技术领域
本发明涉及一种聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)合成纸,特别是涉及一种具有手触柔感且适合应用于传统平版印刷、数字印刷及喷墨(Inkjet)印刷的PET合成纸。
背景技术
现有技术中的天然木浆纸张或聚烯烃合成纸,都适用于传统平版印刷、数位印刷与喷墨印刷。但是,缺点就是手触摸的感觉都是粗糙的、没有柔韧感。
为了提升聚烯烃合成纸的接受度与使用率,开发具有柔软度、手感弹性好且打印效果、色墨密着性及防水性均佳的合成纸,是合成纸业界不断努力追寻的目标。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于提供一种PET合成纸,由一PET基材及一涂布在所述PET基材上且厚度为4~24μm的软质吸墨涂层所组成,所述软质吸墨涂层包含一压克力涂层及从压克力涂层凸起且构成岛型的一聚氨酯涂层,且所述软质吸墨涂层的组成,基于所述软质吸墨涂层的总重量,包含以下各成分,且各成分的总合100wt%:(1)2-40wt%聚氨酯树脂;(2)2-40wt%压克力树脂单体;(3)0.5-30wt%交联剂;(4)0.05-30wt%表面改质填充粒子;(5)0.5-30wt%发泡剂;(6)0.05-10wt%添加剂;(7)50-85wt%水溶媒。
本发明的PET合成纸的有益效果,为具备柔细绒毛的手触感、低光泽度及优良打印性,可以提升PET合成纸的接受度与使用率。
更进一步地,所述聚氨酯树脂为水溶性或水分散型聚氨酯树脂,且所述聚氨酯树脂为弹性体其主链是具有由多元异氰酸酯与聚多元醇所形成的聚合物。

具体实施方式
以下是通过特定的具体实例。如图1所示,本发明的PET合成纸10,是一种具有手触柔细感、低光泽,且适用平版印刷与数字印刷的PET合成纸,由一PET基材11及一软质吸墨涂层15组成,其中,所述软质吸墨涂层15是一种海岛型聚氨酯与压克力的涂层,以压克力树脂成分构成海型的压克力涂层16、以聚氨酯成分从压克力涂层16凸起且构成岛型的聚氨酯涂层18。而且,所述软质吸墨涂层15涂布在所述PET基材11的表面,且构成所述PET基材11表面上的涂层。
本发明的PET合成纸10,通过所述软质吸墨涂层15的聚氨酯涂层18具有手触柔细感及低光泽等特性,通过所述软质吸墨涂层15的压克力涂层16适合应用于传统平版印刷、数字印刷及喷墨印刷。
所述软质吸墨涂层15的组成,为一种水溶性涂布液,基于涂布液的总重量,包含以下各成分,且各成的总合100wt%:
(1)2-40wt%聚氨酯树脂;
(2)2-40wt%压克力树脂单体;
(3)0.5-30wt%交联剂;
(4)0.05-30wt%表面改质填充粒子;
(5)0.5-30wt%发泡剂;
(6)0.05-10wt%添加剂;以及
(7)50-85wt%水溶媒。
本发明的聚酯氨酯树脂,为弹性体,其主链是具有由多元异氰酸酯(polyisocyanate)与聚多元醇(polyol)所形成的线型聚合物,然后用乙二胺扩链﹐得到以聚醚或聚酯为“软段”非离子基团,侧链则具有含磺酸基之阴离子基团及非离子基团。
所述多元异氰酸酯选自甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯(IPDI)、二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯(MDI)、二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(HMDI)、赖氨酸二异氰酸酯(LDI)、对苯二异氰酸酯(PPDI),萘二异氰酸酯(NDI),二甲基联苯二异氰酸酯(TODI)、环己烷二异氰酸酯(CHDI),四甲基苯二亚甲基二异氰酸酯(TMXDI),和1,3-二(异氰酸根合甲基)环己烷(H6XDI)。
所述聚多元醇(polyol)可为聚酯多元醇与聚醚多元醇。聚酯多元醇由低分子二醇及二羧酸缩合所得,如:由乙二醇、1,3-丙二醇、1,4-丁二醇、1,6-己二醇等的低分子多元醇与琥珀酸、戊二酸、己二酸、庚二酸、软木酸(suberic acid)、壬二酸(azelaic acid)、癸二酸(sebacic acid)、癸烷二羧酸、环己烷二羧酸等的脂肪族二羧酸缩合所得的缩合系聚酯多元醇。另外,也可使用ε-己内酯等的环状酯、二醇的一部分反应为六亚甲基二胺或异佛尔酮二胺(isophorone diamine)等胺类的聚酯酰胺多元醇等。上述各多元醇皆可单独使用,也可混合多个使用,也可使用上述的共聚合物。
聚醚多元醇为选自聚四亚甲基醚二醇(PTMG)、聚丙二醇(PPG)及主链及侧链之聚乙二醇(PEG)所组成之群中的一种以上。
本发明的压克力树脂单体选自(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)、丙烯酸乙酯(EA)、(甲基)丙烯酸丙酯(PA)、丙烯酸正丁酯(BA)、(甲基)丙烯酸异丁酯(IBA)、(甲基)丙烯酸戊酯、(甲基)丙烯酸己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸庚酯、(甲基)丙烯酸辛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-乙基己酯(2-HEA)、(甲基)丙烯酸正辛酯(OA)、(甲基)丙烯酸异辛酯(IOA)、(甲基)丙烯酸壬酯(NA)、(甲基)丙烯酸癸酯、(甲基)丙烯酸月桂酯(LA)、(甲基)丙烯酸十八酯、(甲基)丙烯酸甲氧基乙酯(MOEA)、正丁基-丙烯酸甲酯(n-BMA)、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯(2-EHA)或(甲基)丙烯酸乙氧基甲酯(EOMAA)中的一种单独使用或二种以上混合并用,作为涂布海型树脂。
所述交联剂可为三聚氰胺、三聚氰胺与甲醛缩合之羟甲基改质的三聚氰胺衍生物、异氰酸酯系交联剂、氮丙啶系交联剂、恶唑啉系交联剂、碳二亚胺系交联剂中之至少一种交联剂。本发明中,以交联树脂为主成分之较佳用量为0.5-30wt%,更佳则为1-20wt%。
本发明的填充粒子选自氧化硅、氧化钛、氧化铝、氢氧化铝、碳酸钙、磷酸钙或硫酸钡中的一种以上,所述填充粒子的粒径介于0.005~10μm,视透明度、雾度、滑性、抗黏层性等不同物性需求,可选择不同大小粒径之填充粒子。当填充粒子之粒径愈大,高温下抗黏层效果愈好。填充粒子之分散性愈佳,填充粒子愈不易团聚,使得本发明的PET合成纸的雾度愈低。
本发明的填充粒子,使用表面改质处理剂获得表面改质。所述表面改质处理剂选自乙烯基硅烷偶联剂、环氧基硅烷偶联剂、苯乙烯基硅烷偶联剂、甲基丙烯酰氧基硅烷偶联剂、丙烯酰氧基硅烷偶联剂、氨基硅烷偶联剂、异氰脲酸酯基硅烷偶联剂、脲基硅烷偶联剂或异氰酸盐硅烷偶联剂中的一种以上。经过表面处理剂改质的无机粒子,可改善粒子团聚、分散性不佳、兼容性低、接着性低等缺点。本发明中,表面改质处理剂较佳用量为0.5-30wt%,更佳则为5-20wt%。
本发明使用的添加剂,包括助剂、触媒或共溶剂中的一种以上。添加助剂的目的,可以调整水溶性涂布液的表面张力,提升水溶性涂布液形成涂层与基材的润湿性及涂层的平坦度;添加触媒的目的,可以控制涂层架桥的反应速率;添加共溶剂的目的,可以控制液态成份的挥发速率。
所述助剂包括含硅或含氟或含硅/氟混合成分之助剂。所述含硅助剂可选自BYK公司之BYK307、BYK325、BYK331、BYK380N或BYK381中的一种以上;所述含氟助剂可选自3M公司的FC-4430及FC-4432、美国杜邦公司的Zonyl FSN-100或日本大金公司的DSX中的一种以上;所述含硅/氟混合成分的助剂可选自BYK346、BYK347或BYK348中的一种以上。
所述触媒为无机物质、盐类、有机物质、碱性物质或酸性物质等。所述共溶剂为甲醇、乙醇、正丙醇、异丙醇、丁醇、异丁醇、二甲基亚砜、丙酮或四氢呋喃等溶剂。
如图1所示,本发明的PET合成纸10,是采用传统线外(off-line)的凹版涂布方式,将所述软质吸墨涂层15涂布到PET基材11的表面,涂布涂层的厚度介于4~24μm,优选为5~20μm,并可进行双面涂布。
涂布后,所述软质吸墨涂层15经过120℃涂液干燥,在120℃环境下,所述软质吸墨涂层15的聚氨酯树脂透过发泡剂进行发泡产生微孔隙,且形成凸起状的聚氨酯涂层18,使本发明的PET合成纸10表面具有柔细触感且涂布外观良好。
在120℃环境下,所述软质吸墨涂层15的压克力树脂透过发泡剂产生微孔隙,且形成平坦状的压克力涂层16,可增加印刷时的吸墨性,使本发明的PET合成纸10适用于传统平版印刷、数字印刷、喷墨印刷。
所述软质吸墨涂层15添加表面经过改质的填充粒子的效果,在于增加本发明的PET合成纸10的吸墨能力,并且增加PET合成纸10的表面摩擦力,在连续走纸的打印过程中,可以防止PET合成纸10发生卡纸或表面受到擦伤。
其他的添加剂的用途,可以改善所述软质吸墨涂层15的涂布情况,使涂层涂布均匀且外观良好。
以下列举实施例具体说明本发明的内容及可达成的功效,但本发明并不仅局限于此等实施例。实施例的各项物性评估,系实行下列方法加以进行:
(1)涂布外观:采用人体视觉在强光环境下观察涂布外观。
(2)手触感:采用人体手指触摸质感。
(3)防水性:将具有软质吸墨涂层的PET合成纸与打印后的PET合成纸,浸泡在水中24小时,观察是否色墨晕开。测试用手巾沾水擦拭打印面10次,观察色墨是否脱落,完全无脱落评价佳。
(4)打印效果:打印的机台包含传统平版印刷机、数字喷墨机台HP5800、数字电子油墨机台HP Indigo系列、干粉激光打印机HP CP1000系列。
(5)色墨密着性:以3M Scotch胶带黏贴于打印后的PET合成纸上,并透过手指指压胶带黏贴处5次,已加强胶带黏贴于膜表面,随后快速撕掉胶带,并观察打印色墨是否脱落。评价色墨完全无脱落则评价佳,色墨有脱落则评价不佳。
【实施例1】
按照表1的配方调配用于形成软质吸墨涂层的水溶性涂布液,包括20克的聚氨酯树脂、8克的压克力树脂、1.0克的三聚氰胺系交联剂、0.5克的恶唑啉系交联剂、0.1克的阴离子界面活性剂A、0.25克的非离子界面活性剂B、0.1克的含硅化合物为处理剂,1.2克的发泡剂,1.6克的粒径2μm的氧化硅粒子A、3.6克之粒径0.1μm的氧化硅粒子B,62.32克的水,0.1克的触媒、1.2克的丁基纤维素及0.03克的含硅或氟助剂化合物等;经过搅拌均匀后,将水溶性涂布液均匀涂布到PET基材上约达10μm,再将涂布完成的PET基材导入120℃加热区,通过干燥去除水溶性涂布液(或涂布层)的水分,并使涂布层的聚氨酯树脂发泡成微孔隙且成为凸起状的聚氨酯涂层,从而制得PET合成纸。测定PET合成纸的物性,结果如表1。
【实施例2】
按照表1的配方调配用于形成软质吸墨涂层的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的配方相较,其含硅化合物的用量,由0.1克减为0.05克,氧化硅粒子A的用量,由1.6克增为2.1克,氧化硅粒子B的用量,由3.6克减为2.5克。测定制得的PET合成纸的物性,结果如表1。
【实施例3】
按照表1的配方调配用于形成软质吸墨涂层的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的配方相较,其树脂、表面处理剂、填充粒子及添加剂的用量为增倍使用,包括40克的聚氨酯树脂、16克的压克力树脂、1.5克的三聚氰胺系交联剂、1.2克的恶唑啉系交联剂、0.2克的阴离子界面活性剂A、0.5克的非离子界面活性剂B、0.2克的含硅化合物为处理剂,2.5克的发泡剂,3.2克的粒径2μm的氧化硅粒子A、7.2克之粒径0.1μm的氧化硅粒子B,25.24克的水,0.2克的触媒、2.4克的丁基纤维素及0.06克的含硅或氟助剂化合物等;经过搅拌均匀后,将水溶性涂布液均匀涂布到PET基材上约达10μm,再将涂布完成的PET基材导入120℃加热区,通过干燥去除水溶性涂布液(或涂布层)的水分,并使涂布层的聚氨酯树脂发泡成微孔隙且成为凸起状的聚氨酯涂层,从而制得PET合成纸。测定PET合成纸的物性,结果如表1。
【实施例4】
按照表1的配方调配用于形成软质吸墨涂层的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的配方相较,其树脂、交联剂及发泡剂的用量为减半使用,包括10克的聚氨酯树脂、4克的压克力树脂、0.5克的三聚氰胺系交联剂、0.25克的恶唑啉系交联剂、0.05克的阴离子界面活性剂A、0.1克的非离子界面活性剂B、0.1克的含硅化合物为处理剂,0.6克的发泡剂,0.8克的粒径2μm的氧化硅粒子A、2.0克之粒径0.1μm的氧化硅粒子B,80.89克的水,0.1克的触媒、0.6克的丁基纤维素及0.01克的含硅或氟助剂化合物等;经过搅拌均匀后,将水溶性涂布液均匀涂布到PET基材上约达10μm,再将涂布完成的PET基材导入120℃加热区,通过干燥去除水溶性涂布液(或涂布层)的水分,并使涂布层的聚氨酯树脂发泡成微孔隙且成为凸起状的聚氨酯涂层,从而制得PET合成纸。测定PET合成纸的物性,结果如表1。
【比较例1】
按照表1的配方调配用于形成软质吸墨涂层的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的配方相较,为不使用交联剂,且水的用量为62.17克。测定制得的PET合成纸的物性,结果如表1。
【比较例2】
按照表1的配方调配用于形成软质吸墨涂层的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的配方相较,为不使用发泡剂,且提高交联剂的用量,包括20克的聚氨酯树脂、8克的压克力树脂、5.0克的三聚氰胺系交联剂、3.0克的恶唑啉系交联剂、0.1克的阴离子界面活性剂A、0.25克的非离子界面活性剂B、0.1克的含硅化合物为处理剂,1.6克的粒径2μm的氧化硅粒子A、3.6克之粒径0.1μm的氧化硅粒子B,62.32克的水,0.1克的触媒、1.2克的丁基纤维素及0.03克的含硅或氟助剂化合物等;经过搅拌均匀后,将水溶性涂布液均匀涂布到PET基材上约达10μm,再将涂布完成的PET基材导入120℃加热区,通过干燥去除水溶性涂布液(或涂布层)的水分,并使涂布层的聚氨酯树脂发泡成微孔隙且成为凸起状的聚氨酯涂层,从而制得PET合成纸。测定PET合成纸的物性,结果如表1。
【比较例3】
按照表1的配方调配用于形成软质吸墨涂层的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的配方相较,为不使用表面处理剂。测定制得的PET合成纸的物性,结果如表1。
【比较例4】
按照表1的配方调配用于形成软质吸墨涂层的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的配方相较,为不使用填充粒子。测定制得的PET合成纸的物性,结果如表1。

结果讨论:
1.本发明的水溶性涂布液的配方,由聚氨酯树脂、压克力树脂、交联剂、表面改质的填充粒子及其它添加剂等所组成,涂布于PET基材后形成软质吸墨涂层,显著改善PET合成纸的透明性度、手触感、涂布层外观,不但适合应用于传统平版印刷、数字印刷、喷墨印刷,且打印效果、色墨密着性及防水性均佳。
2.实施例1-4的水溶性涂布液,因为配方中的聚氨酯树脂、压克力树脂与交联剂反应构成PET合成纸的软质吸墨涂层,结果制得的PET合成纸的涂布面具有手触柔细感及低光泽等特性,且PET合成纸具备优异的色墨密着性;另外,所述软质吸墨涂层中添加经表面改质的填充粒子,不但均匀分散在涂层中,增加PET合成纸的吸墨性及打印效果,而且打印色彩更加鲜艳。此外,所述软质吸墨涂层混掺不同粒径的填充粒子,可改善PET合成纸的滑性,并且达到提高连续走纸不卡纸的效果。
3.实施例2的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的水溶性涂布液相较,为添加不同粒径及不同用量的填充粒子,此说明可以相对不同打印需求而调整填充粒子的粒径及用量比例。例如,数字喷墨印刷需要较大的吸墨量,则可增加粒径较小的填充粒子的比例,以获得较佳的打印效果。例如,传统平版转印印刷需要较小的吸墨量,则可增加粒径较大的填充粒子的比例,以获得较佳的打印效果及转印效果。
4.实施例3及4的水溶性涂布液,与实施例1的水溶性涂布液相较,为增倍或减半使用配方中的树脂、交联剂、表面处理剂、填充粒子、发泡剂或添加剂的用量,结果制得的PET合成纸的物性皆保持正常,此说明本发明的水溶性涂布液的配方条件范围广泛。
5.比较例2的水溶性涂布液,为配方中不使用发泡剂,且提高交联剂的用量,结果制得的PET合成纸的涂布面的手触柔细感消失转变成硬化,但PET合成纸的色墨密着度则维持不变。
6.比较例3的水溶性涂布液,为配方中不使用表面处理剂,结果制得的PET合成纸的涂层表面不平坦,有涂布纹、月牙纹、气泡斑等现象。
7.比较例4的水溶性涂布液,为配方中不添加填充粒子,结果制得的PET合成纸的吸墨效果不佳,打印质量及打印效果差,连续走纸的性能也差。
以上所公开的内容仅为本发明的优选可行实施例,并非因此局限本发明的权利要求书的保护范围,所以凡是运用本发明说明书及附图内容所做的等效技术变化,均包含于本发明的权利要求书的保护范围内。
Claims (8)
1.一种PET合成纸,其特征在于,由一PET基材及一涂布在所述PET基材上且厚度为4~24μm的软质吸墨涂层所组成,所述软质吸墨涂层包含一压克力涂层及从压克力涂层凸起且构成岛型的一聚氨酯涂层,且所述软质吸墨涂层的组成,基于所述软质吸墨涂层的总重量,包含以下各成分,且各成分的总合100wt%:
(1)2-40wt%聚氨酯树脂;
(2)2-40wt%压克力树脂单体;
(3)0.5-30wt%交联剂;
(4)0.05-30wt%表面改质填充粒子;
(5)0.5-30wt%发泡剂;
(6)0.05-10wt%添加剂;以及
(7)50-85wt%水溶媒。
2.根据权利要求1所述的PET合成纸,其特征在于,所述聚氨酯树脂为水溶性或水分散型聚氨酯树脂,且所述聚氨酯树脂为弹性体其主链是具有由多元异氰酸酯与聚多元醇所形成的聚合物。
3.根据权利要求1所述的PET合成纸,其特征在于,所述压克力树脂单体选自(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丙酯、丙烯酸正丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸异丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸戊酯、(甲基)丙烯酸己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸庚酯、(甲基)丙烯酸辛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸正辛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸异辛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸壬酯、(甲基)丙烯酸癸酯、(甲基)丙烯酸月桂酯、(甲基)丙烯酸十八酯、(甲基)丙烯酸甲氧基乙酯、正丁基-丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯和(甲基)丙烯酸乙氧基甲酯中的一种以上。
4.根据权利要求1所述的PET合成纸,其特征在于,所述交联剂选自三聚氰胺或三聚氰胺与甲醛缩合的羟甲基改质的三聚氰胺衍生物。
5.根据权利要求1所述的PET合成纸,其特征在于,所述交联剂选自异氰酸酯系交联剂、氮丙啶系交联剂、恶唑啉系交联剂和碳二亚胺系交联剂中的一种以上。
6.根据权利要求1所述的PET合成纸,其特征在于,所述填充粒子选自氧化硅、氧化钛、氧化铝、氢氧化铝、碳酸钙、磷酸钙和硫酸钡中的一种以上,且粒径介于0.005~10μm。
7.根据权利要求1所述的PET合成纸,其特征在于,所述发泡剂选自N-亚硝基化合物、偶氮化合物和酰肼类化合物。
8.根据权利要求1所述的PET合成纸,其特征在于,所述添加剂包括助剂、触媒和共溶剂中的一种以上。
