背景技术

翼板或挡板桅42附接到前部鼓轮38的前部且第二翼板或挡板桅44附接到后部鼓轮40的前部。在每一翼板或挡板的后部处,主帆帆脚索张力器连接到其相应鼓轮且在其可达距离或长度方面为可调整的以更改翼板或挡板46及48中的每一者的张力。

踏板曲柄14及16连接到承载于轴70上的链条导板68。链条导板68可在轴70上来回旋转。轴70由驱动支撑部件或脊72支撑。应理解,支撑部件72可为单件式或另一选择为由服务相同目的的数个个别组件构成。
驱动支撑部件或脊72承载纵向轴件74,纵向轴件74承载链轮76。纵向轴件还承载可旋转鼓轮38及40、桅42及44以及相应挡板46及48。连接到链条导板68的链条78越过链轮76来驱动翼板或挡板46及48。
在图18到22的实施例中,踏板10及12的前端在枢转点80处固定到或接近驱动支撑部件或脊72的前端。
图20及21不同在于在图20中,轴70的端部由安装元件82覆盖,安装元件82用于将推进构件紧固到船舶的底部中的开口。用于此应用的安装元件的结构为所述领域中众所周知的且不形成本发明的部分。
在皮划艇或其它小艇的情形中,座位位于船体的上部界限的实质上上方。

Claims (13)
