Abstract
提供一种在能够降低电阻的同时,循环特性优异且能够抑制由非水电解液的反应导致的产气的蓄电设备用的非水电解液和蓄电设备。一种蓄电设备用非水电解液,其特征在于,其为在非水溶剂中溶解电解质而成的蓄电设备用非水电解液,前述电解质为溶解于前述非水溶剂的锂盐,且所述蓄电设备用非水电解液含有下述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物。(式中的符号的定义如说明书中记载的那样。)

技术领域
本发明涉及锂离子二次电池等蓄电设备用非水电解液。
背景技术
近年来,随着手机、笔记本电脑等所代表的便携用电子终端等各种便携电子设备的普及,二次电池作为它们的电源而发挥出重要的作用。作为这些二次电池,可列举出铅蓄电池、镍-镉电池等水溶液系电池、非水电解液电池。其中,由能够吸储、释放锂等的正极和负极以及非水电解液构成的非水电解液二次电池在电压高且具有高能量密度、安全性优异、环境问题等方面,与其它二次电池相比具有各种优点。
作为目前得以实用化的非水电解液二次电池,可列举出例如使用锂与过渡金属的复合氧化物作为正极活性物质,且使用能够掺杂/脱掺杂锂的材料作为负极活性物质的锂离子二次电池。锂离子二次电池的负极活性物质中,作为具有优异的循环特性的材料,可列举出碳材料。
另一方面,作为非水电解液,可使用在非质子性有机溶剂中混合有LiBF4、LiPF6、LiClO4、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2CF2CF3)2等锂盐的非水溶液等。对于非水电解液而言,寻求降低其电阻而提高锂离子的传导性,此外寻求高寿命化,即改善即使在反复充电、放电后也抑制电池容量的降低、维持高容量的所谓循环特性。
进而,非水电解液若在充电状态下暴露于高温,则容易与锂和过渡金属的复合氧化物发生反应,产生气体,其结果,存在因电池的膨胀和内部电阻的上升而产生容量劣化的问题。因此,期望开发出高温时的气体产生量少的非水电解液。
专利文献1中记载了一种蓄电设备用非水电解液,其特征在于,其是在非水溶剂中溶解锂盐而成的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其含有下述式(2)所示的有机砜化合物。

(X、Y、Z各自独立地是亚苯基或碳原子数为1~4的亚烷基。R是氢原子、苯基或碳原子数为1~6的烷基。m、n、p、q、t各自独立地为0或1~4的整数,p+q≥1,m+n≥1。)
根据专利文献1的非水电解液,与现有技术相比,能够降低非水电解液的电阻,并且,在反复充电、放电后也能够维持高容量,但在寻求非水电解液的特性的进一步提高。

发明内容
发明要解决的问题
本发明的目的在于,提供能够在降低非水电解液的电阻的同时,在反复多次充电、放电后也能够维持高容量、且能够抑制由非水电解液的反应导致的产气的蓄电设备用非水电解液。
用于解决问题的方案
本发明人进行深入研究的结果发现:含有下述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物的非水电解液对于达成上述目的而言是极其有效的,从而完成了本发明。
即,本发明具有下述主旨。
1.一种蓄电设备用非水电解液,其特征在于,其是在非水溶剂中溶解电解质而成的蓄电设备用非水电解液,前述电解质为溶解于前述非水溶剂的锂盐,且所述蓄电设备用非水电解液含有下述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物。
(式中,A1、A2、A3和A4各自独立地为-X-SO2-CH=CH2、氢原子、取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基、烯基、炔基或烷氧基、取代或非取代的碳原子数6~10的芳基、或者-O-SiR’1R’2R’3(R’1、R’2和R’3各自独立地为氢原子、或者取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基)。其中,A1、A2、A3和A4中的至少一者为-X-SO2-CH=CH2。
X和Y各自独立地为单键、取代或非取代的亚苯基、或者取代或非取代的碳原子数为1~4的亚烷基。
R选自下述基团。
R1、R2、R3和R4各自独立地为氢原子、取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基、烯基、炔基或烷氧基、取代或非取代的碳原子数6~10的芳基、或者-O-SiR’1R’2R’3(R’1、R’2和R’3表示与上述相同的含义)。)
2.根据上述1所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,式(1)的R选自下述基团。
(式中,R1为取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基、烯基、炔基或烷氧基、或者-O-SiR’1R’2R’3(R’1、R’2和R’3表示与上述相同的含义),R2和R3各自独立地为取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基或烷氧基、或者乙烯基,R4为取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基、烯基、炔基或烷氧基、或者-O-SiR’1R’2R’3(R’1、R’2和R’3表示与上述相同的含义)。)
3.根据上述1或2所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,A1和A2为-X-SO2-CH=CH2。
4.根据上述1~3中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,Y为单键。
5.根据上述1~4中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,X是取代或非取代的碳原子数为1~4的亚烷基。
6.根据上述1~5中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其含有0.0001~10质量%的前述有机砜化合物。
7.根据上述1~6中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,前述非水溶剂含有链状碳酸酯、饱和环状碳酸酯和不饱和环状碳酸酯。
8.根据上述7所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,链状碳酸酯、饱和环状碳酸酯和不饱和环状碳酸酯的含量分别为30~80质量%、10~50质量%和0.01~5质量%。
9.根据上述1~8中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,前述锂盐为选自由LiPF6、LiBF4、LiCF3SO3、LiN(FSO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)2、LiN(C2F5SO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)(C2F5SO2)和LiN(CF3SO2)(C4F9SO2)组成的组中的至少1种锂盐。
10.根据上述1~9中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其还含有选自由含硫化合物(不包括前述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物)、环状酸酐、羧酸化合物、含硅化合物和含硼化合物组成的组中的至少1种添加物。
11.一种蓄电设备,其使用上述1~10中任一项所述的非水电解液。
12.根据上述11所述的蓄电设备,其中,蓄电设备为锂二次电池。
发明的效果
本发明的非水电解液在能够降低非水电解液的电阻的同时,在反复多次充电、放电后也能够维持高容量,且能够抑制由非水电解液的反应导致的产气。
具体实施方式
<非水溶剂>
本发明的非水电解液中使用的非水溶剂可以使用各种溶剂。例如,优选为非质子性极性溶剂。其具体例可列举出碳酸亚乙酯、碳酸亚丙酯、碳酸1,2-亚丁酯、碳酸2,3-亚丁酯、碳酸1,2-亚戊酯、碳酸2,3-亚戊酯、三氟甲基碳酸亚乙酯、氟代碳酸亚乙酯、4,5-二氟碳酸亚乙酯等环状碳酸酯;γ-丁内酯、γ-戊内酯等内酯;环丁砜等环状砜;四氢呋喃、二噁烷等环状醚;碳酸甲乙酯、碳酸二甲酯、碳酸二乙酯、碳酸甲基丙基酯、碳酸甲基异丙基酯、碳酸二丙酯、碳酸甲基丁基酯、碳酸二丁酯、碳酸乙基丙基酯、碳酸甲基三氟乙基酯等链状碳酸酯;乙腈等腈;二甲基醚等链状醚;丙酸甲酯等链状羧酸酯;二甲氧基乙烷等链状二醇醚;1,1,2,2-四氟乙基-2,2,3,3-四氟丙基醚(CF2HCF2CH2OCF2CF2H)、1,1,2,2-四氟乙基-2,2,3,3,3-五氟丙基醚(CF3CF2CH2OCF2CF2H)、乙氧基-2,2,2-三氟乙氧基-乙烷(CF3CH2OCH2CH2OCH2CH3)等氟取代醚等。它们可单独使用1种,或者组合使用2种以上。
作为非水溶剂,从离子传导性的观点出发,更优选使用环状碳酸酯、链状碳酸酯等碳酸酯系溶剂。作为碳酸酯系溶剂,进一步优选组合使用环状碳酸酯和链状碳酸酯。作为环状碳酸酯,优选为上述之中的碳酸亚乙酯、碳酸亚丙酯或氟代碳酸亚乙酯。作为链状碳酸酯,优选为上述之中的碳酸甲乙酯、碳酸二甲酯或碳酸二乙酯。使用碳酸酯系溶剂时,从改善电池物性的观点出发,可根据需要进一步添加腈系化合物、砜系化合物等其它的非水溶剂。
作为非水溶剂,在本发明中特别优选含有链状碳酸酯、饱和环状碳酸酯和不饱和环状碳酸酯。含有这三种碳酸酯时,在发挥本发明效果的方面特别优选。关于本发明所使用的非水溶剂,在非水电解液中优选分别包含30~80质量%、10~50质量%和0.01~5质量%的链状碳酸酯、饱和环状碳酸酯和不饱和环状碳酸酯,其中,更优选分别包含50~70质量%、20~30质量%和0.1~2质量%。
链状碳酸酯小于30质量%时,电解液的粘度上升,并且在低温下发生凝固,因此,得不到充分的特性。反之,多于80质量%时,锂盐的解离度/溶解度降低,电解液的离子电导率降低。饱和环状碳酸酯小于10质量%时,锂盐的解离度/溶解度降低,电解液的离子电导率降低。反之,多于50质量%时,电解液的粘度上升,进而,在低温下发生凝固,因此,得不到充分的特性。
此外,不饱和环状碳酸酯小于0.01质量%时,不会在负极表面形成良好的覆膜,因此,循环特性降低。反之,多于5质量%时,例如呈现在高温保存时电解液容易产气的状态,呈现电池内的压力上升等在实用上不优选的状态。
作为本发明中使用的链状碳酸酯,可列举出例如碳原子数为3~9的链状碳酸酯。具体而言,可列举出碳酸二甲酯、碳酸二乙酯、碳酸甲乙酯、碳酸二正丙酯、碳酸二异丙酯、碳酸正丙基异丙基酯、碳酸二正丁酯、碳酸二叔丁酯、碳酸正丁基异丁基酯、碳酸正丁基叔丁基酯、碳酸异丁基叔丁基酯、碳酸甲乙酯、碳酸甲基正丙基酯、碳酸正丁基甲基酯、碳酸异丁基甲基酯、碳酸叔丁基甲基酯、碳酸乙基正丙基酯、碳酸正丁基乙基酯、碳酸异丁基乙基酯、碳酸叔丁基乙基酯、碳酸正丁基正丙基酯、碳酸异丁基正丙基酯、碳酸叔丁基正丙基酯、碳酸正丁基异丙基酯、碳酸异丁基异丙基酯、碳酸叔丁基异丙基酯等。这些之中,优选为碳酸二甲酯、碳酸二乙酯或碳酸甲乙酯,但没有特别限定。此外,这些链状碳酸酯可以混合两种以上。
作为本发明中使用的饱和环状碳酸酯,可列举出例如碳酸亚乙酯、碳酸亚丙酯、碳酸亚丁酯、氟代碳酸亚乙酯等。其中,更优选为碳酸亚乙酯、碳酸亚丙酯或氟代碳酸亚乙酯。通过使用碳酸亚丙酯,能够提供在宽泛的温度范围内稳定的非水电解液。这些饱和环状碳酸酯可以混合两种以上。
此外,作为本发明中使用的不饱和环状碳酸酯,可列举出下述通式(3)所示的碳酸亚乙烯酯衍生物。
上述通式(3)中,R5和R6各自独立地为氢原子、卤原子或任选包含卤原子的碳原子数1~12的烷基。其中,R5和R6优选为氢原子(式(3)的化合物为碳酸亚乙烯酯)。
作为上述碳酸亚乙烯酯衍生物的具体例,可列举出碳酸亚乙烯酯、氟代碳酸亚乙烯酯、甲基碳酸亚乙烯酯、氟甲基碳酸亚乙烯酯、乙基碳酸亚乙烯酯、丙基碳酸亚乙烯酯、丁基碳酸亚乙烯酯、二甲基碳酸亚乙烯酯、二乙基碳酸亚乙烯酯、二丙基碳酸亚乙烯酯等,但不限定于它们。
这些化合物之中,碳酸亚乙烯酯是有效的,且成本上也有利。需要说明的是,上述碳酸亚乙烯酯衍生物可以单独使用1种,也可以混合使用。
作为本发明中使用的其它不饱和环状碳酸酯,可列举出下述通式(4)所示的烯基碳酸亚乙酯。
上述式(4)中,R7~R10各自独立地为氢原子、卤原子、任选包含卤原子的碳原子数1~12的烃基、或者碳原子数2~12的烯基,其中至少一者为碳原子数2~12的烯基。其中,优选R7~R10中的一者为乙烯基,且其它为氢原子的烯基碳酸亚乙酯(式(4)的化合物为4-乙烯基碳酸亚乙酯)。
作为上述烯基碳酸亚乙酯的具体例,可列举出4-乙烯基碳酸亚乙酯、4-乙烯基-4-甲基碳酸亚乙酯、4-乙烯基-4-乙基碳酸亚乙酯、4-乙烯基-4-正丙基碳酸亚乙酯等。
本发明所使用的非水溶剂中,除了包含上述成分之外,也可以包含其它的各种溶剂。作为这些其它的各种溶剂,可列举出例如环状羧酸酯、碳原子数3~9的链状酯、碳原子数3~6的链状醚等。这些其它的各种溶剂在非水电解液中优选含有0.2~10质量%、特别优选含有0.5~5质量%。
在环状羧酸酯之中,作为碳原子数3~9的内酯化合物,可列举出例如γ-丁内酯、γ-戊内酯、γ-己内酯、ε-己内酯等。这些之中,更优选为γ-丁内酯或γ-戊内酯,但没有特别限定。此外,这些环状羧酸酯可以混合两种以上。
作为碳原子数3~9的链状酯,可列举出例如乙酸甲酯、乙酸乙酯、乙酸正丙酯、乙酸异丙酯、乙酸正丁酯、乙酸异丁酯、乙酸叔丁酯、丙酸甲酯、丙酸乙酯、丙酸正丙酯、丙酸异丙酯、丙酸正丁酯、丙酸异丁酯、丙酸叔丁酯。这些之中,优选为乙酸乙酯、丙酸甲酯或丙酸乙酯。
作为碳原子数3~6的链状醚,可列举出二甲氧基甲烷、二甲氧基乙烷、二乙氧基甲烷、二乙氧基乙烷、乙氧基甲氧基甲烷、乙氧基甲氧基乙烷等。这些之中,更优选为二甲氧基乙烷或二乙氧基乙烷。
进而,可以使用苯甲腈、乙腈、四氢呋喃、2-甲基四氢呋喃、二氧戊环、4-甲基二氧戊环、N,N-二甲基甲酰胺、二甲基乙酰胺、二甲基亚砜、二噁烷、环丁砜、二氯乙烷、氯苯、硝基苯等。
<锂盐>
作为本发明的非水电解液的溶质,可以使用锂盐。锂盐只要可溶于上述非水溶剂就没有特别限定。作为其具体例,如下所示。
(A)无机锂盐:
LiPF6、LiAsF6、LiBF4等无机氟化物盐;LiClO4、LiBrO4、LiIO4等高卤酸盐等。
(B)有机锂盐:
LiCF3SO3等有机磺酸盐;LiN(FSO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)2、LiN(C2F5SO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)(C4F9SO2)等全氟烷基磺酸酰亚胺盐;LiC(CF3SO2)3等全氟烷基磺酸甲基化物盐;LiPF(CF3)5、LiPF2(CF3)4、LiPF3(CF3)3、LiPF2(C2F5)4、LiPF3(C2F5)3、LiPF(正-C3F7)5、LiPF2(正-C3F7)4、LiPF3(正-C3F7)3、LiPF(异-C3F7)5、LiPF2(异-C3F7)4、LiPF3(异-C3F7)3、LiB(CF3)4、LiBF(CF3)3、LiBF2(CF3)2、LiBF3(CF3)、LiB(C2F5)4、LiBF(C2F5)3、LiBF2(C2F5)2、LiBF3(C2F5)、LiB(正-C3F7)4、LiBF(正-C3F7)3、LiBF2(正-C3F7)2、LiBF3(正-C3F7)、LiB(异-C3F7)4、LiBF(异-C3F7)3、LiBF2(异-C3F7)2、LiBF3(异-C3F7)等一部分氟原子被全氟烷基取代而得的无机氟化物盐氟代磷酸盐、全氟烷基的含氟有机锂盐。
本发明中,更优选为上述之中的LiPF6、LiBF4、LiN(CF3SO2)2、LiN(C2F5SO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)(C2F5SO2)、LiN(CF3SO2)(C4F9SO2)。此外,这些锂盐可以混合两种以上。
本发明的非水电解液的溶质、即锂盐的浓度优选为0.5~3摩尔/升、特别适合为0.7~2摩尔/升。若该浓度过低,则因绝对性的浓度不足而导致非水电解液的离子传导率变得不充分。若浓度过高,则因粘度上升而导致离子传导率降低,此外,还会产生容易在低温下发生析出等问题,因此,非水电解液电池的性能降低,故不优选。
<有机砜化合物>
向本发明的非水电解液中添加下述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物。
(式中,A1、A2、A3和A4各自独立地为-X-SO2-CH=CH2、氢原子、取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基、烯基、炔基或烷氧基、取代或非取代的碳原子数6~10的芳基、或者-O-SiR’1R’2R’3(R’1、R’2和R’3各自独立地为氢原子、或者取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基)。其中,A1、A2、A3和A4中的至少一者为-X-SO2-CH=CH2。
X和Y各自独立地为单键、取代或非取代的亚苯基、或者取代或非取代的碳原子数为1~4的亚烷基。
R选自下述基团。
R1、R2、R3和R4各自独立地为氢原子、取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基、烯基、炔基或烷氧基、取代或非取代的碳原子数6~10的芳基、或者-O-SiR’1R’2R’3(R’1、R’2和R’3表示与上述相同的含义)。)
其中,式(1)的R优选选自下述基团。

需要说明的是,作为A1、A2、A3、A4、R1、R2、R3、R4、R’1、R’2、R’3、X和Y的取代基,可列举出例如氟原子、氯原子、溴原子、碘原子等卤原子;羟基、烷氧基、酰基、酰氧基、羧基等。该取代基优选为氟原子。
作为上述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物的优选具体例,可列举出下述化合物。

上述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物通过已知的方法来制造。例如,通过使具有羟基和乙烯基磺酰基的化合物与对应的酸酐、对应的卤化物发生反应来制造。
本发明的非水电解液中的式(1)所示的有机砜化合物的含量优选为0.0001~10质量%、进一步优选为0.001~2质量%、特别优选为0.01~1质量%。含量小于0.0001质量%时,降低电阻的效果变小。另一方面,超过10质量%时,覆膜电阻变高,寿命性能变差,故不优选。
<添加物质>
本发明的非水电解液中,出于改善蓄电设备的寿命性能、电阻性能的目的,除了含有上述特定的有机砜化合物之外,还可以含有添加物质。作为该添加物质,可以使用选自由含硫化合物(不包括前述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物)、环状酸酐、羧酸化合物和含硼化合物组成的组中的1种以上化合物。从通过使用与本发明化合物具有不同分解电位的添加物质而能够在正极活性物质和负极活性物质的表面形成缺陷更少的覆膜的理由出发,认为改善了蓄电设备的寿命性能、电阻性能。
作为上述含硫化合物,可列举出1,3-丙烷磺内酯(PS)、丙烯磺内酯、亚硫酸亚乙酯、1,4-丁烷磺内酯、甲烷磺酸甲酯、甲烷磺酸乙酯、甲烷二磺酸二甲酯、甲烷二磺酸二乙酯、甲烷二磺酸二丙酯、甲烷二磺酸双(三氟甲基)酯、甲烷二磺酸双(三甲基甲硅烷基)酯、亚甲基甲烷二磺酸、甲烷二磺酸亚乙酯、甲烷二磺酸亚丙酯、亚乙基二磺酸亚甲酯、亚乙基二磺酸亚乙酯、乙烷二磺酸二甲酯、乙烷二磺酸二乙酯、乙烷二磺酸双(三氟甲基)酯、乙烷二磺酸双(三甲基甲硅烷基)酯、丙烷二磺酸二甲酯、丙烷二磺酸二乙酯、丙烷二磺酸亚甲酯、丙烷二磺酸亚乙酯、1,5-萘二磺酸二甲酯、丁烷二磺酸二甲酯、丁烷二磺酸二乙酯、5-乙烯基-六氢1,3,2-苯并二氧硫醇-2-氧化物、1,4-丁二醇二甲烷磺酸盐、1,3-丁二醇二甲烷磺酸盐、N,N-二甲基甲烷磺酰胺、N,N-二乙基甲烷磺酰胺、二乙烯基砜、1,2-双(乙烯基磺酰基)甲烷等。

作为上述含硼化合物,可列举出LiBF2(C2O4)、LiB(C2O4)2、LiBF2(CO2CH2CO2)、LiB(CO2CH2CO2)2、LiB(CO2CF2CO2)2、LiBF2(CO2CF2CO2)、LiBF3(CO2CH3)、LiBF3(CO2CF3)、LiBF2(CO2CH3)2、LiBF2(CO2CF3)2、LiBF(CO2CH3)3、LiBF(CO2CF3)3、LiB(CO2CH3)4、LiB(CO2CF3)4、Li2B2O7、Li2B2O4等。
上述添加物质可以分别单独使用1种,也可以组合使用2种以上。此外,向水电解液中加入添加物质时,还因添加物质而异,但非水电解液中的添加物质的含量优选为0.01~5质量%、更优选为0.1~2质量%。
<蓄电设备>
本发明的非水电解液可以用于锂离子二次电池、电双层电容器、正极或负极中的一者为电池且另一者为电双层的混合型电池等各种蓄电设备。以下,针对其代表例的锂离子二次电池进行说明。
作为构成负极的负极活性物质,能够掺杂/脱掺杂锂离子的碳材料、金属锂、含锂的合金、或者能够与锂进行合金化的硅、硅合金、锡、锡合金、能够掺杂/脱掺杂锂离子的氧化锡、氧化硅、能够掺杂/脱掺杂锂离子的过渡金属氧化物、能够掺杂/脱掺杂锂离子的过渡金属氮化合物、或者它们的混合物均可使用。需要说明的是,负极通常是在铜制的箔、多孔金属网(expand metal)等集电体上形成有负极活性物质的构成。
为了提高负极活性物质对于集电体的粘接性,可以含有例如聚偏二氟乙烯系粘结剂、胶乳系粘结剂等,作为导电助剂,可以添加炭黑、非晶晶须碳等来使用。
作为构成负极活性物质的碳材料,可列举出例如热解碳类、焦炭类(沥青焦炭、针状焦、石油焦炭等)、石墨类、有机高分子化合物烧成体(将酚醛树脂、呋喃树脂等以适当的温度进行烧成并碳化而得的产物)、碳纤维、活性炭等。碳材料可以经石墨化。
作为碳材料,特别优选利用X射线衍射法而测得的(002)面的面间隔(d002)为0.340nm以下的碳材料,理想的是真密度为1.70g/cm3以上的石墨或者具有与其相近的性质的高结晶性碳材料。若使用这种碳材料,则能够提高非水电解液电池的能量密度。
进而,可以使用在上述碳材料中含有硼的物质;用金、铂、银、铜、Sn、Si等金属覆盖而得的产物(例如含硼酸的碳材料等);或者用无定形碳覆盖而得的产物(例如镁盐覆盖碳材料、钙盐覆盖碳材料等)等。这些碳材料可以使用1种,也可以适当组合并混合使用两种以上。
此外,使用了能够与锂进行合金化的硅、硅合金、锡、锡合金、能够掺杂/脱掺杂锂离子的氧化锡、氧化硅、能够掺杂/脱掺杂锂离子的过渡金属氧化物等时,与上述碳材料相比单位重量的理论容量均高,是适合的材料。
另一方面,构成正极的正极活性物质可以由能够充放电的各种材料形成。可列举出例如含有锂的过渡金属氧化物、使用了1种以上过渡金属的含锂过渡金属复合氧化物、过渡金属氧化物、过渡金属硫化物、金属氧化物、橄榄石型金属锂盐等。可以使用例如LiCoO2、LiNiO2、LiMn2O4、LiMnO2等LixMO2(此处,M为1种以上的过渡金属,x因电池的充放电状态而异,通常为0.05≤x≤1.20)所示的锂与一种以上的过渡金属形成的复合氧化物(锂过渡金属复合氧化物);将成为这些锂过渡金属复合氧化物的主体的一部分过渡金属原子用Al、Ti、V、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Li、Ni、Cu、Zn、Mg、Ga、Zr、Si、Yb等其它金属取代而得的金属复合氧化物;FeS2、TiS2、V205、MoO3、MoS2等过渡元素的硫属化物或者聚乙炔、聚吡咯等聚合物等。其中,优选为能够掺杂和脱掺杂Li的锂过渡金属复合氧化物或过渡金属原子的一部分被其它金属取代而得的金属复合氧化物等材料。
此外,也可以使用在这些正极活性物质的表面附着与构成成为主体的正极活性物质的物质的组成不同的物质而得的产物。作为表面的附着物质,可列举出氧化铝、氧化硅、氧化钛、氧化锆、氧化镁、氧化钙、氧化硼、氧化锑、氧化铋等氧化物;硫酸锂、硫酸钠、硫酸钾、硫酸镁、硫酸钙、硫酸铝等硫酸盐;碳酸锂、碳酸钙、碳酸镁等碳酸盐等。
此外,正极通常为在铝、钛或不锈钢制的箔或多孔金属网等集电体上形成有正极活性物质的构成。为了提高正极活性物质对于集电体的粘接性,可以含有例如聚偏二氟乙烯系粘结剂、胶乳系粘结剂等,为了提高正极内的电子传导性,可以含有炭黑、非晶晶须、石墨等。
分隔件优选为将正极与负极进行电绝缘且能够透过锂离子的膜,可使用例如微多孔性高分子薄膜等多孔性膜。作为微多孔性高分子薄膜,特别优选为多孔性聚烯烃薄膜,具体而言,优选为多孔性聚乙烯薄膜、多孔性聚丙烯薄膜、或者多孔性的聚乙烯薄膜与聚丙烯薄膜的多层薄膜等。进而,作为分隔件,也可以使用高分子电解质。作为高分子电解质,也可以使用例如溶解有锂盐的高分子物质、用电解液使其溶胀的高分子物质等,但不限定于它们。
本发明的非水电解液可以出于利用该非水电解液使高分子物质溶胀而得到高分子电解质的目的来使用,此外,也可以向组合使用了多孔性聚烯烃薄膜和高分子电解质的形式的分隔件中浸渗非水电解液。
针对使用了本发明的非水电解液的锂离子二次电池的形状,没有特别限定,可以制成圆筒型、方型、铝层压型、硬币型、纽扣型等各种形状。
实施例
以下,通过实施例更具体地说明本发明,但本发明不限定于这些实施例,可以在本发明的范围内进行变更。
<电解液1-1~1-12的制备>
在碳酸亚乙酯(EC)与碳酸甲乙酯(EMC)与氟代碳酸亚乙酯(FEC)的混合溶剂(体积比为30:68:2)中,以浓度达到1mol/升的方式溶解作为锂盐的LiPF6,制备基准电解液1-1。
接着,在该基准电解液1-1中,以达到表1所示含量的方式添加表1所示的有机砜化合物,制备电解液1-2~1-12。表1中的含量(%)是相对于基准电解液1-1与有机砜化合物的总质量(100质量%)的质量%。

<电解液2-1~2-4的制备>
相对于基准电解液1-1(99.5质量%)添加0.5质量%的(CH2=CH-SO2-CH2)2-CH2OSO2CF3,使其溶解来制备基准电解液。
接着,在上述基准电解液中,以达到表2所示含量的方式添加表2所示的化合物,制备电解液2-1~2-4。表2中的添加物的含量(%)是相对于基准电解液与添加物的总质量(100质量%)的质量%。

<电池的制作>
将在铝集电体上涂布正极合剂而成的正极与在铜集电体上涂布负极合剂而成的负极隔着厚度为23μm的分隔件(F23DHA、Toray Battery Separator Film公司制)卷绕而成的扁平卷状电极组容纳至外壳中,制作具有纵30mm×横30mm×厚2.0mm的长方体形状的电池单元。
正极如下制作:向将作为粘结剂的聚偏二氟乙烯5质量%、作为导电剂的乙炔黑4质量%和作为锂-镍-锰-钴复合氧化物粉末的正极活性物质LiNi0.5Mn0.3Co0.2O2 91质量%混合而成的正极合剂中添加N-甲基吡咯烷酮而制成糊剂状,将其涂布至厚度18μm的铝箔集电体两面,将溶剂干燥去除后,利用辊压机进行压延,由此制作。
负极如下制作:将人造石墨化性碳粉末95.8质量%、作为粘结剂的丁苯橡胶(SBR)2.0质量%和羧甲基纤维素2.2质量%水溶液进行混合,分散介质使用水来制备浆料,将该浆料涂布至厚度12μm的铜箔的两面,将溶剂干燥去除后,利用辊压机进行压延,由此制作。分隔件使用了聚乙烯微多孔膜。
接着,使用上述制作的电池单元,按照以下那样的步骤来制作电池。
a.称量各种电解液0.55g,注入至电池单元的注液口中,进行减压后,封闭注液口。
b.将封闭后的电池单元在保持至45℃气氛下的状态下以8mA充电至4.2V后,以8mA放电至3.0V。
c.减压去除放电至3.0V后的电池单元的内部气体,制作电池。
<电池评价>
针对上述制作的电池,如下测定特性。
a.电阻变化率
在高温循环试验前,以25℃充电至SOC(State of Charge,充电状态)的50%为止,在各个环境下分别以0.2C、0.5C、1.0C、2.0C放电10秒钟,求出初始直流电阻值。
然后,在45℃的气氛中,以1C的倍率充电至4.2V后,在相同气氛下,以1C的倍率放电至3.0V为止,反复进行直至达到200个循环后,利用与上述高温循环试验前相同的条件求出循环后的直流电阻值。使用下述式,由该初始直流电阻值和循环后的直流电阻值求出电阻变化率。
电阻变化率(%)=(循环后的电阻值/初始电阻值)×100 (1)
b.容量维持率
在45℃的气氛中,以1C的倍率充电至4.2V后,在相同气氛下,以1C的倍率放电至3.0V,将该放电容量值作为初始容量值。接着,在相同条件下反复进行200次,将第200次的放电容量值作为循环后的容量值。使用下述式由该初始容量值和循环后的容量值求出容量维持率。

c.体积变化率
在25℃的气氛中,向烧杯中量取规定量的纯水,并且,使层压电池整体沉入水中,量取该烧杯内的体积增加量,将该增加量作为层压电池的初始体积值。接着,在相同条件下,在25℃的气氛下以0.2C的倍率充电至4.2V后,在60℃的气氛下放置14天,量取此时的层压电池的体积增加量,作为层压电池的保存后的体积值。使用下述式,由该初始体积值和保存后的体积值求出体积变化率。

<实施例1~14>
使用表1所示的1-1~1-11的电解液和上述表2所示的2-1~2-4的电解液,使用上述电池制作的步骤,制作实施例1~13和比较例1的层压电池,在25℃气氛下求出初始电阻值。
接着,在45℃的气氛中,将以1C的倍率至4.2V为止的充电和至3.0V为止的放电反复进行200次,由初始容量值和200次循环后的放电容量值求出容量维持率后,利用相同的方法求出循环后的直流电阻值,由初始电阻值和200次循环后的直流电阻值求出电阻变化率。将其结果示于表3。

如表3所示那样,通过添加本发明的有机砜化合物,能够大幅减少高温循环后的直流电阻上升率。可以认为:有机砜化合物通过在结构内具有硫、磷和硼等元素而容易在活性物质表面形成致密的覆膜,抑制电解液成分的分解,因此,可大幅减少电阻上升率。并且,通过加入添加剂,能够进一步抑制电阻上升。此外,同时具有提高循环后的容量维持率的效果。
<实施例15~17>
使用表1所示的1-12、1-2、1-4、1-10的电解液,使用上述电池制作的步骤,分别制作实施例15~17和比较例2的层压电池,在25℃气氛下求出初始电阻值,求出该电池的初始体积。
接着,在25℃的气氛中,以0.2C的倍率充电至4.2V后,在60℃的气氛下放置14天。
将该电池恢复至25℃,利用与上述相同的方法求出保存后的电阻值和保存后的体积,分别以初始比的形式求出电阻变化率和体积变化率。将其结果示于表4。

如表4所示那样,通过添加本发明的有机砜化合物,能够大幅减少高温保存后的直流电阻上升率和体积变化率。
产业上的可利用性
本发明的蓄电设备用非水电解液可广泛用于手机、笔记本电脑等各种民生设备用电源、产业设备用电源、蓄电池、汽车用电源等蓄电设备用途。

1.一种蓄电设备用非水电解液,其特征在于,其为在非水溶剂中溶解电解质而成的蓄电设备用非水电解液,所述电解质为溶解于所述非水溶剂的锂盐,且所述蓄电设备用非水电解液含有下述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物,
式(1)中,A1、A2、A3和A4各自独立地为-X-SO2-CH=CH2、氢原子、取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基、烯基、炔基或烷氧基、取代或非取代的碳原子数6~10的芳基、或者-O-SiR’1R’2R’3,其中,R’1、R’2和R’3各自独立地为氢原子、或者取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基;其中,A1、A2、A3和A4中的至少一者为-X-SO2-CH=CH2;
X和Y各自独立地为单键、取代或非取代的亚苯基、或者取代或非取代的碳原子数为1~4的亚烷基;
R选自下述基团:
R1、R2、R3和R4各自独立地为氢原子、取代或非取代的碳原子数1~5的烷基、烯基、炔基或烷氧基、取代或非取代的碳原子数6~10的芳基、或者-O-SiR’1R’2R’3,其中,R’1、R’2和R’3表示与上述相同的含义。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,A1和A2为-X-SO2-CH=CH2。

7.根据权利要求1~6中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,所述非水溶剂含有链状碳酸酯、饱和环状碳酸酯和不饱和环状碳酸酯。
8.根据权利要求7所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,链状碳酸酯、饱和环状碳酸酯和不饱和环状碳酸酯的含量分别为30~80质量%、10~50质量%和0.01~5质量%。
9.根据权利要求1~8中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其中,所述锂盐为选自由LiPF6、LiBF4、LiCF3SO3、LiN(FSO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)2、LiN(C2F5SO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)(C2F5SO2)和LiN(CF3SO2)(C4F9SO2)组成的组中的至少1种锂盐。
10.根据权利要求1~9中任一项所述的蓄电设备用非水电解液,其还含有选自由含硫化合物、环状酸酐、羧酸化合物、含硅化合物和含硼化合物组成的组中的至少1种添加物,所述含硫化合物不包括所述式(1)所示的有机砜化合物。
11.一种蓄电设备,其使用权利要求1~10中任一项所述的非水电解液。
12.根据权利要求11所述的蓄电设备,其中,蓄电设备为锂二次电池。
