Abstract

一种电连接器,其包括端子模组及包覆在所述端子模组外侧的绝缘本体,所述端子模组包括绝缘块及固持于所述绝缘块的若干导电端子,所述绝缘本体包括基部及自所述基部向前延伸的对接舌板,每一导电端子设有暴露在所述对接舌板表面的接触部及向后延伸出所述基部的接脚,所绝缘本体包括注塑成型包覆在所述端子模组外侧的上绝缘体及位于所述上绝缘体底面的下绝缘体,所述下绝缘体通过注塑成型从而在其与所述上绝缘体的结合处形成环绕所述电连接器外侧一圈的注塑分界线,所述若干导电端子的接触部在竖直方向上均位于所述注塑分界线的上方。本发明电连接器通过分别注塑成型上绝缘体及下绝缘体从而避免在电连接器的表面设置有定位孔。

Description

电连接器及其制造方法
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器及其制造方法,尤其涉及一种可避免在电连接器表面设置定位孔的电连接器。
【背景技术】
中国发明第CN104283035B号专利揭示了一种电连接器,其包括外壳及收容于外壳内的端子模组,所述外壳具有向前延伸的对接部及自外壳后端面凹设的容置腔,所述对接部的一个侧面为对接面,端子模组包括绝缘体及固持于绝缘体的导电端子,由于该电连接器的端子模组是自后向前插入对接腔内,端子模组与外壳之间存有空隙导致端子模组容易晃动,从而影响电连接器对接的稳定性。但是如果将外壳与端子模组注塑成一体,则会在电连接器的表面会形成有注塑成型时用来定位的定位孔。
基于所述的现有技术,确有必要对现有的电连接器进行改进。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于:提供一种可避免在电连接器表面设置定位孔的电连接器。
为了解决上述技术问题,本发明的技术方案如下:
一种电连接器,其包括端子模组及包覆在所述端子模组外侧的绝缘本体,所述端子模组包括绝缘块及固持于所述绝缘块的若干导电端子,所述绝缘本体包括基部及自所述基部向前延伸的对接舌板,每一导电端子设有暴露在所述对接舌板表面的接触部及向后延伸出所述基部的接脚,所绝缘本体包括注塑成型包覆在所述端子模组外侧的上绝缘体及位于所述上绝缘体底面的下绝缘体,所述下绝缘体通过注塑成型从而在其与所述上绝缘体的结合处形成环绕所述电连接器外侧一圈的注塑分界线,所述若干导电端子的接触部在竖直方向上均位于所述注塑分界线的上方。
为了解决上述技术问题,本发明还可以采用如下技术方案:
一种电连接器的制造方法,其包括如下步骤:(1)提供一端子模组,所述端子模组包括若干导电端子及与所述若干导电端子一体成型的绝缘块,所述绝缘块设有贯穿其底面的定位孔;(2)以所述定位孔及绝缘块的底面定位,在所述端子模组的外侧注入绝缘材料而形成包覆所述端子模组的上绝缘体,所述上绝缘体包括上基部及自所述上基部向前延伸的上舌板,所述若干导电端子设有暴露于所述上舌板表面的接触部及向后延伸出所述上基部的接脚;(3)以所述上舌板及所述上基部定位,在所述上绝缘体底面的一侧注入绝缘材料凝固形成下绝缘体从而构成完整的电连接器,所述下绝缘体贴覆在所述上绝缘体的底面从而在所述上、下绝缘体的结合处形成环绕所述电连接器外侧一圈的注塑分界线,所述若干导电端子的接触部在竖直方向上均位于所述注塑分界线的上方。
与现有技术相比,本发明电连接器通过分别注塑成型上绝缘体及下绝缘体从而避免在电连接器的表面设置有定位孔。

如下具体实施方式将结合上述附图进一步说明本发明。
【具体实施方式】
请参考图1及图2所示,本发明揭示了一种电连接器100,其包括绝缘本体1及固持于所述绝缘本体1的一排导电端子2。所述绝缘本体1包括基部11及自所述基部11向前延伸的对接舌板12。所述对接舌板12包括对接面121、与所述对接面121相对设置的底面122、以及连接所述对接面121和底面122的两侧面123。结合图6所示,所述导电端子2设有暴露于所述对接面121的接触部21、向后延伸出所述基部11的接脚22、以及位于所述接触部21和接脚22之间的固持部23。
参考图4及图5所示,在一排导电端子2的外侧注塑绝缘材料凝固形成包覆固持所述导电端子2的绝缘块3。所述绝缘块3与所述导电端子2共同构成端子模组20。所述绝缘块3包括后基部31及自所述后基部31向前延伸的延伸部32。所述后基部31设有两排贯穿其顶面和底面的贯穿孔311及在前后方向上位于两排贯穿孔311之间的一排固定孔312。每一所述贯穿孔311在横向方向上(即端子排列方向)均位于相邻的两个固定孔312之间。所述固定孔312在竖直方向上位于所述固持部23的正上方且向上贯穿所述后基部31的顶面。所述固持部23部分暴露于所述固定孔312内。所述延伸部32在横向方向上的宽度小于所述后基部31在横向方向上的宽度。所述接触部21间隔暴露在所述延伸部32的顶面。所述延伸部32在对应所述接触部21处设有向前贯穿所述延伸部32前端面的开口槽321,所述开口槽321向下贯穿所述延伸部32的底面。所述开口槽321在前后方向上的凹陷深度小于所述接触部21在前后方向上的长度。参考图5所示,所述后基座31还设有一对贯穿其底面的定位孔313,所述定位孔313并未向上贯穿所述后基座31的顶面。
参考图3至图5所示,所述绝缘本体1包括注塑成型包覆在所述端子模组20外侧的上绝缘体5以及位于所述上绝缘体5下侧的下绝缘体6。结合图1所示,所述下绝缘体6通过在所述上绝缘体5的下侧注塑绝缘材料凝固从而贴覆在所述上绝缘体5的底面并在结合处形成环绕所述绝缘本体1外侧一圈的注塑分界线7。所述导电端子2均固持于所述上绝缘体5内从而使得所述接触部21在竖直方向上均位于所述注塑分界线7的上方。所述绝缘块3的底面暴露于所述上绝缘体5的底面从而使得所述定位孔313同样暴露在所述上绝缘体5的底面。所述下绝缘体6设有注塑成型时填封所述定位孔313的一对定位柱621。
所述上绝缘体5包括上基部51及自所述上基部51向前延伸的上舌板52。所述上舌板52设有自其顶面向下凹陷的对接区521,所述对接区521向前贯穿所述上舌板52的前端。所述导电端子2的接触部21暴露在所述对接区521内且所述接触部21的顶面与所述对接区521的底面平齐。所述上基部51的横向两端及所述上舌板52的前端两侧均设有自其底面向上凹陷的沟槽53,所述下绝缘体6设有注塑成型时填封所述沟槽53的凸柱63从而提升上、下绝缘体5、6之间的结合力。所述上绝缘体5还设有在注塑成型时分别填封所述贯穿孔311、固定孔312以及开口槽321的填封柱54从而提升所述上绝缘体5与端子模组20之间的结合力。
所述下绝缘体6包括下基部61及自所述下基部61向前延伸的下舌板62。所述下舌板62的底面为水平面且并未有任何导电端子2暴露于其上。所述上、下基部51、61共同构成所述基部11,所述上、下舌板52、62共同构成所述对接舌板12。所述对接面121即为所述上舌板52的顶面,所述对接舌板12的底面122即为所述下舌板62的底面。所述对接舌板12的两侧面123为相对设置的两圆弧面。所述上、下基部51、61分别设有自其后端向前贯穿的缺口槽511、611。结合图2及图6所示,两个所述缺口槽511、611共同构成一收容空间111,所述导电端子2的接脚22收容于所述收容空间111内。所述基部11设有后端面112,所述导电端子2的接脚22并未延伸超出所述后端面112。
以下将结合图1至图6详细介绍本发明电连接器100的制造方法,其包括如下步骤:
(1)提供一排导电端子2,所述导电端子2包括接触部21、自所述接触部21向后延伸的固持部23、以及自所述固持部23继续向后延伸再向下弯折的接脚22;
(2)在上述一排导电端子2的外侧注塑绝缘材料凝固形成固持所述导电端子2的绝缘块3,所述绝缘块3设有贯穿其底面的一对定位孔313;
(3)以所述定位孔313及绝缘块3的底面定位,在所述绝缘块3的外侧注塑绝缘材料凝固形成包覆所述绝缘块3的上绝缘体5,所述上绝缘体5设有上基部51及自所述上基部51向前延伸的上舌板52,所述上舌板52包括相对设置的顶面、底面及连接所述顶面和底面的两个半圆弧侧面,所述接触部21暴露于所述上舌板52的顶面;
(4)以所述上舌板52的两个半圆弧侧面及所述上基部定位,在所述上绝缘体5下侧注塑绝缘材料凝固形成下绝缘体6从而构成完整的电连接器100,所述下绝缘体6贴覆在所述上绝缘体5的底面从而在上、下绝缘体5、6的结合处形成环绕所述绝缘本体1外侧一圈的注塑分界线7。
与现有技术相比,本发明电连接器100通过二次注塑成型分别形成上绝缘体5及下绝缘体6,从而避免在所述电连接器100的外侧形成注塑成型时定位用的定位孔。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器,其包括端子模组及包覆在所述端子模组外侧的绝缘本体,所述端子模组包括绝缘块及固持于所述绝缘块的若干导电端子,所述绝缘本体包括基部及自所述基部向前延伸的对接舌板,每一导电端子设有暴露在所述对接舌板表面的接触部及向后延伸出所述基部的接脚,其特征在于:所绝缘本体包括注塑成型包覆在所述端子模组外侧的上绝缘体及位于所述上绝缘体底面的下绝缘体,所述下绝缘体通过注塑成型从而在其与所述上绝缘体的结合处形成环绕所述电连接器外侧一圈的注塑分界线,所述若干导电端子的接触部在竖直方向上均位于所述注塑分界线的上方。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘块通过注塑成型而将所述若干导电端子固持,所述绝缘块的底面暴露于所述上绝缘体的底面。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘块设有贯穿其底面的一对定位孔,所述下绝缘体设有填充所述定位孔的定位柱。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述上绝缘体包括上基部及自所述上基部向前延伸的上舌板,所述上舌板设有自其表面凹陷的对接区,所述对接区向前贯穿所述上舌板的前端,所述导电端子的接触部暴露在所述对接区内且所述接触部的表面与所述对接区的底面平齐。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述上基部及上舌板分别设有贯穿其底面的沟槽,所述下绝缘体设有填充所述沟槽的凸柱。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述下绝缘体包括下基部及自所述下基部向前延伸的下舌板,所述上、下基部共同构成所述基部,所述上、下舌板共同构成所述对接舌板,所述对接舌板包括相对设置的上表面和下表面以及连接所述上、下表面的两侧面,所述两侧面为相对设置的圆弧面。
7.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述基部设有后端面及自所述后端面向前贯穿的收容空间,所述若干导电端子的接脚收容于所述收容空间而未超过所述基部的后端面。
8.一种电连接器的制造方法,其包括如下步骤:
(1)提供一端子模组,所述端子模组包括若干导电端子及与所述若干导电端子一体成型的绝缘块,所述绝缘块设有贯穿其底面的定位孔;
(2)以所述定位孔及绝缘块的底面定位,在所述端子模组的外侧注入绝缘材料而形成包覆所述端子模组的上绝缘体,所述上绝缘体包括上基部及自所述上基部向前延伸的上舌板,所述若干导电端子设有暴露于所述上舌板表面的接触部及向后延伸出所述上基部的接脚;
(3)以所述上舌板及所述上基部定位,在所述上绝缘体底面的一侧注入绝缘材料凝固形成下绝缘体从而构成完整的电连接器,所述下绝缘体贴覆在所述上绝缘体的底面从而在所述上、下绝缘体的结合处形成环绕所述电连接器外侧一圈的注塑分界线,所述若干导电端子的接触部在竖直方向上均位于所述注塑分界线的上方。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器制造方法,其特征在于:在所述步骤(2)中所述上舌板包括上表面、与所述上表面相对的底面及连接所述上表面和底面的两圆弧面,在步骤(3)中是以所述两圆弧面及所述上基部定位从而注塑成型所述下绝缘体。
10.如权利要求8所述的电连接器制造方法,其特征在于:所述上绝缘体设有若干贯穿其底面的沟槽,所述下绝缘体设有填封所述沟槽的凸柱从而增强上、下绝缘体之间的结合力。
