技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于车辆的符号按钮及其制造方法。
背景技术
车辆内装有各种开关按钮,以便操作车辆的各种功能。这种开关按钮具有用于操作或操控诸如音频系统、空调和车窗等车辆部件的典型功能,并且具有用于在视觉上查看部件和在触摸时触觉感受部件的审美功能。
对于车辆开关按钮,通常使用金属铝、金属涂料、哑光涂层、离子镀覆和装饰用模内薄膜等。
使用离子镀覆和金属涂料为开关按钮提供金属质感,但是由于用肉眼观察时的感觉与触摸时的感觉之间存在差异,因此在适销性方面存在不利影响。
因此,提出了在聚合物材料的按钮表面上镀覆金属的方法。
目前,有两种典型的镀覆金属的方法。

本发明的示例性实施例提供一种用于车辆的符号按钮,包括:按钮主体;按钮表面部,位于按钮主体的上部;符号印刷部,位于按钮表面部上;防镀覆部,位于按钮主体的下部;以及金属镀层,位于除符号印刷部和防镀覆部之外的按钮的外侧。
符号印刷部可以是透射光的材料。
可使用与符号印刷部相同的材料印刷防镀覆部。
防镀膜可附着于防镀覆部。
按钮主体和按钮表面部可以是通过单次注塑形成的相同的材料。
按钮主体和按钮表面部可以是能够金属镀覆的聚合物材料。
符号印刷部和防镀覆部可以是金属不镀覆的聚合物材料。
符号印刷部可使用含有聚氯乙烯(PVC)树脂、溶剂和抗静电剂的聚合物组合物制造,并且基于100wt%的聚合物组合物,溶剂的含量可在3~7wt%的范围内。
本发明的另一实施例提供一种用于车辆的符号按钮的制造方法,包括:使用金属镀覆的聚合物材料通过单次注塑制造按钮;使用金属不镀覆的聚合物材料在按钮的表面部上印刷符号;在按钮的主体部的下部形成防镀覆部;以及在按钮的外侧形成金属镀层。
在按钮的主体部的下部形成防镀覆部的步骤可包括在主体部的下部印刷金属不镀覆的聚合物材料。
在按钮的主体部的下部形成防镀覆部的步骤可包括在主体部的下部形成金属镀覆防止带。
金属不镀覆的聚合物材料可使用含有PVC树脂、溶剂和抗静电剂的聚合物组合物制造,并且基于100wt%的聚合物组合物,溶剂的含量可在3~7wt%的范围内。
根据本发明的实施例,与传统的两次注塑局部镀覆不同,当为了改变文字/符号而在相同位置应用各种文字/符号时无需附加的模具,并且与在化学镀后使用激光切割的局部镀覆相比可简化工艺。

具体实施方式
在下文中,将详细说明本发明的示例性实施例。然而,示例性实施例作为示例提供,且本发明不限于此,而是限定在如下所述的权利要求的范围内。
本发明的示例性实施例涉及一种为了局部镀覆传统的开关按钮,通过在产品表面上印刷不形成镀层的油墨之后进行湿式镀铬工艺,防止在文字/符号部上形成镀层的工艺。
在这种情况下,不形成镀层的油墨应该具有可透射光以便照明,并且在镀覆工艺中不会被镀覆化学品侵蚀或剥落的特性。
首先,使用能够金属镀覆的聚合物材料,通过单次注塑方法制造按钮。随后,在注塑材料上形成用于防止形成镀层的屏蔽印刷层。然后,当对印刷的注塑部件进行湿式镀铬工艺时,仅在透明或半透明注塑材料的未印刷区域形成镀层,并且在印刷部和不透明材料区域不形成镀层。
在这种情况下,在未形成镀层的印刷部形成文字/符号,使得驾驶者可用肉眼识别文字/符号。另外,在夜间通过印刷部提供照明,使得可在夜间识别文字/符号。
具体地,在本发明的示例性实施例中,顺序地进行塑料注塑工艺、符号(文字/符号)印刷工艺、下表面屏蔽层形成工艺和湿镀工艺。图3A至图3E示出根据本发明的示例性实施例的按钮的制造方法的流程图。
在这种情况下,在塑料注塑工艺中使用用于端部镀覆的注塑材料。用于镀覆的透明材料可以是具有镀覆性和透光性的丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS)、聚碳酸酯(PC)+ABS、PC等。
此后,可进行用于防止镀覆的印刷工艺。
在用于防止镀覆的印刷工艺中,可使用聚氯乙烯(PVC)树脂基油墨,并可通过移印、丝网印刷、激光印刷等进行用于防止镀覆的印刷工艺。
油墨可包括分子量为15,000~25,000Mw的PVC树脂。PVC树脂对镀覆工艺中的硫酸/铬酸/盐酸具有优异的耐化学性,并且具有防止金属镀覆的特性。
在印刷工艺之后,可通过在60~80℃的温度下干燥0.5~2.0小时将油墨固化。
随后,可在按钮下表面上形成镀覆屏蔽层。
按钮下表面上的镀覆屏蔽层用于通过防止电流动至产品的背面而防止镀层的形成。当使用镀覆材料注塑按钮并进行镀覆工艺时,在材料的背面形成金属层,由此不透射光。
因此,可在按钮的下部形成镀覆屏蔽层,用以防止在注塑材料的背面形成镀层。
镀覆屏蔽层用于防止按钮与照明结构(例如多氯联苯(PCB)按钮和发光二极管(LED))之间的电传导,从而防止产品在受到外部电击时损坏和失效。另外,可防止在应用按钮照明时在侧面漏光。
图3A示出通过浸渍印刷成符号的油墨及使用移印等形成镀覆屏蔽层的方法。
当应用印刷工艺时,在80℃下30分钟的干燥工艺后进行镀覆工艺。
图3B示出将不与镀覆化学品反应的薄膜附着于产品的侧面,然后进行镀覆工艺的方法。
该薄膜可以是PVC薄膜、热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)薄膜、聚丙烯(PP)薄膜。
要求薄膜具有在80℃以下的镀覆工艺条件下不变形、拉伸并且粘附力不降低的特性。
例如,薄膜可由作为PVC材料的3M汽车级高粘性ScotchcalTM制成。
然后,如图3C至图3E中所示,可进行湿式镀铬工艺。
湿式镀铬工艺主要分为蚀刻工艺、化学镀工艺和电镀工艺。
蚀刻工艺(预处理工艺)用于通过使用铬酸/硫酸溶解ABS和PC+ABS表面的丁二烯组分并形成锚定孔,从而赋予镀层附着力。
化学镀工艺是形成例如1μm的薄化学镀镍层使得非导电塑料注塑材料的表面具有导电性的工艺。
电镀工艺是用于通过对产品的表面加电而顺序形成铜、镍和铬层的工艺。
在用于防止镀覆的印刷层的情况下,PVC材料不溶于铬酸/硫酸,因此不形成化学镀镍层,使得在电镀工艺中不形成镀层。
在下文中,将说明本发明的示例性实施例和比较例。然而,以下示例性实施例仅用于示例性目的,并且本发明的范围不限于此。
示例性实施例
用于镀覆的注塑材料的选择
用于镀覆的透明注塑材料所需的条件是能够具有镀层附着力和进行照明。
ABS、PC+ABS和PC材料可用。在产品中,厚度为1.0~1.5mm。
当材料的厚度为1.0mm以下时,材料的流动性不足,因此注塑时的成型性劣化。当材料的厚度为2.0mm以上时,总透光率为5以下并且雾度为95以上,使得透光性降低,因此难以应用于照明部件。
油墨树脂的选择
为了实现防止在文字/符号部上形成镀层的印刷,对适用于塑料材料的PVC、聚(甲基丙烯酸甲酯)(PMMA)和聚氨酯(PU)树脂进行了评价。
PMMA或PU树脂溶解于镀覆工艺中的诸如硫酸、盐酸和铬酸的化学品,因此即使留有印刷层,印刷层也被去除或在表面形成镀层。在PVC树脂的情况下,由于其耐化学性强,即使在镀铬工艺之后也未去除印刷层,因此不形成镀层。
在PVC树脂的情况下,与其分子量无关,在湿式镀铬后均不形成镀层。PVC树脂的分子量可为20,000~30,000Mw。
当PVC树脂的分子量小于20,000Mw时,由于印刷渗出(spread)导致印刷性劣化,因此难以确保印刷后的印刷厚度。
当PVC树脂的分子量大于30,000Mw时,树脂的滑移性降低,使得印刷后油墨表面变粗糙,并且由于印刷渗出导致图像的清晰度降低,使得难以重复印刷。此外,镀覆的均匀性降低,使得文字/符号不恒定。
在印刷中,可通过移印、丝网印刷和激光印刷等方法形成文字和符号。
使用有机溶剂用于确保PVC树脂的可印刷性。有机溶剂起到调节粘度和分散树脂的作用。在这种情况下,有机溶剂可以是乙腈、异佛尔酮或二甲苯。有机溶剂的含量相对于树脂可约为3~7wt%。
当溶剂的含量小于3wt%时,油墨溶液的粘度高达5000cP,使得分散性降低。另外,当其粘度高时,在移印过程中油墨不会转印到注塑产品上,而是保留在移印头(硅橡胶)上,使得可印刷性降低。
当溶剂的含量大于7wt%时,油墨溶液的粘度低至2000cP以下,使得印刷渗出变得严重,并且难以确保印刷和干燥后的涂膜厚度。
使用固化剂用于通过与PVC树脂的固化来增加例如耐化学性、耐热性和附着力的耐久性。固化剂可包括异氰酸酯基固化剂,包括HDI、MDI、TDI或IPDI,并可应用10~20重量份的含量。
当固化剂的含量小于10重量份时,由于涂膜的固化不充分而使耐化学性降低,而当固化剂的含量大于20重量份时,耐久性得到提高,但可印刷性降低,并且由于暴露于空气中而使油墨的适用期缩短。另外,由于与树脂的过度固化,会发生耐光性评价后的涂膜破裂。
图4示出根据本发明的示例性实施例的按钮的各个制造工艺的图片。

屏蔽油墨的选择
作为屏蔽带所要求的性能,在镀覆工艺中不应形成化学镀层,在电镀工艺中应具有绝缘性,并且在镀覆工艺中不应与化学品发生反应。
PVC带采用3M公司的ScotchcalTM高性能汽车级。
图7示出使用镀覆屏蔽带制造的按钮的图片。

根据本发明的用于替代应用于传统按钮的两次注塑局部镀覆的方法,不进行两次注塑而通过局部镀覆方法在按钮上形成文字和符号,能够为消费者提供金属外观和冷触感。
根据本发明,通过利用移印或丝网印刷方法在能够透射光的镀覆材料的表面形成能够防止镀覆并透射光的印刷层,并且进行湿式镀铬工艺,能够仅在除文字/符号印刷层之外的剩余区域形成金属层,并且仅在文字/符号区域透射光,从而在日间提供文字/符号图像并在夜间提供照明图像。
根据本发明的实施例,与传统的两次注塑局部镀覆相比,能够提供相对简单的结构,并且当改变文字/符号时,无需附加的模具而能够通过改变印刷图案来改变文字/符号。另外,为了降低成本,可将用于形成非镀覆区域的两次注塑改变为单次注塑
虽然已结合目前被认为实用的示例性实施例说明了本发明,但是应该理解,本发明不限于所公开的实施例,而是相反,本发明旨在涵盖包括在所附权利要求的思想和范围内的各种变形和等同布置。

Claims (10)

1.一种用于车辆的符号按钮,其特征在于包括:
按钮主体;
按钮表面部,位于所述按钮主体的上部;
符号印刷部,位于所述按钮表面部上;
防镀覆部,位于所述按钮主体的下部;以及
金属镀层,位于除所述符号印刷部和所述防镀覆部之外的按钮的外侧,
其中,所述符号印刷部包括含有聚氯乙烯树脂、有机溶剂和抗静电剂的聚合物组合物,并且
基于100wt%的所述聚合物组合物,所述有机溶剂的含量在3~7wt%的范围内,并且
其中,所述聚合物组合物含有固化剂,并且基于100重量份的所述聚合物组合物,所述固化剂的含量在10~20重量份的范围内。
2.如权利要求1所述的用于车辆的符号按钮,其特征在于,
所述符号印刷部包括透射光的材料。
3.如权利要求1所述的用于车辆的符号按钮,其特征在于,
使用与所述符号印刷部相同的材料印刷所述防镀覆部。
4.如权利要求1所述的用于车辆的符号按钮,其特征在于,
防镀膜附着于所述防镀覆部。
5.如权利要求1所述的用于车辆的符号按钮,其特征在于,
所述按钮主体和所述按钮表面部具有相同的材料。
6.如权利要求5所述的用于车辆的符号按钮,其特征在于,
所述按钮主体和所述按钮表面部是聚合物材料。
7.如权利要求1所述的用于车辆的符号按钮,其特征在于,
所述符号印刷部和所述防镀覆部是金属不镀覆的聚合物材料。
8.一种用于车辆的符号按钮的制造方法,其特征在于包括以下步骤:
使用金属镀覆的聚合物材料通过单次注塑制造按钮;
使用金属不镀覆的聚合物材料在所述按钮的表面部上印刷符号;
在所述按钮的主体部的下部形成防镀覆部;以及
在所述按钮的外侧形成金属镀层,
其中,所述金属不镀覆的聚合物材料包括含有聚氯乙烯树脂、有机溶剂和抗静电剂的聚合物组合物,并且
基于100wt%的所述聚合物组合物,所述有机溶剂的含量在3~7wt%的范围内,并且
其中,所述聚合物组合物含有固化剂,并且基于100重量份的所述聚合物组合物,所述固化剂的含量在10~20重量份的范围内。
9.如权利要求8所述的制造方法,其特征在于,
形成所述防镀覆部的步骤包括在所述主体部的下部印刷所述金属不镀覆的聚合物材料。
10.如权利要求8所述的制造方法,其特征在于,
形成所述防镀覆部的步骤包括在所述主体部的下部形成金属镀覆防止带。
