Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of agriculture, in particular to a natural and environment-friendly coating agent for non-heading Chinese cabbage seeds and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The seed coating is a seed treatment technology which utilizes an adhesive or a film-forming agent to coat non-seed materials such as a bactericide, an insecticide, a micro-fertilizer, a plant growth regulator, a filling agent, a warning color and the like on the surface of seeds so as to enable the seeds to form spherical shapes or basically keep the original shapes, improve the stress resistance and disease resistance of the seeds, accelerate the germination speed of the seeds, promote the seedling formation, increase the yield and improve the product quality. Generally divided into seed coating and seed pelleting. The seed coating technology is that the film forming agent or adhesive is used to coat pesticide, micro fertilizer, plant hormone and other matter onto the seed surface to form one homogeneous film. The weight of the coated seeds is slightly increased, and the volume and the shape of the coated seeds are not obviously changed. Seed coating techniques are generally applicable to large and medium grain vegetable crop seeds such as soybean, corn, cucumber, and the like. The seed pelleting technology is characterized in that a film forming agent or an adhesive is utilized to attach substances such as insecticide, trace fertilizer, phytohormone and the like to the surface of seeds through mechanical treatment, so that pelleted seeds with smooth appearance, increased particles and obvious changes in volume and weight are formed. Generally applicable to small, light and irregularly shaped vegetable crop seeds, such as: carrot, tomato, radish, pepper, cabbage, etc.
Non-heading Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa ssp. chinensis) belongs to Brassicaceae Brassica subspecies, commonly called green vegetables, pakchoi, rape and the like, and is an important leaf vegetable crop native to China. The non-heading Chinese cabbage is fresh and tender, rich in nutrition, deeply popular with people and plays an important role in planting and consuming vegetables in China. The non-heading Chinese cabbage is mostly cultivated in a direct seeding mode, the seed particles are small, the practical production problems of large seeding quantity, low emergence rate, poor seedling quality and the like exist, and therefore, the improvement of the seed activity and the seedling quality have direct influence on the yield and the quality of the non-heading Chinese cabbage.
There have been many domestic patent applications relating to vegetable seed coating technology, and patent No. CN108850025A discloses a vegetable seed coating agent and its preparation method, and patent No. CN104478584A discloses a cruciferous vegetable seed coating agent and its preparation method; patent No. CN101238767 discloses a method for pelleting and coating cruciferous vegetable seed plant source pesticides; patent No. CN102584482A discloses a pollution-free Chinese cabbage seed coating agent; the patent No. CN102084741A discloses a method for processing green cabbage seeds, however, the above-mentioned seed coating method is not well adapted to the coating of non-heading cabbage seeds, and currently, there are few researches on the coating of non-heading cabbage seeds, so there is a need to provide a natural and environment-friendly coating agent for non-heading cabbage seeds and a preparation method thereof.

The germination test is carried out on the non-heading Chinese cabbage seeds prepared by the preparation method of the natural environment-friendly non-heading Chinese cabbage seed coating agent.
1. Seed germination test:
the seeds were transferred to corresponding 90mm petri dishes, 50 particles were placed in each treatment, 10 parallel experiments were performed in each treatment, and the cultures were incubated at room temperature. Water was poured every 12 hours, keeping the filter paper moist.
2. Determination of germination index
And 3 germination indexes of the seeds, namely germination vigor, germination rate and germination index, are measured. The calculation method of each index is as follows:
seed germination (%) — number of germinated seeds at initial stage (day 3)/number of test seeds × 100%.
The germination rate (%) of the seeds was 100% of the number of germinated seeds/test seeds at the final stage (day 7).
Germination Index (GI) is ∑ Gt/Dt.
Wherein Gt is the number of germinated seeds on different germination days (count of 7d), and Dt is the corresponding germination days.
