Abstract

背景技术
塑料由于其易于制造和易于使用而被用作各种制品的材料,并且被用于各种领域,例如用于一次性制品,如包装膜、一次性容器(如一次性杯子和一次性盘子),以及建筑材料和汽车内饰材料。
特别地,由于聚碳酸亚烷基酯树脂具有透明性和高氧气阻隔性,所以它们在应用于食品包装时具有长时间保持食品新鲜度的优点。然而,由于聚碳酸亚烷基酯树脂具有低的玻璃化转变温度(Tg,~20℃)和粘合性,所以其具有所制备的膜在室温下彼此粘附的特点,从而难以单独使用。此外,聚烯烃膜通常用作食品包装用膜,但聚烯烃膜的缺点在于,虽然它们具有良好的水分阻隔性,但它们具有低的氧气阻隔性。
在这方面,当生产聚烯烃膜/聚碳酸亚烷基酯膜/聚烯烃膜时,由于结合了聚碳酸亚烷基酯膜的高氧气阻隔性以及常规的食品包装用聚烯烃膜的性质,所以可以制造具有良好氧气阻隔性的食品包装用膜。然而,具有极性或亲水性的聚碳酸亚烷基酯膜和具有非极性或疏水性的聚烯烃膜由于物理性质的差异而不相容。结果,存在即使在施加热熔合的情况下,也不能在室温下或甚至高温下实现直接结合的问题。
另一方面,韩国专利公开号2015-0087084公开了一种在这种聚烯烃膜和聚碳酸亚烷基酯膜之间引入作为粘合剂层的连接层(tie layer)的方法。然而,如果以这种方式引入连接层,可以粘合,但是其缺点在于制造复杂,因为其必须加工成5层或更多层。另外,引入昂贵的连接层会导致最终产品的价格竞争力降低。

本公开的另一目的是提供一种有效制造包含聚碳酸亚烷基酯的多层膜的方法。
技术方案
根据本公开的实施方式,提供一种多层膜,其包括:包含60重量%至80重量%的至少一种聚碳酸亚烷基酯和20重量%至40重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物的芯层;以及与所述芯层相邻并且包含50重量%以上的至少一种聚烯烃的外层。
所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯可以具有30,000g/mol至300,000g/mol的重均分子量,并且可以是聚碳酸亚乙酯、聚碳酸亚丙酯或其混合物。
另外,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯可以是通过使二氧化碳与至少一种环氧化合物反应得到的聚碳酸酯共聚物或三元共聚物,所述至少一种环氧化合物选自被卤素或C1-10烷氧基取代或未被取代的C2-20环氧烷烃;被卤素或C1-10烷氧基取代或未被取代的C4-20环氧环烷烃(cycloalkylene oxide);以及被卤素、C1-10烷氧基、C1-10烷基或C6-20芳基取代或未被取代的C8-20氧化苯乙烯。
所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物可具有20重量%至40重量%的量的乙酸乙烯酯单元。
本公开的多层膜的总厚度可以为100μm以下,并且通过ASTM D 3985的方法测量的氧气渗透率可以为500cc/m2·天·巴以下。
根据本公开的另一个实施方式,提供一种多层膜的制造方法,其包括以下步骤:a)将60重量%至80重量%的至少一种聚碳酸亚烷基酯与20重量%至40重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物混合以制备第一树脂组合物;b)制备包含50重量%以上的至少一种聚烯烃的第二树脂组合物;以及c)将所述第一树脂组合物和所述第二树脂组合物熔融,然后使用吹塑或流延型成膜机共挤出。
在步骤c)的共挤出过程中,可以将所述第一树脂组合物和所述第二树脂组合物层压成两层或更多层,所述第一树脂组合物可以在130℃至200℃下熔融并挤出,并且所述第二树脂组合物可以在140℃至250℃下熔融并挤出。
技术效果
根据本公开,通过将以预定比例共混聚碳酸亚烷基酯和乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物制备的膜层设置在芯层中,可以使其与包含聚烯烃的外层有效地粘合,而无需单独的粘合剂层,可以有效地生产具有优异的氧气阻隔性等的2层或3层的多层膜。

在下文中,将更详细地解释包含聚碳酸亚烷基酯的多层膜及其制造方法。
根据本公开的一个实施方式,提供一种多层膜,其包括:包含60重量%至80重量%的至少一种聚碳酸亚烷基酯和20重量%至40重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物的芯层;以及与所述芯层相邻并且包含50重量%以上的至少一种聚烯烃的外层。
特别地,本公开涉及一种多层膜,例如PE-PEC混合物-PE共挤出吹塑膜,其通过包括以下步骤的制造方法制备:用通过将乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯树脂(EVA)共混到聚碳酸亚乙酯树脂(PEC)中而制备的母料粒料形成芯层,并且用聚烯烃树脂形成外层。这种多层膜的特征在于具有优异的氧气阻隔性,而膜之间没有分层行为。
所述多层膜的芯层包含60重量%至80重量%的至少一种聚碳酸亚烷基酯和20重量%至40重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物。
就实现氧气阻隔性而言,所述芯层中的聚碳酸亚烷基酯优选地以尽可能多的量来包含,特别地,其含量应为60重量%以上。然而,就实现高氧气阻隔性和与烯烃树脂的优异粘合性而言,其含量应为80重量%以下。另外,就与烯烃树脂的粘合性而言,所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物的含量应为20重量%以上,并且就实现膜的氧气阻隔性和透明性而言,所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物的含量应为40重量%以下。更优选地,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯含量可以为65重量%至75重量%,并且所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物含量可以为25重量%至35重量%。
特别地,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯与所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯具有良好的相容性,并且它们均匀混合。另外,乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯与烯烃具有良好的相容性,从而充当聚碳酸亚烷基酯和烯烃之间的桥梁。然而,由于乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯的氧气阻隔性差,因此当其过量混合时,氧气阻隔性降低。因此,就实现高氧气阻隔性而言,优选其含量为40重量%以下。然而,如果乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯的量被大大降低以改善氧气阻隔性,则与烯烃树脂的粘合性变差并发生分层。因此,就防止分层而言,其含量应该为20重量%以上。特别地,最优选使用具有高乙酸乙烯酯含量的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯树脂。例如,基于全部混合物,乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯树脂中的乙酸乙烯酯含量更优选为4重量%至16重量%。而且,所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯树脂具有与聚碳酸亚烷基酯不同的折射率。因此,过量地混合乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯树脂是不可取的,因为膜的混浊度增加。因此,就保持多层膜的氧气阻隔性和透明性同时保持与烯烃膜的粘合性而言,需要保持上述组成。
所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯可以具有30,000g/mol至300,000g/mol,优选45,000g/mol至280,000g/mol,并且更优选50,000g/mol至250,000g/mol的重均分子量,并且可以是聚碳酸亚乙酯、聚碳酸亚丙酯或其混合物。
另外,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯是通过使二氧化碳与至少一种环氧化合物反应得到的聚碳酸酯共聚物或三元共聚物,所述至少一种环氧化合物选自被卤素或C1-10烷氧基取代或未被取代的C2-20环氧烷烃;被卤素或C1-10烷氧基取代或未被取代的C4-20环氧环烷烃;以及被卤素、C1-10烷氧基、C1-10烷基或C6-20芳基取代或未被取代的C8-20氧化苯乙烯。
在本公开中使用的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物树脂中的乙酸乙烯酯优选地以尽可能多的量来包含,并且所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物中乙酸乙烯酯单元的含量可以为20重量%至40重量%,或25重量%至40重量%。基于全部混合物,所述乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯树脂中的乙酸乙烯酯含量可以为4重量%至16重量%,或5重量%至15重量%,并且例如为7重量%至15重量%。
另外,本公开的多层膜包括与所述芯层相邻并且包含50重量%以上的至少一种聚烯烃的外层。就实现优异的拉伸强度而言,所述外层中的聚烯烃含量应为50重量%以上。例如,可以通过将低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)以基于线型低密度聚乙烯LLDPE总量10重量%至20重量%的量与主要组分线型低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)混合以提高可加工性来制备所述聚烯烃。基于总重量,LLDPE和LDPE树脂的重量百分比可以为9重量%以上,并且优选地,基于总重量,LLDPE和LDPE的总和可以为约70重量%。所述聚烯烃可以1000ppm以下,或100ppm至1000ppm的量进一步包含至少一种添加剂,例如基于酰胺的增滑剂。
另外,所述聚烯烃可具有0.7至2.0的熔体流动速率(MI)和3至5的分子量分布(Mn/Mw)。
如上所述,由于本公开的多层膜包含通过共混聚碳酸亚乙酯(PEC)等和乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)而获得的芯层和含有聚烯烃的外层,因此在不引入单独的粘合剂层时膜之间没有分层行为,并且具有优异的氧气阻隔性。
根据本公开的聚碳酸亚烷基酯膜通过将一定量的EVA混入PEC中来提高与聚烯烃的粘合性,因为其不直接粘附到聚烯烃膜上。此外,通过优化EVA的量,将PEC的氧气阻隔性保持在一定水平,并且其氧气阻隔性比相同厚度的单一聚烯烃膜的氧气阻隔性高四倍以上。
特别地,所述多层膜可以具有100μm以下,或者10μm至100μm,优选70μm以下,或者55μm以下的总膜厚度。所述多层膜的每一层可以具有均匀的厚度,这可以通过SEM分析来确认。按照美国材料试验协会标准ASTM D3985的方法测量的氧气渗透率可以是500cc/m2·天·巴以下(在23℃,相对湿度0%,50%,90%下测量)或3至500cc/m2·天·巴,优选为300cc/m2·天·巴以下,更优选为100cc/m2·天·巴以下。同时,所述多层膜具有非常高的水分阻隔性能,并且当在37℃和100%相对湿度的条件下测量时,透水性可以为10g/m2·天以下,或0.1g/m2·天至10g/m2·天,优选8g/m2·天以下,更优选8g/m2·天以下。此外,由于本公开的多层膜使得芯层和外层彼此不分离,因此不能单独地测量剥离强度。然而,由于所述多层膜在不引入单独的粘合剂层时在所述芯层和所述外层之间没有分层行为,因此可以评估其具有优异的粘合性。
根据本公开的另一个实施方式,提供了一种包含聚碳酸亚烷基酯的多层膜的制造方法。具体地,所述多层膜的制造方法包括以下步骤:a)将60重量%至80重量%的至少一种聚碳酸亚烷基酯与20重量%至40重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物混合以制备第一树脂组合物;b)制备包含50重量%以上的至少一种聚烯烃的第二树脂组合物;以及c)将所述第一树脂组合物和所述第二树脂组合物熔融,然后使用吹塑或流延型成膜机共挤出。
在本公开中,可以通过调节膜的卷绕速度以控制膜的厚度来制造吹塑膜。
特别地,在根据本公开的多层膜的制造方法中,通过共混聚碳酸亚烷基酯和乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物获得的芯层被粘附到包含聚烯烃的外层。因此,根据本公开的多层膜与引入作为常规粘合剂层的连接层的5层膜相比,其特征在于2层或3层膜,由此通过非常简单的制造工艺有效地降低了整个生产成本。
首先,通过使聚碳酸亚乙酯(PEC)等与乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)共混来进行制备构成本公开的多层膜中的芯层的第一树脂组合物的步骤a)。此外,母料可以通过在70℃至180℃的温度下使用双螺杆挤出机将PEC树脂和EVA树脂以一定比例干混而制得。
这里,就氧气阻隔性而言,所述第一树脂组合物中的聚碳酸亚烷基酯的含量应为60重量%以上,并且就与烯烃树脂的粘合性而言,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯的含量应为80重量%以下。另外,就与烯烃树脂的粘合性而言,所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯的含量应为20重量%以上,并且就膜的氧气阻隔性和透明性而言,所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯的含量应为40重量%以下。优选地,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯含量可以为65重量%至75重量%,并且所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物含量可以为25重量%至35重量%。
此外,与所述第一树脂组合物一起,进行制备在本公开的多层膜中的构成外层的第二树脂组合物的步骤b)。
就实现优异的拉伸强度而言,所述第二树脂组合物中聚烯烃的含量应为50重量%以上。
这里,与在所述第一和第二树脂组合物中的聚碳酸亚烷基酯、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物和聚烯烃有关的种类、分子量、物理性质范围、组成特征等如上所述。
在制备所述第一组合物和所述第二树脂组合物之后,进行熔融这些组合物,然后使用吹塑或流延型成膜机共挤出的步骤c)。
在步骤c)的共挤出期间,可以将所述第一树脂组合物和所述第二树脂组合物层压成两层或更多层。此外,在共挤出期间,所述第一树脂组合物可以在130℃至200℃下熔融并挤出,并且所述第二树脂组合物可以在140℃至250℃下熔融和挤出。例如,所述熔融挤出可以以一般的共挤出方法进行,并且其优点在于可以在没有特殊设备的情况下使用常规的LDPE共挤出设备。另外,可以在挤出PEC树脂和EVA树脂吹塑膜之前使用双螺杆挤出机在70℃至180℃的温度下生产母料。
除了上述步骤以外,所述多层膜的制造方法还可以包括本发明领域中通常进行的步骤。
在下文中,将详细描述本发明的优选实施方式。然而,这些实施例仅用于说明的目的,并且本发明并不意图受这些实施例的限制。
<实施例>
实施例1
将30重量%的EVA树脂(LG化学,EC33018级,VA含量33重量%)与70重量%的PEC树脂(总计100重量%)混合,并在40℃的真空烘箱中干燥12小时以上,然后使用双螺杆挤出机混合以获得颗粒。使用能够制造3层膜的吹塑膜设备,利用共挤出吹塑膜工艺,对于内层制备应用该颗粒的膜,对于外层制备LLDPE(LG化学S1020L级)膜,然后获得厚度约50μm的3层膜。观察3层膜各层是否剥离,并且通过ASTM D 3985方法测量该膜的氧气渗透率。
实施例2
除了将EVA的含量变为40重量%并与PEC共混以外,以与实施例1中相同的方式制备多层膜并评价其性能。
对比实施例1
除了对于内层制备其中应用了与10重量%EVA共混的PEC的膜,并且通过应用LLDPE共挤出外层以外,以与实施例1中相同的方式制备具有约50μm厚度的3层膜(PE-PEC混合物-PE膜)。观察3层膜各层是否剥离。
对比实施例2
除了对于内层制备其中应用了与15重量%EVA共混的PEC的膜,并且通过应用LLDPE共挤出外层以外,以与实施例1中相同的方式制备具有约50μm厚度的3层膜(PE-PEC混合物-PE膜)。观察3层膜各层是否剥离。
对比实施例3
除了对于内层制备单独应用PEC而不共混EVA的膜,并且通过应用LLDPE共挤出外层以外,以与实施例1中相同的方式制备具有约50μm厚度的3层膜(PE-PEC-PE膜)。观察3层膜各层是否剥离。
对比实施例4
除了不使用PEC和单独应用LLDPE以外,以与实施例1中相同的方式制备厚度约50μm的膜。通过ASTM D 3985的方法测量氧气渗透率。
根据实施例1和2以及对比实施例1至4制备膜,并评价它们的性能。结果显示在下表1中。

如表1所示,当根据本发明的实施例1和2通过优化芯层中的EVA含量来制备PE-PEC混合物-PE的3层膜时,通过结合PEC的高氧气阻隔性和LLDPE膜的常规食品包装特性可以制造具有良好的氧气阻隔性的食品包装膜,而在芯层和外层之间没有分层行为。特别地,在实施例1的情况下,当测量所制备的膜的氧气渗透率时,证实其具有将氧气渗透率显著降低至相同厚度的LDPE膜的约1/4的优异效果。
此外,当以已知的方式施加连接层时,存在制造复杂的缺点,因为其必须用烯烃-连接-PEC-连接-烯烃的五层或更多层制造。另外,引入昂贵的连接层会导致最终产品的价格竞争力降低。

Claims (8)

1.一种多层膜,其包括:
包含60重量%至80重量%的至少一种聚碳酸亚烷基酯和20重量%至40重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物的芯层;以及
与所述芯层相邻并且包含50重量%以上的至少一种聚烯烃的外层,
其中,所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物具有20重量%至40重量%的量的乙酸乙烯酯单元,并且
所述多层膜当在37℃和100%相对湿度的条件下测量时,透水性为10g/m2·天以下。
2.根据权利要求1所述的多层膜,其中,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯具有30,000g/mol至300,000g/mol的重均分子量。
3.根据权利要求1所述的多层膜,其中,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯是聚碳酸亚乙酯、聚碳酸亚丙酯或其混合物。
4.根据权利要求1所述的多层膜,其中,所述聚碳酸亚烷基酯是通过使二氧化碳与至少一种环氧化合物反应得到的聚碳酸酯共聚物或三元共聚物,所述至少一种环氧化合物选自被卤素或C1-10烷氧基取代或未被取代的C2-20环氧烷烃;被卤素或C1-10烷氧基取代或未被取代的C4-20环氧环烷烃;以及被卤素、C1-10烷氧基、C1-10烷基或C6-20芳基取代或未被取代的C8-20氧化苯乙烯。
5.根据权利要求1所述的多层膜,其中,膜的总厚度为100μm以下,并且通过ASTM D3985的方法测量的氧气渗透率为500cc/m2·天·巴以下。
6.一种权利要求1所述的多层膜的制造方法,其包括以下步骤:
a)将60重量%至80重量%的至少一种聚碳酸亚烷基酯与20重量%至40重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物混合以制备第一树脂组合物;
b)制备包含50重量%以上的至少一种聚烯烃的第二树脂组合物;以及
c)将所述第一树脂组合物和所述第二树脂组合物熔融,然后使用吹塑或流延型成膜机共挤出。
7.根据权利要求6所述的制造方法,其中,在步骤c)的共挤出期间,将所述第一树脂组合物和所述第二树脂组合物层压成两层或更多层。
8.根据权利要求6所述的制造方法,其中,在步骤c)的共挤出期间,所述第一树脂组合物在130℃至200℃下熔融和挤出,并且所述第二树脂组合物在140℃至250℃下熔融和挤出。
