Abstract
本发明公开一种表面涂布液组合物及聚酯膜结构,其中表面涂布液组合物包括5wt%至20wt%的树脂组合物以及0.15wt%至5wt%的无机粒子分散液。树脂组合物包括0.01wt%至10wt%的聚酯树脂、2wt%至19wt%的丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂以及0.5wt%至10wt%的交联剂,无机粒子分散液包括多个第一无机填充粒子以及多个第二无机填充粒子,且第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径大于第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径。借此,表面涂布液组合物可于聚酯膜上形成具有特定表面粗糙度的表面涂层,以提高聚酯膜的应用性。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种表面涂布液组合物,特别是涉及一种用于提高聚酯膜的应用性的表面涂布液组合物,以及应用此表面涂布液组合物的聚酯膜结构。
背景技术
光学膜如反射膜、扩散膜及增亮膜,用途十分广泛,举例来说,可在液晶显示屏的背光模块中配置光学膜,以增强显示效果。双轴延伸的聚酯膜因为具有高透明性及优异的抗化学性和尺寸安定性,而可以被用来制作光学膜,只是聚酯膜本身的特性尚不足以满足各种光学膜的应用需求。
聚酯膜的特性除了与基材(如PET基材)的结晶度及基材中的添加物的种类和含量有关外,也会受到表面上的涂层影响。涂层中一般会添加填充粒子以达到所需的效果(如光学效果、雾面效果、滑性、抗沾黏效果),而填充粒子一旦发生聚集,就会在涂层上产生缺陷,如经延伸的涂层中留有空隙(void)或涂层的表面不平整,而不利于聚酯膜的应用。此外,聚酯膜通常会收成卷状,使用时再拉出一定长度;然而,在拉出聚酯膜的过程中,膜的表面容易沾黏而破损。此外,聚酯膜在使用上也需要良好的密着性,以避免与目标不完全贴合,而无法发挥预期的效果。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于,针对现有技术的不足提供一种表面涂布液组合物,其能提供聚酯膜应用所需的特性,特别是密着性和剥离性。本发明另提供一种应用此表面涂布液组合物的聚酯膜结构。
为了解决上述的技术问题,本发明所采用的其中一技术方案是,提供一种表面涂布液组合物,用以在一聚酯膜上形成一表面涂层,所述表面涂布液组合物包括5wt%至20wt%的树脂组合物以及0.15wt%至5wt%的无机粒子分散液。所述树脂组合物包括0.01wt%至10wt%的聚酯树脂、2wt%至19wt%的丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂以及0.5wt%至10wt%的交联剂;所述无机粒子分散液包括多个第一无机填充粒子以及多个第二无机填充粒子,所述第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径大于所述第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径;其中,所述第一无机填充粒子与所述第二无机填充粒子均匀分散在所述表面涂层中,以使所述表面涂层具有介于0.004微米至0.025微米之间的表面粗糙度Ra。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于100纳米至180纳米之间,且所述第一无机填充粒子的含量,基于所述表面涂层的总重,为0.05wt%至1wt%,所述第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于30纳米至80纳米之间,且所述第二无机填充粒子的含量,基于所述表面涂层的总重,为0.2wt%至3wt%。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述第一无机填充粒子与所述第二无机填充粒子的表面都修饰有环氧基硅烷,所述环氧基硅烷可选自2-(3,4环氧环己基乙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)甲基二乙氧基硅烷、以及3-氧丙氧基丙基三乙氧基硅烷之中的至少一种。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述第一无机填充粒子与所述第二无机填充粒子各为氧化硅、氧化钛、氧化锆、氧化铝、氢氧化铝、碳酸钙、碳酸镁或硫酸钡粒子。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述交联剂选自三聚氰胺树脂、三聚氰胺变性树脂、碳二酰亚胺系交联剂以及恶唑啉系交联剂中的至少一种。
为了解决上述的技术问题,本发明所采用的另外一技术方案是,提供一种聚酯膜结构,其包括一聚酯膜以及一表面涂层。所述表面涂层形成于所述聚酯膜的一表面上,其中所述表面涂层是由一具有前述组成的表面涂布液组合物所形成,且具有介于0.004微米至0.025微米之间的表面粗糙度Ra。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于100纳米至180纳米之间,且所述第一无机填充粒子占所述表面涂层总重的0.05wt%至1wt%,所述第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于30纳米至80纳米之间,且所述第二无机填充粒子占所述表面涂层总重的0.2wt%至3wt%。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述第一无机填充粒子与所述第二无机填充粒子的表面都修饰有环氧基硅烷,所述环氧基硅烷可选自2-(3,4环氧环己基乙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)甲基二乙氧基硅烷、以及3-氧丙氧基丙基三乙氧基硅烷之中的至少一种。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述表面涂层依JIS K7705测试标准所测得的可见光穿透率至少为90%,且雾度低于0.8%。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述聚酯膜的厚度介于12微米至300微米之间,所述表面涂层的厚度介于30纳米至150纳米之间。
本发明的其中一有益效果在于,本发明的表面涂布液组合物,其能通过“无机粒子分散液包括多个第一无机填充粒子及多个第二无机填充粒子,其中第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径大于第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径”以及“第一无机填充粒子与第二无机填充粒子均匀分散在表面涂层中,以使表面涂层具有介于0.004微米至0.025微米之间的表面粗糙度Ra”的技术特征,以提供聚酯膜应用所需的特性,例如高透明性、低雾度、良好的密着性和滑性。
更进一步来说,本发明的表面涂布液组合物在聚酯膜表面所形成的表面涂层,具有稳定良好的剥离性,从而聚酯膜容易在收成卷后拉出使用,且不会有任何的表面破损发生。此外,聚酯膜也具有良好的密着性,即对目标物(如光学胶)具有良好的附着能力,且能适应复杂的立体形状。

以下是通过特定的具体实施例来说明本发明所公开有关“表面涂布液组合物及聚酯膜结构”的实施方式,本领域技术人员可由本说明书所公开的内容了解本发明的优点与效果。本发明可通过其他不同的具体实施例加以施行或应用,本说明书中的各项细节也可基于不同观点与应用,在不背离本发明的构思下进行各种修改与变更。另外,本发明的附图仅为简单示意说明,并非依实际尺寸的描绘,事先声明。以下的实施方式将进一步详细说明本发明的相关技术内容,但所公开的内容并非用以限制本发明的保护范围。另外,本文中所使用的术语“或”,应视实际情况可能包括相关联的列出项目中的任一个或者多个的组合。

聚酯膜的用途十分广泛,至少包括扩散膜、增亮膜、抗反射膜及保护膜。因此,本发明提供一种表面涂布液组合物,用以提供聚酯膜应用所需的特性,例如高透明性、低雾度、良好的密着性和滑性。本发明的表面涂布液组合物包括5wt%至20wt%的树脂组合物及0.15wt%至5wt%的无机粒子分散液。值得注意的是,树脂组合物的含量的优选范围为5wt%至10wt%,例如6wt%、7wt%、8wt%或9wt%。无机粒子分散液的含量的优选范围为0.2wt%至2wt%,例如0.2wt%、0.45wt%、1wt%或2wt%。
参阅图1所示,表面涂布液组合物可以涂布液的形式使用,即表面涂布液组合物可以水作为溶媒,水的含量可为50wt%至85wt%,但不受限于此。进一步而言,可将表面涂布液组合物的涂布液涂布于一聚酯膜11的一面上,再以适当的温度进行热处理,使涂布液干燥固化而形成表面涂层12;并且,可根据实际需要进一步加工聚酯膜11,例如对聚酯膜11进行双轴拉伸,以获得所需的机械特性。
在本实施例中,表面涂布液组合物的树脂组合物包括:0.01wt%至10wt%的聚酯树脂、2wt%至19wt%的丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂及0.5wt%至10wt%的交联剂。树脂组合物的聚酯树脂为经改质的水性聚氨酯树脂(固形份为40%),其分子结构(如主链及侧链)中具有聚酯链段及水溶性基团的树脂,水溶性基团可举出SO3Na基团及SO3NH4基团。进一步而言,聚酯树脂的含量的优选范围为1wt%至6wt%,例如1wt%、2wt%、3wt%、4wt%、5wt%或6wt%。聚酯树脂可选自水溶性或水分散型聚酯树脂,其由特定的酸成分和醇成分聚合而成;酸成分选自含有磺酸基的二羧酸,具体可举出:磺酸基异酞酸、5-磺酸基异酞酸、2-磺酸基异酞酸及4-磺酸基异酞酸;醇成分具体可举出:乙二醇、二乙二醇、聚乙二醇、丙二醇、1,3-丙二醇、聚丙二醇、1,4-丁二醇、1,5-戊二醇、1,6-己二醇、环己烷-1,2-二醇、1,3-环己烷二甲醇、1,4-环己烷二甲醇及环己烷-1,4-二醇。
树脂组合物的丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂可被水性化,其中丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂的主链具有由多元异氰酸酯(polyisocyanate)与聚多元醇(polyol)所形成的基团及非离子基团,且侧链具有含磺酸基的阴离子基团、非离子基团及丙烯酸酯基团。值得注意的是,相较于未经改质的聚氨酯树脂,丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂在机械强度、耐紫外线、耐热性及耐水性等特性都得到了改善。进一步而言,丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂的含量可为3wt%、4wt%、5wt%、6wt%、7wt%、8wt%、9wt%、10wt%、11wt%、12wt%、13wt%、14wt%、15wt%、16wt%、17wt%或18wt%。丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂可由以下步骤制备而成:
(1)预聚物的制备:将15-25wt%的聚酯(醚)多元醇真空脱水后,加入装有搅拌器、温度计及冷凝管的反应器中;此后,以油浴加热反应器,待油浴温度达到70-80℃时,于反应器中加入5-12wt%的脂肪族二异氰酸酯进行合成反应。
(2)预聚物的稀释及扩链:预聚物反应2-3小时后,加入10-30wt%丙烯酸酯单体稀释降黏,持温85-90℃直到NCO理论当量比值(NCO/OH)为1.1-2.3,再加入乙二胺基乙磺酸钠(AAS)1.5-3.0wt%,继续反应25-40分钟。
(3)水分散:将步骤(2)所得的聚合物降温至室温后,在转速500rpm的高速剪切力下加入适量的去离子水35-55wt%,再加入计量的乙二胺0.1-0.5wt%进行扩链反应约30分钟,即可得到不含溶剂的磺酸盐型聚氨酯分散液。
(4)丙烯酸酯合成:向步骤(3)所得的聚氨酯分散液中加入0.3-1.0wt%的乳化剂十二烷基硫酸钠(SLS),混合形成乳化液后升温至50-70℃,再滴加0.01-0.10wt%的起始剂过硫酸铵水溶液(APS)进行丙烯酸酯的聚合,在聚合过程中持续升温至75-85℃并持温1-3小时;此后,降温至50-70℃,再加入0.01-0.08wt%的还原剂,即可得到丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂。
步骤(2)中加入的丙烯酸酯单体包括:90wt%至95wt%的含烷基的(甲基)丙烯酸酯、4wt%至9wt%的含羟基的(甲基)丙烯酸酯及1wt%至5wt%的含羧基的(甲基)丙烯酸酯。含烷基的(甲基)丙烯酸酯可选自由(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯、(甲基)丙烯酸乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸正丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸异丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸正辛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸异辛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸月桂酯、(甲基)丙烯酸十八酯、(甲基)丙烯酸环己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸甲氧基乙酯及(甲基)丙烯酸乙氧基甲酯中的至少一种;含羟基的(甲基)丙烯酸可选自由(甲基)丙烯酸-2-羟基乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸-4-羟基丁酯、丙烯酸氯-2-羟基丙酯、二乙二醇单甲基丙烯酸酯及烯丙醇中的至少一种;含羧基的(甲基)丙烯酸可选自由丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、衣康酸、丁烯酸、马来酸、富马酸及马来酸酐中的至少一种。
树脂组合物的交联剂可选自三聚氰胺树脂、三聚氰胺变性树脂、碳二酰亚胺系交联剂以及恶唑啉系交联剂中的至少一种。交联剂的含量可为1wt%、2wt%、3wt%、4wt%、5wt%、6wt%、7wt%、8wt%或9wt%。
本发明所称的处理剂,其选自含硅化合物、界面活性剂、高分子聚合物的一种以上组合物;其中含硅化合物包括硅烷化合物或聚硅烷化合物,包括乙烯基硅烷化合物、甲基丙烯酰氧基硅烷化合物、丙烯酰氧基硅烷化合物、环氧基硅烷化合物;界面活性剂包括中日公司之甲基苯硫酸铵盐、聚乙二醇壬酚醚硫酸铵盐、聚乙二醇壬酚醚硫酸钠盐、聚乙二醇辛酚醚铵盐、缩合聚乙二醇多环壬酚醚甲基丙烯酸硫酸酯或Uniqema的Maxemul 6106、6112等阴离子型界面活性剂;或盘亚公司的聚乙二醇壬烷酚醚、聚乙二醇烷基醚,中日公司的聚乙二醇硬酯酸醚、聚乙二醇壬酚醚、聚乙二醇辛酚醚、聚乙二醇癸基醚、聚乙二醇三癸基醚、聚乙二醇月桂醚或Uniqema的Maxemul 5010、5011等非离子型界面活性剂);高分子聚合物包括:含有聚酯成分、聚丙烯酸酯成分、聚氨酯成分的一种以上组合。
表面涂布液组合物的无机粒子分散液包括不同粒径的第一无机填充粒子及第二无机填充粒子,第一无机填充粒子与第二无机填充粒子各为氧化硅、氧化钛、氧化锆、氧化铝、氢氧化铝、碳酸钙、碳酸镁或硫酸钡粒子,且第一无机填充粒子的材质可以和第二无机填充粒子相同或不同。值得注意的是,第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于100纳米至180纳米之间,且第一无机填充粒子的含量为0.05wt%至0.3wt%;第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于30纳米至60纳米之间,且第二无机填充粒子的含量为0.1wt%至0.5wt%。借此,聚酯膜能兼顾不同的应用需求,例如提供光学作用、外观装饰作用及保护电子装置的屏幕。
第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径例如为110纳米、120纳米、130纳米、140纳米、150纳米、160纳米或170纳米;第一无机填充粒子的含量例如为0.1wt%、0.15wt%、0.2wt%或0.25wt%。第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径例如为35纳米、40纳米、45纳米、50纳米或55纳米;第二无机填充粒子的含量例如为0.15wt%、0.2wt%、0.25wt%、0.3wt%、0.35wt%、0.4wt%或0.45wt%。
复参阅图1所示,表面涂布液组合物在聚酯膜11表面所形成的表面涂层12,具有第一无机填充粒子121与第二无机填充粒子122均匀分散在其中,而具有介于0.004微米至0.025微米之间的表面粗糙度Ra。较佳地,第一无机填充粒子121与第二无机填充粒子122都修饰有环氧基硅烷(epoxy-functional silanes coupling agents),以进一步提高在涂层中的分散性;环氧基硅烷可选自2-(3,4环氧环己基乙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)甲基二乙氧基硅烷、以及3-氧丙氧基丙基三乙氧基硅烷之中的至少一种。借此,聚酯膜11具有稳定良好的剥离性,从而聚酯膜11容易在收成卷后拉出使用,且不会有任何的表面破损发生。此外,聚酯膜11也具有良好的密着性,即对目标物(如光学胶)具有良好的附着能力。
表面涂布液组合物的功能性添加剂可选自助剂、触媒及共溶剂中的至少一种,但不限于此;添加助剂有助于提升涂层的湿润性和平坦性,触媒可控制涂层架桥的反应速率,共溶剂可控制液态成分的挥发速率。助剂可为含硅、含氟或含硅氟的助剂;含硅助剂具体可举出BYK公司的产品BYK-307、BYK-325、BYK-331、BYK-380N及BYK-381;含氟助剂具体可举出3M公司的产品FC-4430及FC-4432、杜邦公司的产品Zonyl FSN-100、大金公司产品的DSX;含硅氟的助剂具体可举出BYK公司的产品BYK346、BYK347及BYK348。另外,触媒可为无机物质、盐类、有机物质、碱性物质或酸性物质;共溶剂可为甲醇、乙醇、正丙醇、异丙醇、异丁醇或丁基纤维素。然而,上述所举的例子只是其中一可行的实施例而并非用以限定本发明。
复参阅图1所示,本发明还提供一种聚酯膜结构1其包括一聚酯膜11及一表面涂层12,其中表面涂层12形成于聚酯膜11的一表面上。进一步而言,聚酯膜11为一聚酯树脂所形成,聚酯树脂可举出:聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯膜(PET)、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇脂(PEN)及聚碳酸酯(PC)。表面涂层12是由一具有前述组成的表面涂布液组合物所形成,表面涂层12具有不同粒径的第一无机填充粒子121与第二无机填充粒子122均匀分散在其中,而具有介于0.004微米至0.025微米之间的表面粗糙度Ra。
在本实施例中,聚酯膜的厚度介于12微米至300微米之间,表面涂层12的厚度介于30纳米至150纳米之间,但不限于此。第一无机填充粒子121的平均粒径介于100纳米至180纳米之间,且第一无机填充粒子121占表面涂层12总重的0.05wt%至1wt%;第二无机填充粒子122的平均粒径介于30纳米至80纳米之间,且第二无机填充粒子122占表面涂层12总重的0.2wt%至3wt%。
值得注意的是,聚酯膜结构1能适应复杂的立体形状,例如,如图2所示,聚酯膜结构1可以完全贴合于电子装置2的曲面屏幕21上,其间无缝隙存在。此外,表面涂层12具有高透明性及低雾度,其依JIS K7705测试标准所测得的可见光穿透率至少为90%,且雾度低于0.8%。
可见光穿透率及雾度测试:采用日商Tokyo Denshoku的测试装置(型号为TC-HIIIDPK),依JIS K7705测试标准,测试表面涂层12的可见光穿透率及雾度;可见光穿透率越高、雾度值越低,代表表面涂层12的透明性越佳。
表1中列出本发明的表面涂布液组合物的几个代表性实验例,然而,本发明不以上述所举的例子为限。
实施例的有益效果
本发明的其中一有益效果在于,本发明的表面涂布液组合物,其能通过“无机粒子分散液包括多个第一无机填充粒子及多个第二无机填充粒子,其中第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径大于第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径”以及“第一无机填充粒子与第二无机填充粒子均匀分散在表面涂层中,以使表面涂层具有介于0.004微米至0.025微米之间的表面粗糙度Ra”的技术特征,以提供聚酯膜应用所需的特性,例如高透明性、低雾度、良好的密着性和滑性。

更进一步来说,第一无机填充粒子与第二无机填充粒子都修饰有环氧基硅烷(epoxy-functional silane coupling agent),以进一步提高在涂层中的分散性。

Claims (10)
1.一种表面涂布液组合物,用以在一聚酯膜上形成一表面涂层,其特征在于,所述表面涂布液组合物包括5wt%至20wt%的树脂组合物以及0.15wt%至5wt%的无机粒子分散液;
其中,所述树脂组合物包括0.01wt%至10wt%的聚酯树脂、2wt%至19wt%的丙烯酸酯接枝改质的聚氨酯树脂以及0.5wt%至10wt%的交联剂;
其中,所述无机粒子分散液包括多个第一无机填充粒子以及多个第二无机填充粒子,所述第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径大于所述第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径;
其中,所述第一无机填充粒子与所述第二无机填充粒子均匀分散在所述表面涂层中,以使所述表面涂层具有介于0.004微米至0.025微米之间的表面粗糙度Ra。
2.根据权利要求1所述的表面涂布液组合物,其特征在于,所述第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于100纳米至180纳米之间,且所述第一无机填充粒子的含量,基于所述表面涂层的总重,为0.05wt%至1wt%,所述第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于30纳米至80纳米之间,且所述第二无机填充粒子的含量,基于所述表面涂层的总重,为0.2wt%至3wt%。
3.根据权利要求2所述的表面涂布液组合物,其特征在于,所述第一无机填充粒子与所述第二无机填充粒子的表面都修饰有环氧基硅烷,所述环氧基硅烷可选自2-(3,4环氧环己基乙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)甲基二乙氧基硅烷、以及3-氧丙氧基丙基三乙氧基硅烷之中的至少一种。
4.根据权利要求1所述的表面涂布液组合物,其特征在于,所述第一无机填充粒子与所述第二无机填充粒子各为氧化硅、氧化钛、氧化锆、氧化铝、氢氧化铝、碳酸钙、碳酸镁或硫酸钡粒子。
5.根据权利要求1所述的表面涂布液组合物,其特征在于,所述交联剂选自三聚氰胺树脂、三聚氰胺变性树脂、碳二酰亚胺系交联剂以及恶唑啉系交联剂中的至少一种。
6.一种聚酯膜结构,其特征在于,所述聚酯膜结构包括:
一聚酯膜;以及
一表面涂层,形成于所述聚酯膜的一表面上,其中所述表面涂层是根据权利要求1所述的表面涂布液组合物所形成,且具有介于0.004微米至0.025微米之间的表面粗糙度Ra。
7.根据权利要求6所述的聚酯膜结构,其特征在于,所述第一无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于100纳米至180纳米之间,且所述第一无机填充粒子占所述表面涂层总重的0.05wt%至1wt%,所述第二无机填充粒子的平均粒径介于30纳米至80纳米之间,且所述第二无机填充粒子占所述表面涂层总重的0.2wt%至3wt%。
8.根据权利要求7所述的聚酯膜结构,其特征在于,所述第一无机填充粒子与所述第二无机填充粒子的表面都修饰有环氧基硅烷,所述环氧基硅烷可选自2-(3,4环氧环己基乙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)三甲氧基硅烷、(3-环氧丙氧基丙基)甲基二乙氧基硅烷、以及3-氧丙氧基丙基三乙氧基硅烷之中的至少一种。
9.根据权利要求8所述的聚酯膜结构,其特征在于,所述表面涂层依JIS K7705测试标准所测得的可见光穿透率至少为90%,且雾度低于0.8%。
10.根据权利要求6所述的聚酯膜结构,其特征在于,所述聚酯膜的厚度介于12微米至300微米之间,所述表面涂层的厚度介于30纳米至150纳米之间。
