该无规共聚物优选为主要由丙烯组成并且具有一定含量的乙烯和丁烯单体的统计共聚物。乙烯和丁烯含量一起优选小于该共聚物的10%wt.。这种无规共聚物接枝有马来酸酐,并且由于该共聚物的组成而具有约140℃至145℃的优选熔点或软化点。
这些结系层优选地由接枝有马来酸酐的均聚聚丙烯(MAH-PP)制成。MAH-PP主要由等规大分子组成,其中MAH取代基优选位于沿着链的同一侧。马来酸酐(MAH)接枝的均聚聚丙烯(PP)优选具有约160℃至165℃的熔点或软化点。
密封层的软化点或熔点至少比结系层的软化点或熔点低15℃至25℃之间,从而确保了包封中间层的这些结系层在复合膜密封至容器或与容器连接的盖环上的过程中不被软化或熔化。
骨架层由熔点或软化点为约155℃至170℃的均聚聚丙烯制成。骨架层的厚度优选为8至12μm。骨架层在内部多层薄膜的制造过程中、即在将内部多层薄膜层叠至外部支撑层之前,尤其可用作内部多层薄膜的支撑层。另外,骨架层增强了最终复合膜的机械稳定性。
中间层由具有优选的熔点或软化点在185℃至220℃之间的部分结晶的聚酰胺(PA)制成,特别地PA的软化点为约190℃。因此,聚酰胺层的熔点与密封层的熔点相比较高,从而确保了PA层在密封条件下不被压碎。
中间层的部分结晶的聚酰胺优选地是PA 6.6(尼龙)或PA 66.6。
由部分结晶的PA制成的中间层用作出色的阻隔层,防止被包装在容器中的物品的酸或脂肪组分迁移,但该部分结晶的PA具有吸湿性。为了防止聚酰胺吸收水,该部分结晶的PA层在两侧均覆盖有接枝有马来酸酐的均聚聚丙烯层。这些MAH-PP结系层用作防潮层。
可内聚性断裂的剥离层(25)由主要包括聚丙烯、聚乙烯和滑石的复合材料制成。可内聚性断裂的剥离层优选包含5至35wt.-%的聚乙烯,并且滑石含量优选在5至49wt.-%之间,其中该复合材料的其余部分优选由聚丙烯组成。
外部支撑层优选地是厚度为20至160μm、尤其为30至80μm的铝膜。
外部骨架层和中间层优选具有大约相同的厚度,大约为8至12μm。剥离层的厚度优选为10至18μm,并且这些结系层各自优选为3.5至4.5μm厚。密封层的厚度优选地为2.8至3.2μm。
本发明的复合膜优选用于通过将复合膜密封在容器的或待连接到容器上的盖环的周向密封表面上来封闭容器,其中该密封表面由金属、金属氧化物、聚丙烯或聚丙烯改性漆组成。
由复合膜制成的封闭件的密封优选通过将容器或至少盖环加热至密封层的软化点或至多高出10℃来完成,其中将复合膜置于环境温度下。然后将封闭件压在被加热的容器或盖环的周向密封表面上。
本发明还描述了一种生产本发明复合膜的方法,该复合膜包括由金属膜制成的外部支撑层和通过使用粘接层而层叠至该外部支撑层上的内部多层薄膜。该薄膜的特征为从外至内的连续层结构,该连续层结构由聚丙烯制成的骨架层、由部分结晶的聚酰胺制成的中间层和由聚丙烯、聚乙烯和滑石制成的可内聚性断裂的剥离层组成,其中在该中间层与该骨架层之间以及在该中间层与该剥离层之间布置有由马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯(MAH-PP)制成的结系层,该薄膜的特征进一步为由包含丙烯、乙烯和丁烯的单体的无规共聚物制成的最内密封层,该无规共聚物接枝有马来酸酐(MAH),其中该密封层的软化点至少比这些结系层的软化点低15℃至25℃之间。
该方法包括以下步骤:
(a)提供金属膜作为外部支撑层,并且提供用于该多层薄膜的粒状组分,特别是聚丙烯、马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯、聚酰胺、聚乙烯、滑石、马来酸酐,以及丙烯、乙烯和丁烯的单体;
(b)通过共挤出来制备该内部多层薄膜,其中将每层的组合物加热并在单独的挤出机中挤出;
(c)将优选由马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯制成的粘接层施加到该薄膜上,并使所述粘接层与所述支撑层接触;
(d)在1.5至3秒期间将该复合膜加热至165℃至175℃之间的活化温度,以将该薄膜永久地粘接至该支撑层。
当达到活化温度时,完成根据本发明的最后一个方法步骤。之后,通常将复合膜冷却并卷起以形成卷材。
复合膜的内部多层薄膜可以作为共挤出吹塑膜生产,该共挤出吹塑膜沿着挤出管切割以形成平坦膜。优选地,在将多层薄膜从同心喷嘴拉出之前,将各层的组合物在单独的挤出机中加热并在吹头内分层。
可以通过使用中间结系层将内部多层薄膜挤出到支撑层上来将内部多层薄膜层叠至外部支撑层上,其中该结系层可以是支撑层与挤出的热的多层薄膜之间连续提供的漆、MAH-PP或粘合剂。
密封层所需的无规共聚物的组分优选在单一挤出机中混合、加热并挤出。在优选的实施例中,用于内聚性断裂的剥离层的组分也被预混合或预配混并造粒。在另外的优选实施例中,在加热和挤出所述单个层之前,将马来酸酐组分适当地接枝到各个单独的聚合物组分上。内部多层薄膜的每个单独层的组成对应于针对复合膜指示的规格。
当从密封表面剥离可能设置有拉片的复合膜时,剥离层内聚性断裂,并且一部分剥离层作为“足迹”留在密封表面上。这个足迹可以用作首次打开的证明。
被包封的中间层改善了复合膜的其他层的耐腐蚀性,特别是抵抗被包装在容器中的酸性产品和油腻产品中的组分的迁移。
图1示意性地示出了根据本发明的复合膜的结构;
图2示意性地示出了穿过盖环的截面和容器的开口区域,复合膜密封到该盖环上;
图3示意性地示出了穿过容器的开口区域的截面,该容器具有内侧弯曲凸缘和密封到所述凸缘的外侧上的复合膜。

可密封且可剥离的复合膜1主要由金属膜制成的支撑层30(图1所示的顶层)和通过使用粘接层28而层叠至金属膜上的内部多层薄膜20组成。内部多层薄膜20具有依次布置和共挤出的层21、22、23、24、25、26的结构,其中当将复合膜1用作容器的封闭件时,最内层、即密封层26(图1所示的底层)指向容器10的或待连接到容器10上的盖环12的具有密封表面11的边沿。骨架层21指向复合膜1的外部支撑层30。
可以将内部多层薄膜20挤出层叠在外部支撑层30上,其中在外部骨架层21与挤出的内部多层薄膜20之间连续地提供粘接层。另一方面,可以使用例如粘合剂在单独的工艺步骤中将内部多层薄膜20层叠至支撑层30。
内部多层薄膜20的中间层23被各侧上——所述中间层23的顶部和底部——的两个结系层22、24包封。当复合膜用作容器封闭件时,这种包封保护了由吸湿性聚酰胺制成的中间层23免受来自容器10内部的水分以及来自外部的水分的影响。来自容器10内部的水分的量取决于容器的内容物,特别是取决于被包装在容器10内的食物的种类。
可内聚性断裂的剥离层25的顶侧紧靠通过结系防潮层24连接的被包封的中间层23的底侧。内部多层薄膜20紧靠可内聚性断裂的剥离层25的底部具有最内密封层26。
在图2中,示出了具有珠状边缘13的盖环12,用于卷绕到容器10的开口边缘上。盖环12具有环形的周向密封表面11,该周向密封表面从珠状边缘13水平向内突出。在密封表面由金属制成的情况下,其优选为抛光表面。
设置有拉片14的复合膜1被密封到密封表面11上。当剥离复合膜1时,剥离层25内聚性断裂,并且一部分剥离层25可能粘在容器边沿或盖环上并且在密封表面11上用作“足迹”。
在图3中,密封表面11是容器10的一体部分。提供密封表面11的密封凸缘形成为容器套筒的向内弯曲边沿,即,具有密封表面11的密封凸缘被设计为水平向内延伸的环形凸缘。在密封表面由金属制成的情况下,密封表面11优选为抛光的金属表面。如上面对于盖环12所描述的,在从容器10上剥离复合膜1之后,剥离层25或其至少一部分可能粘在容器边沿上并在密封表面11上用作“足迹”。
测试结果
已经使用本发明的复合膜来封闭由马口铁制成的容器,其中所包装的物品是pH值为2的酸。所得的保存期限,即在没有显示由复合膜制成的盖的任何干扰的情况下的储存时间,超过一年。
已经使用本发明的复合膜来封闭由马口铁制成的容器,其中所包装的物品是pH值为3的酸。所得的保存期限,即在没有显示由复合膜制成的盖的任何干扰的情况下的储存时间,超过两年。
另外,与EP 2 678 154 B1中描述的复合膜相比,报废率改善了95%。
因此,本发明至少提供了以下各项:
1.一种用于通过将复合膜(1)密封在容器(10)的或待连接到容器(10)上的盖环(12)的周向密封表面(11)上来封闭该容器(10)的复合膜(1),该复合膜(1)包括由金属膜制成的外部支撑层(30)和通过使用粘接层(28)而层叠至该外部支撑层(30)上的内部多层薄膜(20),
其特征在于,
该内部多层薄膜(20)具有从外至内的连续层结构,该连续层结构由聚丙烯制成的骨架层(21)、由部分结晶的聚酰胺制成的中间层(23)和由聚丙烯、聚乙烯和滑石制成的可内聚性断裂的剥离层(25)组成,其中在该中间层(23)与该骨架层(21)之间以及在该中间层(23)与该剥离层(25)之间布置有由马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯(MAH-PP)制成的结系层(22,24),该薄膜进一步具有由包含丙烯、乙烯和丁烯的单体的无规共聚物制成的最内密封层(26),该无规共聚物接枝有马来酸酐(MAH),其中该密封层(26)的软化点至少比这些结系层(22,24)的软化点低15℃至25℃之间。
2.根据项1所述的复合膜(1),其特征在于,这些结系层(22,24)由接枝有马来酸酐(MAH)的均聚聚丙烯制成。
3.根据项1所述的复合膜(1),其特征在于,该密封层(26)的软化点在140℃至145℃之间,并且这些结系层(22,24)的软化点在160℃至165℃之间。
4.根据项1所述的复合膜(1),其特征在于,该中间层(23)的软化点在185℃至220℃之间。
5.根据项1所述的复合膜(1),其特征在于,该骨架层(21)由软化点在155℃至170℃范围内的均聚聚丙烯制成。
6.根据项1所述的复合膜(1),其特征在于,布置在该外部骨架层(21)与该支撑层(30)之间的该粘接层(28)由马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯、漆或粘合剂制成。
7.根据项1所述的复合膜(1),其特征在于,该中间层(23)的部分结晶的聚酰胺是PA 6.6或PA 66.6。
8.根据项1所述的复合膜(1),其特征在于,该外部支撑层(30)是厚度为20至160μm、尤其为30至80μm的铝膜。
9.根据项1所述的复合膜(1),其特征在于,该骨架层(21)以及该中间层(23)的厚度为8至12μm,该剥离层(25)的厚度为10至18μm,这些结系层(22,24)各自为3.5至4.5μm厚,并且该密封层(26)的厚度在2.8至3.2μm之间。

13.根据项12所述的复合膜(1)的用途,其中,将该容器(10)或至少该盖环(12)加热到至少该密封层(26)的软化点,然后将具有环境温度的该复合膜(1)压在该容器(10)的或该盖环(12)的周向密封表面(11)上。
14.一种生产用于通过将复合膜(1)密封在容器(10)的或待连接到容器(10)上的盖环(12)的周向密封表面(11)上来封闭该容器(10)的复合膜(1)的方法,该复合膜(1)包括由金属膜制成的外部支撑层(30)和通过使用粘接层(28)而层叠至该外部支撑层(30)上的内部多层薄膜(20),其中该内部多层薄膜(20)具有从外至内的连续层结构,该连续层结构由聚丙烯制成的骨架层(21)、由部分结晶的聚酰胺制成的中间层(23)和由聚丙烯、聚乙烯和滑石制成的可内聚性断裂的剥离层(25)组成,其中在该中间层(23)与该骨架层(21)之间以及在该中间层(23)与该剥离层(25)之间布置有由马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯(MAH-PP)制成的结系层(22,24),该薄膜进一步具有由包含丙烯、乙烯和丁烯的单体的无规共聚物制成的最内密封层(26),该无规共聚物接枝有马来酸酐(MAH),其中该密封层(26)的软化点至少比这些结系层(22,24)的软化点低15℃至25℃之间,其中,该方法包括以下步骤:

(d)在1.5至3秒期间将该复合膜(1)加热至165℃至175℃之间的活化温度,以将该内部多层薄膜(20)永久地粘接至该支撑层(30)。
15.根据项14所述的方法,其特征在于,该复合膜(1)是吹塑的。

Claims (17)

1.一种用于通过将复合膜(1)密封在容器(10)的或待连接到容器(10)上的盖环(12)的周向密封表面(11)上来封闭该容器(10)的复合膜(1),该复合膜(1)包括由金属膜制成的外部支撑层(30)和通过使用粘接层(28)而层叠至该外部支撑层(30)上的内部多层薄膜(20),
其特征在于,
该内部多层薄膜(20)具有从外至内的连续层结构,该连续层结构由聚丙烯制成的骨架层(21)、由部分结晶的聚酰胺制成的中间层(23)和由聚丙烯、聚乙烯和滑石制成的可内聚性断裂的剥离层(25)组成,其中在该中间层(23)与该骨架层(21)之间以及在该中间层(23)与该剥离层(25)之间布置有由马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯(MAH-PP)制成的结系层,该薄膜进一步具有由包含丙烯、乙烯和丁烯的单体的无规共聚物制成的最内密封层(26),该无规共聚物接枝有马来酸酐(MAH),其中该密封层(26)的软化点至少比这些结系层的软化点低15℃至25℃之间,以及该中间层(23)的软化点在185℃至220℃之间。
