Abstract

本实用新型是一种模组连接器,包括有绝缘壳体、设置于绝缘壳体内的空腔及若干个延伸至空腔与从绝缘壳体后侧面的下部延伸出的电线相连接的端子。另,于绝缘壳体后侧面中部整体形成有固持体,该固持体上设有若干个沟槽,以收容相应数目的电线,借该固持体的设置可节省邻接于模组连接器的绝缘壳体后侧面的部分印刷电路板上的使用空间。

Description

模组连接器
本实用新型是一种模组连接器,尤指一种具有固持体,能夹持连接器延伸出的电线的模组连接器。
模组连接器是通常应用于通讯设备的电连接器,此种连接器安装于印刷电路板上,而与它连接的电线则延伸入通讯设备内占据印刷电路板上相当大的空间。由于电子工业不断趋向小型化发展,因此必须有效节省印刷电路板上的空间。
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种模组连接器,该模组连接器具有整体形成于其后侧面的固持体,用来夹持从模组连接器的绝缘壳体内延伸出的电线。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:模组连接器包括有绝缘壳体、设置于绝缘壳体内的空腔及若干个延伸至空腔与从绝缘壳体后侧面下部延伸出的电线连接的端子。另,于绝缘壳体后侧面中部整体形成有固持体,该固持体上设有若干个沟槽,以收容相应数目的电线,借该固持体的设置,可节省邻接于模组连接器的绝缘壳体后侧面的部分印刷电路板上的使用空间。
由于采用上述方案,本实用新型具有能固持电线、少占用电路板空间等优点。
下面结合附图和实施例对本实用新型作进一步说明。
图1是本实用新型模组连接器及印刷电路板的前视立体图。
图2是该模组连接器安装于印刷电路板上的后视立体图。
请参照图1和图2所示,本实用新型模组连接器10包括有绝缘壳体12,且该绝缘本体沿着相对的较低侧面处设有沟槽14,而绝缘壳体12是能以这个部分固持于设置在印刷电路板18上的缺口16内,进而被收容于一电子设备(未图示)体。另,绝缘壳体12内设有空腔20,该空腔暴露于电子设备外部,以收容对接的插头连接器(未图示)。若干个端子22的一端延伸至空腔20内,可与插头连接器的端子电性连接,而端子22的另一端则与自绝缘壳体12后侧面26的下部延伸出的电线24电性连接。
固持体28一体形成于绝缘壳体12后侧面26中间部分,该固持体28设有若干道沟槽30,以收纳相应数目的电线24,而具有适当弹性的夹持体32则设置于相邻沟槽30之间,借以固持电线24。另,开口34设于相邻的夹持体32之间,且每一沟槽30均穿过相应的开口34与绝缘壳体12外侧相连通,其中开口34的尺寸小于沟槽30,而每根电线24以强制插入方式穿过相应沟槽30的开口34,此时夹持体32受力向外张开,直到电线24被收容于相应的沟槽30体。然后将电线24电性连接至印刷电路板18上的相应元件(未图示)。
固持体28的设置可节省邻接模组连接器10绝缘壳体12后侧面26的印刷电路板18上的使用空间。因此,其它电气元件能够更加靠近模组连接器10绝缘壳体12的后侧面26安装,而不会与电线24发生接触。

Claims (4)

1.一种模组连接器,包括:绝缘壳体,设有用于收容对接插头连接器的空腔;若干个端子延伸至空腔内,与自绝缘壳体后侧面延伸出的电线电性连接;其特征在于在绝缘壳体后侧面一体形成设有固持体,固持体设有若干个沟槽。
2.根据权利要求1所述的模组连接器,其特征是夹持体形成于相邻沟槽之间,且具适当的弹性以固持电线。
3.根据权利要求2所述的模组连接器,其特征是在相邻夹持体之间设有开口,且每个沟槽均通过相应开口与绝缘壳体外部相连通。
4.根据权利要求3所述的模组连接器,其特征是开口的尺寸比沟槽小。
