如图1至图4所示,根据本实施例的连接器10包括壳体20、一对端子配件40和后保持件60。端子配件40和后保持件60从壳体20的后侧顺序地附接到壳体20,该后侧与壳体20的连结部分11相反。
连接器10将被连结到配合连接器(未示出),使得端子配件40将被连接到配合连接器的配合端子(未示出)。连接器10的前侧是要连结到配合连接器的连结部分11。
壳体20由绝缘合成树脂一体地制成。壳体20形成为凹状,并且连结部分11侧敞开。壳体20包括周壁21和底壁22。装配凹部23设置有周壁21和底壁22,其中面向配合连接器的前侧敞开。
周壁21形成为矩形管状,并且锁定爪24在周壁21的上部和下部从周壁21的外表面向外突出。锁定爪24设置在壳体20的宽度方向上的中央位置处。
底壁22一体地设置在周壁21的后侧。底壁22包括从底壁22的后表面向后突出的两个突出部分25(见图4A和4B)。另外,设置为一对方孔的插入孔26在壳体20的前后方向上穿过底壁22延伸。插入孔26中的每一个在设置有突出部分25的位置处间隔开地设置。插入孔26在底壁22的前表面22a和突出部分25的端表面25a处敞开。
在壳体20中,固定板部分30设置在周壁21的两侧部分上。固定板部分30与周壁21一体地设置,并且设置成沿着壳体20的前后方向延伸的板状。每个固定板部分30具有固定孔31。将螺栓(未示出)插入固定板部分30的固定孔31中。然后,将插入到固定孔31中的螺栓拧入诸如电连接盒的螺纹部分中,从而将连接器10固定到电连接盒。
固定板部分30包括在固定板部分30的后部的端子固定部分32,端子固定部分32的厚度大于固定板部分30的厚度。具有阴螺纹33的螺母34嵌入端子固定部分32中。螺母34在端子固定部分32的上表面侧露出。
端子配件40设置为由诸如铜和铝的导电金属制成的板。端子配件40通过压制形成。端子配件40包括电连接部分41、连接部分42和固定部分43。电连接部分41形成为矩形平板形状,并且包括末端表面45、后端表面46和侧端表面47。电连接部分41被附接到壳体20,使得电连接部分41的延伸方向和与配合连接器的配合端子连接的连接方向对准。
连接部分42的一个端侧连接到电连接部分41的一个侧端表面47的后侧。连接部分42形成为带状,并向与电连接部分41的延伸方向大致正交的侧向侧弯曲并延伸。在端子配件40中,连接部分42中的每一个在彼此相反的方向上延伸。固定部分43连接到连接部分42的另一端侧。固定部分43形成为具有孔48的板状,并沿着连接部分42的延伸方向延伸。通过将电连接部分41从后侧插入到壳体20的插入孔26中,端子配件40被附接到壳体20。在剖视图中,壳体20的供电连接部分41插过的插入孔26设置为比电连接部分41的外部形状稍大的孔。
插入到插入孔26中的端子配件40的电连接部分41从壳体20的底壁22的前表面22a突出,并且布置在装配凹部23中。然后,其电连接部分41插入到插入孔26中的端子配件40在连接部分42处抵接壳体20的突出部分25的端表面25a。端子配件40的连接部分42所抵接在其上的突出部分25的端表面25a是用于控制电连接部分41从底壁22的前表面22a的突出长度(换言之,突出尺寸)的基准面。连接部分42抵接作为基准面的突出部分25的端表面25a,从而限制了电连接部分41在将电连接部分41插入到插入孔26中的方向上的移动。
通过将端子配件40附接到壳体20,端子配件40的固定部分43与设置在壳体20的固定板部分30上的端子固定部分32的螺母34重叠。因此,设置在固定部分43中的孔48与螺母34的阴螺纹33螺合。例如,可以将设置在电线的端部处的连接端子(未示出)连接至固定部分43。具体地,连接端子与固定部分43重叠,使得连接端子的孔与和阴螺纹33螺合的孔48连通,并且螺栓(未示出)被插入。螺栓拧入螺母34的阴螺纹33中并紧固。因此,端子配件40的固定部分43和电线的连接端子通过螺栓紧固在一起,并且端子配件40和电线电连接。
后保持件60由绝缘合成树脂一体地制成。后保持件60在前侧上包括接合壁61,该前侧是到壳体20的附接侧。接合壁61设置在后保持件60的上侧和下侧。在每个接合壁61中设置具有锁定窗口62的锁定部分63。锁定部分63设置在后保持件60的宽度方向上的中央位置。
后保持件60具有两个容纳凹部65,容纳凹部65在到壳体20的附接侧敞开。端子配件40的电连接部分41插入其中的壳体20的每个突出部25容纳在每个容纳凹部65中。在后保持件60中,在到壳体20的附接侧上设置有与容纳凹部65连通的凹口66。端子配件40的连接部分42容纳在凹口66中。
图5A和5B是示出后保持件的视图,其中图5A是后保持件的正视图,图5B是沿着图5A中的线D-D截取的剖视图。如图5A和5B所示,在容纳凹部65的底表面70上设置有栅格肋71。栅格肋71由间隔布置的多个线状的竖直肋71a和水平肋71b设置,竖直肋71a和水平肋71b以栅格图案设置为彼此正交。
在每个容纳凹部65的底表面70中,在栅格肋71上设置有在到壳体20的附接方向上突出的两个压销75。压销75从栅格肋71的竖直肋71a突出,并且在上下方向上间隔地布置。压销75设置在面对容纳在容纳凹部65中的、端子配件40的电连接部分41的后端表面46的位置处。
压销75的末端设置为可压扁的远端部分76。可压扁的远端部分76设置成减缩形状,其横截面面积朝着末端逐渐减小。具体地,可压扁的远端部分76设置为圆锥形。可压扁的远端部分76可以具有金字塔形状。可压扁的远端部分76具有平坦的远端76a,该平坦的远端76a正交于后保持件60附接到壳体20的方向。
在具有以上结构的连接器10中,连结部分11将被连结到配合连接器。具体地,将配合连接器的壳体装配到设置在连接器10的壳体20中的装配凹部23中。因此,端子配件40的突出到装配凹部23中的电连接部分41将被插入并电连接到用作配合连接器的阴端子的配合端子。
接下来,将描述根据本实施例的连接器10的组装。为了附接连接器10,首先,将端子配件40附接到壳体20。具体地,端子配件40的电连接部分41从后侧插入到壳体20的插入孔26中。然后,端子配件40的电连接部分41被布置成从壳体20的底壁22的前表面22a突出到装配凹部23中。
接下来,从已经附接有端子配件40的壳体20的后侧附接后保持件60。具体地,使后保持件60靠近壳体20的后端,并且将壳体20的突出部分25插入后保持件60的容纳凹部65中。然后,将后保持件60推入壳体20中,并且将壳体20的后端装配在后保持件60的上下接合壁61之间。然后,壳体20的锁定爪24进入后保持件60的锁定部分63的锁定窗口62,使得锁定爪24锁定锁定部分63。相应地,后保持件60被附接到端子配件40所附接到的壳体20。
接下来,将描述在组装连接器10期间的压销75。图6A和图6B是示出当将后保持件附接到壳体时的压销的状态的视图,其中图6A是在完成组装之前沿图3A中的线C-C截取的剖视图,图6B是组装完成后沿图3A的C-C线截取的剖视图。
如图6A所示,由于将后保持件60附接到已经附接有端子配件40的壳体20,所以后保持件60的压销75的末端靠近端子配件40的电连接部分41的后端表面46。压销75的可压扁的远端部分76的平坦远端76a抵接电连接部分41的后端表面46。
如图6B所示,当将后保持件60进一步推入壳体20中,并且当锁定爪24完全锁定锁定部分63时,压销75的末端的可压扁的远端部分76被按压抵靠端子配件40的电连接部分41的后端表面46,并且塑性变形为压扁状态。由此,电连接部分41被支撑在这样的状态中,其中,连接部分42被按压抵靠被设置为壳体20的突出部分25的端表面25a的基准面。因此,在壳体20中,电连接部分41以预定的突出尺寸突出到装配凹部23中,并且被支撑在这样的状态中,其中,在作为突出方向的前后方向上的移动的被限制。在剖视图中,端子配件40的电连接部分41所插入穿过的壳体20的插入孔26被设置为略大于电连接部分41的外部形状的孔。因此,插入到插入孔26中的电连接部分41在正交于与配合端子连接的连接方向的上下方向和左右方向上可稍微移动,连接方向即插入到插入孔26中的插入方向。
如上所述,根据本实施例的连接器10,当将后保持件60附接到壳体20时,压销75从后侧按压端子配件40的电连接部分41,并且末端处的可压扁的远端部分76塑性地变形。因此,作为端子配件40的一部分的连接部分42被按压抵靠用作壳体20的基准面的、突出部分25的端表面25a,并被保持为使得端子配件40不会在与配合端子连接的连接方向上产生晃动。因此,与其中端子配件40的电连接部分41以压入方式插入并固定到壳体20的结构相比,可以精确地控制电连接部分41从插入孔26的前端的突出长度,换言之,突出尺寸,因为可以在与配合端子连接的连接方向正交的上下方向和左右方向上设置游隙。因此,可以吸收在与配合连接器连结期间的与配合端子的位置偏差,并且可以顺利地进行与配合连接器的连结。
由于平板状电连接部分41的后端表面46被压销75按压,所以电连接部分41朝向与配合连接器的配合端子连接的连接方向被笔直地按压。因此,电连接部分41可从插入孔26的前端无倾斜地突出。
另外,由于在设置在后保持件60的底表面70上的栅格肋71中设置压销75,所以可以增加压销75的刚度,并且可以将端子配件40的电连接部分41更牢固按压抵靠作为基准面的突出部分25的端表面25a,从而精确地控制电连接部分41的突出长度。
尽管已经参考本发明的某些示例性实施例描述了本发明,但是本发明的范围不限于上述示例性实施例,并且本领域技术人员将理解,可以在不脱离由所附权利要求书限定的本发明的范围的情况下对发明进行各种改变和修改。
例如,在上述实施例中,压销75设置在栅格肋71的竖直肋71a上,但是压销75也可以设置在水平肋71b上。如图7所示,压销75可以设置在栅格肋71的竖直肋71a和水平肋71b的相交处。如果压销75以这种方式设置在竖直肋71a和水平肋71b的相交处,则可以进一步增加压销75的刚度。因此,可以增加端子配件40的电连接部分41对设置在壳体20中的突出部分25的端表面25a的按压力,并且可以进一步精确地控制电连接部分41的突出长度。
根据上述示例性实施例,一种连接器(10)配置为被连结到配合连接器,所述连接器(10)包括:端子配件(40),其包括被配置为连接到配合连接器的配合端子的电连接部分(41);壳体(20),其包括插入孔(26),该插入孔(26)在电连接部分(41)连接到配合端子的方向上延伸,电连接部分(41)从壳体(20)的后侧穿过该插入孔(26)插入并从壳体(20)的前侧突出;和后保持件(60),其附接到壳体(20)的后侧,使得后保持件(60)按压和保持端子配件(40)抵靠壳体(20)。壳体还包括基准面(例如,端表面25a),该基准面被布置成在端子配件(40)的一部分(例如,连接部分42)抵接该基准面的情况下限制电连接部分(41)进一步插入到插入孔(26)中。后保持件(60)包括压销(75),压销(75)被配置为当后保持件(60)被附接到壳体(20)时从端子配件(40)的后侧按压端子配件(40),使得压销(75)部分地和塑性地变形并且使得端子配件(40)被按压抵靠基准面。
根据具有以上构造的连接器,当将后保持件附接到壳体时,压销从后侧按压端子配件,并且部分地塑性变形。因此,端子配件被按压抵靠壳体的基准面并被保持为使得端子配件在与配合端子连接的连接方向上不具有游隙,并且可以精确地控制电连接部分从插入孔的前端的突出长度,换言之,突出尺寸。与将端子配件的电连接部分以压入方式插入并固定至壳体的结构相比,可以在与配合端子连接的连接方向正交的上下方向和左右方向上设置游隙。因此,可以吸收在与配合连接器连结期间的与配合端子的位置偏差,并且可以顺利地进行与配合连接器的连结。
连接器(10)还可以包括压销(75),压销包括配置成按压端子配件(40)的可压扁的远端部分(76),该可压扁的远端部分是减缩的,使得可压扁的远端部分的横截面面积在可压扁的远端部分按压端子配件(40)的方向上逐渐减小。
根据具有以上构造的连接器,压销按压端子配件,并且减缩的远端部分被压扁并且塑性变形。结果,端子配件可以被保持为使得端子配件在与配合端子连接的连接方向上不会晃动。
连接器(10)还可以包括电连接部分(41),该电连接部分(41)具有在电连接部分(41)连接到配合端子的方向上延伸的平板形状。压销75可以抵接并按压电连接部分的后端表面(46)。
根据具有以上构造的连接器,由于平板状电连接部分的后端表面被压销按压,电连接部分向与配合连接器的配合端子连接的连接方向被笔直地按压,并且电连接部分可以从插入孔的前端无倾斜地突出。
连接器(10)还可以包括后保持件(60)后保持件(60)还包括与后保持件(60)附接至壳体(20)的方向正交的底表面(70)和栅格肋(71),栅格肋(71)包括以栅格图案设置在底表面(70)上的多个线状的肋(例如,竖直肋71a和水平肋71b)。压销(75)可以设置在栅格肋(71)上。
根据具有以上构造的连接器,由于压销设置在底表面上设置的栅格肋上,所以可以增加压销的刚度,并且端子配件可以被更牢固地按压抵靠基准表面,从而精确控制电连接部分的突出长度。
连接器(10)还可以包括设置在栅格肋(71)的线状肋(例如,竖直肋71a和水平肋71b)的相交处的压销(75)。
根据具有以上构造的连接器,由于压销设置在线状肋的相交处,所以可以进一步提高压销的刚性,并且可以将端子配件更牢固地按压抵靠基准表面,从而进一步精确地控制电连接部分的突出长度。

Claims (6)

1.一种连接器,被配置为连结到配合连接器,所述连接器包括:
端子配件,其包括被配置为连接到所述配合连接器的配合端子的电连接部分;
壳体,其包括插入孔,所述插入孔在所述电连接部分连接到所述配合端子的方向上延伸,所述电连接部分从所述壳体的后侧穿过所述插入孔被插入并从所述壳体的前侧突出;和
后保持件,其附接到所述壳体的所述后侧,使得所述后保持件按压并保持所述端子配件抵靠所述壳体,
其中,所述壳体还包括基准面,所述基准面被布置成在所述端子配件的一部分抵接所述基准面的情况下限制所述电连接部分进一步插入到所述插入孔中,和
其中,所述后保持件包括压销,所述压销被配置为当所述后保持件被附接到所述壳体时从所述端子配件的后侧按压所述端子配件,使得所述压销部分地和塑性地变形并且使得所述端子配件被按压抵靠所述基准面。
2.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,
其中,所述压销包括配置成按压所述端子配件的可压扁的远端部分,所述可压扁的远端部分是渐缩的,使得所述可压扁的远端部分的横截面面积在所述可压扁的远端部分按压所述端子配件的方向上逐渐减小。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的连接器,
其中,所述电连接部分具有在所述电连接部分连接到所述配合端子的方向上延伸的平板形状,和
其中,所述压销抵接并按压所述电连接部分的后端表面。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的连接器,
其中,所述后保持件还包括底表面和栅格肋,所述底表面与所述后保持件附接到所述壳体的方向正交,所述栅格肋包括以栅格图案设置在所述底表面上的多个线性肋,和
其中,所述压销设置在所述栅格肋上。
5.根据权利要求4所述的连接器,
其中,所述压销设置在所述栅格肋的所述线性肋的相交处。
6.根据权利要求2所述的连接器,
其中,所述可压扁的远端部分具有平坦的远端,所述平坦的远端正交于所述后保持件附接到所述壳体的方向。
