Abstract

Description

燃料容器及其制造方法
本发明涉及一种由塑料制成的燃料容器,其具有一个底部和一个上部闭合壁。此外,本发明还涉及一个制造这种燃料容器的方法。
当前在机动车中应用的塑料燃料容器是用吹塑方法制造的。虽然这种燃料容器可以成本低廉地制造,但是,却必须承受相对大的公差范围。特别不利的情况,通常出现在一批燃料容器中位于底部和上部闭合壁之间的距离不同,这是因为在检测填充容积时可出现相应的偏差。而且,对燃料容器中必需的构件之装配工作,在用吹塑方法制造的燃料容器中带来了困难。因为,这些构件必须通过一个横截面相对窄小的入口管或一个装配口导入。
基于上述问题,本发明的任务是提供一个开头所称类型的燃料容器,使得结构件在其中能尽可能简单地装配并且位于其底部和上部闭合壁之间的距离尽可能地达到窄小的公差范围。另外,还提供一个制造这种燃料容器的方法。
上面所述的问题,按照发明要求如此解决:该燃料容器是通过将一个具有上部闭合壁的上部塑料壳和一个形成底部的下部塑料壳焊接一起而制成的;这两个塑料壳用注塑方法制成,为了保持一个位于上部闭合壁和底部之间的精确距离,在燃料容器中设置了实现限位的间距固定器。
在这样的燃料容器中,人们就可以使结构件在注塑之前成型于其最终位置上,这样,由于一个注入管或一个安装口导致的后续装配困难就省去了,该间距固定器可实现,在焊接时总是将塑料壳相互挤压到精确相同的程度,因此,在底部和上部闭合壁之间总可获得相同的间距而与制造公差无关,这对于精确地测定填充体积来说是很有利的。
该间距固定器可以低廉成本的有利的方式在一个制造塑料壳的加工程序中制成,此时,该间距固定器则成形在上边塑料壳和/或下边塑料壳上。
但是,作为另一种可供选择的方案,该间距固定器设置成可分开的结构件,该结构件在塑料壳焊接一起前可先进行安装。
在焊接该塑料壳时,将之强制进行相互精确地定位,因为此时,按照本发明另一变形结构,该间距固定器成设置用以使塑料壳结构吻合连接的结构。
所称的第二任务,亦即提供一个制造具有前述特征之塑料容器的方法,按照本发明要求是如此解决的:首先,在注塑方法中制造一个上边的塑料壳和一具下边的塑料壳;接着,将塑料壳相互组装一起,并在环绕每个塑料壳焊接边缘区域内的中间连接一个加热元件;然后,借助加热元件将焊接边缘加热;在加热焊接边缘之后,将加热元件撤去;紧接着,相对地压紧塑料壳,直到在安置塑料壳中的间距固定器到达限位的程度。
这种燃料容器是可以很低廉的成本制造的。而且还允许,将结构件在制造塑料容器时已经定位在塑料中,通过这种间距固定器,塑料壳就可以通过压力焊接相互连接在一起。
也可以采用当前普通的方法实现将塑料壳可靠地焊接在一起,只要此时,塑料壳的焊接边缘分别通过一个向外指向的法兰形边缘构成并且为了将塑料壳压紧在一起,用一个夹钳将两个相互叠置的法兰形边缘夹住即可。
本发明可以允许有多种实施方案,为了进一步阐明其基本原理,在附图中示出了一个燃料容器在制作过程中的边缘区域,并在下面加以说明。
在附图中描绘的燃料容器包括一个上边的塑料壳1和一个下边的塑料壳2,它们用注塑方法制成并可以与未示出的结构件形成一组合整体。两个(塑料壳)都具有一个法兰形指向朝外的边缘3、4。在该图示的位置上,位于这些边缘3、4之间置有一个加热元件5。人们用它将位于边缘3、4区域中的塑料加热直至该塑料变成软糊状态为止,然后撤走该加热元件5并接着例如用一个夹钳6将边缘3、4压紧在一起,以使边缘3、4相互焊接。还可以另一种加热装置作为夹钳6构件。这种压紧在一起的工作也可以用另外构造的夹钳或完全不同的其它方式来实现。
对于本发明重要的是,要精确保持塑料壳1、2相互间的距离,为的是下边塑料壳2的底部7能与上边塑料壳1的上部闭合壁8保持精确的距离。为此,设置一个间距固定器9,它在将塑料壳1、2焊接在一起时相对地接触。在所述的实施例中,该间距固定器9包括一个在上边塑料壳1上成形的并向下伸出的柱件10和一个在下边塑料壳2上成形的并指向向上的柱件11。该柱件11在其端侧面上具有一个凹槽12,其中配装一个在柱件10之下边端侧面上的颈销13。在制做完工的状态下,该颈销13结构吻合地卡入凹槽12中。

Claims (6)

1.塑料制的燃料容器具有一个底部和一个上部闭合壁,其特征在于:该容器通过一个具有上部闭合壁(8)的上部塑料壳(1)和一个形成底部(7)的下部塑料壳(2)构成;这两个塑料壳(1,2)用注塑方法制成;为了保持一个位于上部闭合壁(8)和底部(7)之间的精确距离,在塑料容器中设置焊接时实现限位的间距固定器(9)。
2.按照权利要求1所述的燃料容器,其特征在于:该间距固定器(9)构成在上边的塑料壳(1)和/或下边的塑料壳(2)上。
3.按照权利要求1或2所述的燃料容器,其特征在于:该间距固定器(9)设置成分开的、但在焊接塑料壳(1,2)之前可将其进行安装的结构件。
4.按照前述权利要求之一所述的燃料容器,其特征在于:该间距固定器(9)设置成用以使塑料壳(1,2)结构吻合的结构。
5.制造一个燃料容器的方法,其特征在于:首先,用注塑方法制造一个上边的塑料壳和一个下边的塑料壳;接着,将塑料壳相互组装一起并在环绕每个塑料壳的焊接边缘区域内中间连接一个加热元件;然后,借助该加热元件加热焊接边缘;在加热焊接边缘之后,撤走该加热元件;紧接着,将塑料壳相对地压紧在一起,直到在燃料容器中安置的间距固定器达到限位的程度。
6.按照权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于:塑料壳的焊接边缘分别通过一个指向向外的法兰形边缘构成;为了将塑料壳压力焊接在一起,用一个夹钳将两个相互叠置的法兰形边缘夹住。
