Abstract

The invention discloses a growth regulator for promoting the root growth of ratoon rice and an application method thereof. The growth regulator comprises the following phytohormones: 2, 4-epibrassinolide, gibberellin and 3-indoleacetic acid. The regulator of the invention can effectively promote the generation of new roots and the growth of the roots of the ratoon rice, can increase the yield of the ratoon rice by 17 percent, and has the effect obviously better than that of singly using 2, 4-epibrassinolide, gibberellin and 3-indoleacetic acid or using two of them together.

In recent years, research on aspects such as variety breeding and scientific cultivation greatly promotes the increase of the yield of the regenerated rice. However, the development of the yield potential is seriously influenced by the lag of the basic theory research of the ratooning rice, so that the key technology for forming and controlling the yield of the ratooning rice needs to be systematically researched to develop a key technology system for controlling the production of the ratooning rice.
The root system formed by the first season rice of the rice is aged when the rice is harvested, the nutrition absorption capacity is very low, mineral nutrition absorbed by old roots of the first season rice can not meet the requirement of growth and development of the ratoon rice, and nutrient elements required by production of the ratoon rice are mainly absorbed by the newly formed root system, so that the development of the growth regulator corresponding to the ratoon rice ratoon roots is very important, and the growth regulator has important practical significance for research and yield increase of the ratoon rice.

1. Laboratory tests:

2. Pot experiment:
the method comprises the steps of filling a plastic flowerpot with the caliber of 38cm, the bottom diameter of 30cm and the height of 40cm with rice field soil, planting ratooning rice, planting 4 holes in each pot, processing 30 pots with each formula, placing in a pot culture field with sufficient sunlight, growing under natural conditions, removing accumulated water in the pots after harvesting first season rice, spraying a growth regulator within 2 days, preferably wetting ratooning rice bases, spraying the same amount of clear water as a control group (CK), selecting Y Liangyou 9918 indica rice, and selecting the formula of the growth regulator from example 1. The yield of ratooning rice and related indexes are observed and recorded in Table 3, and the indexes are averaged.

3. Field test:
after harvesting first season rice, discharging rice field water, spraying a growth regulator to the root part of a pile of the first season rice within 2 days, uniformly spraying 20L growth regulator once per mu, spraying and not spraying 2 mu of the growth regulator in the rice field, wherein the selected ratoon rice is Y Liangyou 9918, the formula of the growth regulator adopts example 1, the same amount of clean water is sprayed as a control group (CK), the growth related indexes and the yield of the ratoon rice are shown in a table 4, wherein the dry weight of roots is the average weight of the roots of each root of the ratoon rice, and the effective ear rate is the effective ear number of the ratoon rice/the effective tiller number of the first season rice.
