Abstract

Description

技术领域

背景技术
本领域中已知的是通过热楔物焊接方法,将箔和来自热塑性合成材料及涂覆有热塑性合成材料的织物的密封材料卷材,在重叠边缘处进行彼此接合,特别是将它们密封在一起。因此,通常要对局部塑化要连接的合成材料卷材的加热楔进行直接或间接地加热。此外,把片材或带材与由热塑性材料制成或者由热塑性材料涂覆的材料层接合,也是已知的。再此外,用热楔物粘合方法,而不是焊接方法,来粘合材料层,也为已知的。因此,通常将可热熔(thermally activable)的胶层涂覆到待接合的材料层的其中一层的指定的连接部分上,其中胶层由热楔物熔化。
在本领域中,用于执行热楔物焊接方法的多种焊接机或自动焊接机形式的自动接合装置是已知的。所使用的所有已知的装置和方法的共同之处在于,待焊接的材料在其边缘被抬升,并且彼此相向定向的表面被热的加热楔所塑化,并随后被接触压辊用足够的力按压在一起。在本领域中,用于执行热楔物粘接接合方法的多种粘合装置或自动粘合装置也是已知的。在这些已知的装置和方法中,待连接的中间层也局部涂覆有热熔胶,并通过加热楔加热,直到胶被塑化,然后由接触压力辊用足够的力进行压缩。
这种类型的焊接缝或粘接缝必须是长期密封的和/或具有足够的强度。众所周知,通过热楔物法生产的连接缝的质量高度依赖于所使用的工艺参数。对于安全的接合连接,特别地,速度是相关的,通过其加热楔沿材料层移动,还有加热楔的温度,其加载待连接的材料部分的温度,以及接触压力,其是由接触式压料辊施加在待连接的材料部分上的压力。这些重要的工艺参数在自动接合方法中通常被自动监测和控制。为此目的,提供了用于检测加热楔的温度、焊接速度以及接触压力的装置,其通过集成的装置控制器使显示参数和调整及改变参数更加容易。
关于根据热楔物接合方法连接材料层的现有技术方法和装置,参考专利申请公开文献EP 1 464 471 A1。此外,用于实现热楔物接合方法的不同加热楔也是已知的,例如,在公开文件US 2,870,308A,DD 49 995 A1和DE 10 206 016 695 A1中。
所使用的加热楔具有相对较大的质量,被认为是已知的自动加热楔结合装置及其接合方法的一个缺点,这阻碍了在焊接过程中通过加热楔的温度或功率的必要调整来快速加热和冷却加热楔,而为了确保稳定的焊接质量,这却是需要的,例如,由于焊接期间发生的速度变化。
发明内容
基于这些发现,本发明的目的是提出一种选择,使直接电动加热楔快速响应于由塑料材料和自动接合装置之间相对速度的变化而触发的电功率调节。
根据本发明,该目的通过具有独立权利要求1中特征的方法来实现。该目的还通过具有独立权利要求11的特征的自动接合装置来实现。本发明的其它优选实施方式可以分别自从属专利权利要求得到。
相应地,根据本发明的用于可焊接和/或可粘合的平面柔性材料层彼此间的热致式接缝接合的方法,材料层为卷材、带材和/或片材且设置为至少部分重叠,在接合过程中,至少在预设的时间间隔内监测材料层与自动接合装置之间的相对速度v以及加热楔的温度和/或电功率。其中,当相对速度v的变化被检测到时,加热楔的电功率P会根据检测到的相对速度v进行自动调整。这样,在相对速度v的增加期间,加热楔的电功率增加;在相对速度v的降低期间,加热楔的电功率减小,从而使得加热楔的温度或从加热楔传递到材料层连接部分的热能的量独立于相对速度v保持恒定。该方法可用于可移动的以及固定的自动接合装置,其中,本质上是加热楔传输到材料层接合部分的热能的量保持恒定,而不是加热楔的温度。本文中的相对速度v是可移动的自动接合装置相对于材料层的移动速度或材料层相对于固定的接合装置的移动速度。
在根据本发明方法的一种优选实施方式中,传递到待连接的材料层的热能的量保持恒定,而与相对速度v无关。这尤其意味着,对于任意的相对速度,加热楔传输到材料层连接部分的热能都是相同的。这也就意味着,材料层或材料层的胶层的塑化是持续进行的。为了达到这个目的,选择加热电阻器的电功率P作为材料层和自动接合装置之间的相对速度v的函数,这意味着当相对速度v变化时,它将被分别重新调节,其中,在相对速度v的增加时,加热楔的电功率P增加;在相对速度v的降低时,加热楔的电功率P减小。
优选地,加热楔的加热电阻器的电功率P由电子控制器来控制,因此功率P的实际值PI相对于功率P的标称值PS保持恒定,其中用户可以优选预先确定功率P的至少一个标称值PS。因此,在接合过程中,至少在预定的时间间隔内,相对速度v和加热楔的电功率是自动确定的。在检测到相对速度v时,如果实际值PI与标称值PS存在偏差,电子控制器会立即自动补偿该偏差。
在本发明的一种优选实施方式中,加热电阻器的功率PI通过测量加热楔的电极处的电压下降以及通过测量流经加热元件的加热电阻器的电流来确定。这有助于以简单的方式精确地确定加热电阻器的电流功率P。由此,检测到的实际值PI和预定的标称值PS之间的较小偏差也可以被可靠地确定。
在根据本发明的方法的一种实施方式中,电功率P的标称值PS被电子控制器在内部分隔成可用于焊接或粘合过程的标称值部分PSn和不能用于焊接或粘合过程的标称值部分PSv。功率损耗PSv是楔形物与楔形接合几何结构的函数。
在根据本发明方法的一种优选实施方式中,标称值部分PSn由电子控制器根据加热楔的能量密度的标称值EDSn、加热楔相对于材料层的相对速度以及加热楔的宽度B来内部确定,其中标称值部分PSn是加热楔的能量密度的标称值EDSn、相对速度v以及宽度B的乘积。
保持能量密度恒定有助于使焊接或粘合接合的质量特别均匀。能量密度是传递到材料上的能量的量度,因此也是能量传递后材料温度的量度。对于每种材料,都有其最佳的能量密度,这使得能够实现最佳的接缝质量。通过能量密度EDSn和不可使用的标称值部分PSv,待焊接和/或粘合在一起的材料层的材料性质和加热楔或者胶的特殊属性都得到了考虑。
电子控制器通过测量加热装置的电压下降和流经加热装置的电流来确定接触加热装置的电功率。相对速度v,即接合速度,是通过例如由电动机驱动的至少一个压料辊的驱动单元的速度来确定的,并且加热装置的宽度由用户确定并输入至电子控制器。
此外,已证明为特别有利的是,在根据本发明方法的一种实施方式中,至少加热楔的功率P的标称值PS、加热楔的功率P的不可用标称值部分PSv和/或能量密度的标称值EDSn是由自动接合装置的用户预先确定的。由此,加热楔的功率可以适应于不同材质和/或厚度的待彼此接合的材料层,和/或不同的楔形物以及楔形连接几何结构,尤其是,在焊接和/或粘合过程之前,可以适当地对功率进行调节。
优选地,在上述方法的一个实施方式中,至少在实际接合过程之前的加热电阻器预热期间,通过电子控制器对加热楔的温度进行调节和/或控制。特别地,为了确定加热楔的温度,对加热电阻器的温度依赖性电阻进行测量。因此,优选的是,通过测量电极处的电压下降并通过测量流经加热电阻器的电流来确定加热电阻器的电阻。由此可以根据需要来测量和调整加热电阻器的当前温度。
电子控制器判断直接电动可加热型加热楔的温度依赖性电阻R,并控制温度依赖性电阻R,从而使值R相对于标称值RS保持恒定。这种类型的控制优选地仅用于预热,也就是在实际的焊接或粘合过程之前的几秒钟。确定了的电阻值也可以任选地转换成温度值,这样还要使用预先获取的电阻温度图。
用于可焊接和/或可粘合的平面柔性材料层间的热致式接缝接合的自动接合装置,材料层为卷材,带材和/或片材且由热楔物焊接或热楔物粘合设置成至少部分重叠,包括电子控制器,其配置为实施上述方法。如本领域已知的,电子控制器包括至少一个设置在该接合装置的托架处的电加热装置,该电加热装置包括用于边缘焊接材料层中的至少一层和/或用于熔化设置在至少一个材料层上的胶水的直接电动加热楔,并且还包括至少一个接触式压料辊,该压料辊由电动机驱动且设置在托架处,用于在对预定的接合部分进行局部加热后压缩待连接的材料层。该电子控制器用于调节和/或控制材料层和自动接合装置之间的相对速度v,并且用于调节和/或控制设置在加热楔的两个电极之间的加热电阻器的温度T和/或电功率P。这样,加热电阻器由折叠的钢板坯料形成,该折叠钢板坯料的折扭形成加热楔尖端,而其平行于折扭的伸出的边缘则附接在两个电极处。根据本发明的自动接合装置可以是接合装置相对于材料层移动的自走式自动接合装置,或可以是材料层相对于接合装置移动的固定式自动接合装置。
优选地,钢板坯料包括在电极之间延伸的曲折切割绕组。曲折切割绕组决定了加热电阻器的有效长度和宽度。钢板坯料的曲折切割绕组的几何形状及钢板坯料的制作材料决定了加热电阻器的耐寒性和耐热性。
为了加快电阻器的反应时间,钢板坯料的质量较小。为实现此目的,特别地,钢板坯料的厚度在0.1mm和1.0mm之间,和/或加热电阻器的最大质量不超过50g。
在根据本发明的自动接合装置的一种优选实施方式中,加热电阻器配置为凹形,优选地两侧都设置成凹形,特别是在朝向至少一个接触式压料辊的前端部分中。该部分中的加热电阻器尤其具有与至少一个接触式压料辊相同的曲率半径。这有助于通过接触式压料辊的位于加热电阻器处的外圆周,使经过加热楔的材料层在被接触式压料辊压缩之前与加热楔保持接触,这对材料层的加热有积极影响。
在根据本发明的自动接合装置被配置为自动焊接或粘合装置的一种优选实施方式中,提供有用可调节的力将接触加热装置压靠至少一个接触式压料辊上的装置。因此,待焊接或粘合在一起的材料层的待连接部分被夹紧在加热楔和至少一个接触式压料辊之间,并因此被压靠在加热楔上,这有利于加热材料层。
加热楔在安全的低电压范围(SELV)下操作,并且根据最多30-50V的适用标准直接加载电流。
本发明的用于根据热楔物接合方法将可焊接或可粘合的材料层缝接接合的方法具有以下优点:接合速度在接合过程中可以被改变,这意味着随意增加或减少而不会使形成的焊接或粘接缝的质量变差。取得该优点的原因是:通过改变待连接的材料层和接触加热装置之间的相对速度,也使加热电阻器的电功率通过自动接合装置的控制电子设备自动适应性改变,其中,控制电子设备改变了加热电阻器的电功率,从而使得传递给材料的热能独立于相对速度而保持恒定,也即是独立于焊接或粘合速度而保持恒定。本发明为用户,客户以及制造商都提供了许多有利之处。例如,加热楔由于其质量较小在功率变化时提供了快速反应时间,从而使得有利于快速加热和冷却以及在接合过程中功率或速度的适应性改变。此外,该加热楔便于达到较高的表面温度,并因此特别适合于以较高速度接合涂覆型材料。该加热楔可以通过符合成本效益的方式生产,这样就相应实现了较低的生产成本。此外,不需要温度传感器来检测加热楔温度,在其中温度传感器容易受到磨损和腐蚀。
另外一项优点是,加热功率能够通过调节能量密度来自动地适应于速度,这对接合缝的质量具有积极的影响。
此外,由于采用低安全电压,使得接触加热楔不会产生任何风险。进一步地,当操作电压关闭时,加热楔能够快速冷却,使得在待机操作(stand by operations)期间意外接触加热楔不会导致烫伤。
根据本发明的自动接合装置可以用于塑料材料卷材或箔的边缘接合,用于商业横幅或卡车卷帘的边缘接缝或用于在这种类型的材料层上添加加强贴片。另一个应用是所谓的3-D焊接或3-D粘合,其中合成材料箔和油毡的坯料沿着它们的接缝与材料基底网结合。由此,例如可以像缝纫机一样将充气船或运动夹克接合。另一种应用是在材料层上施加带,这是指通过直接焊接或用例如热活化胶粘接把所谓的胶带与任何基础材料进行连接,例如,为运动服装的缝制接缝的缝密封而涂覆胶带。

具体实施方式
图1示出了根据本发明的自动接合装置1的一种实施方式,该装置配置为可移动的自走式自动焊接装置1',用于图中未示出的热塑性合成材料卷材的重叠边缘的焊接。自动焊接装置1'包括底盘(chassis)2,底盘上设置有用于合成材料卷材的边缘熔融的接触加热装置3,其中底盘2具有托架(carrier frame)4,在托架上设置有多个彼此偏移的运行辊5和两个相对的接触式进料辊6,6'。下接触式进料辊6固定在适当的位置处,而另一个上接触式进料辊6'可枢转地支撑。自动焊接装置1'还包括在附图中仅部分示出的用于接触式进料辊6,6'的驱动装置7。提供运行辊5用于在基座上的支撑,提供进料辊6,6'用于使重叠的合成材料卷材的边缘通过,提供驱动装置7用于驱动接触式进料辊6,6'。
此外,在承载架4处设置有夹持装置8,用于将上接触式进料辊6'压靠在下进料辊6上。下接触式压料辊6设置在与托架4固定连接的下纵向外伸支架9上。与其不同的是,上接触式进料辊6'设置在上纵向外伸支架9'处,该上纵向外伸支架9'可枢转地附接在托架4处并且可朝向下纵向外伸支架9的方向或背离下纵向外伸支架9的方向枢转。夹紧装置8的力加载在上纵向外伸支架9'上并将其按照朝向下纵向外伸支架9的方向按压,直到两个接触式进料辊6和6'彼此接触。
焊接装置1'还包括电子控制器10,其设置在由托架4支撑的壳体11中。电子控制器10用于调节和/或控制塑料材料卷材和自动焊接装置1'之间的相对速度v,以及用于调节和/或控制接触加热装置3的温度T和/或电功率P.
图2示出了根据本发明的自动接合装置1的配置为固定式焊接装置1”的实施方式,用于图中未示出的材料层的热致式接缝接合。该自动焊接装置1”包括支架框架(standframe)2',其上设置有接触加热装置3,用于在连接部分加热、表面熔化和/或完全熔化待彼此接合的两个材料层中的至少一个,接触加热装置优选设置在边缘的近侧。其中,支架框架2'具有托架4,在托架4中,两个输送辊5'和两个支架底座15设置在托架的底部,并且两个彼此相对布置的接触式进料辊6,6'设置在托架4处,其中,接触式压料辊彼此接触,并且一个接触式压料辊被局部固定地支撑,另一个接触式压料辊设置成相对于其可移动。输送辊5'便于将自动焊接装置1”运送到装配位置,并且在焊接设备1'操作期间它们与用于支撑在基座上的支架底座15一起支持托架4。进料辊6,6'用于使重叠材料层的连接部分通过,驱动装置用于驱动接触式进料辊6,6'。该焊接装置1”还包括用于接触式进料辊6,6'的驱动装置7。
另外,在托架4处设置有附图中未示出的夹紧装置8,用于按压上和下接触式进料辊6,6'使其彼此相抵。下接触式进料辊6设置在向上延伸的支腿9上,该支腿9以刚性连接的方式与托架4固定连接。与其不同的是,上接触式进料辊6'设置在向下延伸的上支脚9'上,该上支脚可移动地附接在托架4处。上支腿9'可以朝下支脚9的方向或远离下支脚9的方向枢转和/或移动。夹紧装置8将力加载到上支脚9'上,并将其按照朝向下支脚9的方向按压,直到两个接触式进料辊6和6'彼此接触。
焊接装置1”还包括电子控制器10,其设置在由托架4支撑的壳体11中。电子控制器10用于调节和/或控制塑料材料卷材与焊接装置1'之间的相对速度v,以及用于调节和/或控制接触加热器3的温度T和电功率P.
图3从侧面和正面示出了图1和图2中的接触加热装置3。接触加热装置3包括直接电动的可加热加热楔12,用于加热、表面熔化或完全熔化待焊接或待胶合在一起的两个材料层中的至少一个的表面;以及两个电极13,13',通过该电极加热楔12优选地可移动地附接在托架4处。导线自两个电极13,13'导向电子控制器10,这两个电极在所示实施例中通过绝缘件14螺纹连接在一起。
如图3a所示,加热楔12包括加热电阻器16,其与两个电极13,13'机械和电连接。加热电阻器16由对折的钢板坯料17形成,折起的钢板坯料17的中心扭折位置18形成热的楔形尖端19,其外边缘20,20'连接在电极13,13'处。钢板坯料17的典型厚度为0.1至1.0mm,优选地为最大质量为50g。加热电阻器16在加热楔尖端19近端的前部21形成为凹形。在该部分21中,加热电阻器16具有与两个接触式进料辊6,6'相同的曲率半径。可以通过可调节的力将接触加热装置3压靠在两个接触式进料辊6,6'上,该力由图中未示出的力发生器给予。

Claims (15)

1.一种用于可焊接和/或可粘合的平面柔性材料层间的热致式接缝接合的方法,其中,所述材料层各自为卷材、带材和/或片材,并且其通过自动接合装置(1)设置为至少部分地重叠,
其中,使用设置在自动接合装置(1)的托架(4)处的、具有直接电动可加热的加热楔(12)的至少一个电接触加热装置(3),将待接合的材料层中的至少一个局部加热至接合温度,并使用设置在托架(4)处且由电动机驱动的至少一个接触式压料辊(6,6’),对所述至少一个材料层的已加热材料部分进行局部压缩;
其中,使用电子控制器(10)调节和/或控制所述材料层和自动接合装置(1)之间的相对速度v以及设置在加热楔(12)的两个电极(13,13')之间的加热电阻器(16)的温度T和/或电功率P;
在接合过程中,至少在预设的时间间隔内对所述相对速度(v)以及加热楔(12)的温度(T)和/或电功率(P)进行监测,
当所述相对速度(v)变化时,根据已确定的相对速度(v)对所述加热楔(12)的电功率(P)进行自动调整,其中,
当所述相对速度(v)提高时,将所述加热楔(12)的电功率(P)增加,当相对速度(v)降低时,将所述加热楔(12)的电功率(P)减小。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,从所述加热楔(12)传递到待连接的材料层的热能独立于所述相对速度(v)保持恒定。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,通过所述电子控制器(10)对所述加热电阻器(16)的电功率P进行控制,并且所述电功率P的实际值PI相对于电功率P的标称值PS保持恒定。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,通过测量加热楔(12)的两个电极(13,13')处的电压降和通过测量流经加热楔(12)的加热电阻器(16)的电流来确定所述加热电阻器(16)的电功率PI
5.根据前述权利要求3至4中任意一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述电子控制器(10)将电功率P的标称值PS内部分隔成可用于接合过程的标称值部分PSn和不能用于接合过程的标称值部分PSv
6.根据前述权利要求3至5中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述标称值部分PSn由所述电子控制器(10)根据加热楔(12)的能量密度的标称值EDSn、相对速度v和加热楔(12)的宽度B来内部确定,其中,所述标称值部分PSn为所述能量密度的标称值EDSn、相对速度v和加热楔(12)的宽度B的乘积。
7.根据前述权利要求3至6中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,至少所述加热楔(12)的功率P的标称值PS、和/或加热楔(12)的功率P的不可用标称值部分PSv、和/或所述能量密度的标称值EDSn,是由自动接合装置(1)的用户预先确定的。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,至少在实际接合过程之前的加热电阻器(16)的预热期间,加热楔(12)的温度由电子控制器(10)调节和/或控制。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,对所述电阻器(16)的温度依赖性电阻进行测量,以确定所述加热楔(12)的温度。
10.根据权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于,通过测量电极(13,13')处的电压下降和流经加热电阻器的电流来确定加热电阻器(16)的电阻。
11.一种用于可焊接和/或可粘合的平面柔性材料层间的热致式接缝接合的自动接合装置(1),其中,所述材料层各自为卷材、带材和/或片材,并且其设置为至少部分地重叠,所述自动接合装置(1)包括:
设置在所述自动接合装置(1)的托架(4)处的至少一个电接触加热装置(3),所述电接触加热装置(3)包括直接电动可加热的加热楔(12),用于把至少一个待接合的材料层局部加热至接合温度;
设置在托架(4)处且由电动机驱动的至少一个接触式压料辊(6,6’),用于局部压缩所述材料层中的已加热材料部分;
其中,使用电子控制器(10)调节和/或控制所述材料层和自动接合装置(1)之间的相对速度v以及设置在加热楔(12)的两个电极(13,13')之间的加热电阻器(16)的温度T和/或电功率P;
所述加热电阻器(16)由折叠的钢板坯料形成,所述折叠的钢板坯料的折扭(18)形成加热楔尖端(19),其平行于所述折扭伸出的边缘(20,20')附接在所述两个电极(13,13')处,
其特征在于,用于执行所述方法的所述电子控制器(10)是根据前述权利要求1至10中的任一项进行配置的。
12.根据权利要求11所述的自动接合装置(1),其特征在于,所述钢板坯料(17)包括在所述电极(13,13')之间延伸的曲折切割绕组。
13.根据权利要求11或12所述的自动接合装置(1),其特征在于,所述钢板坯料(17)的厚度为0.1mm~1.0mm,和/或最大质量为50g。
14.根据权利要求11-13中任一项所述的自动接合装置(1),其特征在于,所述加热电阻器(16)至少在前端部分(21)与所述至少一个接触式压料辊(6,6’)具有相等的半径。
15.根据权利要求11-14中任一项所述的自动接合装置(1),其特征在于,所述电接触加热装置(3)以可调节的力压靠在所述至少一个接触式压料辊(6,6’)上。
