Abstract

Description

本发明涉及一种成型护套电阻线,它可以各种方式装接到相邻的同一种电阻线上。这种电阻线特别可用于构成电阻焊接塑料管的加热插入件,例如用于焊接那种一般用高密度聚乙烯制成的气体分配管之类的管子。
电阻焊接技术是采用埋置于连接用零件内的加热线构成电阻,将零件的接触表面加热到其材料可以熔融到一起的温度。
用于形成这种连接用零件(或连接件)的通用技术是采用模注法进行包容模注(overmalding)。将加热线绕成一个线卷,对线卷进行包容模注而形成一连接用零件。因此,该加热线相当靠近该元件的内侧表面。为了获得较好的焊接质量,必须使加热线尽可能靠近内侧接触表面。
因此,采用包容模注法制造这种套管是制造电阻焊接连接件的主要步骤。
通常,是将加热线直接绕在一相当薄的套管上,然后,通过将该线加热来固定(例如GLYNWED    TUBES    AND    FITTINGS的欧洲专利0303909),或将其嵌入预设在套管上的螺旋槽内(例如WAVIN的欧洲专利0262735)。
也曾提出用护套(电阻)线来制成预制插入件(或预成形件)。
欧洲专利0036963(GEORG    FISHER    AKTIENG    ESELLSCHAFT)的电阻焊接连接件就是这种情况,其中将圆柱形涂复过的线绕成一螺旋线,在制造线圈的过程中,每一圈上的涂层都与相邻一圈的涂层牢固地焊接到一起,从而形成一紧密的衬管。
法国专利2503020(SERAP)中也叙述了一个这种类型的插入件,其中,将护套线连续地绕在一可扩张的心轴上,再将护套线加热到足以使护套软化的程度并用一锥形的芯子使心轴扩张,这样,使心轴的外表面与电阻线的母线切实相接触。用这种方法使各圈焊在一起从而制成用于插入电阻焊接连接件的套管。
法国专利2040143(GERBERT    et    Cie)中提出了另一种方法,它是将一塑料带作为加热导体,将加热线各圈分离地绕在该塑料带上。然后将该塑料带放置在将要接合的两根管子之间。
加热用插入件还可用来制成分支连接的连接零件,这种分支连接的作法是通过在现场在管子上制成一个孔来设置分支连接。
这种连接零件通常是以两部分包容管子。在对管子进行加热焊接后,在预定制出孔的部位采用电热元件制出一个孔。
与连接套管的情形相类似的是设法制作一种预制加热用插入件。
例如,在法国专利2171223(ROLLMAPLAST    AG)所叙述的现有技术中是将螺旋线形或其他形状的护套电阻线包容模注成整块的鞍形零件。
法国专利2519578(INNOVATION    TECHNIQUESAM)叙述了一种预制插入件,这种插入件是由一种相当薄的模制板构成的,板上有供放置螺旋线形加热线的沟槽;这种插入件最好在模制鞍形件的过程中埋注入鞍形件的内表面。
预制这些加热用插入件后,便可大规模、系列化生产具有高质量的连接用零件,而且还可使模制或包容模制过程大为方便。
总之,预制工作主要是这样进行的:首先(在制作连接用零件本身之前)将加热线连接于具有适当形状的塑料基体或在一合适的支撑表面上通过加热使加热线的护套直接与相邻的加热线的护套焊接到一起。
用这些方法可以生产出适用于每一种特定用途的插入件,包括供常规圆柱形接头用的套管及孔间接头用的圆盘或板,而且还适用于各种直径的被接合的管件。
本发明的目的是将预制的优点与可用于多种用途的多功能线的优点结合起来。
为了实现这个目的,本发明提供一种护套线,其护套上设有机械固定部分,例如借助共轭形状,以便于使一个线状元件与另一个互相连接,这样,可构成一种形状适于预定用途的插入件。
这种护套线就象常用的圆柱形护套线一样可制成较长的长度,并可以是任意形状或尺寸。
其固定结构极其简单,因而这种类型的插入件的制造成本相当低,因为无需特殊的和复杂的模注、加热或装配设备。
根据本发明,这种线状元件至少由一根包复有热塑性塑料的电阻丝构成,而且其特征在于,其包复层上带有机械固定部分,这种机械固定部分之一部分可与相邻的同型线状元件的另一固定部分相配合,以便将相邻的线状元件装配在一起。
这种机械固定部分最好是位于线状元件的相对两侧的共轭成形部分,并且可互相卡入而固定在一起。其固定方式特别简单,而且这种线状元件可采用挤压成型而无需复杂设备。
在一个实施例中,这种共轭形固定部分可以是成型的两部分,在线状元件的一侧为阳部而在另一侧为阴部,例如燕尾形的结构。
在另一实施例中,这种固定部分的每一部分包括一阳部和一阴部,它们可通过垂直插入而互相卡接。在该实施例中,它们具有一梯形横截面的凹槽,在这些凹槽的至少一个内表面上有一些起夹持作用的条状凸齿。
这两个实施例仅是以举例方式给出的,因此,这些成型的固定部分可以制成其他便于卡接和卡扣的多种形状。这些不同形状的部分应适应于要获得的插入件形状。根据插入件的形状,采用侧向插入、垂向插入或把两者结合起来的卡接方式是比较有利的。
为了能制造需要弯曲线状元件的插入件,例如绕成一螺旋线形以形成一圆盘,可以在线状元件的侧面设置缺口。为了获得尖锐的弯折,可以考虑设置更大斜角的缺口。
因此,线状元件的横截面一般呈矩形,而电阻线则尽可能靠近其一个表面,且最好与一个表面齐平。如上文所解释的那样,齐平的加热线可以使接触表面的焊接质量达到最佳。
这种线状元件最好还包括至少一根第二根加热线,而且该加热线与两个接合的线状元件的接触表面之一相切。这样,通过电阻焊接可以使由至少一根线状元件制成的元件的刚性得到增强。
这种线状元件特别适用于制造电阻焊接插入件。
对那些用作连接两个热塑性塑料管件的套管的插入件而言,最好将它装配成一螺旋线圈的形状。
对那些用于在热塑性塑料管状零件上制成一孔而进行分支连接的插入件而言,最好将它装配成一螺旋线形状以形成一圆盘。
本发明的线状元件的另一个最佳用途是电阻焊接管子,其作法是将所述的线状元件绕在管子上并对加热线施加电压来修理或连接管子。这种应用的主要优点是采用单一产品和常用的电气装置就能简便、迅速地进行焊接。
下文将借助仅表示一个实施例的附图对本发明作更详细的说明。
图1和2表示了本发明的线状元件的两种具体形式的立体图。
图3表示了线状元件的一最佳实施例的横剖视图。
图1和2表示了两种由带有塑料护套2,例如聚乙烯护套的电阻线1构成的横截面基本上呈矩形的线状元件。从它们的横截面可见,电阻线1的一母线与该元件的一个表面齐平,该表面下文将称作下表面。
该线状元件的侧向表面上有用于机械固定的部分3a、3b。在所示的实例中,这些机械固定部分是一些成型的部分,它们适于通过它们的共轭形状,采用卡入或卡扣等方式与相邻线状元件的对应部分相配合。

每一卡入部分3a或3b有一阴部6a或6b和一阳部7a或7b。
每个阴部6a、6b呈开口向上或向下的凹槽状。卡入部分3a的阴部6a的横截面形状与另一卡入部分3b的阳部7b的相似,且卡入部分3a的阳部7a的横截面形状与卡入部分3b的阴部6b的相似。因此,该线状元件的横截面基本上呈S形,如图3转90°所示。
加热线1与护套的一表面相切,该表面将与一个或多个将与护套接合的管状元件的表面相接触。该加热线最好位于阴部6a或6b之一的下方。
该线状元件还可以包括至少一根第二条加热线8,该加热线8与线状元件的一个接触面相切,最好(如图3所示)与阴部6a或6b的内侧表面相切,且距与将要接合的管状元件相接触的表面相对的表面有一特定的距离。

Claims (15)

1、一种线状元件,包括:至少一根包复有热塑性塑料的电阻丝,其中,包复层2具有位于该线状元件的相对两侧的共轭成型部分,以构成机械固定部分,该机械固定部分的一部分可卡入并固定在相邻的同型线状元件的另一固定部分内,以便将该各相邻的线状元件连接在一起,其特征在于,它包括第二根被包覆的加热线8,加热线8与两段要连接在一起的线状元件的接触面相切,并可将这两段要连接的线状元件焊接在一起。
