本发明涉及一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种可以增强高频性能的电连接器。
【背景技术】
与本发明相关的现有技术一,请参考2017年5月2日公告的美国专利第US9640915B2号,其公开了一种利用金属弹片连接接地端子的电连接器。冲压形成的金属弹片与接地端子之间的接触不够稳定。
与本发明相关的现有技术二,请参考2012年12月5日公告的中国专利第CN202585857U号,其公开了一种利用导电塑胶与接地端子连接的高速连接器。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于:提供一种电连接器,其能增强高频性能表现。
为解决上述问题,本发明可采用如下技术方案:
一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体和安装于绝缘本体的端子模组,所述绝缘本体设有用于对接元件插入配合的插槽,所述端子模组包括绝缘块和固定于绝缘块的若干端子,所述绝缘块固定于绝缘本体,每一端子包括固定于绝缘块的固持部、自固持部一端延伸入插槽内的接触部以及自固持部另一端延伸出的焊接部,所述若干端子包括若干信号端子和若干接地端子,其中所述端子模组还包括一体成型在绝缘块上的导电塑胶,所述导电塑胶电性连接若干接地端子。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有如下有益效果:由于导电塑胶一体成型在绝缘块上,导电塑胶与接地端子接触更加紧密可靠,从而屏蔽效果更好,进而增强了电连接器的高频性能。

【具体实施方式】
如图1至图10所示,一种电连接器100,其可以连接对接元件200和电路板300。在本实施例中,对接元件200为电子卡,电连接器100为卡缘连接器。电连接器100包括绝缘本体10、安装于绝缘本体10的端子模组20和抓板件30。
绝缘本体10具有主体部11和连接于主体部11纵长两侧的肩部12。主体部11设有沿竖直方向平行延伸的两侧壁111、连接于两侧壁111纵长两侧的端壁112、顶面113以及与顶面113相对设置的底面114。每一侧壁111向内凸伸有若干间隔肋115以及若干端子槽116,每一端子槽116形成于相邻两个间隔肋115之间。主体部11设有位于间隔肋115下方的安装槽117和由两排间隔肋限定形成的插槽118,所述安装槽117向下贯穿底面114,所述插槽118向上贯穿顶面113。安装槽117的宽度大于所述插槽118的宽度,安装槽117的长度大于所述插槽118的长度。
每一肩部12设有沿竖直方向贯穿的固持槽121,抓板件30沿从上向下的方向插入并固定至固持槽121。绝缘本体10还设有自其底面向下凸伸出的定位柱13,电路板300设有用于定位柱13插入安装的定位孔301和用于抓板件30插入的固定孔302。
端子模组20从下向上组装固定至绝缘本体10,端子模组20包括绝缘块21和固定于绝缘块21的若干端子22。绝缘块21收容于安装槽117内且与绝缘本体10干涉配合,从而固定于绝缘本体10。若干端子22分别插入至相应端子槽116内,每一端子22包括固定于绝缘块21的固持部225、自固持部225一端延伸入插槽118内的接触部226以及自固持部225另一端延伸出的焊接部227。接触部226用于夹持和接触对接元件200,焊接部227用于焊接至电路板300。若干端子22包括若干信号端子22S和若干接地端子22G,端子模组20还包括一体成型在绝缘块21上的导电塑胶23,导电塑胶23电性连接所有接地端子22G。
如图9所示,导电塑胶23包括连接于两排端子22之间的中间部分230,所述中间部分230与两排端子22中的接地端子22G物理并电性连接。导电塑胶23包括位于每排端子22外侧的外肩部239,所述外肩部239与两排端子22中的接地端子22G物理并电性连接。接地端子22G的正反两面,都与导电塑胶23接触,从而增加了接地端子22G与导电塑胶23接触的接触面,多点接地,从而接地屏蔽效果更好。
绝缘块21包括第一绝缘块211和第二绝缘块212,若干端子22包括第一排端子221和第二排端子222,导电塑胶23包括第一导电塑胶231和第二导电塑胶232。端子模组20包括沿宽度方向配合的第一端子模组24和第二端子模组25,第一端子模组24包括第一绝缘块211和固定于第一绝缘块211的第一排端子221,第二端子模组25包括第二绝缘块212和固定于第二绝缘块212的第二排端子222。
第一绝缘块211注塑成型在第一排端子221上,第二绝缘块212注塑成型在第二排端子222上。然后,第一导电塑胶231注塑成型第一绝缘块211上,以将第一排端子221中的所有接地端子22G物理和电性连接在一起。第一导电塑胶231包括分别成型在第一绝缘块211内外两侧面上的第一部分235和第二部分236。第二导电塑胶232注塑成型在第二绝缘块212上,以将第二排端子222中所有接地端子22G物理和电性连接在一起。第二导电塑胶232包括分别成型在第二绝缘块212内外两侧面上的第三部分237和第四部分238。接着将第一端子模组24和第二端子模组25沿宽度方向组装在一起,第一导电塑胶231和第二导电塑胶232物理和电性连接在一起,从而将第一排端子221和第二排端子222中的所有接地端子22G连接在一起形成接地回路。由于,导电塑胶23是通过注塑成型的一体成型至端子模组20上,不但使得导电塑胶23与端子模组20上的接地端子22G接触更加紧密可靠,而且简单了制造流程,从而在增加电连接器100的高频性能的同时还能降低制造成本。第一导电塑胶231的第二部分236与第二导电塑胶232的第三部分237物理接触,即第一导电塑胶231和第二导电塑胶232电性连接在一起,从而将两排端子22中的所有接地端子22G连接在一起形成接地回路,从而进一步增强了屏蔽效果和提高了电连接器100的高频表现性能。
第一绝缘块211和第二绝缘块212都设有将接地端子22G暴露在空气外的通槽26,第一导电塑胶231和第二导电塑胶232各自填充至相应通槽26内。第一绝缘块211和第二绝缘块212均设有方便第一导电塑胶231和第二导电塑胶232注塑成型的导槽27,所述导槽27与通槽26相贯通。通槽26和导槽27的设置方便了第一导电塑胶231和第二导电塑胶232的注塑成型。

1.一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体和安装于绝缘本体的端子模组,所述绝缘本体设有用于对接元件插入配合的插槽,所述端子模组包括绝缘块和固定于绝缘块的若干端子,所述绝缘块固定于绝缘本体,每一端子包括固定于绝缘块的固持部、自固持部一端延伸入插槽内的接触部以及自固持部另一端延伸出的焊接部,所述若干端子包括若干信号端子和若干接地端子,其特征在于:所述端子模组还包括一体成型在绝缘块上的导电塑胶,所述导电塑胶电性连接若干接地端子。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘块设有将接地端子暴露在空气外的通槽,所述导电塑胶填充至通槽内。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电塑胶注塑成型在绝缘块上,所述绝缘块设有方便导电塑胶注塑成型的导槽,所述导槽与通槽相贯通。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体设有沿纵长方向延伸的两侧壁,每一侧壁设有若干端子槽,所述若干端子包括分别安装在两侧壁端子槽的两排端子,所述导电塑胶包括连接于两排导电端子之间的中间部分,所述中间部分与两排端子中的接地端子物理并电性连接。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电塑胶包括位于每排端子外侧的外肩部,所述外肩部与两排端子中的接地端子物理并电性连接。
6.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体包括自侧壁向内延伸的若干间隔肋,纵长方向的相邻间隔肋之间形成一所述端子槽,所述绝缘本体包括位于间隔肋下方的安装槽,所述绝缘块收容于安装槽内且与绝缘本体干涉配合。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述安装槽的宽度大于所述插槽的宽度,所述安装槽的长度大于所述插槽的长度。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子模组包括沿宽度方向配合的第一端子模组和第二端子模组,所述第一端子模组包括第一绝缘块和固定于第一绝缘块的第一排端子,所述第二端子模组包括第二绝缘块和固定于第二绝缘块的第二排端子,所述导电塑胶包括注塑成型在第一绝缘块上的第一导电塑胶和注塑成型在第二绝缘块上的第二导电塑胶,所述第一导电塑胶与第一排端子中的接地端子物理和电性连接,所述第二导电塑胶与第二排端子中的接地端子物理和电性连接。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一绝缘块注塑成型在第一排端子上,所述第二绝缘块注塑成型在第二排端子上,所述第一导电塑胶和第二导电塑胶物理和电性连接。
10.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体包括主体部和自连接于主体部纵长两侧的肩部,所述插槽设置于主体部,所述肩部安装有用固定至外部电路板的抓板件。
