具有与喇叭开关(50)连通的延伸部分。
5.如权利要求1-4中任何一个所述的气囊组件,其特征在于,可撕开接缝限定第一撕开部分面积(38)和第二撕开部分面积(42),衬背板安装在撕开部分之一上。
6.如权利要求1-5中任何一个所述的气囊组件,其特征在于,喇叭开关(50)包括第一电气触点(54)和第二电气触点(58),至少电气触点之一安装在衬背板(46)上。
7.如权利要求6所述的气囊组件,其特征在于,包括偏压第一电气触点(54)从第二电气触点离开的弹簧。
8.如权利要求7所述的气囊组件,其特征在于,至少电气触点(54、58)之一包括该弹簧。
9.如权利要求1-8中任何一个所述的气囊组件,其特征在于,盖子包括第一侧面(19)和第二侧面(21),第二侧面具有与喇叭开关(50)连通的突出部分(30)。
