背景技术
对于窗户和门,由木材、金属或塑料制成的型材部件已变得众所周知并且所述型材部件中的每一者具有它们的特定优点和缺点。此外,由塑料制成但是内部通过由金属制成的芯体型材进行加固的空心型材部件已变得众所周知。同样地,在表面上具有合成树脂粉末涂料的金属型材已变得众所周知。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种空心型材部件,所述空心型材部件主要由塑料制成,可以以低成本制造且具有优质表面以及高机械刚度。
根据本发明,此目的通过至少在空心型材部件的外表面的一部分上包覆金属片的特征来实现。
金属片包覆层改进型材表面的光学外观,其中金属片的表面自身可以被涂饰,例如,涂漆或阳极化处理。此外,金属片包覆层使型材的表面较不容易受天气条件和紫外辐射的损坏。另外,金属片包覆层准许型材的额外加固。
相对低成本的塑料材料(尤其是再循环塑料)可以用于芯体型材而不会总体上损害型材的外观是本发明的特定优势。
应理解的是,如本文所使用的术语“塑料”应涵盖包括作为主要成分的合成树脂在内的所有种类的材料,包含含有诸如嵌入树脂基质中的木质颗粒或纤维等添加剂的复合塑料。
在从属权利要求中指出了本发明的有用细节。
所述金属片可以优选地为铝或铝合金的片材。金属片的厚度可以例如在0.1mm与1mm之间并且可以优选地约为0.25mm或为0.25mm的量值。
包覆层增大了型材的抗弯刚度,特别是当塑料型材的两个非平行表面区域包覆有连续的金属片时。
优选地,塑料型材具有由再循环塑料制成的芯体和由诸如聚乙烯等更高级塑料制成的外塑料层。此塑料的复合材料可以例如通过共挤出法制造。
为了包覆型材,可以使用以与用诸如纸或塑料膜等其它装饰性材料包覆型材类似的形式进行使用的类型的包覆设备,但具有以下差异:从金属片的较大恢复力的观点考虑,用于将装饰性材料滚动到型材上的滚轮必须能够施加较高的挤压力。
在用金属片包覆塑料型材之前,可能需要通过合适的方式预处理塑料型材,例如,通过等离子或电晕处理或通过涂底漆。随后可以例如借助于诸如PUR热熔粘着剂等热熔粘着剂施加金属片。此外,在施加粘着剂之前预热金属片可能是非常有用的。结合过程应在具有足够高的湿度的大气中执行。因此,必要时通过将水蒸气吹入包覆区域中来适当地控制和调节空气湿度可能是非常有用的。

具体实施方式
图1示出空心型材部件10,例如,窗用型材,其具有由再循环塑料制成的芯体12以及由诸如聚乙烯等更高级塑料制成的外层14。在示出的实例中,芯体12具有四个空心腔室16,所述空心腔室因再循环塑料的特性而具有相对不规律的形状。外层14在共挤出过程中与芯体12一起形成并且为空心型材部件10提供光滑且均一的外表面。
在示出的实例中,在窗户装上玻璃且窗户被安装好之后将可见的窗用型材的那些区域具有额外的包覆层,这些包覆层由具有0.25mm厚度的金属片18(铝)制成。在示出的实例中,设置有两个包覆区域,在安装好窗户之后,两个包覆区域中的一者将位于建筑物内部,而两个包覆区域中的另一者将位于建筑物外部。
两个包覆区域中的每一者除了具有平坦的表面区域20之外,还均具有至少一个弯曲表面区域22,使得包覆层在塑料型材的至少两个非平行表面区域上延伸。因此,由于铝片中的每一者本身将具有弯曲或成角度的型材形状,因此能够实现特定的刚度效果。
现将参考图2说明制造根据本发明的空心型材部件10的方法。借助于挤出机24,在共挤出过程中形成由芯体12和外层14组成的复合型材10'。在示出的实例中,复合型材10'作为连续不断的带状物穿过冷却区26。当复合型材10'的塑料材料已完全固化时,外层14的表面(例如)在等离子预处理区段28中进行预处理。同时,金属片18作为连续不断的薄片从卷绕部30中抽出,在预加热站32中进行加热并且随后在粘着剂施加站34中施加热熔粘着剂,例如,PUR粘着剂。随后,在复合型材10'被支撑在传送滚轮38上的包覆区域36中,施加有粘着剂的金属片18通过具有不同形状和不同定向的多个压力滚轮40连续地滚动到型材的表面上,由此金属片变形使得其匹配型材表面的曲率以便最终形成包覆层。图2仅示出在顶侧上的包覆层。可以类似地施加已在图1示出的在底侧上的包覆层。
在上述制造方法的修改实施例中,还可以这样:复合型材10'在挤出之后首先被分成具有合适长度的杆,在稍后步骤中所述杆将被临时地存储且随后将包覆有金属片18。
取决于正使用的粘着剂的类型,可以优选地将底漆涂到预处理区段28下游的复合型材10'的表面上,或将涂底漆作为等离子预处理的替代。在PUR热熔粘着剂的情况下,包覆区域36中的空气应具有足够的湿度,因为空气湿度有助于粘着剂的固化。如果自然空气湿度不够,那么可以使用鼓风机40来额外吹入水蒸气。
Claims (10)
1.一种特别地用于窗户或门的由塑料制成的空心型材部件,其特征在于,所述空心型材部件(10)的外表面(20、22)的至少一部分包覆有金属片(18)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的空心型材部件,其中,所述空心型材部件(10)的至少两个非平行表面区域(20、22)包覆有连续的金属片(18)。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的空心型材部件,其中,所述金属片(18)是由铝或铝合金制成的片材。
4.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的空心型材部件,其中,所述空心型材部件的所述塑料材料或所述塑料材料的至少主要部分是再循环塑料。
5.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的空心型材部件,包括:芯体(12),所述芯体由第一塑料材料制成;以及外层(14),所述外层形成所述型材的外表面并且由更高级的第二塑料材料制成。
6.根据权利要求5所述的空心型材部件,其中,所述芯体(12)和所述外层(14)由共挤出的复合型材(10')形成。
7.一种制造根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的空心型材部件的方法,其中,塑料材料的型材(10')在连续过程中包覆有从卷绕部(30)中抽出作为连续不断的薄片的金属片(18)。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中,所述金属片(18)借助于热熔粘着剂结合到所述塑料型材(10')。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中,所述金属片(18)在包覆之前进行预热。
10.根据权利要求7至9中的任一项所述的方法,其中,包覆区域(36)中大气的含湿量受到控制。
