Abstract

Description

处理初始成型或整形用模具壁的无水的脱模/润滑剂
本发明涉及处理初始成型或整形用模具壁的无水组合物、其生产方法、及其应用。
金属工业中用于模铸法、壳型铸造法[壳模铸造法-Tr.Ed.]、热模锻法等中的惯用的脱模剂或润滑剂均由水分散体形式(悬浮液或特别是乳液)的油和蜡组成。为了制备这类保持稳定的分散体和乳液,需要大量的乳化剂来避免相分离,即,水从油和/或蜡中分离。然而,在润滑模具的制剂中存在这样的乳化剂和甚至水本身是与许多缺点相联系的。
在用于预处理,例如,金属的模铸或热模锻用的模具的惯用的脱模剂或润滑剂中,以总固体含量为基准计的乳化剂含量为10~30%;然而,这些乳化剂对脱模剂或润滑剂的实际作用并无任何任何的帮助,因此它代表对这些剂的作用来说是多余的平衡物。此外,某些这样的平衡物仍会残留在已从模具中脱离出的成型物件表面上或在其中。
此外,由于已知的模具润滑剂和脱模剂的高的水含量之故,必须添加抗蚀剂以防止腐蚀模具与其他机械另件例如通常由金属制成的装模板。因为含有大量水的惯用的润滑剂和脱模剂是以细雾形式被喷雾在甚至相距甚远的机器部件上的从而使它们被暴露于水中;此外,在过去还必须添加防止细菌在乳液中生长的药剂。在没有这样杀菌剂的情况下乳液就不能在充分长的时期内稳定。然而,这些组分对促进在模具上形成均匀薄膜或对模具的脱模作用是没有任何帮助的;相反,这些添加剂会显示高的负面影响。还有,存在于水中的盐(甚至在软化水中仍有少量存在)能对通过脱模剂而被形成在模具表面上的薄膜具有非常大的负面影响。
当这些用乳化剂和其他添加剂生产的水基脱模剂和润滑剂被使用时,会遇到下面的问题:
1.由于所谓的Leidenfrost现象会延迟薄膜的形成。
2.损害已形成的薄膜的粘结力。
3.损害已形成的薄膜的均匀性。
4.[涂层对金属的]粘合及薄膜的强度会被降低。
5.在水被蒸发后薄膜的润滑与脱模作用减少。
6.形成气体的趋势增加并由此导致在铸件中包含气体危险性的趋
  势也增加。
由于这些必不可少的添加剂的负面作用之故,现有技术中所使用的脱模剂和润滑剂组分的脱膜性和润滑性方面的所有优点就不再能发挥,而其成膜性被大大地削弱。
因此本发明是基于提供克服现有技术的脱模剂和润滑剂的缺陷并且甚至在非常少量的情况下具有特别有效的作用与良好贮存性的脱膜剂和润滑剂的这一任务的。
根据本发明此任务是通过提供一种处理初始成型或整形用模具壁的无水组合物而得以实现的,该无水组合物含有高达30%的石蜡和/或聚烯烃蜡和至少为70%的油,而油为硅油、合成油、植物油、矿物油、或这样油的混合物。
根据本发明的组合物基本上是无水的。在本发明的范围内术语“无水的”被用来意指完全没有水被添加到各组分中,即所用的各组分是以尽可能纯的形式被使用的。然而,极少量的水可作为微量吸收例如周围空气中的湿气之结果而存在。但是,这样的量通常不到组合物的1%,并且本发明的组合物优选是以使其水含量为少于0.5%那样的方式被贮存的。
由于它们相对来说是无水的,因此本发明的产物能在无乳化剂的条件下被生产,并且还能在无抗蚀剂的条件下被生产。对本发明的组合物来说,防腐剂既不是绝对必要的,但是也可以适当地添加少量的防腐剂(0~2%)以确保特别好的贮存性。
本发明的组合物可以以常用方式被敷施到模具。特别是,在被均匀喷雾后本发明的组合物能快速地形成特别好的薄膜;因而它们有助于大大地减少例如模铸法的周期,并还有助于提高生产率。由于在本发明的组合物中各组分是以浓缩形式存在的,因此仅需要非常少量的润滑剂。结果,清除从模具中滴出或蒸发的大量废润滑剂的问题被免除掉了。这随之也减少了对损害金属加工车间中工人健康的任何潜在的危险性(此危险性可能是与组合物的组分相关的),并减轻了对环境的污染。由于使用本发明脱模剂的操作是在无水情况下进行的,因此,还应该强调的是,由此大大地减轻了废水装置的负担。
此外,本发明的组合物在模具表面上形成薄膜之后显示出被大大地改进的均匀性与稳定性,并由此而具有更好的润滑性与脱模性。这意味着为了充填模具、打开模具和取出成型物品只需要很小的力。最后,由于薄膜与模具壁形成更好的粘着,使金属被残粘在模具壁上的危险性减少,这反过来导致增加模具的工作寿命。在模具中的铸造材料或被成型的材料还是比较干净的,因为只有极少的先前材料被粘合在其上。此外,如上面所述,为了达到对模具的令人满意的润滑只需要较少量的本发明的组合物。
可在本发明范围内使用的聚烯烃蜡是聚乙烯蜡、聚丙烯蜡、乙烯-丙烯共聚物蜡、和聚丁烯蜡。在本发明的范围内,这些蜡中的至少二种蜡或其与其他聚烯烃蜡或石蜡的掺合物均可以被有利地使用。
作为聚丙烯特别适用的是无规立构聚丙烯均聚物。
当至少部分结晶的蜡被使用时,在本发明的无水组合物中最好使用经热预处理形式的蜡。
某种程度氧化的聚烯烃蜡(基于聚烯烃蜡量为高达3%的氧)被优选,而且能促进本发明组合物各组分的混合。于是,在本发明的范围内特别优选的蜡是至少部分氧化的聚烯烃。
在本发明的另一优选的实施方案中,使用聚硅氧烷、特别是具有侧官能基的聚硅氧烷作为油。在本发明的范围内特别被优选的是,例如,二甲基硅氧烷、至少部分是由烷基衍生的硅氧烷、至少部分是由芳基衍生的硅氧烷、和至少部分是由烷芳基衍生的硅氧烷。然而,甚至更高极性的硅氧烷也是适用的,例如,至少部分是由聚醚官能衍生的硅氧烷。
在本发明的范围内,侧链以及特别是烷基侧链含有1~30个碳原子并且优选含有3~8个碳原子。
经光热预处理的聚有机硅氧烷、通过添加引发剂而经预处理的聚有机硅氧烷、和特别是部分交联的聚有机硅氧烷能被更有利地用于本发明中。当这些“经预硬化的”硅氧烷被使用时,经常观察到的是薄膜的形成成为更快和更均匀。
然而,除了聚硅氧烷外,还可以在本发明的范围内使用矿物油。这与它是重油还是轻油无关。可被例举的典型例子是“加热蒸汽缸油”(heatingsteam-cylinder oil)。
适用的植物油包括,例如,蓖麻油、豆油、葵花籽油、和亚麻油。在本发明的范围内被优选使用的合成油的例子是油酸酯例如甘油三油酸酯。
在本发明的范围内,能够使用少量的添加剂,但必须小心以确保这些添加剂不会引起任何大的损害本发明的组合物的脱模作用与润滑作用。在本发明的无水组合物中适用的添加剂的量与类型可以由专业人员基于其专业知识或通过择优性试验来确定。
例如,湿润剂、杀菌剂、改进润滑和脱模作用的添加剂,和,最后是粘度调节剂均可被作为添加剂使用。
湿润剂的例子包括表面活性剂诸如乙氧基化的脂肪酸和乙氧基化的醇,但必须小心地仅使用合适的醇,即,那些不会导致混合物分离的醇。
合适的杀菌剂包括,例如,基于六氢三吖嗪而生产的混合物。
改进润滑性与脱模性的添加剂是,例如,泰佛隆状化合物、微粉化硅氧烷树脂球、和各种类型的颜料,对专业人员来说它们均是已知的。
因此,已知的剂也是本身适用作粘度调节剂的剂。
在本发明的优选的实施方案中,组合物含有至少为98%的具有脱模与润滑作用的物质,即,蜡和油。
本发明的另一个目的是一种制备本发明的无水组合物的方法。在此方法中,各成分被混合在一起直至均匀时为止。混合优选在加热下进行。
本发明的再一个目的是应用处理初始成型或整形用模具壁用的无水脱模剂或润滑剂。
就本发明的应用而言,任何具有脱模或润滑作用的物质在原则上均是适用的,只要它们是符合上述有关无水组合物定义的无水的都行。特别适用的是合成油例如硅油。润滑剂与脱模剂还可能是,象本发明的组合物那样,含有对上述的具体应用具有明显好处的辅助材料。然而,被优选的剂是由至少98重量%的润滑与脱模作用的物质和不多于2重量%的添加剂或辅助材料例如杀菌剂、乳化剂、溶剂、等等组成的。
在本发明的范围内特别被优选的是根据本发明的权利要求书中所规定的无水组合物。
如以上已被详细地讨论过的那样,本发明的无水组合物在这方面的应用中显示特别的正面效果[即,模具的润滑作用-Tr.Ed.]。
即使通过使用本发明的组合物而被产生在模具表面上的脱膜剂薄膜含有最小量的各种组分,但脱模性未受任何的损害。恰恰相反,如以上所讨论的那样,所形成的脱模剂薄膜成为更稳定、更均匀、和更具有粘性;此外,薄膜还能防止与脱膜剂接触的金属组件的腐蚀。由于作为改进脱模作用的结果而提供的保护作用也增加了模具的寿命,并且还避免了由危害工作者和环境(诸如积聚大量的废水)而引起的问题。
尽管根据本发明能以任何的合适方式将脱模剂施加到模具,但是在本发明的范围内被优选的是尽可能以最细微粒的形式将脱模剂喷雾到模具上。脱模剂能通过,例如,具有离心雾化作用与空气源的喷雾装置来喷施。
下面的实施例被用来更详细地解释本发明。实施例1
在室湿下将植物豆油(精制工艺豆油,Cargill B.V.,Amsterdam,TheNetherlands)与液体聚丁烯(聚丁烯L-50,Amoco Chemical Co.,Chicago,USA)在室温下混合30分钟以形成透明、均匀的混合物。为了防止产物的细菌生长而加入少量的杀菌剂(Forcide 8,Progiven Antiseptigues[sic;Antiseptiqes?-Tr.Ed.],Fontenay-sous-Bois,France)。脱膜与润滑剂的最终组成为:
-81.9重量%的豆油;
-18.0重量%的聚丁烯;和
-0.1重量%的杀菌剂。实施例2
将无规立构聚丙烯均聚物(一种PP均聚物,由DSM PerformancePolymer,Sittard,The Netherlands制造)加热到220℃。在聚合物被熔融/软化后,在剧烈的搅拌下将空气强烈地搅入到液体聚合物中以促进在高温下诱发的氧化反应。
在220℃下经20小时后,让氧化的聚合物冷却到100℃,然后将聚合物与经预热(100的℃)的用有机基团官能化的硅油(Wacker TN,WackerChemie,Burghausen,Germany)相混合。将混合物搅拌30分钟直至形成均匀的组合物为止。在将混合物冷却到室温后,添加少量的杀菌剂(Forcide78,Progiyen Antiseptigues[sic],Fontenay-sous-Bois,France)以防止细菌生长。组合物的最终组成为:
-84.9重量%的用有机基团官能化的硅油;
-15.0重量%的氧化的无规立构丙烯;和
-0.1重量%的杀菌剂。实施例3
将乙烯-丙烯共聚物(Eastoflex E1003D,Eastman Chemical Products,Inc.,Kingsport,TN,USA)加热到200℃。在共聚物被熔融/软化后,在氮气氛下在90分钟内非常小心地添加0.4ppm的有机过氧化物(Trigonox101-7-5pp-pd,Akzo Nobel,Deventer,The Netherlands)以促进将氧分子化学结合到共聚物链中。在添加过氧化物后,再在氮气氛下在200℃对液体共聚物处理[sic;stirred?][geführt/gerührt]-Tr.Ed.]另外的120分钟。
为了完成氧化,将液态的、过氧化的共聚物在240℃下重新加热。借助于剧烈的搅拌将空气导入到共聚物熔体中。在35小时后,让氧化的共聚物冷却到70℃,然后将氧化的共聚物与液体聚丁烯(聚丁烯-L50,AmocoChemical Company,Chicago,USA)以1∶1的比例搅拌30分钟以形成均匀混合物。然后将此液体混合物冷却到室温。
通过在室温下将氧化的乙烯-丙烯共聚物/聚丁烯混合物与合成的甘油三油酸酯(甘油三油酸酯,Daudruy van Cauwenberghe & Fils,Dunkerque,France)混和30分钟得到各组分的最终组合物。在混合过程结束时,添加少量的杀菌剂(Forcide 78,Progiven Fontenay-sous-Bois)以防止细菌的生长。
最终的组成为:
-84.9重量%的甘油三油酸酯;
-7.5重量%的氧化的乙烯-丙烯共聚物;
-7.5重量%的聚丁烯;和
-0.1重量%的杀菌剂。

1.一种处理初始成型或整形用模具壁的无水组合物,含有最高达30%的聚烯烃蜡和/或石蜡和至少为70%的油,其中油为硅油、合成油、植物油、矿物油、或几种这样油的掺合物。
2.根据权利要求1的组合物,其特征在于聚烯烃蜡选自聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯-丙烯共聚物、聚丁烯、以及这些蜡中的至少二种蜡的掺合物。
3.根据权利要求1或2的组合物,其特征在于它含有作为聚丙烯的无规立构聚丙烯均聚物。
4.根据权利要求1~3之一的组合物,其特征在于聚烯烃是被高达3%的氧所氧化的。
5.根据权利要求1~4之一的组合物,其特征在它含有聚硅氧烷、特别是用侧基官能化的聚有机硅氧烷。
6.根据权利要求5的组合物,其特征在于侧基是烷基、芳基、烷芳基、或聚醚基。
7.根据权利要求6的组合物,其特征在于侧基含有1~30个、优选为3~8个的碳原子。
8.根据前述权利要求之一的组合物,其特征在于它含有部分交联的硅油。
9.根据权利要求1~8之一的组合物,其特征在于它还含有作为添加剂的湿润剂,防腐剂,和/或改进润滑作用、脱模性、和粘度的试剂。
10.一种根据权利要求1~9之一的组合物,其特征在于它含有至少为98%的具有润滑与脱膜作用的物质。
11.一种生产根据权利要求1~10之一的无水组合物的方法,其特征在于将一种或多种的蜡与油和任何存在的添加剂相混合直至得到均匀混合物为止。
12.根据权利要求11的方法,其特征在于混合过程是与加热一起进行的。
13.无水的脱模/润滑剂用于处理初始成型或整形用模具壁的应用。
14.根据权利要求13的应用,其特征在于无水的脱模/润滑剂含有至少98重量%的具有润滑和脱膜作用的物质以及不多于2重量%的辅助材料例如杀菌剂、乳化剂、溶剂、等等。
15.根据权利要求13或14的应用,其特征在于使用根据权利要求1~10之一种的无水组合物。
