Description

Sand-containing coating and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The application relates to but is not limited to the field of coatings, in particular to but not limited to a coating which is suitable for spraying and contains sand grains and a preparation method thereof.
Background
In order to increase the surface texture of decorations, paints with sand added thereto have been developed to paint and spray decorations. At present, various coatings added with sand grains, such as sand grain paint, colored sand coating and the like, are available on the market, but the existing coatings added with sand grains can only adopt a construction mode of manual blade coating due to poor suspension of the sand grains in the coatings, and the construction mode has high requirements on the technical level of constructors and low construction efficiency. In addition, the viscosity of the existing coating added with sand grains, such as texture sand grain paint, is too high, so that the construction mode of manual blade coating only can be adopted, and after blade coating, finish paint needs to be sprayed to prevent the coating from falling off, so that the finish of the decorative surface can be improved.
Therefore, there is a need to develop a sand-containing coating suitable for spray application.
Disclosure of Invention
The following is a summary of the subject matter described in detail herein. This summary is not intended to limit the scope of the claims.
The application provides a sand-containing coating suitable for spraying and a preparation method thereof.
Specifically, the present application provides a coating containing sand particles, which includes sodium hexametaphosphate, hydroxymethyl cellulose, bentonite, calcium carbonate, sand particles, a preservative, a defoaming agent, an emulsion, and water.
In embodiments of the present application, the coating may include the following components in parts by weight:
Figure BDA0001384237050000011
Figure BDA0001384237050000021
in an embodiment of the present application, the sand grains may be one or more of textured round sand, quartz sand, and natural colored sand.
In the present application, the term "texture round sand" refers to rounded and non-sharp-angled particles obtained by crushing and rounding natural quartz stones.
In an embodiment of the present application, the sand grains may be texture round sand having a grain size of 40 to 60 mesh.
In embodiments of the present application, the calcium carbonate may be calcium carbonate having a particle size of 800 mesh and/or 1500 mesh.
In an embodiment of the present application, the calcium carbonate may include calcium carbonate having a particle size of 800 mesh and calcium carbonate having a particle size of 1500 mesh in a weight ratio of 56-58: 3.7-4.3.
In an embodiment of the present application, the sand-containing coating material may further include an auxiliary selected from one or more of a dispersant, a mildewcide, a thickener, and a film forming aid, wherein the dispersant does not include sodium hexametaphosphate, and the thickener does not include hydroxymethylcellulose and bentonite.
In embodiments of the present application, the coalescent may be one or more of benzyl alcohol, butyl glycol ether, and propylene glycol phenyl ether.
The application also provides a method for preparing the coating containing the sand particles, which comprises the step of uniformly mixing all the components for preparing the coating.
In the embodiment of the present application, water, sodium hexametaphosphate, hydroxymethyl cellulose, a dispersant, an antifoaming agent, a preservative, a mildewproofing agent, a thickener, calcium carbonate, bentonite, an emulsion, a film forming aid, and sand may be added in this order.
The functions of the components in the application are as follows:
sodium hexametaphosphate is an inorganic dispersant and serves in the present application to improve the dispersibility of solid phase particles.
Hydroxymethyl cellulose: the function is to adjust the compatibility of the coating and prevent the formation of sediment and delamination. Because the specific gravity of the calcium carbonate is large, agglomeration and precipitation can be generated during standing, so that water and the calcium carbonate are separated into a solid phase and a water layer and a precipitation layer are formed. The hydroxymethyl cellulose is a common auxiliary agent in the coating, has the functions of water retention, colloid protection, emulsification, suspension and the like, and forms colloid after the hydroxymethyl cellulose and the bentonite are dispersed at high speed, so that the colloid has the function of thickening a liquid phase, and the suspension performance of the calcium carbonate is improved.
The bentonite is of a layered structure, can absorb water like a sponge, and has the functions of thickening and increasing the suspension performance of the paint.
The calcium carbonate is used as the filler in the paint, greatly improves the thixotropy of the system, can obviously improve the adhesive force, the washing resistance and the stain resistance of the paint, and improves the strength and the surface smoothness.
The coating containing the sand grains has good flowability, the sand grains are stably suspended in the coating, and the coating can be automatically sprayed on line, so that the assembly line operation is realized, and the construction efficiency is improved. And after the spraying operation is carried out on the ornament, scattered sand grains with the diameter of 0.2-0.4mm are protruded on the surface of the ornament, so that the surface texture of the ornament is improved.
Additional features and advantages of the application will be set forth in the description which follows, and in part will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by the practice of the application. The objectives and other advantages of the application may be realized and attained by the structure particularly pointed out in the written description and claims hereof.
Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present application will be described in detail to make objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be arbitrarily combined with each other without conflict.
In the following examples of the present application, unless otherwise specified, the raw materials and reagents used were all ordinary commercial products, and the polished round sand had a size of 40 to 60 mesh.
Examples 1 to 4 and comparative examples 1 to 2
1. Weighing the components according to the mass given in table 1;
2. firstly adding water, starting a high-speed stirrer (2000 revolutions per minute), adding sodium hexametaphosphate, stirring for 1min, adding hydroxymethyl cellulose, stirring for 2min, adding a dispersing agent, stirring for 1min, adding a preservative, a defoaming agent, a mildew preventive and a thickening agent, stirring for 1min, adding 1500-mesh calcium carbonate, stirring for 2min, adding 800-mesh calcium carbonate, stirring for 2min, uniformly dispersing, adding bentonite, and stirring for 2 min;
3. adding the emulsion, starting a low-speed stirrer (900 rpm), stirring at low speed for 15-20 min, adding the sand, and stirring for 5 min.
TABLE 1
Figure BDA0001384237050000041
Test example
The properties of the coatings prepared in the examples and comparative examples described above were investigated according to the national standard GB/T9756-2001. The results are reported in Table 2.
TABLE 2
Figure BDA0001384237050000042
Figure BDA0001384237050000051
As can be seen from Table 2, the coatings prepared in examples 1 to 4 of the present application contain uniformly distributed sand grains, and the coatings are complete and smooth after the construction in the automatic spraying manner; the coating prepared in the comparative examples 1-2 is easy to have sand grain precipitation or water precipitation phenomenon because no bentonite or hydroxymethyl cellulose is added, and cannot be applied to automatic spraying; the sand paint sold in the market at present is generally prepared from colored sand or fine white sand with different grain diameters of 30-40 meshes, 60-80 meshes and the like, does not have fluidity, and can be constructed only by adopting a manual smearing mode.
Although the embodiments disclosed in the present application are described above, the descriptions are only for the convenience of understanding the present application, and are not intended to limit the present application. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the disclosure as defined by the appended claims.
