Abstract

Description
本发明涉及具有可电切换的光学性能的多层薄膜、包含这类多层薄膜的复合玻璃板和其制造方法及其用途。
已知具有可电切换的光学性能的玻璃。这类玻璃含有功能元件,其通常在两个平面电极之间含有活性层。该活性层的光学性能可以通过施加到平面电极上的电压来改变。特别是用于汽车领域中的可电切换功能元件包括PDLC元件(聚合物分散液晶),其活性层包含嵌入聚合物基质中的液晶。例如从DE 102008026339 A1中已知PDLC功能元件。另一实例是SPD功能元件(悬浮颗粒装置),其例如从EP 0876608 B1和WO 2011033313 A1中已知。通过施加的电压,可以控制可见光透过PDLC或SPD功能元件的透射。 因此,具有这类功能元件的玻璃可以以舒适的方式通过电方式遮暗。
可电切换的功能元件通常作为多层薄膜提供。在此,在两个聚合物载体薄膜之间布置实际的功能元件。这类多层薄膜使得能够简单地制造可电切换的玻璃。通常,通过传统方法将多层薄膜层压在两个玻璃质玻璃板之间,由此产生具有可电切换的光学性能的复合玻璃板。特别地,多层薄膜可以商业购得,因此玻璃制造商不必特意制造可切换的功能元件本身。
所述功能元件必须导电接触来实现切换操作,这通过将外部电压源与功能元件的平面电极连接来实现。为了有针对性地接触平面电极,首先将其从多层薄膜中暴露出来。在此,在第一步骤中将多层薄膜的载体薄膜包括位于载体薄膜上的平面电极回切(zurückgeschnitten)。除去由此暴露的活性层,这例如通过使用溶剂来机械磨蚀。在除去活性层之后,与其相邻的平面电极显露出来并且可以被导电接触。该过程包括多个手动进行的操作步骤,其不能或仅可以不足的结果来进行自动化。特别地,用于除去活性层的清洁步骤在此被认为是关键的。一方面,必须完全除去活性层以实现良好的接触。另一方面,应将平面电极的机械应力最小化,以避免可能的损坏。这样的损坏可能已由活性层颗粒本身引起。例如,PDLC-层中包含的晶体已足以例如在磨蚀PDLC-层时刮擦平面电极。这些刮痕导致局部增加的功率消耗、由此所致的升温和最后导致部件失效。
已知包括通过各一个载体薄膜上的两个相邻平面电极控制的活性层的多层薄膜。通过将去涂层的分隔线引入平面电极中,可以使这类多层薄膜结构化,其中在分隔线的区域中除去或破坏用作平面电极的导电层。根据WO 2014/072137,这特别有利地借助于激光可行,该激光穿过载体薄膜之一聚焦到相应的平面电极上。
US 2018/0031933 A1公开了包括液晶层的光学显示器。在该显示器的边缘区域中在液晶层外部的区域中,安装经导电材料填充的接触孔。
在US 2003/0019859 A1中公开了可加热的车辆窗户,其配备有导电涂层。该导电涂层通过汇流排(也称为母线)接触,其中描述了这样的效果,即在汇流排加热时汇流排的导电材料的一部分推进到导电涂层的层中。
US 5888627描述了在板基底上具有接触孔的印刷电路板,其中接触孔经导电树脂组分填充。
本发明的目的是提供具有改进的电接触的具有可电切换的光学性能的多层薄膜,包括这类多层薄膜的复合玻璃板,以及其经济的制造方法。该方法应实现多层薄膜的自动化电接触,由此避免现有技术的缺点。
根据本发明,本发明的目的通过根据独立权利要求1、12、13和15的具有可电切换的光学性能的多层薄膜、包括这类多层薄膜的复合玻璃板、其制造方法及其用途来实现。本发明的优选实施方式由从属权利要求显而易见。
本发明的具有可电切换的光学性能的多层薄膜包括至少一个具有第一导电层的第一载体薄膜、活性层、第二导电层和第二载体薄膜。第一导电层在此布置在第一载体薄膜上,而第二导电层位于第二载体薄膜的表面上。第一和第二导电层在层堆叠体中布置为与多层薄膜的活性层相邻并为其充当平面电极。本发明的多层薄膜具有至少一个缺口,其以通孔形式穿过多层薄膜的所有层。第一缺口用导电填充物料填充。该导电填充物料在第一缺口内导电接触第一导电层。在所述缺口的侧面上,导电填充物料与层截面并因此也至少与第一导电层直接接触,由此实现相应的电接触。第一汇流排安装在第一或第二载体薄膜的外表面之一上在第一缺口的区域中,并导电接触导电填充物料。因此,可以经由第一汇流排将电压施加到第一导电层上。本发明的多层薄膜构造实现改进的电接触,因为在根据现有技术所述的手动剥除活性层时不会损坏该导电层。另外,借助于本发明的构造,在生产过程中高度自动化是可行的。
缺口的形状对应于包括两个相对的底面和侧面的一般圆柱体。底面可以被制造为圆形、椭圆形或多边形形状。优选地,底面被设计为圆形、椭圆形或四边形,其中基本上有角的基体也可以具有圆化角。圆化或圆形形状是特别有利的。多层薄膜的堆叠体通常具有高刚性。圆化角或圆形缺口使得能够从缺口中更容易地除去分离出来的部分,其中通过所述成型避免角部区域中增加的压力和由此导致的损坏。此外,圆形或圆化几何形状有利于确保用导电填充物料无空隙地填充缺口。在这一方面,具有圆形或椭圆形底面的缺口被证明是特别合适的。同样在可简化制造的过程中,优选地将缺口的两个底面选择为全等。该缺口在多层薄膜的面内引入其中。因此,该缺口不与多层薄膜的环形边缘邻接,并沿这其壁(侧面)被多层薄膜围绕。因此,该缺口是空腔,其在底面的至少一个上朝着载体薄膜之一的背离导电层的表面开放。所述至少一个第一缺口的这种几何形状描述不仅适用于这些,而且也适用于其它第一缺口和第二或其它缺口。
第二导电层的电接触可以类似于第一导电层的接触进行,或者还替代地借助于技术人员已知的措施进行。
优选地,所述多层薄膜的第二平面电极的电接触类似于所述第一平面电极的接触进行。为此,该多层薄膜在其面内具有至少一个第二缺口,其以贯穿该多层薄膜的所有层的接触孔的形式,其中所述第二缺口也用导电填充物料填充。该导电填充物料在第二缺口内导电接触第二导电层。在此,在第一或第二载体薄膜的外表面上的第二汇流排与第二缺口的导电填充物料导电接触。因此,可以以简单的方式和方法接触多层薄膜的两个平面电极(导电层)。
第一和第二缺口以通孔的形式存在。替代地,部分缺口也可行,但其只能明显更复杂地实现。由于这个原因,所述至少一个第一缺口和至少一个第二缺口被制造为穿过该多层薄膜的所有层的通孔。因此,它们在第一载体薄膜的指向环境的外表面和第二载体薄膜的指向环境的外表面之间贯通地延伸。这是特别有利的,因为可以用简单的技术手段实现通孔并且可以以少的力支出而除去多层薄膜的要除去的部分。相反,在不贯通的缺口的情况下,多层薄膜的要除去的部分在缺口的位于内部的底面处粘附在剩余薄膜组件上。
根据本发明,在汇流排和要被该汇流排接触的导电层之间的导电连接仅通过缺口内的填充物料来实现。汇流排与分配给它的导电层之间不存在直接的面形式的接触。因此可以不需要除去载体薄膜。
如果两个缺口均被制造为穿过多层薄膜的所有层的通孔,则应避免多层薄膜的平面电极之间的短路。为此,第一导电层和第二导电层彼此电绝缘。这通过各种措施是可行的。例如,可以将自粘性绝缘薄膜引入缺口的相应区域中。然而优选的是将至少一个无层的分隔线引入第一导电层中并且将至少一个无层的分隔线引入第二导电层中。至少一个分隔线在此在第一导电层内将包含至少一个第二缺口或至少一个第一缺口的电绝缘边缘区域与第一导电层的主要面分隔。至少一个无层的分隔线在第二导电层中将所述至少一个第一缺口或至少一个第二缺口的尚未被第一导电层中的分隔线与第一导电层的主要面分隔的那个缺口与第二导电层的主要面分隔。在第二导电层中也由此产生包含至少一个缺口的电绝缘边缘区域。由于第二导电层中的分隔线被选择为与该缺口(或一组缺口)相邻,而在第一导电层内没有分隔线围绕该缺口延伸,确保了第一和第二导电层没有直接接触并且避免平面电极的短路。
可以将第一汇流排和第二汇流排彼此独立地可选地安装在第一载体薄膜、第二载体薄膜的外表面上或将各一个汇流排安装在第一和第二载体薄膜上。载体薄膜的外表面在此是指不带有导电层且背离多层薄膜的活性层的那个表面。由于缺口作为通孔实现,可以自由选择其上定位有汇流排的表面,因为可以从两个薄膜表面接近缺口内的导电填充物料。如果缺口不被制造为贯通,则应理解必须将相应的汇流排安装到导电填充物料可接近的表面上。
导电层中的各分隔线的去涂层优选地通过激光束进行。例如由EP 2 200 097 A1或EP 2 139 049 A1已知用于将薄的金属薄膜结构化的方法。去涂层的宽度优选为10 µm至1000 µm,特别优选30 µm至200 µm,特别是70 µm至140 µm。在该范围内,通过激光束进行特别干净且无残留的去涂层。借助于激光束的去涂层是特别有利的,因为去涂层的线在视觉上非常不显眼并且仅轻微地损害外观和透视性。
在一个优选的实施方案中,各自将至少两个第一缺口和至少两个第二缺口引入多层薄膜中。 因此,这是两组缺口,其不同之处在于通过导电填充物料与导电层中的哪个建立电接触。在使用多个第一或第二缺口时,导电层的电接触因此不仅在单个接触点上实现。由此可以实现沿平面电极的更均匀的电流流动和与其相伴的多层薄膜的活性层的改进的切换行为。
优选地,将多个第一缺口和多个第二缺口引入多层薄膜中。第一缺口在此基本上沿着第一汇流排延伸,而第二缺口基本上沿着第二汇流排延伸。因此产生在平面电极和汇流排之间沿着汇流排的多个电接触点,由此实现活性层的均匀的切换情况(Schaltbild)。
在一个有利的实施方案中,所述缺口沿着汇流排的整个长度布置,其中沿着第一汇流排的两个相邻第一缺口的距离和/或沿着第二汇流排的两个相邻第二缺口的距离为2mm至 200 mm,优选5 mm至100 mm,特别优选10 mm至50 mm。这些范围已被证明在均匀的切换行为方面是特别有利的。
在可切换的多层薄膜的接触的实验中已经显示,通常还可以借助于单个第一缺口和单个第二缺口来实现足够好的接触。在这样的情况下,所有电功率流经该单个缺口,由此可能出现不希望的局部升温。通过设置多个第一缺口和多个第二缺口,可以避免这一点,因为电功率被分配到多个接触点(缺口)并且每个接触点的升温相应地变更少。此外,随着缺口数量的增加,可以预计在多层薄膜的面上改进的电流供应均匀性。在PDLC元件作为多层薄膜的情况下,这例如表现为如下,即在透明的切换状态下出现较少的浑浊。在PDLC元件中,包含于多层薄膜的活性层中的液晶在施加电压时彼此平行地定向,由此增加光穿过多层薄膜的透射。在这种透明的切换状态下,混浊是不希望的。通过每个汇流排使用多个接触点(缺口),可以避免不希望的残留混浊。
然而,就生产支出而言,缺口的数量应保持尽可能低。发明人已发现,通过每200mm长度至少一个缺口的数量(沿着该长度应接触和切换多层薄膜),可以获得良好的结果。特别优选地在100 mm的长度上设置1至10,特别是2至8,例如6个缺口用于接触。
所述导电填充物料是包含至少一种导电金属或导电金属合金的金属膏。优选地,该导电金属膏是银膏。在本发明的意义上,用于在玻璃上作为导电填充物料的可商购的银印刷膏是合适的。它们是技术人员众所周知的。
第一导电层和第二导电层含有至少一种金属、金属合金或透明导电氧化物,优选透明导电氧化物,并且具有10 nm至2 µm的厚度。该导电层优选是透明的。在此,透明是指对于电磁辐射,优选波长300 nm至1300 nm的电磁辐射,特别是可见光而言可透过。例如从DE20 2008 017 611 U1、EP 0 847 965 B1或WO2012/052315 A1已知本发明的导电层。它们通常含有一个或多个,例如两个、三个或四个导电的功能性单层。该功能性单层优选含有至少一种金属,例如银、金、铜、镍和/或铬、或金属合金。该功能性单层特别优选地含有至少90重量%的金属,特别是至少99.9重量%的金属。该功能性单层可以由金属或金属合金组成。该功能性单层特别优选含有银或含银合金。这样的功能性单层具有特别有利的导电性和同时在可见光谱范围内的高透射率。该功能性单层的厚度优选为5 nm至50 nm,特别优选8 nm至25 nm。在该厚度范围内,实现在可见光谱范围内的有利的高透射率和特别有利的导电性。该导电层原则上可以是可被电接触的各种层。
优选地,第一载体薄膜/或第二载体薄膜含有至少一种在高压釜过程中未完全熔融的聚合物,优选聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)。 特别优选地,第一和第二载体薄膜由PET薄膜组成。本发明的载体薄膜优选是透明的。载体薄膜的厚度优选为0.025 mm至0.400 mm,特别是0.050 mm至0.200 mm。本发明的导电层优选地布置在载体薄膜的表面上,即在载体薄膜的两面的正好一面上(即在其正面或其背面上)。载体薄膜在此在多层薄膜的层堆叠体中如此排列,以使得导电层布置为与活性层相邻并且充当其平面电极。
根据该活性层的设计,所述多层薄膜可以产生技术人员已知的各种不同的可电切换的功能元件。该活性层优选是SPD、PDLC、电致变色或电致发光层。
SPD功能元件(悬浮颗粒装置)含有包含悬浮颗粒的活性层,其中光被活性层的吸收通过将电压施加到平面电极上而可变。该吸收变化归因于在施加的电压下棒状颗粒在电场中的排列。SPD-功能元件例如由EP 0876608 B1和WO 2011033313 A1已知。
PDLC-功能元件(聚合物悬浮液晶)含有包含液晶的活性层,所述液晶嵌入聚合物基质中。如果在平面电极上不施加电压,则液晶无序排列,这导致透过活性层的光的强烈散射。如果向平面电极上施加电压,则液晶以共同的方向排列并且光透过活性层的透射增加。这样的功能元件例如由DE 102008026339 A1已知。
在电致变色的功能元件的情况下,功能元件的活性层是电化学活性层。可见光的透射取决于离子在活性层中的嵌入程度,其中所述离子例如通过活性层和平面电极之间的离子存储层来提供。该透射可以通过引起离子迁移的施加到平面电极上的电压来影响。合适的功能层例如至少含有氧化钨或氧化钒。电致变色的功能元件例如由WO 2012007334A1、US 20120026573 A1、WO 2010147494 A1和EP 1862849 A1已知。
在电致发光的功能元件的情况下,活性层含有电致发光材料,特别是有机的电致发光材料,其发光通过施加电压来激发。电致发光的功能元件例如由US 2004227462 A1和WO 2010112789 A2已知。该电致发光功能元件可以用作简单的光源,或可以作为具有任意图像的显示器来展示。
本发明此外涉及复合玻璃板,其至少包括本发明的多层薄膜。该多层薄膜在此通过第一热塑性薄膜和第二热塑性薄膜层压在第一玻璃板和第二玻璃板之间。所述热塑性薄膜在此确保该多层薄膜的载体薄膜在该复合玻璃板的玻璃质玻璃板上的粘合。
所述第一热塑性薄膜和第二热塑性薄膜通过其热塑性性质适合于制造与彼此和与相邻玻璃板和/或相邻功能元件的粘附接合。在层压操作时,该热塑性薄膜在热作用下开始流动,由此使其粘附在相邻元件上,既与其、也与彼此接合。优选地,第一和第二热塑性薄膜含有聚乙烯醇缩丁醛(PVB)、乙烯乙酸乙烯酯(EVA)和/聚氨酯(PU),特别优选PVB。该材料对于复合玻璃板的热塑性中间层而言是常见的,并且建立与玻璃的粘附接合。因此确保良好接合。
第一玻璃板或/或第二玻璃板优选包含玻璃,特别优选平板玻璃、浮法玻璃、石英玻璃、硼硅酸盐玻璃、钠钙玻璃或清澈塑料,优选刚性清澈塑料,尤其是聚碳酸酯、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯和/或其混合物。第一玻璃板和/或第二玻璃板优选是透明的,特别是对于将该玻璃板用作车辆的挡风玻璃板或后玻璃板的用途或其中希望高透光率的其它用途。在本发明的意义上,透明此时是指在可见光谱范围内具有大于70%的透射率的玻璃板。但是对于不在驾驶员的交通相关视野内的玻璃板,例如对于顶玻璃板而言,透射率也可以小得多,例如大于5%。原则上,在第一玻璃板和第二玻璃板的外侧表面上可以布置任意的其它玻璃板,并且与其在其间插入热塑性薄膜的情况下通过层压、或在隔热玻璃的情况下通过间隔件来接合。
第一玻璃板和/或第二玻璃板的厚度为 0.3 mm至25 mm,其中玻璃板厚度在很大程度上取决于玻璃板的应用。
对于建筑物玻璃领域的应用而言,玻璃板厚度可以例如具有2 mm至10 mm的厚度。
特别是在汽车领域中,近年来已经记录了朝着越来越小玻璃厚度的趋势,从而可以在车辆重量方面节省。汽车玻璃,特别是挡风玻璃板的玻璃板厚度对于内玻璃板而言通常为0.3 mm至2.5 mm,对于外玻璃板而言0.8 mm至2.5 mm。其中外玻璃板厚度大于内玻璃板厚度的非对称厚度组合特别是在小的总厚度的情况下在复合玻璃板的改进的稳定性方面有利。
在一个优选的实施方案中,复合玻璃板是挡风玻璃板,其中外玻璃板的厚度为0.8mm至2.1 mm,内玻璃板的厚度为0.5 mm至1.8 mm。
在本发明的另一优选实施方案中,复合玻璃板是机动车的顶玻璃板,其中外玻璃板的厚度为1.1 mm至2.1 mm,内玻璃板的厚度为0.5 mm至1.6 mm。
所述复合玻璃在其作为车辆玻璃的实施方案中优选在空间的一个或多个方向上弯曲,这对于机动车玻璃板而言是常见的,其中典型的曲率半径为约10 cm至约40 m。但是,例如如果其被设置作为公共汽车、火车、拖拉机的玻璃板或作为建筑物玻璃,则该复合玻璃也可以是平坦的。
第一玻璃板和/或第二玻璃板可以是经施加热或化学预应力、部分施加预应力或未施加预应力的。
所述复合玻璃还可以配备有额外功能,这通过使热塑性中间层具有功能性嵌入物,例如具有IR吸收、UV吸收、赋色或声学性能的嵌入物来实现。所述嵌入物是例如有机或无机离子、化合物、聚集体、分子、晶体、颜料或染料。
特别是在将本发明的复合玻璃板用于车辆中,例如作为挡风玻璃板时,有利的是执行额外功能,以减少气候影响例如强烈的太阳辐射或结冰的负面影响。为此,可以例如将所谓的低辐射涂层和/或可加热涂层施加在内玻璃板或外玻璃板的内侧上。可电加热涂层(其也充当低辐射涂层)的合适材料组合物例如可从WO 2013/104439和WO 2013/104438获知。
本发明进一步通过制造具有可电切换的光学性能的本发明多层薄膜的方法来实现。在此,首先提供包含以面形式以下列次序布置的第一载体薄膜、第一导电层、活性层、第二导电层和第二载体薄膜的多层薄膜。在该多层薄膜中,产生作为通孔的至少一个第一缺口。该缺口可以用技术人员已知的各种切割技术来产生。所述缺口优选通过冲压或激光切割来产生。该至少一个第一缺口用导电填充物料填充,其中导电填充物料基本上完全填满缺口。由此,导电填充物料与第一导电层直接接触,或者当缺口被制造为通孔时,也与层堆叠体的第二导电层直接接触。在用导电填充物料填充该缺口之前或之后,在第一载体薄膜的外表面上在第一缺口区域中施加第一汇流排。在此,该导电填充物料与第一汇流排电接触。
在该方法的一个优选实施方案中,在产生第一缺口之前、之中或之后还产生至少一个第二缺口。在第二缺口的区域中,以通孔的形式除去载体薄膜、活性层和导电层。所述至少一个第二缺口用导电填充物料填充,并且在第二载体薄膜的外表面上在导电填充物料的区域中施加第二汇流排并与该导电填充物料电接触。这两个步骤的次序是可变的。因此,至少第二导电层通过导电填充物料与第二汇流排接触。
优选地,在填充缺口之前将汇流排铺设在其上。缺口的各一个开口因此被汇流排封闭。导电填充物料的填充在此通过缺口的未被汇流排覆盖的开口来进行。这是有利的,因为填充物料在其未固化状态下粘附在覆盖该缺口的相邻汇流排上并在此也与其电接触。因此不需要用于汇流排和导电填充物料的电接触的额外步骤。
对此替代地,汇流排也可以通过技术人员已知的其它措施,例如导电胶粘剂或焊接接点而与填充物料导电连接。
如果根据本发明以通孔的形式产生第一和第二缺口,则引入该缺口的填充物料首先与第一和第二导电层接触。在该缺口的附近,在这一情况下在两个导电层之一中产生去涂层的分隔线。在此如此引入该分割线,以使得一个第一或多个第一缺口仅与所述导电层之一接触且一个第二或多个第二缺口仅与另一导电层接触。导电层中的各分隔线的去涂层优选地通过激光束进行。
所述分隔线可以在该方法的任意位置产生。在此,分隔线优选借助于激光穿过与要处理的导电层最接近的载体薄膜来产生。用于将该分隔线引入导电层中的激光的激光辐射的波长适合于如此选择,以使得导电层具有足够高的激光辐射吸收并且载体薄膜具有足够低的激光辐射吸收。由此,将分隔线有利地选择性地引入导电层中,而不损坏载体薄膜。在此应注意,由于激光辐射的聚焦,导电层中的功率密度明显大于载体层中。
已经被证明有利的是,将产生分隔线时的激光辐射的波长选择为150nm至1200nm,优选200nm至500nm,特别优选250nm至400nm。已经发现,在使用常规的导电层和常规的载体薄膜时,该波长范围特别合适。在此选择激光的波长范围,以使得分隔线被选择性地引入到导电层中。
在方法步骤a)之前,通过本身已知的方法将第一和第二导电层沉积在载体薄膜上。例如,在此应参考磁场辅助阴极溅射。就基底的简单、快速、成本有利和均匀的涂覆而言,这是特别有利的。然而,也可以例如通过蒸镀、化学气相沉积(化学气相沉积、CVD)、等离子体辅助气相沉积(PECVD)或通过湿化学方法来施加该导电涂层。
施加活性层例如SPD、PDLC、电致变色或电致发光层的方法是技术人员已知的,并且在文献中被充分描述。
可以借助于技术人员已知的方法将在本发明的方法中制造的多层薄膜集成在复合玻璃板中。
所述复合玻璃板的第一和第二玻璃板可以弯曲,例如在用作车辆玻璃时。该玻璃板可以单独或共同地弯曲。优选地,该玻璃板共同(即同时并通过同一模具)一致地弯曲,因为由此使玻璃板的形状对于随后进行的层压而言彼此最佳匹配。
如果该复合玻璃板应充当弯曲的车辆玻璃,则至少使得用作外玻璃板的玻璃板在层压之前经历弯曲过程。在一个优选的实施方案中,用作内玻璃板的玻璃板也经历弯曲过程。这特别是在空间的多个方向上强烈弯曲(所谓的三维弯曲)时是有利的。
替代地,不预先弯曲用作内玻璃板的玻璃板。这特别是在具有非常小厚度的玻璃板时是有利的,因为它们具有薄膜状的柔性并且因此可以与预弯曲的外玻璃板匹配,而本身不必被预弯曲。
第一玻璃板和第二玻璃板接合以产生复合玻璃板是优选在热、真空和/或压力的作用下进行的。可以使用制造复合玻璃板的本身已知的方法。
例如,所谓的高压釜法可以在约10 bar至15 bar的升高的压力和130℃至145℃的温度下进行约2小时。本身已知的真空袋法或真空环法例如在约200 mbar和80℃至110℃下操作。也可以将第一玻璃板、热塑性薄膜、至少局部存在的多层薄膜和第二玻璃板在压延机中在至少一对辊之间压制以产生玻璃板。已知这种类型的设备用于制备玻璃板并且通常在压机之前具有至少一个加热通道。压制过程中的温度例如为40℃至150℃。在实践中,压延法和高压釜法的组合被证明是特别有利的。替代地,可以使用真空层压机。它们由一个或多个可加热且可抽真空的室组成,其中第一玻璃板和第二玻璃板在例如约60分钟内在0.01mbar至800 mbar的减压和80℃至170℃的温度下层压。
本发明的另一方面包括本发明复合玻璃板在建筑物中,特别是在通道区域、窗户区域、屋顶区域或立面区域中,作为家具和器具中的构件,在水陆空的交通运输工具中,特别是在火车、轮船和机动车中,例如作为挡风玻璃板、后玻璃板、侧玻璃板和/或顶玻璃板的用途。

图1a和1b显示了具有可电切换的光学性能的本发明的多层薄膜1。多层薄膜1包括第一载体薄膜5和第二载体薄膜6,其中在第一载体薄膜5的表面上施加第一导电层3,而第二载体薄膜6的表面具有第二导电层4。在导电层3、4之间存在活性层2。活性层2是PDLC层。载体薄膜5、6各自由厚度为200 µm的PET薄膜组成。 导电层3、4是层体系,它们例如含有三个导电银层,它们被介电层彼此隔开。在多层薄膜1的两个彼此相对的边缘的附近,沿着一个边缘安装一排第一缺口7.1,并且沿着相对边缘安装一排第二缺口7.2。在缺口7的区域中,完全除去由第一载体薄膜5、第一导电层3、活性层2、第二导电层4和载体薄膜6形成的层堆叠体。 因此,第一缺口7.1和第二缺口7.2被制成通孔。缺口7的直径为6mm,并且沿着各自的汇流排9基本平行于多层薄膜1的最接近边缘布置。第一缺口7.1彼此(与各自最接近的相邻缺口)具有约为16.7 mm的距离。与此类似,第二缺口7.2同样彼此具有约16.7 mm的距离。在第一缺口7.1的区域中,将第一汇流排9.1施加在第一载体薄膜5的外表面上。第一汇流排9.1在此遮盖所有第一缺口7.1。在这个意义上,载体薄膜的外表面是指背离活性层的表面。在第二载体薄膜6的外表面上,缺口7.1是暴露的并且未被汇流排遮盖。通过该开口,将导电填充物料8(这里是银印刷膏)填充到第一缺口7.1中。导电填充物料8基本上完全填充第一缺口7.1。填充物料和多层薄膜1的截面之间的过渡在此不必一定是直线延伸的。取决于多层薄膜1和填充物料8的构造,银印刷膏可以局部受限地推进到多层薄膜1中,例如活性层2中。因此,在填充物料8和多层薄膜1之间存在大的接触面,由此确保了良好的机械和电连接。填充物料8将第一导电层3和第二导电层4与第一汇流排9.1导电接触。与此类似,在第二缺口7.2的区域中,第二汇流排9.2施加在第二载体薄膜6的外表面上。第二汇流排9.2遮盖了所有第二缺口7.2。在第一载体薄膜5的与第二汇流排9.2相对的外表面上,缺口7.2是暴露的。在此同样,该开口可用于用银印刷膏形式的导电填充物料8填充。导电填充物料8基本上完全填充第二缺口7.2,并且还可以如对于第一缺口7.1所述扩散到多层薄膜1的部分中。第二缺口7.2内的填充物料8在第一导电层3、第二导电层4和第二汇流排9.2之间建立电接触。为了避免两个汇流排9的直接电接触和与之相伴的短路,所述导电层的各一个与汇流排的各一个电绝缘,以使得每个汇流排仅与一个导电层接触。在这种情况下,在第一导电层3中引入分隔线10,其将包括第二缺口7.2的电绝缘边缘区域16与层3的其余主要面分隔。因此,在引入分隔线10之后,第一导电层3的主要面和第二汇流排9.2之间不存在电接触。第一导电层3的主要面在此是位于其中的分隔线10和第一缺口9.1之间的面。与此类似地,在第二导电层4中引入分隔线10,其将包括第一缺口7.1的电绝缘边缘区域16与导电层4的其余主要面分隔。因此,在引入分隔线10之后,在第二导电层4的主要面和第一汇流排9.1之间也不存在电接触。分隔线10的宽度为200 µm。第二导电层4的主要面在此是位于其中的分隔线10和第二缺口9.2之间的面。在接触导电层时,通常应确保每个导电层被分配正好一个汇流排。该汇流排可以可选地布置在相同的载体薄膜上,或如图1b所示定位在不同的载体薄膜上。沿缺口7基本上平行于多层薄膜1的外边缘测量的汇流排9的长度为200 mm。本情况的多层薄膜应用作机动车挡风玻璃板中的遮阳板。布置汇流排9,以使得其在将多层薄膜层压在复合玻璃板中并将该复合玻璃板作为挡风玻璃板安装在机动车车身中之后沿着与A柱相邻的玻璃板边缘延伸。沿着第一汇流排9.1安装12个第一缺口7.1,而沿着第二汇流排9.2与此类似地存在12个第二缺口7.2。以这种方式,可以确保各自的导电层3、4的良好接触并实现均匀的电流分布。
所述多层薄膜的导电层通过层截面的本发明的电接触确保了机械稳定的接触。此外,避免了导电层的损坏。相比之下,在现有技术中由于在边缘区域中手动回切层堆叠体并随后除去活性层而通常出现待暴露的导电层的损坏。通常通过用溶剂擦拭来除去该活性层,其中例如PDLC层中包含的液晶可能在位于下面的导电层中留下刮痕。此外,该步骤难以自动化,因为需要最高程度的谨慎,以一方面确保完全除去活性层和另一方面避免导电层的所述损坏。活性层的残留物和刮痕两者都会明显影响接触品质。本发明的多层薄膜和本发明的方法优于这一情况,因为确保了高的接触品质而没有可能的层损坏,并且可以以简单的方式和方法使多层薄膜的制造自动化。
根据图1a和1b的本发明的多层薄膜可以用于技术人员已知且常用的包括具有可电控光学性能的多层薄膜的复合玻璃板中。该多层薄膜本身的尺寸和汇流排的长度在此取决于所需的应用大小。具有可切换的光学性能的多层薄膜例如用作挡风玻璃板中的遮阳板。在此,多层薄膜仅用于复合玻璃板的需要可控光学性能的部分中。在用作遮阳板的应用中,相对于挡风玻璃板的安装状态,其通常是邻近车身顶边缘的玻璃板上方部分。这样的遮阳板的高度例如为20 cm。相应地进行多层薄膜的切割。然而,还已知其中多层薄膜大面积地集成到复合玻璃板中的应用。这例如包括作为机动车的玻璃顶的复合玻璃板。在这样的情况下,通常在复合玻璃板的整个透光区域中引入PDLC-元件。如上所述,本发明在所有这些实施例中改进了电接触。
图2显示了本发明的复合玻璃板11,其中根据图1a和1b的多层薄膜1借助于两个热塑性薄膜14、15层压在两个玻璃板12、13之间。图2的视图对应于复合玻璃板的截面,其类似于沿着图1a中所示的切割线AA'的截面。在第一玻璃板12上铺设第一热塑性薄膜14,在热塑性薄膜14上接着根据图1a和1b的多层薄膜1。多层薄膜1被第二热塑性薄膜15遮盖,并且层堆叠体被第二玻璃板13封闭。热塑性薄膜14、15具有各0.76mm的厚度并且由PVB组成。玻璃板12和13由玻璃组成。多层薄膜1也可以仅插入复合玻璃板11的一部分中。对此优选的应用实例是将本发明的多层薄膜用作挡风玻璃板的带状过滤器。在这种情况下,多层薄膜1将仅在该复合玻璃板的与相对于玻璃的安装状态而言的顶边缘相邻的区域中插入该薄膜复合体中。在挡风玻璃板的其余区域中,玻璃板12、13仅通过热塑性薄膜14、15接合。当然,可以存在任选的额外元件,例如其它可电切换的多层薄膜或其它功能元件。为了简单描绘,图2中未示出复合玻璃板的三维弯曲。但是,特别是在将复合玻璃板用作车辆玻璃时,其优选存在。在缺口区域中,玻璃板12、13可以任选地配备有不透明涂层17。其掩盖缺口和汇流排,以使得它们对于观察者而言不可见。借助于黑色印刷物的这种掩盖是技术人员熟悉的。
图3显示了本发明方法的优选实施方案,其包括步骤:

根据步骤II引入分隔线可以在该方法的任意时间点进行。优选地,在提供多层薄膜之后立即引入分隔线,因为这一时间点的多层薄膜具有完全平坦的表面并且绝没有诸如汇流排之类的其它部件。这使得自动化激光处理变得容易,尤其是就自动化薄膜输送而言。
所得的本发明多层薄膜1通过填充物料8而具有导电层3、4的机械稳定且可靠的电接触。汇流排9.1、9.2与外部电压源的连接导致施加在导电层3、4上的电压。导电层3、4充当位于其间的活性层2的平面电极。第一汇流排9.1在此与第二导电层4接触,而第一导电层3被第二汇流排9.2接触。

11.根据权利要求1或2的多层薄膜(1),其中第一载体薄膜(5)和/或第二载体薄膜(6)含有至少一种在高压釜过程中未完全熔融的聚合物。
12.根据权利要求11的多层薄膜(1),其中所述至少一种在高压釜过程中未完全熔融的聚合物是聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯。
13.根据权利要求1或2的多层薄膜(1),其中活性层(2)是SPD、PDLC、电致变色或电致发光层。
14.复合玻璃板(11),其包括以面形式相互层压的下列部件:
-第一玻璃板(12),
-第一热塑性薄膜(14),
-根据权利要求1至13任一项的多层薄膜(1),
-第二热塑性薄膜(15),
-第二玻璃板(13)。
15.制造根据权利要求1至13任一项的具有可电切换的光学性能的多层薄膜(1)的方法,其包括
a)提供多层薄膜(1),
b)在多层薄膜(1)中产生至少一个以通孔形式的第一缺口(7.1),
c)将所述至少一个第一缺口(7.1)用导电填充物料(8)填充,
d)在第一载体薄膜(5)的外表面上在第一缺口(7.1)的区域中施加第一汇流排(9.1),
其中步骤d)可以在步骤c)之前或之后进行,并且其中至少第一导电层(3)通过导电填充物料(8)与第一汇流排(9.1)电接触,
其中在步骤b)之前、之中或之后在多层薄膜(1)的主要面中产生至少一个作为通孔的第二缺口(7.2),
将所述至少一个第二缺口(7.2)用导电填充物料(8)填充,
在第二载体薄膜(6)的外表面上在导电填充物料(8)的区域中施加第二汇流排(9.2)并与导电填充物料(8)电接触,
其中至少第二导电层(4)通过导电填充物料(8)与第二汇流排(9.2)接触。
16.根据权利要求1至13任一项的多层薄膜在机动车玻璃中、在内部区域或外部区域的建筑物玻璃中的用途。
17.根据权利要求1至13任一项的多层薄膜在被制造为复合玻璃板的机动车玻璃中的用途。
