Description

Method for inhibiting sprouting of stored potatoes and potato sprouting inhibitor used by same
Technical Field
The invention relates to a method for inhibiting the sprouting of stored potatoes and a potato sprouting inhibitor used by the method, belonging to the technical field of agricultural product storage.
Background
The potato is an economic crop planted in large scale in China, the tuber of the potato contains a large amount of starch, can provide abundant heat for human bodies, and is rich in protein, amino acid, multiple vitamins and mineral substances, and particularly the vitamin content of the potato is far higher than that of other grain crops.
With the continuous development of the potato market, the storage quantity of fresh potatoes is rapidly increased, and the storage period is further prolonged. However, potatoes tend to germinate during storage, which is detrimental to the production and utilization of potato products. Previous studies have shown that during storage of potato tubers, 3 physiological stages of post-maturation, dormancy and germination occur. In the post-maturation stage, picked potatoes are not completely mature, the skins of the potatoes are not cork yet, the water content is higher, the respiration is vigorous, the skins of the potato blocks can be fully cork generally after about 30 days of physiological activities, and the process is called the post-maturation stage or the post-maturation stage; during this period the potatoes evaporate a large amount of water and the weight is severely lost, while the temperature of the potato mass slowly rises. In the dormancy stage, the potatoes are switched into the dormancy stage after the post-maturation stage, namely, the sprouts in the sprout eyes of the tubers are in a relatively stable and non-sprouting state, and at the moment, the epidermis of the potatoes is fully lignified, and the wounds are healed; the potato surface is dry, the respiration intensity and other physiological and biochemical activities are reduced and gradually become the lowest, and the loss of tuber substances is the least; the length of the dormancy stage is different according to varieties, the early-maturing variety is shorter, the late-maturing variety is longer, and the general range is 15-150 days. During germination, the potato tubers already have the ability to germinate through a series of changes during storage. When the potatoes are in a suitable environment, they begin to germinate. Therefore, the key to reducing the germination rate during storage of potatoes is to extend the dormancy period, i.e. to create external conditions unsuitable for potato germination.

1. Preparation of chitosan solution: 1.00g of chitosan was accurately weighed, placed in a 50mL 2% acetic acid solution beaker, and the beaker was placed in a 80 ℃ water bath and stirred with a glass rod for 30min.
2. Preparing an attapulgite solution: accurately weighing the attapulgite by an electronic balance, suspending the attapulgite in deionized water, uniformly stirring, and mixing with a chitosan solution.
3. Preparing a corn protein solution: dissolving zein in 90% ethanol solution, stirring, and mixing with the above solution.
4. 0.6g of glycerol was weighed into the above solution and stirred at 80 ℃ for 30min to completely mix the solution.
5. Cooling the prepared solution to room temperature, and uniformly coating the solution on the surface of the potato to make the surface of the potato fully contact with the reagent, as shown in fig. 1. The potatoes are placed at room temperature, and after standing for 24 hours, the potatoes are placed into a stuffy box to be cultured at 25 ℃ (about 50mL of distilled water is reserved at the bottom of the stuffy box to ensure that the potatoes are in a proper moist condition), and the sprouting condition is continuously observed.
Example 2: method for inhibiting sprouting of stored potatoes and potato sprouting inhibitor used by same
In the sixth group of example 1 (each 100mL of the nano-scale inhibitor is prepared by dissolving 1g of chitosan in 50mL of 2% acetic acid solution, 0.125g of attapulgite in 10mL of deionized water, and 0.125g of zein in 40mL of 90% ethanol), the experiment effect is the best, namely the germination rate and decay rate of potatoes are low, so the experiment is carried out by adopting the mixture ratio of the nano-scale inhibitor.
The experimental group without attapulgite and with the same proportion is set, and the influence of the attapulgite on the potato germination is explored. Meanwhile, an experimental group with high zein and low zein nano inhibitors is arranged to explore the bud inhibition effect of the zein content on the potatoes. The experimental formulation is set as shown in table 2 below, and the results are shown in fig. 2.
