技术领域
本发明涉及利用塑料制预型件、尤其是聚对苯二甲酸二乙酯(PET)制预型件来制造容器。
更确切的说,本发明涉及一种预型件,该预型件用于在具有容器型腔的模具中或以自由方式(即无模具)通过吹制或者拉吹来成型容器。
背景技术
容器通常具有侧壁、颈部和底部,所述侧壁一般呈回转对称,沿中央轴线延伸,所述颈部接续侧壁延伸,容器用于通过颈部进行灌装和排出,所述底部从主体的下端部横向延伸,容器用于通过底部放置在平表面上。
预型件通常具有主体、开放的颈部以及底部,预型件的主体具有基本上呈圆柱形的形状(用于形成容器的侧壁),所述开放的颈部接续主体从主体上端部延伸,颈部通过环箍与主体分开(在容器成型过程中,颈部保持不变),预型件的底部在主体下端部封闭主体(用于形成容器的底部)。
为了基于预型件形成容器,以将预型件的主体和底部加热到高于材料的玻璃化转变温度(对于PET来说,其约为80℃)的温度开始。然后,在预型件中注入压力流体(通常是空气),预型件的主体经受同时轴向和径向的膨胀,直至达到所需的容器主体形状。一般来说,轴向膨胀借助棒通过拉伸而成。
加热一般在加热单元(也称为炉)中进行,其配有辐照预型件的多个红外辐射源。这些红外辐射源一般是卤素灯,在包括短红外线(可能还有一部分中红外线外)以及至少一部分可见光谱的相当宽的光谱上辐射。卤素灯的主要缺陷是方向性差(甚至不存在方向性),使用寿命比较短。
一种替换的加热技术处于开发过程中,基于利用单色(或者准单色)辐射源,这种辐射源提供更好的方向性,使用寿命较长,参见例如欧洲专利申请EP2720842(Sidel公司),该申请提出一种利用垂直腔面发射激光器(VCSEL)型的激光二极管矩阵加热预型件的方法。
该新技术对各种形状的预型件进行过的许多试验表明:必须继续改进该技术,因为注意到在预型件中存在材料过热区域,仍不能免除其辐射源能量分配的精细调节。由此看来还需要对预型件的外形和尺寸再加工。
发明内容
因此一目的是提出一种预型件,其在暴露于单色或者准单色红外辐射时,可比较均匀地被加热,即没有不希望的局部过热区域。
为此,首先提出在一种塑料容器预型件,具有:
-围绕中央轴线呈回转对称的主体;
-开放的颈部,颈部接续主体延伸,颈部通过径向突出的环箍与主体分开;
-底部,其与颈部相对地封闭主体;
其中,主体在轴向截面上具有凹形部分,并且:

具体实施方式
图1、2和3中每个均示出塑料例如PET(polytéréphtalated'éthylène)制的预型件1,容器2(如图4上虚线所示)用于利用该预型件通过吹制或者拉吹而形成。首先,每个预型件1具有主体3,主体围绕中央轴线X回转对称地延伸。

B表示在底部与主体3的接合处测得的底部7的外径(换句话说,底部7的总直径);
C表示轴向(即平行于轴线X)测得的主体3(包括凹形部分11、上部连接部分12和下部连接部分13)和底部7的累计高度;
C'表示轴向(即平行于轴线X)测得的主体3的凹形部分11的高度;
D表示轴向测得的底部7和下部连接部分13的累计高度;
D'表示轴向测得的上部连接部分12的高度;
RE表示在外表面10上和在纵向剖面中测得的凹形部分11的平均曲率半径;
RF表示在内表面9上和在纵向剖面中测得的凹形部分11的平均曲率半径;
G表示在凹形部分11的下端部(在与下部连接部分13的接合处)测得的预型件1的壁厚;
H表示在凹形部分11的上端部(在与上部连接部分12的接合处)测得的预型件1的壁厚。
直径A和B选择成使得:
B≤0.9A。
此外,主体3的凹形部分11的高度C'选择成使得:
0.5C≤C’≤0.95C。
以及,在轴向截面上,凹形部分11在外表面10上的外曲率半径RE如下:
1.5C≤RE≤10C。
优选地,主体3的凹形部分11的高度C'选择成:
0.65C≤C’≤0.85C。
因此,一方面,主体3的凹形部分11具有明显斜度(与具有基本上呈圆柱形的主体的普通预型件相比较),另一方面,凹形部分11在预型件1的总高度(颈部除外)的很大一部分上延伸。
相对于主体基本上呈圆柱形的普通预型件来说,由此在用单色或准单色红外辐射源(尤其是激光源)进行加热时导致了更好的热响应性。特别是,折射最小化,有利于更好控制加热,限制了出现过热区域的危险。
为进一步使热响应最佳化,能以特殊方式确定上面所列中的其他参数的尺寸。
因此,优选地,主体3的壁厚在凹形部分11的整个高度上基本上恒定,或者连续递减,以避免出现任何弯曲尖脊或者弯曲突然中断。
此外,凹形部分11的上端部处的壁厚H有利地小于凹形部分11的下端部处的壁厚G:
H≤G
其中,优选地:
H≤0.9G
但是优选凹形部分11的下端部处与上端部处的厚度差不过大:
H≥0.5G
其中,优选地:
H≥0.7G
因为预型件1在主体3处比在颈部5处显著更厚,所以为了补偿这种厚度差,在内表面9上于环箍6的高度处配置台阶14。
因为颈部5不得被加热,所以该台阶14的存在不会影响对预型件1的总加热质量。
图1、2和3中分别示出三种不同形状的、但满足上述所有标准的预型件1。
下表提供对于这三种预型件1的上述所列参数的数值(全部以毫米表示):

图1的预型件1区别于图2和3的预型件之处在于:底部7具有基本上呈半球形的形状,以及在底部7的中央存在从内表面9向内突出的定中销形部15。该销形部15用于在容器2成型期间嵌接到在拉伸棒的一端形成的互补空腔中以确保预型件1定中。
相反,图2和3的预型件1的底部7基本上呈平面。这种形状的优点是最大限度地减小预型件1的材料所传输的辐射的折射,有利于更好地控制加热。
图4中相当示意性地示出用于利用如上所述的一种预型件1来制造容器2的设备16。
该设备16包括加热单元17,加热单元具有多个单色或者准单色红外电磁辐射源18。
理论上,单色辐射源是发射单一频率正弦波的理想源。换句话说,其频谱由谱宽为零的单一谱线(Dirac(狄拉克))组成。
实际上,这种辐射源不存在,实际的辐射源是至多为准单色的源,即其频谱在谱宽较小却非零的频带上延伸,所述频带定中心在辐射强度最大的主频率上。
辐射源18优选呈矩阵布置;例如涉及VCSEL型的激光二极管,每个均发射约1微米波长的数十毫瓦功率的辐射。
设备16还具有成型单元19,其包括至少一个具有容器2型腔的模具20。实际上,成型单元19可具有安装在一个转盘上的一系列模具20。对于每个模具来说,成型单元19具有注塑装置21,注塑装置21具有管嘴22,管嘴适于密封地贴靠在模具20的上表面上,通过分配器24(例如电动阀)连接于压力流体(例如空气)源23。设备还具有控制单元25,控制单元连接于压力流体源23和分配器24,以分别控制压力调节、它们的打开及关闭。
在所示的实施例中,对于每个模具20来说,成型单元19还具有棒26,棒26相对于模具20能滑动地安装以在吹制的同时确保拉伸预型件1。
因此,为了成型容器2,操作如下。
以例如从存放有全部相同的预型件的储存器提供一个如上所述的预型件1而开始。
预型件1的主体3和底部7则在加热单元17内暴露于辐射源18发射的预定强度的单色或者准单色红外辐射而被加热。在加热期间,使预型件1围绕其轴线X转动,以确保其主体3及底部7均匀暴露于辐射中。
鉴于预型件1的例如上述的形状和尺寸确定,观察到该预型件1对其所接收的辐射折射很少。因此,可在材料中较好地分配能量,较好地控制加热,在辐射源18处调节过的功率曲线与预型件1上观察到的热曲线(例如用热成像机获得)之间具有较好的一致性。
然后,将这样被加热的预型件1输入到模具20中,在预型件1中注入来自压力流体源23的压力流体(例如空气)而成型容器2。
注塑成型可包括用棒(参见图4上的棒26)轴向拉制预型件1的步骤。
在变型中,成型可以自由地、即没有模具地进行。

Claims (8)

1.一种塑料制容器预型件(1),塑料制容器预型件具有:
-围绕中央轴线(X)呈回转对称的主体(3);
-开放的颈部(5),颈部接续主体(3)延伸,颈部通过径向突出的环箍(6)与主体分开;
-底部(7),底部在与颈部(5)相反的方向上封闭主体(3);
塑料制容器预型件(1)的特征在于,主体(3)在轴向截面具有凹形部分(11);并且:
B≤0.9A
0.5C≤C’≤0.95C
其中,A是在环箍(6)下测得的主体(3)的总直径;
B是在底部与主体(3)的接合处测得的底部(7)的外径;
C是从环箍(6)起测得的主体(3)和底部(7)的累计高度;
C'是轴向测得的主体(3)的凹形部分(11)的高度;
并且,在轴向截面,凹形部分(11)在外表面(10)上的外曲率半径RE如下:
1.5C≤RE≤10C。
2.根据权利要求1所述的塑料制容器预型件(1),其特征在于:
0.65C≤C’≤0.85C。
3.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的塑料制容器预型件(1),其特征在于,
H≤G
其中,G是在凹形部分(11)的下端部测得的塑料制容器预型件(1)的壁厚;
H是在凹形部分(11)的上端部测得的塑料制容器预型件(1)的壁厚。
4.根据权利要求3所述的塑料制容器预型件(1),其特征在于:
H≤0.9G。
5.根据权利要求3或4所述的塑料制容器预型件(1),其特征在于:
H≥0.5G。
6.根据权利要求5所述的塑料制容器预型件(1),其特征在于:
H≥0.7G。
7.一种通过吹制或者拉吹制造容器(2)的方法,其特征在于,所述方法包括:
-提供根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的塑料制容器预型件(1);
-通过暴露于预定强度的单色或者准单色红外辐射来加热塑料制容器预型件(1)的主体(3);
-在这样被加热的塑料制容器预型件(1)中注入压力流体而成型容器(2)。
8.根据权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于,所述方法在加热和成型之间还包括将塑料制容器预型件(1)输入到具有容器(2)型腔的模具(20)中。
