Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种非交联的预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物,其在重量上包含至少10%的一种或多种多嵌段弹性体和热膨胀性聚合物颗粒,所述多嵌段弹性体包括至少一个软嵌段和至少一个硬嵌段。
本发明还涉及制备根据本发明的膨胀弹性体组合物的方法。

最后,本发明还涉及一种密封唇,其可用于需要密封性能的各种领域。
背景技术
在汽车领域,总的趋势是减轻车辆以减少车辆的燃料消耗,同时通过减少制造车辆所需的材料量来降低车辆的单位成本。
车辆的塑料部件、特别是密封件,并没有逃离这种趋势。
这种减轻塑料部件的趋势在建筑、家电和包装领域也是如此。
降低塑料材料密度同时保持其完整尺寸的主要技术在于扩展所述材料。
为此,本领域技术人员主要掌握两种技术:将气体直接注入材料的挤出/注入管线中和使用以母料的形式的化学或物理膨胀剂,即分别加入主要组合物。
第一种技术(气体注入)有许多缺点:它需要昂贵的设备和实施方面的专业知识。
第二种技术也不是完美的,因为它需要第二计量器,这对于设备制造商是相当罕见的设备。此外,必须管理母料(色母粒)的精确剂量这一事实在品质方面导致所产生的部件的最终密度的一定分散性。
更明确地,化学膨胀剂是化学化合物,其在热的作用下分解并产生气体,通常是分子氮或二氧化碳。
物理膨胀剂通常由填充有热膨胀流体的中空聚合物颗粒组成。
在包括加热弹性体基质的塑料材料制备期间,物理膨胀聚合物颗粒在由于流体膨胀引起的压力增加的作用下膨胀,直至达到一定的尺寸,从而形成膨胀弹性体组合物的孔隙性。
密封件的特定应用涉及用于窗玻璃、门或箱子的密封件,更具体地为实现窗玻璃、门或箱子与结构的其余部分之间的接触的称为密封“唇”部分。
密封唇必须具有特定的特性。更具体地说,它必须在压缩后具有尽可能少的残余变形,以确保窗玻璃、门或箱子与结构的其余部分之间的最佳密封。
以常规方式,在包含多嵌段弹性体的配方的背景下,获得小的压缩残余变形的一种方法是交联这些弹性体(特别是通过过氧化物),不幸的是,这往往倾向于通过产生挥发性有机化合物(VOC)而有损于排放性能。
然而,在开发环保和用户友好型车辆的背景下,寻找挥发性有机化合物排放低的物质是当务之急。因此,新车辆(以及构成它的材料)必须排放最少量的挥发性有机化合物。
发明内容
因此,本发明的技术问题是提出一种新的预膨胀弹性体热塑性材料,其允许特别是获得膨胀密封唇,该膨胀密封唇具有与非膨胀密封唇相似或更好的良好弹性性能,特别是关于压缩后的残余变形,且该膨胀密封唇还优选地具有尽可能低的挥发性有机化合物释放,并且可以通过标准和简单的挤出或注入过程(不注入气体、液体或其他母料)来实施。
现在已经发现了一种非交联的预膨胀弹性体热塑性材料,其在重量上包含至少10%的一种或多种多嵌段弹性体和热膨胀性聚合物颗粒,所述多嵌段弹性体包括至少一种软嵌段和至少一种硬嵌段,该预膨胀弹性体热塑性材料具有所需的特征。
因此,本发明的目的是一种非交联的预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物,其包含:
-相对于组合物的总重量,在重量上至少10%的包含至少一个软嵌段和至少一个硬嵌段的一种或多种多嵌段弹性体,
-包封热膨胀性流体的热膨胀性聚合物颗粒。
根据本发明的预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物允许获得具有良好弹性体性能的膨胀弹性体组合物,特别是具有与非膨胀的等同产品相似或更好的压缩残余变形。此外,膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物具有低的挥发性有机化合物排放。此外,它允许通过标准和简单的挤出或注入方法实施。
本发明还涉及制备膨胀弹性体组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:

在本发明中,除非另有明确说明,否则所有百分比(%)均为重量%。
弹性体热塑性组合物是指这样的组合物,其在热作用下软化,在冷却时硬化,并且在低温下,特别是在环境温度下具有在压力下施加变形后能够或多或少地快速恢复原始形状和原始尺寸的能力。
根据本发明的弹性体组合物是超过环境温度的热塑性塑料,也就是说,它具有通过传统上用于塑料加工或糖果加工的工艺来成形的能力,例如挤出、注塑、模塑、吹塑、压延和轧制。
预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物是指这样的弹性体组合物,其尚未膨胀但在其中包含尚未活化(即未膨胀的)的膨胀剂。该组合物通常以各种尺寸的颗粒形式使用和出售。预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物通常用于挤出或注入目的。
该热塑性组合物旨在被加热以在热的作用下熔化和转变成最终的膨胀产品。
如上所述,预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物在重量上相对于组合物的总重量包括至少10%的一种或多种多嵌段弹性体,所述多嵌段弹性体包含至少一个软嵌段和至少一个硬嵌段。
“软”(或“柔性”或“弹性体”)嵌段是指玻璃化转变温度(Tg)低于环境温度(25℃)、优选低于或等于10℃、更优选低于0℃的嵌段。
“硬”(或“刚性”或“热塑性”)嵌段是指由聚合单体组成的嵌段,其具有的玻璃化转变温度或在半结晶聚合物的情况下具有的熔融温度大于或等于80℃,优选地在80℃至250℃的范围内变化,更优选地在80℃至200℃的范围内变化,特别是80℃至180℃的范围内变化。
通常,这些链段或嵌段(硬或软)中的每一个至少含有多于5个、通常多于10个碱基单元(聚合物单元)。
在本申请中,当提及弹性体的玻璃化转变温度时,它是相对于软嵌段(或弹性体嵌段)的玻璃化转变温度(除非另有说明)。实际上,以已知的方式,包含至少一个软嵌段和至少一个硬嵌段的多嵌段弹性体具有两个玻璃化转变温度峰(Tg,根据ASTM D3418测量),最低温度是相对于弹性体的软部分,最高温度是相对于弹性体的硬部分。
因此,根据本发明可使用的弹性体优选具有小于或等于25℃、更优选小于或等于10℃的玻璃化转变温度(因此为软嵌段的玻璃化转变温度)。
还优选地,根据本发明可使用的弹性体的玻璃化转变温度大于-130℃。
这些弹性体在其范围内具有从低分子量到高分子量的各种分子量。
根据本发明可使用的弹性体优选为具有少量嵌段(小于5,通常为2或3)的共聚物。
优选地,一种或多种弹性体选自硬嵌段/软嵌段/硬嵌段三嵌段弹性体和硬嵌段/软嵌段二嵌段弹性体,更优选地选自硬嵌段/软嵌段/硬嵌段三嵌段弹性体。
根据本发明可使用的弹性体的一个或多个软嵌段可以是不饱和的软嵌段。
不饱和软嵌段是指该嵌段至少部分地衍生自共轭二烯单体。
根据本发明可使用的不饱和软嵌段优选地选自具有共轭二烯的单体的任何均聚物和具有与另一单体共轭的二烯的单体的任何共聚物。
特别地,根据本发明可使用的不饱和软嵌段可选自:
a)通过聚合具有4至12个碳原子的共轭二烯单体得到的任何均聚物;
b)通过一种或多种共轭二烯彼此共聚或与具有8至20个碳原子的一种或多种乙烯基芳族化合物共聚得到的任何共聚物;
c)通过乙烯、具有3至6个碳原子的α-烯烃与具有6至12个碳原子的非共轭二烯单体共聚得到的三元共聚物,例如,基于乙烯、丙烯与上述类型的非共轭二烯单体得到的弹性体,例如特别是1,4-己二烯,亚乙基降冰片烯,二环戊二烯;
d)异丁烯和异戊二烯(丁基二烯橡胶)的共聚物,以及这类共聚物的卤化形式,特别是氯化或溴化。

在本发明特别优选的方式中,一个或多个软嵌段选自由聚异戊二烯、聚丁二烯、丁二烯和异戊二烯共聚物、苯乙烯和丁二烯的共聚物、乙烯和丁二烯的共聚物、以及这些聚合物的混合物组成的组,这些聚合物是非氢化或部分氢化的。
根据本发明可使用的弹性体的一个或多个软嵌段也可以是饱和的软嵌段。
通常,这些饱和软嵌段是通过不饱和软嵌段的氢化或通过简单的共聚合获得的。
如上所述,根据本发明可使用的弹性体还包含至少一个硬嵌段。
一个或多个硬嵌段可以由各种聚合单体制成。
特别地,一个或多个硬嵌段可选自有以下组成的组:聚烯烃(聚乙烯,聚丙烯),聚氨酯,聚酰胺,聚酯,聚缩醛,聚醚(聚环氧乙烷,聚苯醚),亚苯基多硫化物,如氟乙烯-丙烯(FEP)、全氟烷氧基(PFA)和乙烯四氟乙烯(ETFE)的氟化物,聚苯乙烯,聚碳酸酯,聚砜,聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,聚醚酰亚胺,如丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)的热塑性共聚物,和这些聚合物的混合物。
聚苯乙烯由苯乙烯类单体获得。

如针对软嵌段可以处理的一样,反应性单体或官能团总是可以以少数方式包含在硬嵌段的聚合物链中。
作为根据本发明可使用的弹性体,可以列举乙烯和α-烯烃的多嵌段共聚物,其中α-烯烃选自丙烯,1-丁烯,1-己烯,1-辛烯,4-甲基-1-戊烯,降冰片烯,1-癸烯,1,5-己二烯,乙烯或其组合化合物。
这些乙烯和α-烯烃的多嵌段共聚物可包含:一个或多个硬链段,其在重量上包含至少98%的乙烯;和一个或多个软链段,其在重量上包含少于95%、优选地小于50%的乙烯。优选地,硬链段的含量在重量上为5%至85%。
例如,这些乙烯和α-烯烃的多嵌段共聚物可由DOW公司在Engage和Infuse系列下提供。

优选地,相对于弹性体组合物的总重量,一种或多种弹性体在重量上占10%至40%,更优选地在重量上占15%至小于40%,还优选地在重量上占15%至37%,最佳为在重量上占15%至35%。
如前所述,根据本发明的预膨胀弹性体组合物包含包封热膨胀性流体的热膨胀性聚合物颗粒。
热膨胀性聚合物颗粒是指呈聚合物微球形式的聚合物颗粒,其构成包封气体或液体的颗粒的包膜,其直径通常为约10μm。

有利地,预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物还可以包含一种或多种聚烯烃热塑性聚合物。
优选地,所述一种或多种聚烯烃热塑性聚合物选自聚乙烯、聚丙烯、诸如聚丙烯-马来酸酐的官能化聚烯烃的均聚物和共聚物,以及这些聚合物的混合物。

根据本发明的预膨胀热塑性弹性体组合物还可包含通常存在于弹性体热塑性组合物中的各种添加剂,尤其是保护剂,例如抗氧化剂,抗臭氧剂,和抗紫外线和各种处理剂或其他稳定剂。

根据本发明的预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物通常以珠粒或颗粒的形式可用。
本发明的另一个目的是制备膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
-将如上定义的预膨胀弹性体组合物注入模具中或加入挤出机模头中,然后

根据本发明的膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物通常具有小于1、优选小于0.85的密度。
根据标准ISO 815,方法A,曲线B,在70℃下22h,根据本发明的膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物具有小于65%、优选小于55%的压缩残余变形。
最后,本发明的目的是一种密封唇,其可用于需要密封性能的各种领域,例如运输工业、建筑、家电或包装。
优选地,根据本发明的密封唇用于运输工业和建筑领域,并且更具体地用于运输工业的密封唇领域。
根据本发明的密封唇例如旨在用于任何车辆,优选地用于旅游型机动车辆,SUV(“运动型多用途车辆”),两轮车辆(尤其是摩托车),飞机,船以及工业车辆,如货车,卡车和其他运输或搬运车辆。

在硬度相同的情况下,根据本发明的组合物A2具有比对比组合物B2更低的相对密度,其反映了根据本发明的组合物A2的膨胀。
然而,尽管密度较低且硬度相等,但根据本发明的组合物A2具有与组合物B2类似的弹性体性质,特别是关于压缩残余变形,其仍保持为低的并且符合汽车领域的要求。

Claims (14)
1.一种非交联的预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物,包括:
-相对于组合物的总重量,在重量上至少10%的包含至少一个软嵌段和至少一个硬嵌段的一种或多种多嵌段弹性体,
-包封热膨胀性流体的热膨胀性聚合物颗粒。
2.根据权利要求1所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,一种或多种弹性体选自硬嵌段/软嵌段二嵌段弹性体和硬嵌段/软嵌段/硬嵌段三嵌段弹性体,优选地选自硬嵌段/软嵌段/硬嵌段三嵌段弹性体。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,一种或多种弹性体选自苯乙烯/丁二烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SBS),苯乙烯/异戊二烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SIS),苯乙烯/乙烯-丁烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SEBS),苯乙烯/乙烯/丙烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SEPS),苯乙烯/乙烯/乙烯-丙烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SEEPS),包括衍生自乙烯-丁烯嵌段中的乙烯和丁烯的单元中的不同单元的苯乙烯/乙烯-丁烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SOESS),包括允许在一个或多个苯乙烯嵌段中交联的官能化单元的苯乙烯/乙烯-丁烯/苯乙烯聚合物,乙烯和α-烯烃的多嵌段共聚物和这些聚合物的混合物,优选地选自苯乙烯/乙烯-丁烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SEBS)。
4.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,相对于弹性体组合物的总重量,一种或多种弹性体在重量上占10%至40%,优选地在重量上占15%至小于40%,还优选地在重量上占15%至37%,最佳为在重量上占15%至35%。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,热膨胀性聚合物颗粒选自能够从140℃、优选从160℃膨胀的颗粒。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,热膨胀性聚合物颗粒选自含有烃如异丁烷,异戊烷和卤代烷烃的丙烯腈颗粒。
7.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,相对于组合物的总重量,其在重量上包含0.1%至7%、优选0.5%至2%的一种或多种热膨胀性聚合物颗粒。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,其还包含一种或多种聚烯烃热塑性聚合物,优选地选自聚乙烯、聚丙烯、官能化聚烯烃的均聚物和共聚物,以及这些聚合物的混合物。
9.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,其包含聚丙烯的均聚物和/或共聚物,并且有利地还包括聚乙烯的均聚物和/或共聚物。
10.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,其包含一种或多种增塑剂,优选地为一种或多种增塑油,更优选地为一种或多种烃油,特别是一种或多种石蜡油。
11.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的弹性体热塑性组合物,其特征在于,其包含:
-在重量上10%至40%的、优选地在重量15%至少于40%的、更优选地在重量上15%至37%的、最佳地在重量上15%至35%的一种或多种弹性体,其选自苯乙烯/丁二烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SBS),苯乙烯/异戊二烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SIS),苯乙烯/乙烯-丁烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SEBS),苯乙烯/乙烯/丙烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SEPS),苯乙烯/乙烯/乙烯-丙烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SEEPS),包括衍生自乙烯-丁烯嵌段中的乙烯和丁烯的单元中的不同单元的苯乙烯/乙烯-丁烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SOESS),包括允许在一个或多个苯乙烯嵌段中交联的官能化单元的苯乙烯/乙烯-丁烯/苯乙烯聚合物,乙烯和α-烯烃的多嵌段共聚物和这些聚合物的混合物,优选地选自苯乙烯/乙烯-丁烯/苯乙烯聚合物(SEBS),

-在重量上5%至40%、优选地在重量上10%至35%的一种或多种聚烯烃热塑性聚合物,优选地选自聚乙烯、聚丙烯的均聚物和/或共聚物,和这些聚合物的混合物,
-在重量上0.1%至7%、优选地在重量上0.5%至2%的包封热膨胀性流体的热膨胀性聚合物颗粒,
这些含量相对于组合物的总重量给出。
12.一种制备膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
-将根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物注入模具中或加入挤出机模头中,然后
-将预膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物加热至高于热膨胀性聚合物颗粒的膨胀温度的温度,优选高于160℃。
13.一种非交联的膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物,其能够通过根据权利要求12所述的方法获得。
14.一种密封唇,用于运输工业和建筑领域,包括根据权利要求13所述的膨胀弹性体热塑性组合物。
