技术领域
本发明涉及一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种用以电性连接芯片模块至电路板的电连接器。
背景技术
现有用以连接一芯片模块至一电路板的电连接器,包括一绝缘本体,所述绝缘本体贯穿其表面设有多个收容槽,多个端子固持于所述收容槽,其一端抵接所述芯片模块,另一端焊接至所述电路板,实现所述芯片模块和所述电路板的电性导通,相邻的所述收容槽之间具有一隔栏,自所述隔栏向上凸伸形成凸块,使用时,将所述芯片模块安装至所述电连接器上,然后对所述芯片模块施加向下的作用力,使得所述芯片模块向下抵接所述端子,以保证芯片模块与所述端子的良好接触。由于所述凸块向上支撑所述芯片模块,可避免芯片模块被压坏,及防止端子受压时过度变形。在所述绝缘本体成型过程中,在一模具中注塑成型所述绝缘本体,注塑完成后,所述绝缘本体还需与模具分离,故所述隔栏上还设有多个凹槽,人们用一顶针推顶所述凹槽,使所述绝缘本体与模具分离。然而,所述隔栏表面需要同时设置间隔的所述凸块和所述凹槽,造成所述隔栏表面面积过大,导致端子与端子之间的间隔较大,不利于所述电连接器的端子密集化的发展。
因此有必要设计一种改良的电连接器,以克服上述问题。
发明内容
针对背景技术所面临的问题,本发明的目的在于提供一种利于端子密集化发展的电连接器。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用以下技术手段:一种电连接器,包括:一绝缘本体,设有多排收容槽上下贯穿所述绝缘本体,每相邻两所述收容槽之间形成一隔栏或其中一隔栏的正上方;所述绝缘本体向下凹设有一凹槽位于其中一隔栏上或其中一所述隔栏的正上方,所述凹槽具有一底面及自所述底面周缘向上延伸形成且封闭的一侧面,所述凹槽用于供一顶针顶推以将所述绝缘本体从一模具中顶出;所述绝缘本体向上凸设有多数凸块,用于支撑所述芯片模块,其中与所述凹槽间隔的所有凸块与所述凹槽均不位于同一所述隔栏上;多个端子,对应收容于所述收容槽,用于导接所述芯片模块;
进一步,多个所述凹槽和多个所述凸块共同呈一个矩阵排列;
进一步,所述凹槽自所述隔栏的上表面向下凹陷形成;

本电连接器中,所述绝缘本体向下凹设有所述凹槽位于其中一个所述隔栏上或其中一个隔栏的正上方,且其中与所述凹槽间隔的所有凸块与所述凹槽均不位于同一所述隔栏上,使一个所述隔栏无需同时布置间隔的所述凹槽和所述凸块,可减小所述隔栏的表面积,进而缩小所述端子与端子的间隔,利于所述电连接器的端子密集化的设计。

为便于更好的理解本发明的目的、结构、特征以及功效等,现结合附图和具体实施方式对本发明作进一步说明。
如图5和图6所示,本发明电连接器100用以电性连接一芯片模块6至一电路板7,其包括一绝缘本体1(本图5和图6中只画了所述绝缘本体1的一部分,下同);多个端子2,固持于所述绝缘本体1,每一所述端子2一端导接所述电路板7,另一端通过一锡球3焊接于所述电路板7。
如图1、图5和图6所示,为本发明电连接器100的第一实施例,在本实施例中,所述端子2为金属板材冲压弯折形成,其具有一基部21,自所基部21向上弯折延伸形成一弹性臂22,所述弹性臂22延伸出所述绝缘本体1向上抵接所述芯片模块6,自所述基部21一侧竖直向上延伸形成一连料部23,所述连料部23的顶端用于连接一料带(未图示)。
如图1至图3所示,所述绝缘本体1设有多排上下贯穿所述绝缘本体1的收容槽11,所述基部21固持于所述收容槽11,使所述端子2于所述绝缘本体1中呈一个矩阵排列。所述绝缘本体1于每相邻的两所述收容槽11之间形成一隔栏12,在多个所述隔栏12中,部分所述隔栏12的上表面向下凹陷形成一凹槽13,所述凹槽13用于供一顶针4顶推以将所述绝缘本体1从一模具5中顶出,剩余未形成所述凹槽13的所述隔栏12向上凸设形成多个凸块14,如图6所示,所述凸块14用于支撑所述芯片模块6,如此设置,每一所述隔栏12均未同时设有所述凹槽13和所述凸块14,减小了所述隔栏12的上表面的面积,进而缩小端子2与端子2之间的间距,有利于所述电连接器100的端子2密集化设计。进一步,如图4所示,多个所述凹槽13和多个所述凸块14共同呈一个矩阵排列,使所述凹槽13和所述凸块14均匀分布在所述绝缘本体1的上表面。特别指出的是,所述凹槽13和所述凸块14形成矩阵的边缘与所述端子2形成矩阵的边缘一一对应,且二者的长度大致相等,每一凹槽13位于两凸块14之间,即每两个所述凹槽13都不相邻,可使所述绝缘本体1受到所述顶针4的顶推力分散,避免所述绝缘本体1脱模时,因为受力集中而遭到破坏。另外,由于所述绝缘本体1脱模并不需要很大力量,只需受力点均匀即可,故可适当减少所述凹槽13的数量,进而使更多的所述隔栏12凸伸形成所述凸块14,增加所述凸块14的数量,保证对所述芯片模块6的支撑力,本实施例中,为达到这一平衡,所述凹槽13的数量小于所述凸块14数量的一半,避免所述凹槽13数量过多导致所述凸块14数量过少。
所述凸块14设有一支撑面141,支撑所述芯片模块6,所述支撑面141呈长方形,所述凹槽13具有一底面131及自所述底面131周缘向上延伸形成且封闭的一侧面132,所述底面131也呈长方形,且所述支撑面141的面积大于所述底面131的面积,所述支撑面141的长边和所述底面131的长边平行,所述支撑面141的短边和所述底面131的短边平行,使整个所述凹槽13和所述凸块14于所述绝缘本体1的上表面分布更加均匀,增加所述绝缘本体1的稳定性。此外,所述凸块14面对所述弹性臂22的板面;所述凹槽13位于相邻的所述弹性臂22和所述连料部23之间。
如图7所示,为本发明电连接器绝缘本体1第二实施例,本实施例与第一实施例的主要不同在于,所述凹槽13位于所述隔栏12的正上方,即所述隔栏12的上表面未凹设形成所述凹槽13,所述凹槽13是自所述凸块14顶面向下凹陷形成,即所述支撑面141连接所述侧面132的顶端,这样,使所述凹槽13高于所述隔栏12的上表面,如此设置,所述凹槽13完全没有单独占用所述隔栏12的上表面的面积,即所述凹槽13和所述凸块14共用所述隔栏12的面积,既保证了所述凸块14的数量,又减小了所述隔栏12的上表面的面积,缩小所述端子2与端子2之间的间距。本实施例其它结构与第一实施例相同,在此并不累述。
综上所述,本发明电连接器100有下列有益效果:
(1)所述绝缘本体1向下凹设有所述凹槽13位于其中一个所述隔栏12上或所述隔栏12的正上方,且其中与所述凹槽13间隔的所有凸块14与所述凹槽13均不位于同一所述隔栏上,使一个所述隔栏12无需同时布置间隔的所述凹槽13和所述凸块14,可减小所述隔栏12的表面积,进而缩小所述端子2与端子2的间隔,利于所述电连接器100的端子2密集化的设计;
(2)所述隔栏12的上表面未凹设形成所述凹槽13,所述凹槽13自所述凸块14顶面向下凹陷形成,使所述凹槽13完全没有单独占用所述隔栏12的上表面的面积,所有的所述隔栏12都可凸伸形成所述凸块14,既保证了所述凸块14的数量,又减小了所述隔栏12的上表面积,缩小所述端子2与端子2之间的间距。

1.一种电连接器,用于电性连接一芯片模块,其特征在于,包括:
一绝缘本体,设有多排收容槽上下贯穿所述绝缘本体,每相邻两所述收容槽之间形成一隔栏;所述绝缘本体向下凹设有一凹槽位于其中一所述隔栏上或其中一所述隔栏的正上方,所述凹槽具有一底面及自所述底面周缘向上延伸形成且封闭的一侧面,所述凹槽用于供一顶针顶推以将所述绝缘本体从一模具中顶出;所述绝缘本体向上凸设有多数凸块,用于支撑所述芯片模块,其中与所述凹槽间隔的所有凸块与所述凹槽均不位于同一所述隔栏上,沿所述收容槽的排列方向所述凹槽与所述凸块对齐排列,任意相邻两所述凹槽之间具有所述凸块;
多个端子,对应收容于所述收容槽,用于导接所述芯片模块。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:多个所述凹槽和多个所述凸块共同呈一个矩阵排列。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凹槽自所述隔栏的上表面向下凹陷形成。

6.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凸块具有一支撑面,用于支撑所述芯片模块,所述支撑面和所述底面呈长方形,且所述支撑面的面积大于所述底面的面积。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述支撑面的长边和所述底面的长边平行,所述支撑面的短边和所述底面的短边平行。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凹槽的数量小于所述凸块数量。
9.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子为金属板材冲压形成,且具有一基部固持于所述收容槽,自所述基部向上弯折延伸形成一弹性臂,用于抵接所述芯片模块,所述凸块面对所述弹性臂的板面。
10.如权利要求9所述的电连接器,其特征在于:自所述基部的一侧竖直向上延伸形成一连料部,用于连接一料带,所述凹槽位于相邻的所述弹性臂和所述连料部之间。
