Abstract
本发明提供在滑动面具有树脂涂膜的定影装置用滑动部件中能够在该树脂涂膜的表面形成成为润滑剂保持部的微细的凹槽等的定影装置用剥离部件的制造方法。定影装置用剥离部件的制造方法,具备:在滑动部件的基材的至少与带部件滑动的滑动面涂布含有基体树脂的树脂涂料后使其干燥而形成树脂涂膜的涂膜形成工序、和将该树脂涂膜烧成而使其固化的涂膜烧成工序,在涂膜形成工序之后、涂膜烧成工序之前,具有在树脂涂膜的表面加工形成在涂膜烧成工序后成为润滑剂保持部的凹部的凹部形成工序。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及定影装置用的滑动部件的制造方法,详细地说,涉及在带辊隙(ベルトニップ)方式的定影装置中在带与挤压部件之间为了减小与该带的转动所伴随的滑动阻力而使用的滑动部件的制造方法。
背景技术
在复印机、激光束打印机等电子照相装置中,通过定影装置将在用纸上所形成的未定影调色剂像定影而形成图像。作为该定影装置,已知:具备加热辊和与该加热辊接触地配置的加压带的构成、具备加热带和与该加热带接触地配置的加压辊的构成等称为带辊隙方式的定影装置。在这些定影装置中,通过挤压部件将带从内面向另一辊挤压而配置,在该带与挤压部件之间,为了减小与带的转动所伴随的滑动阻力,使滑动部件介于其间。另外,为了进一步减小带的内周面与滑动部件的滑动面的摩擦,向带的内周面涂布·供给作为润滑剂的润滑油、润滑脂。
作为该滑动部件,已知专利文献1~专利文献4这样的滑动部件。在专利文献1中记载了:在与上述的滑动部件相当的滑动片中,通过使用金属丝网的压花加工将格子状的凹凸形状形成于聚四氟乙烯(以下记为PTFE)树脂层、交联PTFE树脂层。在专利文献2中记载了:为了减小定影膜与膜导部件的滑动摩擦阻力,在这些部件的滑动面设置了多个凹部、沟槽。在专利文献3中记载了:在加热辊内面设置了保持润滑剂的凹部。在专利文献4中记载了:在相当于上述的滑动部件的滑动片的表面反复具有厚的部分和薄的部分。
另外,已知如下的滑动部件:为了进一步改善滑动特性,对位于带的内面的挤压部件的基材的滑动面实施凹窝(ディンプル)凹孔、沟槽加工,在该面形成树脂被膜而设置了油窝。

发明内容
发明要解决的课题
就对滑动部件的与带进行滑动的面施以凹槽加工、凹窝凹孔等、在该面形成树脂被膜而设置了油窝的滑动部件而言,油窝的凹窝直径、沟槽宽等变大,相应地,被辊挤压时的受压面减少。由此,树脂被膜磨损等,产生了摩擦系数经时地增加等润滑不利情形。为了使得即使继续使用也能够抑制摩擦系数的提高,希望在树脂被膜表面形成微细且精密的油窝(凹槽等)。
为了在滑动部的表面设置微细的油窝,如果在挤压部件的基材的滑动面加工微细的凹槽后使用树脂涂料来形成树脂被膜,有时树脂没有进入微细的沟槽部,有时被树脂填埋。另外,即使要在被膜形成后(烧成后)后加工微细的凹槽,被膜为硬质的,不能转印形成,如果施加强对力,有可能被膜破裂等。因而,在最终的滑动部件的树脂被膜表面得到微细的凹槽并不容易。
本发明为了应对这样的问题而完成,目的在于提供在滑动面具有树脂涂膜的定影装置用滑动部件中能够在该树脂涂膜的表面形成成为润滑剂保持部的微细的凹槽等的定影装置用剥离部件的制造方法。
用于解决课题的手段
就本发明的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法而言,是在具有通过加热手段而被加热、通过驱动手段而进行转动的定影部件、随着上述定影部件的转动而进行转动的带部件和将该带部件向上述定影部件侧挤压的挤压部件并且在经由上述带部件而与上述定影部件之间形成压料部的定影装置中、介于上述带部件与上述挤压部件之间的滑动部件的制造方法,其特征在于,该制造方法具备:在上述滑动部件的基材的至少与上述带部件滑动的滑动面涂布含有基体树脂的树脂涂料后使其干燥而形成树脂涂膜的涂膜形成工序、和将该树脂涂膜烧成而使其固化的涂膜烧成工序,在上述涂膜形成工序之后、上述涂膜烧成工序之前,具有在上述树脂涂膜的表面加工形成在上述涂膜烧成工序后成为润滑剂保持部的凹部的凹部形成工序。
其特征在于,上述基体树脂为聚酰胺酰亚胺(以下记为PAI)树脂。另外,其特征在于,上述树脂涂膜为在基体树脂中至少含有氟树脂粉末和石墨粉末的树脂涂膜,相对于上述基体树脂100重量份,该树脂涂膜含有25~70重量份的上述氟树脂、1~20重量份的上述石墨。另外,其特征在于,上述氟树脂为PTFE树脂,上述石墨为固定碳97.5%以上的石墨。
其特征在于,在上述凹部形成工序中加工形成的上述凹部为几何学花纹沟槽或流体动压力沟槽。另外,其特征在于,上述几何学花纹沟槽为一方向倾斜花纹沟槽或网纹花纹沟槽。
发明的效果
本发明的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法具有:在滑动部件的基材的至少与带部件进行滑动的滑动面涂布了包含基体树脂的树脂涂料后使其干燥而形成树脂涂膜的涂膜形成工序;和将该树脂涂膜烧成而使其固化的涂膜烧成工序,在涂膜形成工序与涂膜烧成工序之间具有在树脂涂膜的表面加工形成在涂膜烧成工序后成为润滑剂保持部的凹部的凹部形成工序。即,在涂膜形成工序与涂膜烧成工序之间夹着凹部形成工序,由此通过转印等容易地在涂布干燥后即刻的柔软的状态的树脂涂膜形成凹部,将其烧成固化,能够形成具有由该凹部构成的润滑剂保持部的树脂涂膜。由此,与在涂膜形成后(烧成后)在其表面形成凹部的情形、在树脂涂膜形成前在基材侧表面形成凹部的情形相比,可在滑动部件的表面形成更微细且精密的凹部。
用该制造方法得到的具有微细且精密的润滑剂保持部的滑动部件与带的直接滑动面积减小,润滑剂到达整个滑动面,因此即使持续使用,也能够抑制摩擦系数的提高。
另外,由于基体树脂为PAI树脂,因此耐热性、耐磨损性及与滑动部件的基材的密合性优异。另外,上述树脂涂膜是在基体树脂中至少含有氟树脂和石墨的树脂涂膜,相对于基体树脂100重量份,该树脂涂膜含有25~70重量份的氟树脂、1~20重量份的石墨,因此树脂涂膜的低摩擦性和耐磨损性优异。
在上述沟槽形成工序中进行加工形成的上述凹部为几何学花纹沟槽或流体动压力沟槽,因此滑动面处的滑动特性优异。

具体实施方式
本发明的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法的作为对象的滑动部件用于电子照相装置中的带辊隙方式的定影装置。该定影装置有:(1)具备作为定影部件的加热辊和与该加热辊接触地配置的加压带的构成、(2)具备作为定影部件的加热带和与该加热带接触地配置的加压辊的构成等。这些定影装置中,带从内面被挤压部件挤压到另一辊而配置。上述滑动部件是介于带与挤压部件之间的部件。另外,定影部件为加热带,也能够应用于将其与加压带组合而成的带-带形式。
基于图2对定影装置的一例具体地说明。图2为上述(1)的构成的定影装置的概要图。定影装置1具备:作为定影部件的加热辊2、和作为与该加热辊接触地配置的带部件的加压带3。在加热辊2的内部内藏有加热手段2a。加压带3为中空转动体(环形带)。通过驱动手段来驱动加热辊2,加压带3跟其从动。在加压带3的内部配置挤压部件4,将加压带3向加热辊2侧挤压。就定影装置1而言,用在加热辊2与加压带3之间所形成的压料部6夹持负载有未定影的调色剂像的用纸7,进行加热·加压,使该调色剂像定影。在定影装置1中,在加压带3与挤压部件4之间设置了滑动部件5。将滑动部件5固定于挤压部件4。予以说明,在加压带3的内周面涂布·供给作为润滑剂的润滑油、润滑脂,在滑动部件5与加压带3之间进行润滑。作为润滑脂,主要使用以氟化油作为基油、以氟树脂粉末作为增稠剂的含氟润滑脂。
将用本发明的制造方法所得到的滑动部件的一例示于图3中。图3为该滑动部件的平面图。就图3(a)的滑动部件5而言,在基材5a的表面形成了树脂涂膜5b。在该树脂涂膜5b的表面形成了网纹花纹沟槽的润滑剂保持部5c。另外,图3(b)的滑动部件5中,在树脂涂膜5b的表面形成了一方向倾斜花纹沟槽的润滑剂保持部5d。通过形成微细的润滑剂保持部,能够抑制被辊挤压时的受压面的减少,能够防止树脂涂膜5b的磨损。
本发明的制造方法是用于制造这样的滑动部件的方法。基于图1对本发明的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法进行说明。图1为该制造方法的流程图。本发明的制造方法在准备了滑动部件的基材后,依次实施了(1)涂膜形成工序和(2)凹部形成工序和(3)涂膜烧成工序。特别地,在以下具有特征:在通常连续地进行的涂膜形成工序与涂膜烧成工序(图中虚线部分)之间夹着凹部形成工序。以下对各工序进行说明。
首先,准备滑动部件的基材。根据应用的定影装置的规格、挤压部件的形状等来确定该基材的形状,例如,能够采用平板状、片状、滑动面为曲面、弧状的形状等。另外,可不制成与挤压部件独立的部件而将挤压部件自身作为该滑动部件的基材,在挤压部件的与带的滑动面形成树脂涂膜。
就基材而言,由于需要可耐受树脂涂膜的烧成时的温度,因此主要采用金属制基材。作为材质,例如通过采用铁、铝、铝合金、铜、铜合金等,能够确保所希望的耐负荷性等。作为铁,可列举出不锈钢(SUS304、SUS316等)、软钢(SPCC、SPCE等)、一般结构用碳钢(SS400等)等。另外,可预先对它们实施锌、镍、铜等的镀敷。作为铝,可列举出A1100、A1050,作为铝合金,可列举出A2017、A5052(也包含防蚀铝处理品),作为铜,可列举出C1100,作为铜合金,可列举出C2700、C2801等。
另外,就金属制的基材的树脂涂膜的形成面而言,为了提高与树脂涂膜的密合性,可通过喷砂、转鼓、机械加工等来粗面化为凹凸形状,或者实施化学表面处理而形成微细凹凸形状。
(1)涂膜形成工序
该工序是将含有基体树脂的树脂涂料涂布后使其干燥而形成树脂涂膜的工序。就树脂涂料而言,通过使作为固体成分的基体树脂和其他配合剂分散或溶解于溶剂类中而得到。
作为基体树脂,只要是密合性优异、同时具有滑动部件的使用时不会热劣化的耐热性的耐热性树脂,就能够使用。具体地,可列举出PAI树脂、聚苯硫醚树脂、聚醚醚酮树脂、聚酰亚胺树脂、聚酰胺树脂、环氧树脂、酚醛树脂等。这些中,从耐热性、耐磨损性及与基材的密合性优异考虑,优选使用PAI树脂。
作为将这些基体树脂等分散的溶剂类,能够例示使用丙酮、甲乙酮等酮类、醋酸甲酯、醋酸乙酯等酯类、甲苯、二甲苯等芳香族烃类、甲基氯仿、三氯乙烯、三氯三氟乙烷等有机卤化化合物类、N-甲基-2-吡咯烷酮(NMP)、甲基异吡咯烷酮(MIP)、二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)、二甲基乙酰胺(DMAC)等非质子系极性溶剂类等。这些溶剂类能够单独使用或作为混合物使用。可根据树脂涂料的涂布方法,调整溶剂的种类、液体粘度。
对将树脂涂料涂布于基材表面的方法并无特别限定,例如能够采用喷涂等方法。可将树脂涂料涂布于基材的至少与带部件进行滑动的滑动面。
就该工序中的干燥而言,进行到能够在接下来的凹部形成工序中形成凹部的程度。在树脂涂料中大量地残存溶剂类的状态下,树脂涂膜具有流动性,即使通过转印等来形成凹部形状,涂料也流动而垮塌。只要干燥到成为以下程度的流动性即可:即使在树脂涂膜中残存一部分溶剂类,在凹部形成时也不使凹槽等垮塌。具体地,为树脂涂膜中的固体成分的比例成为了70重量%以上的状态。其能够通过测定涂装前和涂装后即刻和干燥后的制品重量而容易地进行管理。另外,通过使干燥后的树脂涂膜的膜厚为12~36μm,可将烧成后的树脂涂膜的膜厚形成为所希望的膜厚。予以说明,在烧成后进行精加工的情况下,可将干燥后的树脂涂膜的膜厚形成为20~50μm。
(2)凹部形成工序
是在该树脂涂膜的表面加工形成在涂膜烧成工序后成为润滑剂保持部的凹部的工序。在前面的树脂涂膜形成工序中所得到的树脂涂膜与烧成后的树脂涂膜相比硬度低,是柔软的状态。本工序利用这点在树脂涂膜形成工序后即刻实施。本工序中所形成了的凹部经过下一工序的烧成,成为在最终的滑动部件中的树脂涂膜表面的润滑剂保持部。该凹部与最终的润滑剂保持部的形状大致相同。
对凹部的形状并无特别限定,能够为凹窝凹孔、凹槽等任意的形状。另外,该凹部的深度可以是到达直至基材表面的深度。作为凹槽,例如能够为一方向倾斜花纹沟槽、网纹花纹沟槽等几何学花纹沟槽、或者人字状沟槽、螺旋形沟槽等流体动压力沟槽。这些凹槽优选在与滑动方向正交的方向上形成。
如图3中所示那样,一方向倾斜花纹沟槽(图3(b))、网纹花纹沟槽(图3(a))由对于通纸方向在一方向或二方向(网纹)上倾斜、并且各自以一定的间隔排列的条纹状的沟槽构成。本工序中,这样的沟槽例如能够通过边使滚花板牙一边转动一边压靠树脂涂膜的表面而形成。本工序中,优选形成在涂膜形成后(烧成后)在其表面形成凹部的情形、在树脂涂膜形成前在基材表面形成凹部的情形下不能形成的微细的凹部形状。因此,作为上述的一方向倾斜花纹沟槽、网纹花纹沟槽,优选形成沟槽宽30~500μm(优选30~100μm)、间距0.4~1.5mm(优选0.5~1.0mm)的花纹沟槽。
就人字状沟槽、螺旋形沟槽等流体动压力沟槽形状而言,能够通过将对应于各个形状的转印部件压靠而转印形成。由于与上述的网纹花纹沟槽等同样的理由,为了实现微细化,作为沟槽宽,优选100μm左右。
另外,使凹部为凹窝凹孔的情况下,由于与上述的网纹花纹沟槽等同样的理由,为了实现微细化,优选φ1.5mm以下的凹部在1cm2中设为25个以上。更优选地,φ1.0mm以下的凹部在1cm2中为50个以上。
(3)涂膜烧成工序
该工序是将在前面的凹部形成工序中形成了凹部的树脂涂膜进行烧成而使其固化的工序。就烧成而言,在对应于基体树脂的烧成温度下进行规定时间。经过该烧成工序,将树脂涂膜烧固,得到具有规定形状的润滑剂保持部的牢固的树脂涂膜。
该滑动部件中的树脂涂膜的厚度为10μm~30μm左右。可在不使润滑剂保持部垮塌的范围对烧成工序后的树脂涂膜的表面进行研磨、进行最终精加工。就用该制造方法所得到的具有润滑剂保持部的滑动部件而言,由于该保持部的微细,因此能够减少与带的直接的滑动面积。进而,由于保持部无沟槽垮塌等地精密地形成,因此润滑剂容易到达整个滑动面,在整个滑动面实现低摩擦化,也能够抑制经时的摩擦系数的提高。
在该滑动部件的树脂涂膜中,为了实现摩擦磨损特性等的进一步提高,优选在上述的基体树脂中至少配合氟树脂粉末和石墨粉末作为配合剂。
作为氟树脂,只要能够对树脂涂膜赋予低摩擦性和非粘着性、且具有耐热性,就能够使用。作为氟树脂,例如可列举出PTFE树脂、四氟乙烯-全氟烷基乙烯基醚(PFA)共聚物树脂、四氟乙烯-六氟丙烯(FEP)共聚物树脂、四氟乙烯-乙烯(ETFE)共聚物树脂等。这些中,优选使用PTFE树脂的粉末。
在使用PTFE树脂粉末的情况下,对其平均粒径(利用激光解析法的测定值)并无特别限定,为了维持树脂涂膜的表面平滑性,优选规定为30μm以下。
作为PTFE树脂粉末,能够使用将PTFE树脂在其熔点以上加热烧成料的树脂粉末。另外,也能够使用对加热烧成料的粉末进一步照射了γ射线或电子束等而成的粉末。就这些PTFE树脂粉末而言,与没有进行加热烧成等的PTFE树脂(模塑粉、细粉末)相比,在树脂涂料中的均一分散性优异,所形成的树脂涂膜的耐磨损性优异。
就上述PTFE树脂等的氟树脂而言,在树脂涂膜中,相对于基体树脂100重量份,优选配合25~70重量份。如果氟树脂的配合量不到25重量份,低摩擦性劣化,有可能发生由发热导致的磨损促进。另一方面,如果氟树脂的配合量超过70重量份,虽然低摩擦性优异,但涂膜强度和耐磨损性有可能劣化。
就石墨而言,作为固体润滑剂具有优异的特性是众所周知的。石墨大致分为天然石墨和人造石墨,都能够使用。另外,作为形状,有鳞片状、粒状、球状等,均能使用。
作为石墨,优选使用固定碳97.5%以上的石墨,更优选固定碳98.5%以上的人造石墨。就这样的石墨而言,与润滑油的亲和性高,即使在表面的一部分没有附着润滑油,由于在石墨中微量地被含浸的润滑油,润滑性得到维持。
就上述石墨而言,在树脂涂膜中,相对于基体树脂100重量份,优选配合1~20重量份的。如果石墨的配合量不到1重量份,则无法获得配合了石墨时的充分的效果。另一方面,如果石墨的配合量超过20重量份,则损害树脂涂膜的密合性,可成为剥离的原因。
就树脂涂膜而言,除了上述基体树脂、氟树脂、石墨以外,只要是不使本发明的滑动部件的必要特性显著地降低的范围,可含有其他的添加剂。予以说明,如果相对于基体树脂的氟树脂、石墨等添加剂的总量比15重量份少,则在树脂涂膜中产生不均,得到所需的尺寸精度变得困难。
另外,优选树脂涂膜的拉伸剪切粘接强度为25MPa以上。这种情况下,滑动部件的基材与树脂涂膜的密合强度提高,即使在与带的接触面压升高的情况下也能够稳定地使用。只要使用PAI树脂作为基体树脂、以上述的优选的配合范围含有氟树脂粉末和石墨粉末的树脂涂膜,就能够实现拉伸剪切粘接强度25MPa以上。
[实验例]
将在切削后进行了研磨加工的平板状的SUS304作为基材,进行喷砂,提高了表面粗糙度。在该基材涂布以下的树脂涂料,在90℃下使其干燥了20分钟。此时的树脂涂膜的膜厚为30μm。其后即刻,一边使滚花板牙(ローレット駒)转动一边压靠,用基材露出或不露出的压力形成了网纹花纹沟槽。将其在240℃下烧成1小时,得到了树脂涂膜。烧成后的树脂涂膜的膜厚为25μm。将得到的滑动部件的树脂涂膜的表面的照片示于图4中。该照片中,作为润滑剂保持部的网纹花纹沟槽的间距为0.7mm,沟槽宽为100μm。
树脂涂料的固体成分如以下。就树脂涂料而言,使用将PAI树脂在N-甲基吡咯烷酮中分散而成的PAI树脂清漆,在其中配合PTFE树脂和石墨粉末,进行稀释而制备。相对于PAI树脂100重量份,配合了45重量份的PTFE树脂,相对于PAI树脂100重量份,配合了10重量份的石墨粉末。

如图4中所示那样,采用本发明的制造方法能够在滑动部件的树脂涂膜的表面形成微细、精密的润滑剂保持部。
产业上的可利用性
就本发明的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法而言,在滑动面具有树脂涂膜的定影装置用滑动部件中,能够在该树脂涂膜的表面形成成为润滑剂保持部的微细的凹槽等,因此适合作为带辊隙方式的定影装置中所使用的滑动部件的制造方法。

1.一种定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法,其为在具有通过加热手段而被加热且通过驱动手段而进行转动的定影部件、随着上述定影部件的转动而进行转动的带部件和将该带部件向上述定影部件侧挤压的挤压部件并且在经由上述带部件而在与上述定影部件之间形成压料部的定影装置中、介于上述带部件与上述挤压部件之间的滑动部件的制造方法,其特征在于,
该制造方法具备:在上述滑动部件的基材的至少与上述带部件进行滑动的滑动面涂布含有基体树脂的树脂涂料后使其干燥而形成树脂涂膜的涂膜形成工序、和将该树脂涂膜烧成而使其固化的涂膜烧成工序,在上述涂膜形成工序之后、上述涂膜烧成工序之前,具有在上述树脂涂膜的表面加工形成在上述涂膜烧成工序后成为润滑剂保持部的凹部的凹部形成工序。
2.根据权利要求1所述的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法,其特征在于,上述基体树脂为聚酰胺酰亚胺树脂。
3.根据权利要求1所述的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法,其特征在于,上述树脂涂膜是在上述基体树脂中至少含有氟树脂粉末和石墨粉末的树脂涂膜,相对于上述基体树脂100重量份,该树脂涂膜含有25~70重量份的上述氟树脂、1~20重量份的上述石墨。
4.根据权利要求3所述的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法,其特征在于,上述氟树脂为聚四氟乙烯树脂,上述石墨为固定碳97.5%以上的石墨。
5.根据权利要求1所述的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法,其特征在于,在上述凹部形成工序中进行加工形成的上述凹部为几何学花纹沟槽或流体动压力沟槽。
6.根据权利要求5所述的定影装置用滑动部件的制造方法,其特征在于,在上述凹部形成工序中进行加工形成的上述凹部为上述几何学花纹沟槽,该几何学花纹沟槽为一方向倾斜花纹沟槽或网纹花纹沟槽。
