背景技术
齿轮油的两个重要性能特性为其极压性能和其空气释放特性。高度需要组合极低空气释放值与高极压值的调配齿轮液。
行业中的一个趋势为由OEM设计具有较小储液槽的齿轮箱并且因此每个齿轮箱需要较少润滑剂量。在齿轮操作期间,随着温度增加,这对齿轮润滑剂施加额外压力,因为可用于散热的流体较少。另外,齿轮润滑剂可能夹带空气并且重要的是将此空气快速释放。润滑剂通常夹带10体积%的空气。夹带的空气可能造成摩擦控制较差、氧化提高、噪音、振动和空蚀。为此,需要空气释放值较低的流体。此外,重要的是齿轮润滑剂具有极好的极压特性以防止在齿轮齿啮合时在高接触压力下熔接。

在替代实施例中,本发明提供一种润滑剂组合物,其进一步包含至少0.05重量%的至少一种极压添加剂。至少0.05重量%抗磨添加剂的所有个别值和子范围包括在本文中并且为本文所披露;举例来说,润滑剂组合物中的抗磨添加剂的量可以0.05、0.15、0.25、0.5、0.8或1重量%为下限
示例性极压添加剂包括无灰二硫代磷酸酯、硫代磷酸三芳基酯、二苯基亚磷酸烷基酯、磷酸胺、二硫代磷酸酯和硫代磷酸三芳基酯。黄色金属钝化剂的实例包括甲苯基三唑、苯并三唑和N-烷基化甲苯三唑。抗氧化剂的实例包括辛基化二苯胺、烷基化苯基α萘胺、辛基化/丁基化二苯胺和酚类抗氧化剂。
润滑剂组合物的一些实施例可以进一步包含一或多个由以下组成的群组选出的添加剂:抗磨添加剂、黄色金属钝化剂和抗氧化剂。示例性抗磨添加剂包括二烷基二硫代磷酸锌、磷酸胺、二硫代氨基甲酸酯、烷基磷酸酯、无灰二硫代氨基甲酸酯、其组合和其掺合物。
黄色金属钝化剂的实例包括甲苯基三唑、苯并三唑和N-烷基化甲苯基三唑。抗氧化剂的实例包括辛基化二苯胺、烷基化苯基α萘胺、辛基化/丁基化二苯胺和酚类抗氧化剂。
在替代实施例中。本发明提供一种润滑剂组合物,其根据前述实施例中的任一实施例的,但是润滑剂组合物进一步包含0.25到2重量%的一或多种极压添加剂。0.25到2重量%的所有值和子范围包括在本文中并且为本文所披露;举例来说,极压添加剂的量可以在0.25、0.5、0.75、1、1.25、1.5或1.75重量%的下限到0.5、0.75、1、1.25、1.5、1.75或2重量%的上限范围内变化。举例来说,一或多种极压添加剂的量可以是0.25到2重量%,或在替代方案中,一或多种极压添加剂的量可以是0.25到1重量%,或在替代方案中,一或多种极压添加剂的量可以是1到2重量%,或在替代方案中,一或多种极压添加剂的量可以是0.75到1.75重量%,或在替代方案中,一或多种极压添加剂的量可以是0.5到1重量%。
根据本文揭示的实施例中的任一实施例的润滑剂组合物可用作齿轮油、液压油、压缩机油和/或机油或可用于其中。
在替代实施例中,本发明提供一种润滑剂组合物,其基本上由75到95重量%聚α-烯烃基础油;和7.5到25重量%油溶性聚亚烷基二醇(OSP)添加剂组成,其中提供的聚亚烷基二醇在40℃下具有15cSt到50cSt的粘度并且包含衍生自环氧丙烷的单元和衍生自环氧丁烷的单元;其中润滑剂组合物展现至少160kg的四球EP熔接负荷结果和在75℃下小于3分钟的空气释放值。
在另一替代实施例中,本发明提供一种润滑剂组合物,其包含75到95重量%聚α-烯烃基础油;和7.5到25重量%油溶性聚亚烷基二醇(OSP)添加剂,其中提供的聚亚烷基二醇在40℃下具有15cSt到50cSt的粘度并且主要由衍生自环氧丙烷的单元和衍生自环氧丁烷的单元组成;其中润滑剂组合物展现至少160kg的四球EP熔接负荷结果和在75℃下小于3分钟的空气释放值。
在另一替代实施例中,本发明提供一种润滑剂组合物,其基本上由75到95重量%聚α-烯烃基础油;和7.5到25重量%油溶性聚亚烷基二醇(OSP)添加剂组成,其中提供的聚亚烷基二醇在40℃下具有15cSt到50cSt的粘度并且基本上由衍生自环氧丙烷的单元和衍生自环氧丁烷的单元组成;其中润滑剂组合物展现至少160kg的四球EP熔接负荷结果和在75℃下小于3分钟的空气释放值。

以下实例说明本发明,但并不打算限制本发明的范围。表1提供用于本发明和比较实例中的聚α-烯烃基础油、OSP添加剂、抗磨添加剂、抗氧化剂、极压添加剂和黄色金属钝化剂、其组成、特性和商业供应商的列表。

测试方法
测试方法包括以下各项:
40℃和100℃下的动态黏度是根据ASTM D445测量的。
粘度指数是根据ASTM 2270测量的。
密度是根据ASTM D7042测量的。
空气释放是根据ASTM D3427测量的。对于通常为低粘度流体并且在40℃下在22到150cSt范围内的液压流体,在50℃下进行空气释放测量。对于较高粘度流体,在如75℃的较高温度下进行测量。
极压熔接负荷是根据ASTM D2793在1760+/-40rpm、18至36℃的温度下测量的。

Claims (11)
1.一种润滑剂组合物,其包含
75到95重量%聚α-烯烃基础油;和
7.5到25重量%油溶性聚亚烷基二醇(OSP)添加剂,其中所述聚亚烷基二醇在40℃下具有15 cSt到50 cSt的粘度并且包含衍生自环氧丙烷的单元和衍生自环氧丁烷的单元;
其中所述润滑剂组合物展现至少160 kg的四球EP熔接负荷结果和在75℃下小于3分钟的空气释放值。
2.根据权利要求1所述的润滑剂组合物,其中所述OSP添加剂具有400到1100g/mol的分子量。
3.根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物,其中所述OSP添加剂包含30到70重量%衍生自环氧丙烷的单元和70到30重量%衍生自环氧丁烷的单元。
4.根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物,其中所述OSP添加剂包含40到60重量%衍生自环氧丙烷的单元和60到40重量%衍生自环氧丁烷的单元。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物,其中所述OSP添加剂包含50重量%衍生自环氧丙烷的单元和50重量%衍生自环氧丁烷的单元。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物,其中所述OSP添加剂具有18到46 cSt的粘度。
7.根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物,其中所述OSP添加剂具有32 cSt的粘度。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物,其进一步包含一或多种由以下组成的群组选出的添加剂:抗磨添加剂、黄色金属钝化剂和抗氧化剂。
9.根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物,其进一步包含0.25到2重量%的一或多种极压添加剂。
10.根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物,其进一步包含0.5到1重量%的一或多种极压添加剂。
11.一种齿轮润滑剂,其包含根据前述权利要求中任一权利要求所述的润滑剂组合物。
