Description

连续揉合机
本发明涉及一种揉合机或混合机,其中,两个转子分别藏在一个室的两个腔中。
在此之前,作为用于揉合天然橡胶或合成橡胶或用于混合和揉合橡胶和不同类型的添加剂,以将它们均匀地分散到橡胶中的设备,或用于将各种热塑性弹胶体或高粘性液体与粉末材料或液态材料混合和揉合在一起的设备,或用于分散各种材料的设备,都以揉合机著称,其中,叶片状转子可旋转地被支承在密封的容器(室)中,而放入室中的揉合对象则循环地从转子的轴向移动至转子的径向。例如,在JP-A-24833(相当于美国专利No.8434543)中所公开的密封型揉合机中,具有沿同一方向延伸的螺旋角的螺旋形叶片各自在两个转子的轴的圆周上形成,而且这两个转子分别以不啮合的状态布置在以其侧面彼此连通的两个平行的圆柱形腔中。转子沿相反的方向旋转,揉合对象在腔的每一个中沿轴向移动并在腔之间交换。
图7是侧视图,它示出了在上述专利文件中所描述的转子,而图8~10则为示意图,它们示出了揉合对象在揉合机中的流动,在该揉合机中装有转子。一对转子1水平地布置在揉合机的室3的右面和左面的腔中,在其间有一定的距离,同时彼此保持平行的关系。转子1a的轴的颈部在室3的两侧被可旋转地支承,转子轴的端部以其一端通过一齿轮系统(未示出)与驱动电机相连。转子以同样的速度沿相反的方向旋转。这些转子1各自做有一长的叶片5和一短的叶片6,它们沿轴向以预定的螺旋角延伸。转子在机器中装配成移动一转过的相角,以使转子在旋转时不会彼此干涉,而且在此例子中,转子在机器中以90°的相角差装配就位。
在此例子中,左、右转子1的叶片的螺旋方向是相同的。因此,当转子1沿相反方向旋转时,如同图8和9中示意地所示,揉合对象在各自的腔2中沿轴向的移动成为反向的,以使揉合对象在腔中沿轴向的移动成为良好状态。此外,靠近两个腔2的端部,揉合对象沿轴向进行交换。
其中的左、右转子的叶片部分的螺旋方向是相同的而且转子是沿相反方向旋转的上述类型的揉合机可以改进揉合对象在室中沿轴向的移动性。不过,当进行所谓的连续操作,即在其中,揉合对象的原料连续地被供至室中,而产品又同时从室的排放出口被取出时,所得到的是一种所谓的短路的有害现象,此时,由于原料沿轴向的高移动性,进入室的材料供应入口的原料立即移至排放出口,不能沿径向(见图10)被均匀地混合,以致不能得到均匀地揉合的产品。因此,传统的揉合机只能进行批料处理,它们在生产率方面出现问题。
此外,在传统的揉合机中,由于左、右转子的叶片的螺旋方向是相同的,转子沿相反方向旋转,左、右转子的相的位置在旋转时沿轴向移动。因此,在室中,揉合对象在腔之间的交换量变化。在室沿轴向的长度短的情况下,相位移动只限于小的范围,它的影响可以忽略不计。不过,在室沿轴向的长度较长的情况下,即长度L与室的直径D之比L/D较大时,其影响不能忽略。
本发明的目的为提供一连续型揉合机,其特征为,揉合对象在室中沿轴向的移动量和揉合物在室中在腔之间的交换量保持成一平衡的状态,由此,可以进行揉合对象的连续处理。
本发明的另一目的为提供一连续型揉合机,其特征为,揉合对象沿室的径向的分散度,即揉合对象在具有一对腔的室的中间部分(腔之间的连通部分)和在室的两边的分散度可以在短时间内被均匀化。
按照本发明,提供一连续型揉合机,它包括一由一对平行的圆柱形腔形成的室和一对可旋转的转子,两个腔在其侧面彼此连通,转子以彼此不啮合的状态藏在腔中,其特征为,每个转子做成叶片形,叶片有一螺旋角并沿轴向有不变的横截面,转子在腔中的螺旋角的方向彼此相反,同时在转子旋转时,轴向的相位差保持不变。
图1是按照本发明的连续型揉合机的一个实施例的转子的正视图。
图2是一示意图,示出了揉合对象在按照本发明的揉合机的实施例中的流动。
图3是一示意图,示出了揉合对象从按照本发明的揉合机的实施例的入口至出口的流动。
图4是一透视剖视图,示出了作分散试验的按照本发明的密封型双轴混合机。

下面参考附图描述按照本发明的一个优选的实施例。
参看图1,一对具有被室3可旋转地支承的转子轴11的转子10藏在室3的一对腔2中。通过转子轴11的旋转,转子10沿相反方向旋转,更具体一些,它们如此旋转,以致它们的相向侧(内侧)从上向下旋转。如图1所示,每个转子10做有沿径向突出并越过其整个长度延伸的叶片10a、10b,而且这些叶片以不变的角度沿轴向螺旋形地扭曲。图1示出了其螺旋角为8.7°的转子。
每个转子10有这样的构形,其垂直于轴线的剖面形状沿轴向是相同的,而叶片10a、10b沿左、右转子10的轴向的螺旋角是彼此相反的。转子10在腔2中被布置成从轴向看去具有90°的相位差。如图所示,转子10的旋转半径R的长度接近室3的中心C。
采用这种结构以后,当在室3的上部的中心从入口12供应被揉合的材料并且左、右转子10沿相反方向旋转时,揉合对象沿转子10的轴向移动,并且沿同一方向被每个转子10的叶片10a、10b的进给作用移动(见图2)。
此时,左右转子10在旋转时的相位差沿轴向保持不变并在转子的任何横截面处均为90°,因此,沿轴向和沿径向的移动,即揉合对象在腔2之间的交换都同时进行。揉合对象在腔之间的交换沿轴向总是恒定的,并且如图3所示,揉合对象是螺旋形地移动的,以便从室的一端(入口12)至另一端(排放出口13)画出一螺旋形。适当地调节从排放出口13取出的揉合对象的量,揉合对象在室3中的流动就成为推流,它以不变的速度移动,同时保持轴向和径向的均匀性。即使材料连续地从入口12供应,也决不会产生以前曾经发生的短路并可从排放出口13取出良好的揉合好的对象。此外,考虑到保持轴向和径向移动的平衡,转子的螺旋角最好在5°~30°之内。
图4是一透视剖视图,示出了按照本发明的封闭型双轴揉合机在将锌白(ZnO)和合成橡胶(聚丁橡胶)分散和混合在一起的情况。橡胶试样和锌白从材料入口12被放入机器中,一对具有沿相反方向延伸的螺旋角的转子10在腔2中沿相反方向旋转。混合好的试样在室的中部和侧部从取样管15取出。锌白沿轴向的分散度按所经过的时间一起评估。图5是一曲线图,示出了按照本发明的混合物的分散试验结果,图6是一曲线图,示出了传统的混合机的分散试验结果,该传统的混合机采用了具有沿同一方向延伸的螺旋角的转子。在图中,空心圆标志示出在室的中心的分散度,三角形标志示出在室的边上的分散度。从这些试验结果的比较可清楚地发现,按照本发明的连续型揉合机在室的中心和在边上的分散度要比传统的机器均匀得更快。这就说明,具有相反方向的螺旋线方向的转子在腔之间所进行的混合物交换要比传统的转子好,而且混合物的流动接近于推流,另外还说明,在连续的混合作业中,通过像推流一样的流动,很少在排放出口处产生短路。
如上所述,按照本发明,通过将室中的一对转子的叶片的螺旋方向做成相反的方向,就可防止揉合对象在排放出口处的短路,揉合对象在室的腔之间的交换成为始终恒定的,可以改善揉合对象沿径向的均匀性和可分散性,可以完成用于连续供给和取出材料的连续揉合处理,得到提高揉合对象的生产率和降低成本的效果。

Claims (3)

1.连续型揉合机,它包括一由一对平行的圆柱形腔形成的室和一对可旋转的转子,两个腔在其侧面彼此连通,转子以不啮合的状态藏在腔中,其特征为,每个转子做成叶片形,叶片有一螺旋角并沿轴向有不变的横截面,转子在腔中的螺旋角的方向彼此相反,同时在转子旋转时,轴向的相位差保持不变。
2.如权利要求1的揉合机,其特征为,上述相位差为90°。
3.如权利要求1的揉合机,其特征为,上述螺旋角为5°~30°。
