邻碘苯甲酸甲酯是一种重要的化工产品。工艺流程简述：在反应釜中投入定量的邻氨基苯甲酸甲酯、亚硝酸钠、98.3%硫酸进行重氮化反应，反应完全后经分离工段产生废液，分离结束后投入定量碘化钾水溶液进行取代反应，取代反应工段产生废气，取代反应完全后进行离心分离，将不溶于水的产品和母上清液分开，上清液作为废水产出，分离完全后用10%的亚硫酸钠对产品进行洗涤，洗涤工段产生废水；洗涤干净后进行精馏，馏出成分作为产品产出，蒸馏残渣作为废液产出。
