Abstract

推荐一种转移膜,该转移膜既可以实现由转移膜将热压装饰单元转移到基底上,又可以对基底在热转印印刷过程中单独加以特征标记,为此转移膜一方面包含有热压膜的装饰层配置,另一方面也包含有热转印层,装饰层配置和热转印层段置在载膜的分隔开的区段内。

Description

转移膜
本发明涉及一种转移膜(übertragungsfolie),该转移膜由载膜和至少一层借助热和/或压力可以区域性地由载膜上脱离并转移到基底上的颜料层(Farbschicht)构成。
为实现对基底表面的装饰,广泛地采用所谓的热压膜(Heiβprgefolie)。该膜具有一载膜,在载膜上备有一个装饰层配置,该装饰层配置借助热和/或压力可以从载膜上脱离并可转移到基底上。热压膜的装饰层配置通常由多层相对稳定的漆层构成并利用一特殊的粘合剂层固定在基底上。其中采用印刷方法将漆层覆着在载膜上。采用此方式可产生相应的装饰,这些装饰将显现在用热压膜装饰的基底上。
为了保证装饰层配置的待转移范围干净的脱离并转移到基底上,在对热压膜的装饰层配置实施转移时必须用足够高的压力和温度进行处理,这是因为装饰层配置具有相对较高的稳定性。这意味着,必须采用相对坚固的工具。采用例如由感热式印字机已知的方式对热压膜进行处理是不可能的,这是因为感热式印字机的打印头不能实现将装饰层配置由热压膜转移到基底上所需的压力和温度。
而且还已知,采用热转印印刷(Thermotransferdruck)的方法对相应的基底,主要是纸张加以装饰,尤其是印刷上字符。其中也是由一载膜上将相应的热转印层转移到基底上。已知的热转印层可以允许用相对短暂的温度脉冲和低的压力进行的处理,因而可以允许制造出具有精密分辨率的合适打印头,该打印头此外例如在形成数字和字母时针对不同象素的配置可持续地加以变化。
最近热压膜越来越广泛地被应用于将防伪标识覆着在不同的基底上。例如已知在热压膜的装饰层配置中可以设计起着光折射作用的细微结构并利用热压方法将此结构转移到诸如有价证券、信用卡、凭证等基底上。在该应用领域经常希望有价证券上不仅有防伪标识,这种防伪标识对整个系列的有价证券都是相同的。另外,大多数情况还希望对有价证券单独特征化,例如标出凭证持有者的姓名、设置标号等,其中很容易实现凭证与凭证间的单独特征附加部分(姓名,标号等)的变化,而且当印在凭证上之后可以在很大程度上防止作伪变更。
为实现此目的这时可考虑,在第一个工作步骤利用通常的热压膜在有价证券上设置防伪标识并且接着在第二个工作步骤通过采用热转印印刷设置字符、数字组合等实现单独特征化。但此方法的最大的缺点在于,需要较为复杂的机器,该机器应把有待防伪处理或标识的有价证券由第一个工作站输送至第二个工作站,在第一个工作站利用热压膜施加防伪标识,在第二个工作站实现热转印印刷。其中首先存在热压和热转印印刷时有价证券的精确的定位问题,以便避免各种防伪标识出现不希望的偏移,这种偏移有时会导致防伪标识以不希望的方式叠加在一起并因而出现废品。
本发明的目的在于,提供一种当有价证券一方面要利用热压膜设置一诸如防伪标识的装饰单元,另一方面利用热转印印刷设置单独特征化的标志时减少机器花费的方案。
为实现此目的,依照本发明建议,装备或应用一种本说明书引言部分所述方式的转移膜,该种转移膜的特征在于,在载膜同一侧的分隔开的区段内一方面设有热压膜的装饰层配置并且另一方面设有适于热转印印刷的热转印层,并且载膜是厚度为3.5至19μm的塑料膜。
依照本发明的转移膜的优异特点在于,首先将专门适用于不同的转移方法的各转移层同时设置在载膜上,即一方面适用于采用热压方法的装饰层配置,另一方面适用于采用热转印印刷的热转印层。装饰层配置和热转印层分别存在于分隔开的区段内,其中“分隔开”的并不非得意味着,不同的区段相互间隔一定的距离设置。它们仅需要相互界限清楚,但也可以直接连接在一起。在采用这种转移膜时,无需从分开的转移膜一方面将热压装饰并且另一方面将热转印图案施于诸如有价证券的基底上。对于装饰及印刷两个过程采用同一转移膜,从而与采用两个分开的转移膜相比可明显地降低机器花费。例如可考虑当相应地设置一方面对于热压膜来说必要的冲头和另一方面对于热转印印刷必要的打印头,例如在转移膜的输送方向并列设置时,基本上同时地在静止的转移膜上实现一方面的热压和另一方面的热转印印刷。
如果依照本发明的进一步设计。在转移膜上成条带状设置装饰层配置和热转印层,则将便于热压冲头和热打印头的这种设置。
而且还可以采用如下方式实现装饰层配置对应于热压冲头以及热转印层对应于热打印头的精确的定位,即在载膜上设有套印标志(Passermarken),利用此标志可以保证转移膜被置于分别为转移装饰层配置以及热转印层预设的正确的位置上。
可采用如下方式实现一方面对于被转移到基底上的装饰层配置以及另一方面对于经热转印印刷形成的标记的非常可靠的保护,依照本发明在载膜与装饰层配置以及热转印层之间设有一层连续的、可转移到基底上的、透明的保护漆层。这种保护漆层用于防止机械作用对装饰层配置和热转印层的影响。由于保护漆层是连续的,因而作伪是很困难的,这是因为要想进行部分的改动,势必要破坏保护漆层,对此用相应的仪器,例如用放大镜就会发觉。
在载膜的与装饰层配置和热转印层相反的一侧上覆着有一层本身由热转移膜已知的防粘连层(Gleitschicht),这尤其对采用特定的热打印头是相宜的。
选择合适的载膜是制造本发明的转移膜的一个特殊的问题。为实现干净的热转印印刷,这种载膜不能太厚和太硬。但另一方面它又必须具有充分的热稳定性和机械强度,以便可以作为热压膜的载膜加以应用,此时的工作温度和压力都不同于热转印印刷。为了满足此要求,根据本发明经证明采用聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯是有益的。
载膜的优选厚度为5.5至12μm。
如上所述,本发明采用的装饰层配置涉及的是一种本身由热压膜已知的配置,该配置宜从载膜开始含有一层保护漆层、至少一层装饰结构的漆层以及一层粘合剂层。由于采用的是对热压膜通用的装饰层配置,因而对本发明的转移膜可以实现许多设计方案。例如装饰层配置通过对漆层不同颜色的应用可以含有特定的图形、标识等。但装饰层配置同样也可以具有起着光学作用的结构,在此情况下装饰层配置至少应区域性地金属化。但在此对装饰层配置的结构细节不再赘述,这是因为该结构总的来说由热压膜,尤其甚至在安全领域已是已知的。
下面将对照附图对实施例加以说明,从而使人们了解本发明转移膜的其它特征、细节和优点,在附图中示出一段转移膜的剖面。鉴于仅需说明转移膜的原理结构,故这里要指出的是,图中各层的厚度并未按真实比例示出。
依照实施例的转移膜含有一个载膜1,该载膜例如是聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜,其厚度为3.5~19μm,其优选厚度为5.7~12μm。
该载膜的一侧上有一层防粘连层2,该防粘连层用于避免载膜粘着在打印头或冲头上。
在所示实施例中,在载膜1的与防粘连层相对的一侧备有连续的、透明的保护漆层3,当然,任选地也可以省去此保护漆层。也可以考虑,在保护漆层3和载膜1间设置一层由热压膜已知的分离层,但采用一种漆作为保护漆层3的材料时,如果该材料可相应容易地脱离开载膜1,也可以省去此层。
在所示实施例中,在保护漆层3上载有三个不同的单元,即整个用4标示的装饰层配置、热转印层5以及套印标记6。
如图明确所示,分别在载膜1表面的分隔开的区段内一方面设置有装饰层配置4,另一方面设置有热转印层5,其中依照实施例在带有装饰层配置4的区段与带有热转印层5的区段间有一间隔。但实际上对区段也可以这样设置,使它们直接连接。
热转印层5通常只有一层并且套印标记6也仅由一漆层构成,而装饰层配置4通常具有多层,即至少一层装饰结构的漆层以及一粘合剂8,该漆层在所示实施例中由漆7a和7b构成,该漆7a和7b构成特定的图案,所述粘合剂层用于将装饰层配置4固定在基底上。
可以采用由热压膜已知的方法以不同的方式对装饰层配置4加以设计。例如漆层7a和7b仅具有不同的颜色,以便通过此方式实现装饰效果。但也可以考虑漆层7a和7b具有不同的透光性。另外例如也可以在漆层7a、7b与保护漆层3间的界面9上备有立体结构,以便通过此方式实现特定的光学效果,例如光折射等。在此情况时宜对界面9金属化,以使光学效果鲜明地显现出。
通过本发明的热压膜装饰层配置4与热转印层5的结合实现了单独特征化。例如可以以装饰层配置的方式将装饰图案、公司标识或其它防伪标识设置在凭证、标牌、有价证券等上面,这些凭证、标牌、有价证券等分别单独地利用热转印层设置单独特征化的标记。在采用本发明的转移膜时一般先后地一方面在热压单元设置装饰层配置4,另一方面在热印单元利用热转印层5设置单独特征化的标记。采用此方法时利用热压工艺将装饰层配置4或者整个地,但也可以仅局部地转移到基底上,其中宜以如下方式进行,装饰层配置4本身已经构成相应的图案,以便可以整体转移。借助通常并不伴随转移到基底上的套印标记6实现装饰层配置4和用于形成单独特征化标记的热转印层5的精确定位。
作为基底可以采用不同的材料,例如PVC、PC、PET等塑料卡片。而且对塑料或纸质标牌或有价证券也可以进行相应装饰。

Claims (8)

1.一种转移膜,该转移膜由一载膜和至少一层借助热和/或压力可以区域性地从载膜上脱离并转移到基底上的颜料层构成,其特征在于:在载膜(1)同一侧的分开的区段内一方面设有热压膜的装饰层配置(4)和另一方面设有适于借助于热打印头热转印印刷的热转印层(5),并且载膜(1)是厚度为3.5至19μm的塑料膜。
2.依照权利要求1的转移膜,其特征在于:在载膜上设有套印标记(6)。
3.依照权利要求1或2的转移膜,其特征在于:装饰层配置(4)和热转印层(5)成带状设置。
4.依照权利要求1或2的转移膜,其特征在于:在载膜(1)与装饰层配置(4)以及热转印层(5)之间设有一层连续的、可转移到基底上的透明的保护漆层(3)。
5.依照权利要求1或2的转移膜,其特征在于:在载膜(1)的与装饰层配置(4)和热转印层(5)相反的一侧上载有防粘连层(2)。
6.依照权利要求1或2的转移膜,其特征在于:载膜(1)是聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯薄膜。
7.依照权利要求1或2的转移膜,其特征在于:载膜(1)的厚度为5.5至12μm。
8.依照权利要求1或2的转移膜,其特征在于:由载膜(1)开始装饰层配置(4)包含有保护漆层(3),至少一个装饰性结构的漆层(7a,7b)以及一粘合剂层(8)。
