Abstract

一种电连接器,其包括第一盖体、连接器本体、与连接器本体配接的线缆组、及与第一盖体前后配合用以收容连接器本体和线缆组的第二盖体,所述第一盖体形成有扣持臂,所述第二盖体形成有扣持收容槽,其中扣持臂与扣持收容槽卡持以实现第一盖体与第二盖体的配合。通过第一盖体的扣持臂设计,可实现与第二盖体的稳定固接,即使在震动环境中或频繁插接,亦不会松脱。

电连接器
【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,更具体地说,涉及一种各元件之间可靠固持的电连接器。
【背景技术】
随着通讯与计算机技术的发展,各种电连接器应用于电子设备之间以构建若干信号传输路径。
与本实用新型相关的现有技术可参照2001年1月9日公告的美国发明专利第6,171,136B1号所揭示的公型USB(Universal Serial Bus)电连接器,该USB电连接器包括连接器本体、与连接器本体配接的连接器线缆、二绝缘包覆构件、前套体及垫片。其中二绝缘包覆构件从两侧配合部分包覆连接器本体及连接器线缆,前套体从连接器本体前端套合二绝缘包覆构件,二垫片分别容置于连接器本体与前套体之间并抵持两者,从而在组装后使上述元件达到稳定固持。
然而,由于上述电连接器在使用中需频繁插接,易因松脱、震动或其它情况使前套体从二绝缘包覆构件上滑落,而造成电连接器的各部分元件遗失,不利于电连接器之间的稳定机械及电性连接,同时也会缩短该类电连接器的使用寿命。
因此,有必要设计一种新的电连接器以克服目前的不足。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种具有扣持装置的电连接器,从而使电连接器各元件可靠固持。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括第一盖体、连接器本体、与连接器本体配接的线缆组、及与第一盖体前后配合用以收容连接器本体和线缆组的第二盖体,所述第一盖体形成有扣持臂,所述第二盖体形成有扣持收容槽,其中扣持臂与扣持收容槽卡持以实现第一盖体与第二盖体的配合。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型的电连接器通过第一盖体的扣持臂设计,可实现与第二盖体的稳定固接,即使在震动环境中或频繁插接,亦不会松脱。

【具体实施方式】
请参照图1至图3所示,本实用新型电连接器1包括:第一盖体10、连接器本体20、与连接器本体20配接的电路板4、遮蔽连接器本体20的金属壳体5、与第一盖体10配合形成收容空间(未标号)用以收容连接器本体20和金属壳体5的第二盖体6、及与连接器本体20和电路板4配接之线缆组7等构件,其中金属壳体5包括第一壳体50和与之配合之第二壳体59,第二盖体6包括上盖体60和与之配合的下盖体61。
第一盖体10呈矩形框口状,包括纵长方向延伸的基部11、及自基部11後端面两侧向后延伸的一对扣持臂13,基部11中间贯穿形成有开口12,后部设置有与开口12呈阶梯状的收容口15,及设于扣持臂13内侧并与收容口15相通的收容槽14。扣持臂13呈钩状,用以产生良好的固持力。
结合参阅图1-6,连接器本体20包括呈T字状绝缘本体21、收容于绝缘本体21内的若干导电端子3、及遮蔽在绝缘本体21外的金属框架22。绝缘本体21包括矩形本体部23及自本体部23向前凸伸的舌板24,若干端子收容槽(未标号)贯穿本体部23及以舌板24容纳导电端子3于其中。金属框架22设置有与本体部23和舌板24分别配合的矩形框架体220和凸伸片体221,该金属框架22与绝缘本体20配合,并通过设置在本体部23上凸块230和矩形框架体220上的开口223来实现固持。另外,金属框架22还设置若干自矩形框架体220后端向后延伸的若干定位片222,在本实施例中,矩形框架体220上下壁及两侧壁皆设置有定位片222。参图6,导电端子3设置有用以与对接连接器配接的对接部30和用以与电路板4焊接的尾部31。
电路板4呈矩形片体,其在内部设置有若干通孔(未标号)用以容纳端子3的尾部31并与之焊接,其在周边设置有与定位片222对应的若干缺口40,用以藉定位片222固持电路板4。注意的是,缺口40与电路板4上接地回路相连接,从而另一方面可提供金属框体22与电路板4之间的接地功能。电路板4沿垂直于端子3延伸方向的方向与连接器本体20配接,可以固定并排列端子3,另可节约其所占空间。
第一壳体50由一金属片体冲压或弯折形成,包括上壁51和垂直上壁51的两侧壁52,上壁51向前凸伸有T形片53。第二壳体59构形与第一壳体50相似,包括下壁58,与之垂直的两侧壁57及自下壁58向后延伸形成的弯折片55,不同的是,其每一侧壁向前凸伸有T形片56。弯折片55与第一壳体50配合用以固持线缆组7并与线缆组7中的接地层电性连接实现接地。参图6,金属壳体5分别从连接器本体20两侧配接到其后端,第二壳体59上两T形片56在电路板4安装到连接器本体20后卡持在缺口40内,第一壳体50半包围第二壳体59,从而实现金属壳体5与电路板4的固定。
线缆组7,包括与电路板4通孔中的端子尾部31焊接的芯线70、包覆在芯线70外的接地层(未标号)、包覆在接地层外的应力释放部71,所述应力释放部71向两侧凸伸设置有卡持片体72。
第二盖体6塑胶成型,上盖体60与下盖体61结构大体相似,不同的是其后端收容线缆组7的外模构形。上、下盖体60、61皆通过上、下壁及侧壁形成收容空间,其中在邻近侧壁的前端设置有倒L形肋部65、66,该肋部65、66分别与侧壁形成与扣持臂13对应的扣持收容槽63、64,并向前延伸形成有超出上、下壁前端面的固定片650、660。
组装时,先将电路板4组装至连接器本体20,焊接线缆组7至电路板4及端子3尾部31,将金属壳体5卡扣到连接器本体20、电路板4及线缆组7上,并通过两侧T形片56与电路板4上缺口40固持,再从上述组合体上下两侧配接上、下盖体60、61,使之包容连接器本体20后端、电路板4、金属壳体5和线缆组7的前端,其中所述扣持收容槽63、64互相对应,形成可容纳扣持臂13之空间,所述线缆组7藉卡持片体72与上、下盖体60、61后壁的抵持防止线缆组7被过度拉伸并影响芯线70与端子3的焊接。在本实施例中,上、下盖体60、61通过预先涂于其四侧的粘性材料所粘合。当然,在不背离本实用新型构思基础上,上、下盖体60、61可通过塑胶成型方式直接在前述组合体上,并且形成一体,同样的是,该一体成型的盖体6亦设置用以与扣持臂13配合的扣持收容槽,当然,采用一体成型的方式制程简单,且配合相较于粘性粘合的两件式更牢固。
最后,与第一盖体10配合,所述连接器本体20的舌板24自开口12贯穿直至绝缘本体21前端面收容在收容口15内,在配接过程中,扣持臂13利用肋部65、66的弹性扩展插入扣持收容槽63、64中,并通过肋部65、66的回复力和干涉与之扣持,实现第一盖体10与第二盖体6的连接,即使频繁插接或震动环境下,亦不会脱落,且第二盖体6的固定片660、650分别卡入收容槽14内,在垂直方向上固定第二盖体6以防止上、下晃动。
本实用新型通过第一盖体10的扣持臂13设计,可实现与第二盖体6的稳定固定。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器,其包括第一盖体、连接器本体、与连接器本体配接的线缆组、及与第一盖体前后配合用以收容连接器本体和线缆组的第二盖体,其特征在于:所述第一盖体形成有扣持臂,第二盖体形成有扣持收容槽,其中扣持臂与扣持收容槽卡持以实现第一盖体与第二盖体的配合。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述连接器本体包括金属框架、收容于金属框架内的绝缘本体及收容于绝缘本体内的导电端子,所述导电端子与线缆组相焊接。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器还包括设置有T形片并遮蔽连接器本体的金属壳体,及设置有缺口并与连接器本体配接的电路板,所述T形片卡持于缺口。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电路板与电连接器的对接方向呈垂直。
5.如权利要求1或2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器还包括与连接器本体前后方向配接的电路板,所述导电端子垂直插入电路板上的通孔并与线缆组焊接。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一盖体包括位于扣持臂内侧的收容槽,所述第二盖体包括设置有延伸超过第二盖体前端面的固定片,所述固定片收容于扣持臂的收容槽内。
7.如权利要求1或6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二盖体设置有肋部,所述肋部与第二盖体侧壁围绕形成倒L形的扣持收容槽。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二盖体包括上盖体、及与上盖体分别从连接器本体上下两侧包容连接器本体的下盖体。
9.如权利要求1或8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述扣持臂呈钩形,所述扣持收容槽形成有与扣持臂对应的构形,所述扣持臂沿前后方向与扣持收容槽卡扣。
10.如权利要求1、2或8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述连接器本体包括设置有定位片的金属框架,所述电连接器包括设置有缺口并与连接器本体配接的电路板及设置有T形片的金属壳体,所述定位片及T形片卡持在缺口内,所述T形片位于定位片外侧。
