(1)一种车辆用前照灯装置(例如,后述的车辆用前照灯装置1),包括:图案光照射部(例如,后述的作为图案光照射部的左侧图案照射灯具41、右侧图案照射灯具42),以明区域(例如,后述的明区域a1)与暗区域(例如,后述的暗区域a2)交替反复的照射图案(例如,后述的照射图案Lp),向车辆(例如,后述的车辆2)中的规定的照射图案配光区域(例如,后述的照射图案配光区域16、17)照射光;及,转向辅助灯(例如,后述的左侧转向辅助灯43、右侧转向辅助灯44),针对前述照射图案配光区域的下方的配光区域(例如,后述的配光区域44a),以整个区域成为明区域的形态进行照射。
(2)根据(1)所述的车辆用前照灯装置,其中,前述图案光照射部以与前述转向辅助灯同步的方式来照射光。
(发明的效果)
在(1)的车辆用前照灯装置中,借由图案光照射部,以明区域与暗区域交替反复的照射图案,对车辆要变更路线的方向的照射图案配光区域进行照射,因此,根据人的视觉特性,可以由驾驶者容易地识别到侧方的步行者的存在。除此之外,利用转向辅助灯对照射图案配光区域的下方的配光区域进行照射,即使在夜间、或夜间且雨天这样的恶劣条件下,也可以改善驾驶者对步行者的看漏。
在(2)的车辆用前照灯装置中,图案光照射部以与转向辅助灯同步的方式来照射光,因此驾驶者可以可靠地识别到车辆要变更路线的方向上的步行者的存在。

具体实施方式
以下,参照附图对本发明的一实施方式进行说明。此外,在以下的说明中,照射图案配光区域是指某特定的光的照射区域,照射图案是指光对照射图案配光区域的照射形态。
图1是绘示本发明的实施方式的车辆用前照灯装置的概念性结构图。车辆用前照灯装置1以从车辆2的车宽方向中央位置观察左右对称的形态,分别配备在左侧与右侧。车辆用前照灯装置1中,按照从车宽方向外侧朝向内侧的顺序,配置有转向信号灯具3、图案照射灯具4、近光(low beam)灯具5、远光灯具6。
此外,图案照射灯具4是作为左侧光照射部的左侧图案照射灯具41与作为右侧光照射部的右侧图案照射灯具42的总称。另外,在左侧的车辆用前照灯装置1下方的外侧方设置有左侧转向辅助灯43,在右侧的车辆用前照灯装置1下方的外侧方设置有右侧转向辅助灯44。
转向信号灯具3是常规的这种类的灯具。作为图案光照射部的图案照射灯具4以明区域与暗区域交替反复的照射图案,向车辆2中的后述的照射图案配光区域16、17照射光。近光灯具5向指定近光的配光区域照射光。远光灯具6向指定远光的配光区域照射光。在上述中,照射图案配光区域16为本车辆2的行驶车道左前方的左侧的配光区域。照射图案配光区域17为本车辆2的行驶车道右前方的右侧的配光区域。
在近光灯具5点亮、对未图示的方向指示杆进行左转的操作以及该操作时间点下的车速等判定为驾驶者有左转的意思的条件得到满足时,左侧转向辅助灯43点亮。左侧转向辅助灯43针对与照射图案配光区域16的下方的后述的配光区域44a对应的未图示的配光区域,以整个区域成为明区域的形态,进行照射。即,左侧转向辅助灯43对包含车辆2的左侧方的区域的路面进行照射。
在近光灯具5点亮、对未图示的方向指示杆进行右转的操作以及该操作时间点下的车速等判定为驾驶者有右转的意思的条件得到满足时,右侧转向辅助灯44点亮。右侧转向辅助灯44针对照射图案配光区域17的下方的后述的配光区域44a,以整个区域成为明区域的形态,进行照射。即,右侧转向辅助灯44对包含车辆2的右侧方的区域的路面进行照射。此外,以下适当地将具有车辆用前照灯装置1的车辆2称为本车辆2。
图2是绘示图1的车辆用前照灯装置1中的图案照射灯具4以及左右的转向辅助灯的概念性结构图。图案照射灯具4具有作为左侧光照射部的左侧图案照射灯具41与作为右侧光照射部的右侧图案照射灯具42。左侧图案照射灯具41包括发光元件驱动电路411、面发光元件412、遮光掩模413及投射光学系统414而构成。
右侧图案照射灯具42包括发光元件驱动电路421、面发光元件422、遮光掩模423及投射光学系统424而构成。遮光掩模413具有跟明区域与暗区域交替反复的第一照射图案对应的透光狭缝。遮光掩模423具有跟明区域与暗区域交替反复的第二照射图案对应的透光狭缝。在本发明的一实施方式中,第一照射图案与第二照射图案为相同的照射图案。
左侧图案照射灯具41的发光元件驱动电路411响应从搭载在车辆2上的灯具控制电子控制单元(Electronic Control Unit,ECU)40供给的启动指令信号Sc1,而发出元件驱动信号Ds1并供给至面发光元件412。面发光元件412响应元件驱动信号Ds1而发光。左侧图案照射灯具41借由面发光元件412的发光,经由遮光掩模413及投射光学系统414,朝后述的照射图案配光区域照射第一照射图案的左侧照射光PLL。
右侧图案照射灯具42的发光元件驱动电路421响应从灯具控制ECU 40供给的启动指令信号Sc2,而发出元件驱动信号Ds2并供给至面发光元件422。面发光元件422响应元件驱动信号Ds2而发光。右侧图案照射灯具42借由面发光元件422的发光,经由遮光掩模423及投射光学系统424,朝后述的照射图案配光区域17照射第二照射图案的右侧照射光PLR。此外,如上所述,第一照射图案与第二照射图案为相同的照射图案。
与左侧转向辅助灯43对应地,设置有对其进行驱动的转向辅助灯驱动电路431。转向辅助灯驱动电路431响应从灯具控制ECU 40供给的左侧转向辅助灯点亮指令信号Sc3,而发出元件驱动信号Ds3并供给至左侧转向辅助灯43。左侧转向辅助灯43响应元件驱动信号Ds3而对车辆2的左侧方的路面进行照射。
与右侧转向辅助灯44对应地,设置有对其进行驱动的转向辅助灯驱动电路441。转向辅助灯驱动电路441响应从灯具控制ECU 40供给的右侧转向辅助灯点亮指令信号Sc4,而发出元件驱动信号Ds4并供给至右侧转向辅助灯44。右侧转向辅助灯44响应元件驱动信号Ds4而对车辆2的右侧方的路面进行照射。
图3是绘示图2的图案照射灯具及左右的转向辅助灯的动作的时序图。在图3中,符号TL为点亮指令信号。点亮指令信号TL由图2的灯具控制ECU40的上级ECU,在判定为驾驶者有右转的意思的条件得到满足时发出,并被供给至灯具控制ECU 40。关于点亮指令信号TL,信号电平为高时代表点亮指示,为低时代表熄灭指示。
灯具控制ECU 40响应于点亮指令信号TL转为点亮指示,而将右侧转向辅助灯点亮指令信号Sc4转为点亮指示电平。进而,灯具控制ECU 40以同步于将右侧转向辅助灯点亮指令信号Sc4转为点亮指示电平方式,将启动指令信号Sc2转为点亮指示电平。结果,在判定为驾驶者有右转的意思的条件得到满足时,右侧转向辅助灯44与右侧图案照射灯具42同步地照射照射光。
与参照图3进行的说明同样地,在判定为驾驶者有左转的意思的条件得到满足时,左侧转向辅助灯43与左侧图案照射灯具41同步地照射照射光。
图4是示意性地绘示后述的本发明的车辆用前照灯装置1的技术思想所涉及的人的视觉特性的图。在图3中,根据人的视觉特性,人H的前方视野7被区分为从正面向左右以一定的锐角扩展的中心视野8、以及与中心视野8的左右邻接的左周边视野9和右周边视野10。
在一般性的人的视觉特性中,对于中心视野8,呈可以清晰地看到形状,但对变动的反应慢的倾向。对于左周边视野9及右周边视野10,呈可以模糊地看到形状,但对变动的反应快,即对变动的灵敏度高的倾向。本发明的车辆用前照灯装置1立足于积极利用上述那样的人的视觉特性这一想法。
图5是以平面视图来绘示在直线道路上直行的车辆2中的来自图2的图案照射灯具41、42的照射光的示意图。图5绘示了正要在车辆2所处的道路11上直行的情况。道路11是划有包含车道中央线的划线14并划分有步行道的宽度宽广的道路。此外,来自近光灯具5的照射光由符号LB表示。
在夜间时,借由驾驶者的手动操作或者自动照明功能,近光灯具5与左侧图案照射灯具41及右侧图案照射灯具42照射照射光PLL及PLR。左侧图案照射灯具41对左侧照射光PLL的照射图案配光区域16进行照射。右侧图案照射灯具42对右侧照射光PLR的照射图案配光区域17进行照射。
此外,左侧转向辅助灯43对包含车辆2的左侧方的配光区域43a的路面进行照射,右侧转向辅助灯44对包含车辆2的右侧方的配光区域44a的路面进行照射。如图5中所示,在车辆2在直线道路上直行的情况下,左侧转向辅助灯43及右侧转向辅助灯44是熄灭的。左侧转向辅助灯43的配光区域43a关于图6A至图6C的平面视图中的车辆2的前后方向的中央线,与右侧转向辅助灯44的配光区域44a对称。
图6A是以平面视图来绘示在交叉路口右转的车辆中的来自图2的图案照射灯具及转向辅助灯的照射光的示意图。图6A绘示了车辆2正要在车辆2所处的道路11跟与道路11交叉的道路12的交叉路口13进行右转的情况。道路11是划有包含车道中央线的划线14并划分有步行道的宽度宽广的道路,道路12比其宽度窄。道路12的交叉路口13附近的人行横道12a以路面标识示出。此外,来自近光灯具5的照射光由符号LB表示。
在车辆2中,当对方向指示杆进行右转的操作以及该操作时间点下的车速等判定为驾驶者有右转的意思的条件得到满足时,右侧转向辅助灯44与右侧图案照射灯具42同步地照射照射光。左侧图案照射灯具41被熄灭,右侧图案照射灯具42对包含车辆2的右侧方的配光区域44a的路面进行照射。右侧图案照射灯具42对右侧照射光PLR的照射图案配光区域17进行照射。
此外,在车辆进行左侧通行情况下的右转时,如果存在对向车辆,则在等待靠近的对向车辆通过的时间内,进行将右侧图案照射灯具42熄灭的控制,抑制对向车辆的驾驶者被来自右侧图案照射灯具42的照射光眩惑的可能性。另外,在车辆进行右侧通行情况下的左转时也是,左侧图案照射灯具41照射照射光,而右侧图案照射灯具42被熄灭。此外,在之后的实施方式中,关于左转时,因为是与右转时左右相反的控制,因此也省略说明。
此时,右侧转向辅助灯44的配光区域44a与右侧图案照射灯具42的照射图案配光区域17在俯视中局部重复。实际上,右侧转向辅助灯44的配光区域44a为相对低的包含路面上的区域,与此相对,右侧图案照射灯具42的照射图案配光区域17为与配光区域44a相比相对高的区域。此外,配光区域44a与照射图案配光区域17也可以在高度方向上也局部重复。
验证了借由在来自近光灯具5的照射光LB的基础上,还从右侧转向辅助灯44与右侧图案照射灯具42同时照射照射光,右转时对车辆右侧方的步行者15的目视确认性大幅提高。具体来说,当将图5、图6a中的步行者15的位置设为P1、P2、P3、P4,并将它们的位置分别暂称为步行者来进行说明时,验证结果如下。
对位于道路12的左边的步行道上的步行者P1、位于对向车道的相反侧的右边的步行道上的步行者P2、以及以从车辆2观察的朝向要从相对进深侧向近前侧横穿道路12的人行横道12a的步行者P3中的各者的目视确认性其与仅照射了来自近光灯具5的照射光LB的情况相比,从“不易可见”水平大幅提高到了“清楚可见”水平。此外,在向道路11的左边的步行道,从左侧图案照射灯具41朝照射图案配光区域16照射了左侧照射光PLL的情况下,对于步行者P1,目视确认性明显提高。
然而,对以从车辆2观察的朝向要从相对近前侧向进深侧横穿道路12的人行横道12a的步行者P4的目视确认性其由于只有从右侧转向辅助灯44照射的照射光,因此处于“一般可见”水平。因此,借由采用图6B、图6C所示那样的照射图案配光区域17,对步行者P2的目视确认性也大幅地提高到了“清楚可见”水平。具体来说,图6B可以借由使上述右侧图案照射灯具42沿左右方向摇动,或者扩展右侧图案照射灯具42的照射范围的宽度,来获得照射图案配光区域17。另外,图6C借由在图6A的右侧图案照射灯具42的基础上,还设置对右侧进行照射的第二右侧图案照射灯具42A,来获得照射图案配光区域17。
接下来,针对以明区域与暗区域交替反复的照射图案,向车辆2中的照射图案配光区域16、17照射光,由此由驾驶者目视确认步行者15时的现象,参照图7至图10来进行说明。此外,在图7至图10中,针对从作为左侧光照射部的左侧图案照射灯具41以明区域与暗区域交替反复的照射图案照射光时的现象进行说明,但利用作为右侧光照射部的右侧图案照射灯具42照射光时的现象也相同。
图7是示意性地绘示图2的左侧图案照射灯具41中应用的遮光掩模413的图。图8是绘示以夜间的驾驶视野观察利用图7的遮光掩模413形成的照射图案Lp的左侧照射光PLL的情形的示意图。利用遮光掩模413形成的照射图案的左侧照射光PLL的照射图案Lp被照射至车辆2的前方处左侧的照射图案配光区域16,被目视确认为明亮的格子状。即,可以看到明区域a1与暗区域a2交替反复的格子状的照射图案Lp。
图9是以驾驶者的视点来绘示以来自车辆用前照灯装置1的左侧图案照射灯具41的照射图案Lp的光对站立不动的步行者15进行了照射的情形的图。
图10是以驾驶者的视点来绘示以来自车辆用前照灯装置1的左侧图案照射灯具41的照射图案Lp的光对移动中的步行者15进行了照射的情形的图。
当步行者15从道路旁移动出时,如对照图9与图10所理解的那样,步行者15中的被照射图案Lp的光照射的格子状的图案的明部18的形状发生变化。明部18与邻接部的对比大,可以由驾驶者明了地目视确认到。
实际上,根据人的视觉特性,明部18的形状看起来正在发生变化而变动。明部18的形状的变化发生在驾驶者的周边视野。由此,驾驶者可以马上识别到步行者15的存在。因此,可以显著地改善驾驶者对步行者的看漏。
本发明的实施方式的车辆用前照灯装置1中的左侧图案照射灯具41及右侧图案照射灯具42的结构不限于图2及图7的实施方式。例如,也可以利用投射仪来构成左侧图案照射灯具41及右侧图案照射灯具42,所述投射仪应用了包含以照射图案Lp向照射图案配光区域16、17照射光的微镜组的数字微镜器件(Digital Mirror Device,DMD)。
另外,构成为在直行时从左右的图案照射灯具41,42照射照射光,在右转时将左边的图案照射灯具熄灭,但也可以设为仅在右转时从右边的图案照射灯具照射照射光。另外,是使左右的转向辅助灯与左右的图案照射灯具41,42同时照射,但不限于此,也可以从左右的转向辅助灯的照射起经过规定时间后,使左右的图案灯具41,42进行照射,由此来使其同步。
根据本实施方式的车辆用前照灯装置1,起到以下效果。
在(1)的车辆用前照灯装置1中,包括:作为图案光照射部的右侧图案照射灯具42,所述图案光照射部以明区域a1与暗区域a2交替反复的照射图案Lp,向车辆2中的照射图案配光区域17照射光;及,右侧转向辅助灯44,针对照射图案配光区域17的下方的配光区域44a,以整个区域成为明区域的形态进行照射。由此,借由右侧图案照射灯具42,以明区域a1与暗区域a2交替反复的照射图案Lp,对车辆2要右转的方向的照射图案配光区域17进行照射,因此,根据人的视觉特性,可以由驾驶者容易地识别到侧方的步行者15的存在。除此之外,利用右侧转向辅助灯44对照射图案配光区域17的下方的配光区域44a进行照射,即使在夜间、或夜间且雨天这样的恶劣条件下,也可以改善驾驶者对步行者的看漏。车辆2要左转的情况下,左侧图案照射灯具41与左侧转向辅助灯43也同样地发挥功能,与车辆2要右转的情况同样地,可以改善驾驶者对步行者的看漏。
在(2)的车辆用前照灯装置1中,作为图案光照射部的右侧图案照射灯具42以与右侧转向辅助灯44同步的方式来照射光,因此驾驶者可以可靠地识别到车辆2要右转的方向上的步行者15的存在。车辆2要左转的情况下,左侧图案照射灯具41与左侧转向辅助灯43也同步地照射光,因此,与车辆2要右转的情况同样地,可以改善驾驶者对步行者的看漏。
以上,针对本发明的实施方式进行了说明。在本发明中,将转向辅助灯的配光区域设为了图案光照射部的照射图案配光区域的下方的配光区域,但这是也包含转向辅助灯的配光区域与图案光照射部的照射图案配光区域局部重复的情况的技术思想。

Claims (2)

1.一种车辆用前照灯装置,包括:
图案光照射部,以明区域与暗区域交替反复的照射图案,向车辆中的规定的照射图案配光区域照射光;及,
转向辅助灯,针对前述照射图案配光区域的下方的配光区域,以整个区域成为明区域的形态进行照射。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车辆用前照灯装置,其中,前述图案光照射部以与前述转向辅助灯同步的方式来照射光。
