本发明提供一种显示装置,该显示装置采用超薄的柔性基板制备,其WOA走线分布于柔性基板的正反两面,正面的WOA走线直接与显示区相连,反面的WOA走线通过贯穿所述柔性基板的过孔延伸至柔性基板的正面与显示区相连,从而大幅提高电路的空间利用率,使得相同面积的基板区域可以承载近乎两倍面积的电路结构,大幅降低边缘非显示区的宽度,实现无边框或超窄边框显示。

本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种显示装置。
背景技术
随着显示技术的发展,液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)与有机发光二极管显示装置(Organic Light Emitting Display,OLED)等平面显示装置因具有高画质、省电、机身薄及应用范围广等优点,而被广泛的应用于手机、电视、个人数字助理、数字相机、笔记本电脑、台式计算机等各种消费性电子产品,成为显示装置中的主流。
请参阅图1,现有的液晶显示器通常包括:显示面板100、电性连接于所述显示面板100上侧的源极驱动芯片200、电性连接于所述显示面板100左右两侧的栅极驱动芯片400,以及与所述源极驱动芯片200以及栅极驱动芯片400均电性连接的驱动电路板300,所述显示面板100包括显示区101、以及包围所述显示区101的非显示区102,所述显示区101内设有多条平行间隔排列的水平的扫描线和多条平行间隔排列的竖直的源极线,所述非显示区102设有多条扇形排列的阵列基板走线(Wire On Array,WOA)500,通过所述WOA走线500将所述多条扫描线连接至所述栅极驱动芯片400,将所述多条源极线连接至源极驱动芯片200;此外,随着显示技术的发展,现有技术中,还可以采用阵列基板行驱动电路(GateDriver on Array,GOA)来取代栅极驱动芯片,此时GOA电路被直接制作在显示面板的非显示区上并直接连接至扫描线,但此时WOA走线500也不可省去,需要用WOA走线500将所述驱动电路板300与GOA电路电性连接到一起。
随着显示器的发展,超窄边框或者无边框渐渐成为一种趋势,不论LCD还是OLED,窄边框或无边框显示都可以带来更好的外观体验,然而,由于显示面板的显示区外围存在无法省去的WOA走线,导致显示面板的显示区到边缘的距离增大,使得无边框或者超窄边框的实现变得困难。尤其,当显示面板的分辨率从高清上升到超高清或者更高时,需要更多的区域用来放置WOA走线,导致边框区域缩窄更加困难。在现有的技术条件下,显示面板中的导线宽度受制于制作设备的精度,掩膜板精度以及对电导率的要求,通过大幅降低WOA走线的宽度来缩减边缘非显示区的设计方案目前还很难做到,因此需要一种新的方法来减少显示面板非显示区的宽度。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种显示装置,能够减少WOA走线所需要的布线面积,降低非显示区的面积,实现超窄边框或无边框显示。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供了一种显示装置,包括:柔性基板,所述柔性基板包括显示区、以及包围所述显示区的非显示区;
所述柔性基板的非显示区内设有多条与所述显示区电性连接的WOA走线,通过所述WOA走线向所述显示区提供驱动信号;
所述WOA走线设于所述柔性基板的正反两面,其中,设于所述柔性基板反面的WOA走线一端穿过设于所述柔性基板的第一过孔延伸至所述柔性基板的正面接入驱动信号,另一端穿过设于所述柔性基板的第二过孔延伸至所述柔性基板的正面电性连接至显示区。
所述柔性基板的材料为聚酰亚胺、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、环烯烃共聚物、或者聚醚砜树脂。
所述柔性基板的厚度为10至300微米。
还包括驱动电路板、以及与所述驱动电路板电性连接的源极驱动芯片和栅极驱动芯片;
所述WOA走线分别与所述源极驱动芯片及栅极驱动芯片电性连接。
所述显示区内设有多条平行间隔排列的竖直的源极线、以及多条平行间隔排列的水平的扫描线;
每一条WOA走线均对应电性连接一条源极线或一条扫描线。
还包括驱动电路板、以及与所述驱动电路板电性连接的源极驱动芯片,所述WOA走线与所述源极驱动芯片以及驱动电路板均电性连接;
所述非显示区内还设有GOA电路,所述WOA走线经由所述GOA电路电性连接至显示区。
所述显示区内设有多条平行间隔排列的竖直的源极线、以及多条平行间隔排列的水平的扫描线;
每一条WOA走线均对应电性连接一条源极线或经由GOA电路电性连接一条扫描线。
所述多条WOA走线位于同一膜层,所述WOA走线的材料为铜。
所述多条WOA走线位于由绝缘层分隔开的不同膜层,所述WOA走线的材料为石墨烯。
所述设于所述柔性基板反面的WOA走线上还覆盖有保护层。

具体实施方式
为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图2或图3,本发明提供一种显示装置,包括:柔性基板1,所述柔性基板1包括显示区11、以及包围所述显示区11的非显示区12;
所述柔性基板1的非显示区12内设有多条与所述显示区11电性连接的WOA走线13,通过所述WOA走线13向所述显示区11提供驱动信号;
请参阅图4,所述WOA走线13设于所述柔性基板1的正反两面,其中,设于柔性基板1正面的WOA走线13采用现有技术的走线方式,直接电性连接显示区11为显示区11提供驱动信号,而设于所述柔性基板1反面的WOA走线13一端穿过设于所述柔性基板1的第一过孔14延伸至所述柔性基板1的正面接入驱动信号,另一端穿过设于所述柔性基板1的第二过孔15延伸至所述柔性基板1的正面电性连接至显示区11。
具体地,区别于现有技术采用的厚度在0.3至0.7mm间的玻璃基板,本发明采用的柔性基板1为聚酰亚胺(PI)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、环烯烃共聚物(COC)、或聚醚砜树脂(PES)等材质的较薄的基板,厚度范围在10—300um之间,利用激光打孔等方式在所述柔性基板上开设第一过孔14与第二过孔15,接着在第一过孔14、及第二过孔15内形成导线,完成柔性基板1反面的WOA走线13的电路布局,由于柔性基板1的厚度较薄,从而使得形成在第一过孔14、及第二过孔15内的导线的制程效果较好。
需要说明的是,所述多条WOA走线13可以位于同一膜层,也可以位于由绝缘层分隔开的不同膜层,当所述多条WOA走线13位于同一膜层时,本发明优选采用铜(Cu)等导电率优良的材料来制作WOA走线13,而当多条WOA走线13位于由绝缘层分隔开的不同膜层时,本发明既可以选择铜(Cu)等导电率优良的材料来制作WOA走线13,也可以选用石墨烯/常见金属等电阻率较低的材料来制作WOA走线13,由于位于不同膜层的WOA走线13之间还形成有绝缘层,此时,第一过孔14与第二过孔15的台阶(Taper)角不能太大,以保证多层膜层的成膜质量,防止成膜不良。
值得一提的是,为了对柔性基板1反面的WOA走线13进行保护,此时,在柔性基板1反面的WOA走线13上还覆盖有一层保护层(未图示),该保护层的材料可以为氧化硅(SiOx)等具有保护作用的材料。
进一步地,请参阅图5及图6,如图5所示,现有技术中所有的WOA走线500均位于基板的同一面,其占用的布线面积较大,需要的非显示区宽度较大,而如图6所示,本发明通过将多条WOA走线13中的一部分设于的柔性基板1的正面,而另一部分设于的柔性基板1的反面,再通过在柔性基板1上打孔,将柔性基板1反面的WOA走线13延伸至柔性基板1的正面,从而提高WOA走线13的电路的空间利用率,使得相同面积的柔性基板1区域可以承载近乎两倍面积的电路结构,大幅降低边缘非显示区12的宽度,使无边框或超窄边框设计变为可能。
请参阅图2,本发明的显示装置还包括驱动电路板2、以及与所述驱动电路板2电性连接的源极驱动芯片3和栅极驱动芯片4,所述WOA走线13分别与所述源极驱动芯片3及栅极驱动芯片4电性连接,所述显示区11内设有多条平行间隔排列的竖直的源极线、以及多条平行间隔排列的水平的扫描线,每一条WOA走线13均对应电性连接一条源极线或一条扫描线,通过所述WOA走线13将所述源极驱动芯片3提供的数据信号(Data)输入源极线,将栅极驱动芯片4提供的扫描信号(Gate)提供给扫描线,从而实现画面显示,而所述源极驱动芯片3和栅极驱动芯片4均根据所述驱动电路板2提供的低压差分信号(Low-Voltage DifferentialSignaling,LVDS)分别产生相应的数据信号和扫描信号。
请参阅图3,本发明的显示装置还可以采用GOA技术,此时所述显示装置还包括驱动电路板2、以及与所述驱动电路板2电性连接的源极驱动芯片3,所述WOA走线13与所述源极驱动芯片3以及驱动电路板2均电性连接;所述非显示区12内还设有GOA电路4’,所述WOA走线13经由所述GOA电路4’电性连接至显示区11,所述显示区11内设有多条平行间隔排列的竖直的源极线、以及多条平行间隔排列的水平的扫描线;每一条WOA走线13均对应电性连接一条源极线或经由GOA电路4’电性连接一条扫描线,通过所述WOA走线13将所述源极驱动芯片3提供的数据信号输入源极线,将驱动电路板4提供的LVDS信号提供给GOA电路4’,再通过GOA电路4’产生相应的扫描信号给各个扫描线,所述GOA电路4’包括与所述多个扫描线一一对应相连的多个GOA单元。
综上所述,本发明提供一种显示装置,该显示装置采用超薄的柔性基板制备,其WOA走线分布于柔性基板的正反两面,正面的WOA走线直接与显示区相连,反面的WOA走线通过贯穿所述柔性基板的过孔延伸至柔性基板的正面与显示区相连,从而大幅提高电路的空间利用率,使得相同面积的基板区域可以承载近乎两倍面积的电路结构,大幅降低边缘非显示区的宽度,实现无边框或超窄边框显示。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明权利要求的保护范围。

Claims (10)

1.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括:柔性基板(1),所述柔性基板(1)包括显示区(11)、以及包围所述显示区(11)的非显示区(12);
所述柔性基板(1)的非显示区(12)内设有多条与所述显示区(11)电性连接的WOA走线(13),通过所述WOA走线(13)向所述显示区(11)提供驱动信号;
所述WOA走线(13)设于所述柔性基板(1)的正反两面,其中,设于所述柔性基板(1)反面的WOA走线(13)一端穿过设于所述柔性基板(1)的第一过孔(14)延伸至所述柔性基板(1)的正面接入驱动信号,另一端穿过设于所述柔性基板(1)的第二过孔(15)延伸至所述柔性基板(1)的正面电性连接至显示区(11)。
2.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述柔性基板(1)的材料为聚酰亚胺、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、环烯烃共聚物、或者聚醚砜树脂。
3.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述柔性基板(1)的厚度为10至300微米。
4.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,还包括驱动电路板(2)、以及与所述驱动电路板(2)电性连接的源极驱动芯片(3)和栅极驱动芯片(4);
所述WOA走线(13)分别与所述源极驱动芯片(3)及栅极驱动芯片(4)电性连接。
5.如权利要求4所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示区(11)内设有多条平行间隔排列的竖直的源极线、以及多条平行间隔排列的水平的扫描线;
每一条WOA走线(13)均对应电性连接一条源极线或一条扫描线。
6.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,还包括驱动电路板(2)、以及与所述驱动电路板(2)电性连接的源极驱动芯片(3),所述WOA走线(13)与所述源极驱动芯片(3)以及驱动电路板(2)均电性连接;
所述非显示区(12)内还设有GOA电路(4’),所述WOA走线(13)经由所述GOA电路(4’)电性连接至显示区(11)。
7.如权利要求6所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示区(11)内设有多条平行间隔排列的竖直的源极线、以及多条平行间隔排列的水平的扫描线;
每一条WOA走线(13)均对应电性连接一条源极线或经由GOA电路(4’)电性连接一条扫描线。
8.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述多条WOA走线(13)位于同一膜层,所述WOA走线(13)的材料为铜。
9.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述多条WOA走线(13)位于由绝缘层分隔开的不同膜层,所述WOA走线(13)的材料为石墨烯。
10.如权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述设于所述柔性基板(1)反面的WOA走线(13)上还覆盖有保护层。
