Abstract
一种燃料供给装置,沿着上壳体(3)和下壳体(13)的接合端面(3a、13a)设置相互对向的抵接肋(3b、13b),其处在空隙槽(3c、13c)之间,比接合端面(3a、13a)更低,采用熔融压接,以使双方抵接肋(3b、13b)抵接,从而由抵接肋(3b、13b)决定壳体温(11)的纵向尺寸。而且,热熔接完成时,使溢料(21)储存在由抵接肋(3b、13b)封闭的储存空间(22)。

技术领域
本发明涉及从燃料箱向内燃机等对燃料加压供给的燃料供给装置,尤其是防止利用树脂部件的熔接形成包含燃料流路的壳体时产生溢料的影响。
背景技术
图4、图5是国际公开号WO96/23967号公报公开的以往燃料供给装置图,图4是侧视图,图5俯视图、图6是形成壳体的热板熔接说明图,图7是图5中X-Y-Z剖视图。
图中1是燃料箱,2是燃料箱1的开口部。设置合成树脂制盖3,以遮住开口部2。密封用的密封垫圈4装在盖3与燃料箱1之间。
作为燃料供给系统的功能部件的燃料泵5、燃料过滤器6、增压器7、燃料液面计8、电气连接器 9、输出管10一体地组装在盖3上,形成组件化。
燃料过滤器6是壳体11内收容过滤元件12而构成的。而且,盖3作为壳体11的一部分,是从盖3吊挂着。壳体11由上壳体的盖3和下壳体13组成,下壳体13是合成树脂材料制成,盖3和下壳体13在交界部14全周被液密封熔接,内部空间设置过滤元件12。
在燃料过滤器6的壳体11内周侧上方设置有作为燃料进口的进料管15,与燃料泵5的输出管连接。
形成壳体11的二个燃料出口中的第1燃料出口的管道16(图4中用点划线表示),是从下壳体13的下端向上方延伸,与设置在盖3上的输出管10连通。
作为第2燃料出口的回流管18设置在下壳体13的下部并与增压器7连接。
与盖3一体成形的电气连接器8,在燃料箱1外部,与电源及控制装置(未图示)连接。而且,在燃料箱1内,通过未图示的导线与燃料泵5连接,向燃料泵5的电动机供电,并且,通过未图示的导线与燃料液面计8(见图8)连接,传输指示液面高度的电气信号。
下壳体13是由导电性合成树脂制成的,燃料通过过滤元件12时发生的静电通过电气连接器8放出。
这样构成的燃料供给装置,当通过电气连接器8向燃料泵5供电时,燃料泵5便通过过滤器19吸入燃料加压而送向壳体11内周侧上方的进料管15。
燃料在下壳体13和盖3之间的通路20中按箭头A方向流动。在燃料过滤器6内,燃料在壳体11中从上向下游动,在流过过滤元件12中过滤掉中尘埃等。
流过过滤元件12的燃料,从管道16通过输出管10供给于发动机燃料喷射装置的喷射器(未图示)。这时,用增压器7将流向喷射器的燃料供给压力调整成恒定,由于消耗量误差而将过剩的燃料经过增压器7再回流到燃料箱1内。
盖3与下壳体13在边界部14全周被液密封熔接构成,该熔接一般适用热板熔接。热板熔接如图6所示,用加热源的热板30将下壳体13与盖3的熔接端面加热到熔融温度,拿掉热板30,对双方熔接端面之间加压而使之热熔接。
热板熔接的熔接部截面如图7所示,熔融部分的端部受到加压被挤出,形成溢料21。由于接合端面的熔融状态、加压时的按压移动量不同,溢料21的大小、形状产生误差。因此,壳体11的纵向尺寸产生误差。流到相当于燃料流路的部位的溢料21使流路面积变狭,流路阻力增大,而且,燃料流的脉动成为溢料21变形应力,溢料21的薄弱部份有时发生疲劳破坏、脱落。在位于燃料过滤器的过滤元件12上游位置的熔接部的溢料21脱落时,被过滤元件12捕获,但在位于过滤元件12下游位置的熔接部的溢料21脱落时,可能产生因堵塞下游管道而发生的燃料供应不足或者可能发生堵塞设在下游的喷射器的喷嘴部而发生的发动机运转不正常的不良情况。
本发明是为解决所述问题而研究的,其目的是提供一种燃料供给装置,其在抑制热板熔接导致的壳体纵向尺寸误差的同时,使溢料不流到流路中,即使熔接部的溢料万一脱落时,也不会使溢料流出到流路中。
发明的详细说明
本发明的燃料供给装置是,在壳体内形成从燃料泵输出的燃料液的流路,合成树脂制成的上壳体与下壳体的接合端面,通过热熔接形成液密封的壳体,上壳体与下壳体分别设置比接合端面更低的互相相对的抵接肋,对接合端面熔融压接,形成热熔接,使双方的抵接肋抵接。
沿接合端面设置抵接肋,使之介于空隙槽之间,在热熔接完成时空隙槽形成被封闭的储存空间,使热熔接时挤压出的溢料残存在储存空间。
至少在过滤元件下游的流路设置由抵接肋形成的储存空间。

盖3及下壳体13由合成树脂材料制成。3a是形成壳体11上部的盖3的接合端面,3b是沿着接合端面3a设在比接合端面3a更低位置的抵接肋,3c是设在接合端面3a与抵接肋3b之间的空隙槽。13a是下壳体13的接合端面,下壳体13的接合端面13a与盖3的接合端面3a被熔接接合,成为边界部14。与边界部14垂直的壳体11的隔壁端面是接合端面3a,13a,通过将盖3与下壳体13在接合端面3a,13a进行熔接接合,形成液密封的壳体的壳体及流路。

盖3与下壳体13的热板熔接如图2所示,盖3的接合端面3a和下壳体13的接合端面13a之间插入是加热源的热板30,将双方接合端面加热到熔融温度,去掉加热板30,对接合端面相互之间加压熔接成液密封。这时,双方抵接肋3b、13b因处于比接合端面3a、13a更低的位置,没有达到熔融软化温度,所以,即使加压也不变形。
因此,抵接肋3b、13b在双方抵接后,边界部变形停止,所以壳体11完成的纵向尺寸稳定。
如图3所示,盖3与下壳体13熔接时,由双方空隙槽3c、13c形成储存空间22。这时,盖3和下壳体13的接合端面之间因加压变形发生的溢料21可积存在储存空间22内。从而,在有液流一侧形成储存空间22,可以防止溢料21挤出使流路面积变狭以及抑制液流脉动导致的溢料脱落,假定溢料21脱落,也留在储存空间22内,不会流出到下游,可以防止下游管道堵塞。
接合端面的周环设置空隙槽3c、13c及抵接肋3b、13b则最好,但该燃料供给装置的截面积变大,影响装置小型化。因此,也可在溢料21的无影响的部分分散配置热熔接后尺寸稳定的抵接肋3b、13b。仅在溢料脱落不影响燃料系统的部分形成储存空间22,其他部分作成与以往例子的熔接结构也可以,由于燃料泵5的驱动燃料液的供给动作与以往装置同样,故说明省略。
工业上利用的可能性
本发明如上说明那样,沿着盖3的接合端面3a和下壳体13的接合端面13a在比接合端面3a、接合端面13a更低的位置设置抵接肋3b、13b使之介于空隙槽3c、13c之间,故在对双方接合端面加热使接合端面相互间加压、熔接时,在抵接肋3b、13b抵接位置,接合端面变形停止,壳体11完成的纵向尺寸稳定。
熔接完成时在流路侧形成的空间22,可储存加压变形所发生的溢料21,防止流路面积狭隘化,抑制液流脉动导致的溢料21脱落,而脱落的溢料21储存在储存空间22内,防止下游管道堵塞。
Claims (3)
1.一种燃料供给装置,燃料泵及壳体一起一体地沉没在燃料箱内,所述燃料泵输送的燃料液的流路形成在所述壳体内,其特征在于,
所述壳体是,对合成树脂制成的上壳体和下壳体的接合端面用热熔接方式形成液密封,所述上壳体和下壳体分别设置比接合端面更低的互相相对的抵接肋,对接合端面熔融压接,形成热熔接,使双方抵接肋抵接。
2.如权利要求1所述的燃料供给装置,其特征是,沿接合端面设置抵接肋,使之介于空隙槽之间,在热熔接合完成时,由所述抵接肋封闭的空隙槽形成储存空间,使热熔接时挤出的溢料储存在所述储存空间内。
3.如权利要求2所述的燃料供给装置,其特征是,至少在相当于过滤元件下游的流路部分设置由抵接肋形成的储存空间。
