Description

本发明涉及在可闭合的塑料袋和包裹上使用的可闭合的拉链。更具体地说,本发明涉及一种在每一个齿形上带有可熔性肋膜的可闭合拉链。
用于将拉链密封到包裹材料上的、带有可熔性肋膜的可闭合拉链,在可闭合的包裹领域是众所周知的,例如这样的拉链可以在美国专利第4,673,383、5,216,787以及5,242,516号中找到。
这些可熔性肋膜提供了多种改进,例如,在美国专利第4,673,383中所揭示的,在将拉链密封到包裹材料的过程中,可熔性肋膜可以将传输到拉链和包裹材料的热量和压力减小到最小,同时可以使拉链和包裹的变形最小。此外,如美国专利第5,216,787和5,242,516号所揭示的,当可熔性肋膜是用与该包裹材料和拉链相容的材料制成时,该肋膜可以用于将拉链粘贴到与该拉链材料不相容的包裹上。
尽管许多现有的使用可熔性肋膜的拉链已经解决了常常难以实现的、在拉链和包裹材料之间均匀密封的问题,诸如,图1所示,是现有带肋膜24的常规拉链10的横断面视图,该拉链包括与凹齿14互锁的凸齿12,该凸齿12包括凸形互锁部件16和边缘18,该边缘18沿凸形互锁部件16的两侧横向延伸,用于将凸齿12密封到包裹材料(图中未示出)上。类似地,凹齿14包括可与凸形互锁部件16互锁的U形凹互锁部件20,以及在凹互锁部件20的两侧延伸的边缘20,用于将所述凹齿14密封到包裹材料上。
每一个内外边缘18和22包括:设置在与相应的互锁部件16和20相反方向上,在边缘表面26和28上的可熔性肋膜24,该可熔性肋膜是由与拉链10的支撑物相同的材料制成的。通过加热和压力,凸齿12和凹齿14在可熔性肋膜24处被密封到所述包裹材料上,即热量和压力致使可熔性肋膜24熔入在拉链边缘和包裹材料之间的粘接层,从而将齿12和14密封到包裹材料上。由于可熔性肋膜吸收了大部分的热量和压力,因而使拉链和包裹材料的变形最小。
尽管如此,由于在各可熔性肋膜24之间存在间隙30,致使借助可熔性肋膜24的熔合实现的粘接层,时常在拉链边缘18和22的宽度方向上是不均匀的。实际上,在边缘18和22的某些部分上可能没有完全密封到包裹材料上。这将导致在齿形12、14和包裹材料之间的密封性相对减弱。因而,密封要求相对高的温度,使该拉链不适于高速制造可闭合包裹的应用。
在制成拉链的材料与包裹材料是互不相容的情况下,该可熔性肋膜可以用与包裹和拉链相同的材料制成,例如密封胶。使用这种类型可熔性肋膜的现有常规拉链32示于图2中。
与图1中的拉链10一样,拉链32包括与凹齿36互锁的凸齿34,该凸齿34包括凸形互锁部件38和边缘40,该边缘40沿凸形互锁部件38的两侧横向延伸,用于将凸齿34密封到包裹材料上。类似地,凹齿36包括U-形凹互锁部件42和边缘44,该凹互锁部件42与凸形互锁部件38互锁,边缘44沿该凹互锁部件42的两侧延伸,用于将该凹齿36密封到所述包裹材料上。
该内、外边缘40、44的每一边,包括设置在与它们相应的互锁部件38、42的相反方向上,在其基体表面48和50上的可熔性肋46。所说的凸齿和凹齿34,36借助热压在可熔性肋46处被密封到包裹材料上,该热压的应用激活了包含在可熔性肋中的密封胶,致使所述可熔性肋46熔入到界于拉链边缘和包裹材料之间的粘接层中,从而将齿34和36密封到不相容的包裹材料上。再者,可熔性肋46使传输到拉链和包裹材料的热量和压力达到最小,同时使拉链和包裹的变形最小。
尽管如此,与图1所示的拉链10一样,由于在各可熔性肋46之间的间隙52处没有密封胶,导致了密封层的非均匀性,进而导致了在拉链与包裹材料之间密封效果的相对减弱。正如美国专利第5,216,787号所讲授的,那些没有密封胶的区域需要在较低的密封温度下得到充分密封。
诸如在美国专利第4,835,835号中所揭示的另一种常用于将可闭合的拉链密封到包裹材料上的技术,是平面形密封层的使用。图3示出了常规的利用这种密封层68的现有拉链54。
与图1和图2中的拉链10和32一样,该拉链54包括与凹齿58互锁联接的凸齿56,该凸齿56包括凸形互锁部件60和边缘62,该边缘62沿其凸形互锁部件60的两侧延伸,用于将该凸齿56密封到包裹材料上。类似地,凹齿58包括U-形凹互锁部件64和边缘66,该凹互锁部件64与凸形互锁部件60互锁,边缘66沿该凹互锁部件64的两侧延伸,用于将该凹齿58密封到所述包裹材料上。
该内、外边缘62和66的每一个边包括平面密封层68,该平面密封层68设置在与它们各自的互锁部件60、64相反的表面70、72上,该凸齿60和凹齿64借助热压在所述内、外边缘表面70和72处被密封到所述包裹材料上,在此热压激活了密封胶层68,从而将该拉链密封到所述包裹材料上。
尽管如此,不难看出,与使用可熔性肋拉链相比,这种密封层的使用,通常需要大量的热量和压力、作用更长的时间,才能完全激活该密封层并实现均匀密封,这可能导致齿形和包裹的明显变形。因而,当使用密封层时,特别是当它们相对较薄时,这些密封条趋向于使密封胶不均匀地分布,从而导致密封区域的不均匀和减弱,进而,这些需要更长密封时间的拉链不适于高速生产的应用。
虽然作为和可熔性肋以及密封胶层相关的现有技术,已经得到了很好的发展,但是仍存在有待改进之处。
因此,本发明的一个目的在于提供一种可闭合的拉链,该拉链具有新的、经改进的用于将拉链密封到包裹材料上的装置。本发明的另一个发明目的是提供一种可闭合的拉链,该拉链具有新的、经改进的用于将所述拉链密封到所述包裹材料上的装置,同时允许在拉链和包裹材料之间实现均匀密封。本发明的再一个发明目的是,提供一种新的、经改进的用于将拉链密封到所述包裹材料上的装置,它使由于密封过程引起的拉链和包裹的变形和/或损坏(达到)最小。本发明的再一个发明目的是,提供一种新的、经改进的用于将拉链密封到所述包裹材料上的装置,该装置可以在低温下、并且可以用于高速制造可闭合的包裹应用。从随后的讨论中,其它的发明目的可以变得更清晰。
本发明通过提供由两个互锁联接齿组成的可闭合拉链得以实现前述的发明目的。每一个齿包括基体和互锁部件,该互锁部件与从另一个基体上伸出的齿的互锁部件互锁联接。
每一个齿的基体是由与相对应的互锁部件相反方向的表面上的可熔性肋膜提供的,该可熔性肋膜是由密封胶形成的,并且由众多设置在齿基体宽度方向上、以及各肋膜之间密封胶的平坦部分处的可熔性肋组成。以这种方式,可以在拉链和包裹材料之间在低密封温度的条件下实现高速均匀密封,同时使在密封期间的拉链和包裹变形或损坏达到最小。

图4示出了按照本发明的一个优选实施方案的可闭合拉链74的横断面视图。
该拉链74带有与凹齿78互锁联接的凸齿76,该凸齿76包括从基体82上伸出的非对称形箭头互锁部件80。类似地,凹齿78包括从基体86上延伸出的与凸形互锁部件80互锁联接的U-形凹互锁部件84。该凸形互锁部件80通过提供非对称的箭头形,以使拉链74与另一侧相比,很难从拉链的一侧(例如,所述拉链的右侧)打开。
齿基体82和86从它们各自相应的互锁部件80和84上向两边延伸,以便形成边缘88,该边缘88有助于拉链74在包裹的自动制造过程中的进料和引导(例如,在成型密封机上),并且作为将齿密封到包裹材料上的密封点。然而边缘88的应用在本发明中并不是必须的。
每一个齿基体82和86是在连续的可熔性肋膜90上的表面91和93上提供的,该表面91和93在其各自互锁部件80和84的相反方向上,用于将拉链齿76、78密封到包裹材料上。
该可熔性拉链肋膜90是连续的,优选的是与拉链齿76、78一起挤压成型的,并且是由那些本领域的技术人员公知的、可能是众多商用密封胶中的一种构成的。该密封胶优选的是适于低温密封应用的那类。如果需要,该密封层可以用与包裹和拉链材料相容的热敏胶形成。
如图4所示,可熔性肋膜90包括以交替的峰(三角形的可熔性肋92)和谷(平坦部分94)的方式出现的单一的胶层。
图5示出了拉链齿76、78借助加热条98被密封到所述包裹材料96上。为了将拉链74密封到所述包裹材料96上,所述的加热条借助包裹材料与所述可熔性肋膜92的顶点100实行接触,从而将热量和压力作用到其上。接触点迅速从这一集中的起始点传播到可熔性肋膜的其它部分,激活了由密封胶组成的可熔性肋92,并导致可熔性肋92渐薄。因而当可熔性肋渐薄时,从加热条98传输到平坦部分94的热量和压力同样激活了包含在其中的密封层。
因而加热条98导致在可熔性肋92中的密封胶与在平坦部分94的密封胶熔合到一起,沿着拉链边缘88形成连续、均匀、平坦的密封胶粘合层102,借此使拉链齿76、78和包裹材料96之间的密封强度达到最大,如图6所示。
可熔性肋92保证借助加热条98作用的热量和压力不会使拉链74受损或变形,同时在各可熔性肋之间的平坦部分94确保了最终的密封粘合层102在全部平坦区域是均匀和连续的。
然而可熔性肋92可以采用任何几何形状,优选的是顶部比底部窄的形状,最优选的是三角形,如图4所示,这一三角形提供了比其它的几何形状(例如方形)更迅速以及更均匀的密封,因为加热条的接触点将迅速从集中在可熔性肋92顶点处100的起始接触点传播到完全平坦的区域102。同时由于如此迅速的作用,使在较低的密封温度下实现强劲、均匀的密封成为可能。
从而,以上述方式实现了本发明的上述发明目的,即,在拉链和包裹材料之间以较低的密封温度、以及较快的密封时间形成高强度的密封。对本领域的普通技术人员来说,在上述发明上进行的各种显而易见的修改,将不会超出本发明权利要求书所限定的范围。

Claims (6)

1.一种可闭合的拉链,包括:
第一齿形和第二齿形;
所述第一齿形包括基体;从所述基体向第二齿形伸出的互锁部件;以及在所述基体表面上,远离所述互锁部件的密封层;
所述第二齿形包括基体;从所述基体向第一齿形伸出的互锁部件;以及在所述基体表面上,远离所述互锁部件的密封层,该第一和第二互锁部件彼此联接;
每一个所述密封层包括诸多肋,毗邻的各肋之间由平坦部分分割开。
2.根据权利要求1所述的可闭合的拉链,其中所说的各密封层与所述齿形是一同挤压成型的。
3.根据权利要求1所述的可闭合的拉链,其中所述各肋的横断面为三角形。
4.根据权利要求1所述的可闭合的拉链,其中每一个所述的肋具有舌部和基体,所述舌部比基体窄。
5.根据权利要求1所述的可闭合的拉链,其中每一个所述齿形的基体至少沿其相应的互锁部件的一个方向横向延伸,从而形成至少一个边缘。
6.根据权利要求1所述的可闭合的拉链,其中所说的密封层是由热活性胶构成的。
