Abstract

Description
本发明涉及含研磨材料的口香糖,其对于口腔卫生并特别地对消除牙斑以及防止牙斑的形成是有用的。
已知现有技术的口香糖组合物含有研磨材料,该研磨材料被描述为对抑制或减少口腔的牙班是有用的。
US 4 400 372描述了口香糖组合物,该组合物包含胶基体,至少一种无毒酸源和平均粒径为2μm的煅烧高岭土,其中基本上所有粒子的直径均低于20μm。如其所述,在咀嚼时,口香糖组合物行使清洁牙釉的功能,并抑制牙班的重新形成。
US 4 828 820描述了可消除牙班的口香糖组合物,其包含20重量%~40重量%的具有特定颗粒尺寸的碳酸钙研磨剂。
而WO 97/02009描述了一种口香糖组合物,其包含弹性体和二氧化硅研磨料的紧密混合物,其中二氧化硅研磨料的平均粒径为1~8μm。
口香糖通过咀嚼而取得有效的清洁效果,与此同时自然地避免对牙釉的伤害,也避免产生不愉快的感官的土质感觉,这是所有含研磨材料的口香糖组合物的固有的共同问题。
据此,在胶基体组合物和口香糖的配方中所需考虑的主要参数基本上是研磨剂的性质,其颗粒尺寸以及在胶中所使用的量。
为解决上述问题,本发明的目的是含研磨材料填料的口香糖,其特征在于所述研磨材料被包含于交联的藻酸盐微球内。
由于包埋在藻酸盐基体材料中,所述特征的研磨材料微粒在开始咀嚼口香糖时特别地得到保护;因此,在开始咀嚼阶段避免了味觉上的不愉快的土质感觉;此外,由于微球相对易碎,在咀嚼时它们与牙齿直接接触而破碎,这样其可在研磨材料以积极方式行使其研磨作用的地方释放出研磨材料。
基于水胶体特别是藻酸盐的胶囊的制备与用途已经在专利文献中披露,其目的是包胶诸如甜味剂、调味剂和药物等活性要素,以达到这些活性要素的长效地和延迟地释放效果。
EP-A-0 202 819描述了用于口香糖的释放体系,其包括不溶于基于藻酸盐或多价阳离子的角菜酸盐(carraginates)的交联水胶体基体的活性剂。
该释放体系用以包胶例如,特别地是,精油,甜味剂和药物等活性剂。但是,其未提及在藻酸盐中包胶研磨材料用以防止和除去牙班的可能性,甚至未提及其可能的有益之处。
正如所提到的,在本发明范围内使用的藻酸盐微球通常是研磨材料颗粒分散在藻酸盐基体的微球;但是,在微球定义的范围内,其也可以是包裹着一层藻酸盐膜的研磨材料颗粒。
优选微球的尺寸,以当量平均直径表示,为0.6~1.5mm;但是,其优选为具有相对窄粒径分布曲线的微球,例如当量平均粒径为1,000~1,200μm。
相对于藻酸盐,研磨材料颗粒的相对含量优选为80-99重量%,相应地藻酸盐为20-1重量%。
但是微球可以包胶较少百分含量的活性剂,特别是调味剂、着色剂和用以护理和处理牙齿的活性要素,相对于100重量份的藻酸盐和微粒,重量百分含量通常不超过0.1重量%~1重量%。
包含在微球内的研磨颗粒材料一般是填料材料诸如,例如二氧化硅研磨料,滑石粉,高岭土,碳酸钙,但是也可以包括其中包含有机物质的其他的固体研磨材料,该有机物质在除去牙班的过程中具有辅助机械作用,只要其被现行法律允许掺入口香糖中。
典型地,研磨材料粒子的当量平均粒径为2~100μm,优选为4~60μm,更优选为6~10μm。
优选的材料是在牙膏配方中作为研磨填料的那一类二氧化硅研磨料。
也可以使用研磨材料的混合物,诸如,例如在WO 97/39728中所述的包含碳酸钙芯和二氧化硅壳的粒子,或二氧化硅-碳酸钙,二氧化硅-滑石粉-碳酸钙,二氧化硅-滑石粉,或碳酸钙-滑石粉的混合物。
制备藻酸盐微球的步骤本身是已知的,也就是利用藻酸盐的性质,即水溶性的藻酸盐的单价阳离子,例如钠和钾离子,在与多价阳离子发生离子替换后导致形成凝胶—当替换完全结束时—形成交联的不溶于水的沉淀。
在本发明的范围内钙离子用作多价阳离子,其以盐的形式加入水溶性藻酸盐(特别地是藻酸钠)的水溶液。
因此,例如,微球的制备可预期将氯化钙的水溶液加入到藻酸钠的水溶液中,藻酸钠水溶液包含以分散状态或悬浮状态存在的惰性研磨材料和可能的一种或多种活性要素,它们可散布或悬浮或分散在藻酸盐水溶液中。
着色剂选自食品法允许的种类,为了将其掺入微球而得到着色微球,其可包含在氯化钙的水溶液中或在藻酸钠的水溶液中。特别地,含非水溶性研磨材料的藻酸盐水溶液通过喷嘴加到氯化钙水溶液中,同时要控制加入速度和搅拌条件以得到具有理想粒径的微球。
以这种方式形成的藻酸钙微球将混合的两种溶液中的惰性研磨材料和/或活性要素结合到其内部。为了提高和加速藻酸盐的交联可以考虑添加酸作为交联引发剂。
为了包胶于微球中,活性要素可添加在藻酸盐水溶液中,其包括特别是以食品用途上可接受的氟盐形式存在的氟离子,磷和钙的盐,以稳定或亚稳方式与磷蛋白相连的盐或磷和钙,例如那些存在于水解酪蛋白的物质,以及调味剂物质—有利地—其相应于存在于口香糖的水溶部分的调味剂。
此外,营养综合品,维生素和强力的甜味剂也可以包括为活性要素。
在制备微球的步骤中,后者是通过过滤从反应物中回收,并随后用水洗涤并干燥至合适的含湿量;优选的含湿量为0.1重量%~5重量%—相对微球重量而言,因为具有这样含湿量的微球有足够的强韧性使其在制造口香糖的生产过程中经历必须的机械洗涤时保持完整性,但是当咀嚼时微球也具有足够的脆性使其在牙齿表面破碎,促使其机械地消除牙斑并在牙齿表面释放理想的活性要素。
将如此得到的优选具有上述含湿量的微球,引入口香糖组合物中,一般的含量为1重量%~10重量%,以组合物总重量计,或优选为3重量%~5重量%。
采用商业上可得到的胶基体利用传统方法完成口香糖的制备。
一般而言,采用的胶基体包括:
-5重量%~50重量%的自然存在的合成弹性体,特别是聚异丁烯,异丁烯-异戊二烯共聚物和丁二烯-苯乙烯;
-5重量%~60重量%的作为弹性体增塑剂的树脂,包括高或低分子量的聚萜烯树脂,松香酯和聚醋酸乙烯酯;
-5重量%~40重量%的软化剂(软化剂),其选自微晶石蜡,氢化或部分氢化植物油及其混合物;
-1重量%~15重量%的乳化剂,例如卵磷脂,单-和二-甘油醋酸酯和三醋酸酯;和
-0重量%~60重量%的任选填料,其选自制备胶基体时通常采用的填料。
口香糖可通过传统的方法制备,其包括将胶基体与藻酸盐微球,填料,甜味剂,调味剂和其他高或低强度的甜味剂和可能的增塑剂混合。优选地,口香糖组合物的水含量不高于5重量%。
实施例1
制备藻酸钠水溶液,其含1重量%~10重量%的藻酸盐,在特定的情况下含5重量%的藻酸钠。将二氧化硅粒子(Grace公司,SyloidAL1 F.P.)加到该溶液中,其粒径为6.0~7.6μm,用量为约40重量%,相对水溶液重量而言。将藻酸盐和二氧化硅的悬浮溶液通过搅拌来维持均相,其经过喷嘴以细小液滴的形式引入含1重量%的氯化钙水溶液中,并进行缓慢的搅拌。当含惰性二氧化硅的藻酸钠液滴与氯化钙接触后,转变为藻酸钙,其包裹着惰性二氧化硅。约5分钟后,从含沉淀微球的溶液中将上层清夜倒出,并将微球通过筛孔为1目的筛网过滤器过滤。微球在筛网中用少量水洗涤,并在烘箱中于真空下50℃干燥至水含量为约3重量%~5重量%。
实施例2
采用实施例1中所述相同的步骤,分别以碳酸钙和滑石粉代替二氧化硅,二者的颗粒尺寸基本上与前述实施例所用二氧化硅的颗粒尺寸相同。
实施例3
步骤与实施例1相同,向二氧化硅中添加食品着色剂,其浓度为0.1%~10%,以藻酸盐水溶液的重量计;操作与实施例1相同,得到着色的微球。
实施例4
操作与实施例1相同,向藻酸钠溶液添加由氟化钾表示的活性要素,其量为0.1重量%~10重量%,相对于藻酸盐水溶液重量而言。
将按照上述实施例得到的微球用于生产口香糖,其含15重量%~50重量%的胶基体,约20%~约60%增甜的填料,0.5%-15%的增塑剂和1%~10%的藻酸盐微球,此外还包括,调味剂和甜味剂,优选高强度的。
Claims (8)
1.包含研磨剂材料的口香糖组合物,其特征在于所述研磨剂材料选自二氧化硅研磨料,碳酸钙,滑石粉,高岭土及其混合物,并且其被包胶于交联的藻酸盐微球。
2.按照权利要求1的口香糖组合物,其特征在于所述微球的当量平均直径为0.6~1.5mm。
3.按照权利要求1的口香糖组合物,其特征在于所述微球的当量平均直径为1~1.2mm。
4.按照权利要求1~3任一项的口香糖组合物,其特征在于所述微球存在的量为口香糖重量的1重量%~10重量%。
5.按照权利要求1~3任一项的口香糖组合物,其特征在于所述研磨剂材料以颗粒存在,其尺寸以当量平均直径表示时为2~100μm。
6.按照权利要求5的口香糖组合物,其特征在于所述研磨剂材料的颗粒尺寸为6~10μm。
7.按照权利要求1~3任一项的口香糖组合物,其特征在于所述微球包含80重量%~99重量%的研磨剂材料。
8.按照权利要求1~3任一项的口香糖组合物,其特征在于所述微球进一步包含选自调味剂,甜味剂,活性剂及其混合物的成分。
