技术领域
本发明涉及连接第一膜幅和第二膜幅的方法和装置,其中,两个膜幅提供转印膜或层叠膜,并包括载体膜和装饰层,其中,装饰层特别是形成(覆盖全部表面)为金属层和/或颜色层。本发明还涉及膜幅,诸如是可使用根据本发明方法形成的膜幅。
背景技术
在转印膜和层叠膜的处理和使用中,好几个膜幅经常必须彼此连接,以获得相应较长的总长度(“延伸长度”)。膜幅然后最好卷绕在卷筒上供使用,在要求的延伸长度上没有中断。
以此方式获得的膜幅越长,则使用时可达到生产能力的水平就越高。例如,伴随更换卷筒所带来的调整安装或停工时间也相应地减少。
已知的连接膜幅的方法被称作“拼接”,其中,行内惯用的自粘带用手工附连,以将两个膜幅胶合在一起。层叠或转印膜(一侧上用可脱离的转印层涂敷的膜)通常胶合在膜未涂敷的那侧上。粘结带的宽度通常在2cm和5cm之间的范围内。粘结带通常具有的厚度范围约为30μm至130μm。还可使用粘结带施加到两侧的应用。
用粘结带实施拼接成本上是经济有效的,并可使膜幅彼此以相对高的配准精度实施,且该拼接(连接点或连接接缝)具有高的强度,尤其是,沿膜幅前行方向的拉伸强度。该沿膜幅前行方向的拉伸强度是关键的,因为在膜幅处理过程中,例如,在印刷机、层合机、层叠机、热印机、冷印机中沿前行方向会出现尤其快速运输膜幅的力。
在个别图像的压印中,这些个别图像或图形(板)布置在膜上的特殊设计中,呈规则的线和轨迹。通常地,待要压印的板彼此靠近地平放,使通常使用的粘结带平放在压印区域内,因此,也在待要压印的板区域内。粘结带覆盖的板因此不会被压印并损失。为了避免因粘结带或出现在粘结带边缘处的粘结带的粘结引起的压印误差和/或压印工具脏污,因此要探测拼接并使膜前进,由此,存在材料的损失和产量降低。为了能使拼接可探测,通常使用颜色的和通常为不透明(非透明)的粘结带。
拼接的缺点还在于,由于使用传统的粘结带,属于该类型的冷固粘结剂在较高压力可被压出。例如,甚至在拼接的膜卷内,于是卷上的相邻圈粘连在一起,卷不能再被展开。以此方式分布在卷内的冷固粘结剂还将膜幅上多个点弄脏,由此,它们可能不再被使用。另一缺点在于,迄今所使用的相对厚的粘结带导致在膜卷内产生不理想的标记和凹痕,尤其是通过好几层的膜,其结果,此外,靠近拼接处的膜幅材料变得不能用于进一步处理。
发明内容
本发明的目的是详述改进的方法和改进的装置,通过改进的方法和装置可减少或防止出现所列举的缺点。
根据本发明,通过连接第一膜幅和第二膜幅的方法来达到该目的,其中,两个膜幅提供转印膜或层叠膜,并包括载体膜和装饰层(特别是,金属层和/或颜色层),其中,设置成连接是使用粘结剂进行的,该粘结剂在室温(在1013毫巴大气压下20℃)下的基本状态中是无效的(或非粘性的),而其通过供热或提供辐照可被激活,(因此)在本方法中可被激活。
装饰层也可表征为光学活性微结构,例如,衍射的或折射的结构,诸如、全息、亚光结构;零阶衍射结构,或还可是微棱镜或微透镜,它们的能见度通过金属层、金属化合物或尤其作为反射层的所谓HRI层(HRI=高折射率)得到提高。多层系统、单色或多色的印刷层、带有磁性颜料的层等也可用作为装饰层。
在本情形中,通过使用热熔粘结剂或反应性粘结剂,尤其是,通过辐照而可固化的粘结剂,便可避免现有技术中的缺点,即,粘结剂在压力之下会被压出或挤压出的缺点。热熔粘结剂还实现特别良好的粘结力,其结果,使用相对少量材料就可在粘结接头处达到膜幅所需的拉伸强度。通过辐照可固化的粘结剂最好是使用UV光线可固化的粘结剂,然而,其它射线(蓝光、离子束等)原理上也可用于固化。所有单组分和多组分的反应性粘结剂都可用作反应性粘结剂。该类型的热熔粘结剂或UV固化的粘结剂在室温下是固体的和非粘性的,结果,大大地避免了上述粘结剂被压出或挤压出的现象,即使最少量的粘结剂残留突出也没有粘性,且在卷起来的膜幅内和/或在膜幅处理过程中(热印、冷印)不造成任何的弄脏。
本发明基于这样的认识,当第一和第二膜幅根据本发明连接起来时,即使这些膜幅形成为热印膜,膜幅也不会受到损害。尤其是,还可在由最下平放的膜幅制成的膜幅端部之间的连接点的区域内或在由两个膜幅制成的接缝点处进行压印,不存在在压印物体上认出连接点达到过多的程度。因此已经表明,带有连接点的膜幅区域构成的压印质量,甚至比由没有连接点的膜幅区域构成的压印,还足以使用在非常许多的使用领域。
在本发明的优选实施例中,粘结剂设置在单独的(不同于膜幅)带状或其它合适形状的载体上。即使使用热熔粘结剂或辐照固化粘结剂,也可取用使用粘结带的技术。在载体上提供粘结剂是特别方便的方法,因为粘结剂可与载体一起储存。
这里的带状载体较佳地可以是透明的,特别是,可由包括聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)或聚酯的材料构成。对于带状载体和膜幅可以考虑的其它可能材料是:聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、BOPP膜(BOPP=双轴向定向聚丙烯)、PET-G、PVC、PC、PP、PS、PEN、ABS、合成纸或两个或多个如此层的层叠件(PET-G=带有乙二醇的PET;PVC=氯乙烯;PC=聚碳酸脂;PP=聚丙烯;PS=聚苯乙烯;PEN=聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯;ABS=丙烯腈丁二烯苯乙烯共聚物)。因为带状载体的透明性,即使载体仍然存在于复合膜幅上,也可通过载体识别图形,以便即使在膜幅之间的连接点区域内能够因此以配准的精度进行压印。如果冷压印的膜彼此连接成膜幅,则足够强度的光线,例如,UV辐照,可在冷压印过程中通过透明的带状载体。
PET特别适用于带状载体,因为膜幅通常也包括由PET制成的载体。
这也可这样来表述,使待施加到膜幅之间的连接点处以及施加到膜幅的带状载体的膨胀系数,彼此相差不超过50%,较佳地不超过20%,特别较佳地不超过10%,于是,连接点具有特别高的拉伸强度。
在另一优选实施例中,带状载体具有的厚度在5μm和50μm之间,较佳地在8μm和20μm之间,特别较佳地是在10μm和15μm之间。其上的粘结剂层厚度在1μm和5μm之间,较佳地在2μm和3μm之间。
在所列举的小厚度(例如,带有粘结剂层为3μm的载体厚度12μm,总共为15μm)的情形中,带状载体在压印过程中难于破裂,即使它是完成的总膜幅的部分,也难于破裂。
在粘结剂设置在载体膜幅上的该方法中,不同的变型都是可能的:
在第一变型中,在带状载体附连之前,两个膜幅被切割和定位,这样,它们彼此邻接(进入到邻接),带状载体放置成交迭彼此邻接的膜幅端部,然后,激活粘结剂,其结果,带状载体粘结到两个膜幅。
这里取用使用带有冷固粘结剂的传统粘结带的技术,但因为本发明使用热熔粘结剂或辐照固化的粘结剂,所以确保了特别良好的粘结力,同时使用了相对少量的材料。例如,即使在特别薄的带状载体的情形中,也可确保提高的粘结力(参见以上列举厚度的较小数值)。
在该变型中,两个膜幅最好先彼此交迭平放,然后,在交迭区域内穿过膜幅作切割(其中,特别是使用小刀、剃刀刀片、切割辊、剪刀、切割模,使用激光或超声波进行切割),在切割进行之后,以此方式形成的膜幅切断的端部可被移去。
通过在连接之前切割膜幅,或多或少没有接缝地可特别形成限定的连接点。如果合适的话,这里甚至可能确保在连接点区域内的配准精度,其结果,如此的接头完全不再被看得出来。所谓配准的精度(也称作对齐精度)是指相对的定位精度,尤其是连接点相对于彼此的精度。定位精度在非常低的允差内变化,通常在两位数字,最多在三位数字内的微米范围。该术语是源自术语“配准”、“配准标记”,其意指光学的标记,借助于该光学标记,可用光学方法特别好地识别出与上述允差的偏差。例如,配准标记可以是两个交迭圆、十字线、三角形或它们的组合。配准标记也被称作对齐标记。
通过修改第一变型,在带状载体附连之前且在切割之后,膜幅可以定位成使得它们略微交迭几个毫米(例如,在0.5和4mm之间)。在该情形中,带状载体放置在进一步交迭的膜幅的交迭端部上,然后使粘结剂活化。在活化过程中,例如,通过热压印带状载体,不仅带状载体上的粘结剂被活化,而且来自于位于下面膜幅的任何热熔粘结剂也被活化。有利地是,下部交迭的膜幅端部的交迭的膜幅端部胶合到上部交迭的膜幅端部的粘结剂层。
在也在例举的修改中的第一变型中,在切割之后且在定位之前,用硅树脂涂敷的且表面粘结非常低的片状元件,尤其是硅树脂涂敷的(片状)纸,较佳地进一步平放在两个膜幅端部下面。如果使用热熔粘结剂,其因此通过提供热量和压力而被活化,则这是特别有利的。涂敷硅树脂的元件或纸然后防止组装的膜幅粘结到基底上。较佳地,在先前例举的第一变型(以及也在其后将要列举的其它变型)的情形中,使用平移提升的压印头、转动移动的加热的辊子或平移和转动移动的辊子压印头,使用热熔粘结剂来实施该活化。这些工具可特别有利地被使用。
在该方法的第二变型中,其中,使用带有粘结剂的载体带,该带形载体在两侧上具有粘结剂。膜幅端部布置成彼此交迭,该带形载体平放在交迭区域内的膜幅端部之间。如果合适的话,在载体定位在膜幅端部之间之前。从载体上移去保护粘结剂层的保护层,例如,硅树脂层。粘结剂然后在载体两侧上被激活,其结果,带状载体粘结在两个膜幅端部之间,其结果,它们连接在一起。该技术确保非常可靠的粘结和高的拉伸强度。
在带有仅在其底侧上具有粘结剂的载体带的实施例的第三变型中,膜幅端部布置成彼此交迭,且带状载体平放在交迭区域内的膜幅端部之间。借助于热压印工具(提升压印头、加热的辊子、辊子压印头等),第一膜幅的装饰层然后转印到带状载体上,具体是其上侧,粘结剂从带状载体的底侧分离并转印到第二膜幅上。然后从交迭部中取出带状载体,热压印工具(或替代地,UV辐照或其它高能光线)然后再次使用,使交迭区域内的膜幅端部彼此胶合,并因此将它们彼此连接起来。已经从中移去装饰层的第一膜幅的那侧,面向设置有粘结剂的第二膜幅的侧面。转印到第二膜幅的粘结剂然后被激活,其中,处于交迭部中而没有装饰层的第一膜幅,借助于粘结剂,牢固地粘结到交迭区域中的第二膜幅。
这样,在连接点处仅获得一个装饰层,即,最下面平放的膜幅的装饰层。其结果,当膜幅是冷压印膜时,该冷压印可更容易地实施,因为它不需要令(UV)光穿透上部装饰层并由此减弱得太多。
本发明还有这样的实施例,其中,带有粘结剂的载体带可省略掉。这里,使用刮刀、喷溅、散布、印刷或其它方式,以液体或固体形式,将粘结剂施加到第二膜幅的膜幅端部上。然后,较佳地在装饰层已经从第一膜幅的膜幅端部剥离之后,第一膜幅的膜幅端部平放交迭第二膜幅的膜幅端部,且粘结剂被激活,其结果,膜幅端部在交迭区域中彼此粘结,因此,膜幅彼此连接。装饰层移去的第一膜幅的那侧,面向设置有粘结剂的第二膜幅的那侧。
在本发明另一替代的实施例中,提供粘结剂作为膜幅中的外层。第一和第二膜幅的膜幅端部布置成彼此交迭,这样,第一膜幅的带有粘结剂的层,面对第二膜幅背离第二膜幅的装饰层的侧面。借助于热压印工具(提升的压印头、加热的辊子、辊子压印头),第一膜幅的粘结剂然后被激活,其结果,膜幅端部在交迭区域内彼此粘结。第二膜幅的装饰层然后代表复合膜幅的有用的装饰层。
这里感知到的优点是,在膜幅上,尤其是第一膜幅,在任何情况下粘结剂层可以已经存在。例如,诸如载体带那样的附加元件由此可以省略掉。连接点只通过膜幅端部之间的交迭部才被识别到。
如上已经阐述的,所有实施例中根据本发明的方法特别适用于这样的情形:待要彼此连接的膜幅提供热压印膜或冷压印膜。
在所有实施例中该方法的优选设计中,在膜幅连接过程中,在每种情形中考虑位于两个膜幅上的一个图形或标记,以使相应的图形或标记以配准或定位精度相对于彼此布置。这样,可保证两个膜幅之间连接点上图形或标记的连续性。可取用探测如此图形或标记的已知技术,例如,使用光学传感器或照相机,或例如对配准标记或对齐标记进行直接图形的探测。
在膜幅的相应处理或使用过程中,例如,在施加膜的机器中或生产膜的机器中,根据本发明的方法可自动地或半自动地或手工地实现。如果膜幅在相应机器内的运行速度减慢下来,使得膜幅可根据本发明连接起来,则对此是有利的。运行速度最好只是减慢,但要避免完全的停止,其结果,尽管有拼接,但仍可发生膜幅的连续处理过程。在膜幅拼接或连接之后,可发生加速返回到原始运行速度。替代地,然而还可能根据本发明,用静止(即,停止)的膜幅来实施该方法,或者在另一替代方案中,用未减慢的(即,全速的)相应机器来实施该方法。
本发明目的还通过实施该方法的装置来达到。该装置具有受控制设备控制的工具,用以移动和/或夹紧和/或切割两个膜幅中至少一个的膜幅端部,以及用以探测图形和/或标记位置的设备,其中,控制设备构造成根据探测到的位置来实现移动、夹紧和/或切割。位置的探测可用光学方法来进行。
因此,根据本发明的装置能够实施优选变型中的该方法,使得配准精度也在膜幅之间的连接点区域内得到保证。
根据本发明的装置可较佳地布置在膜缠绕设备上,例如,布置在印刷机或层合机或层叠机或热压印机或冷压印机内。那里,膜幅被馈送到对应机器以作进一步处理。有利地是,在那里实施膜幅的连接,以使进一步处理程序尽可能少地中断,且该处理程序需要尽可能少地受干扰。以此方式调节膜卷绕设备的速度同样是特别地容易。因此,使用简单装置,该膜卷绕设备便可减慢或停止,以使连接膜幅更加容易,且在膜幅已经连接之后,膜卷绕设备可容易地加速或再次起动。例如,使用任何情形中都存在的电动机控制单元便可发生上述的动作,且如果合适的话,电动机控制单元也可控制其它驱动器或相应机器的处理模块,以同步变化的处理速度。同样地,根据本发明的装置可用于生产膜的机器中,以使机器中生产出的膜的移动长度匹配于特殊的要求。因此,例如,来自不同的、分开的生产运行中的个别膜幅可连接起来,以在组合的卷筒上形成组合的膜幅。尤其是,这可这样发生,以使膜幅的进一步处理变得更加容易。
本发明目的进一步通过提供膜幅来得到,在第一方面,膜幅包括载体膜和装饰层(尤其是,金属层和/或颜色层),并由至少两个部分的膜幅组成,它们借助于粘结剂在两个相应的部分膜幅端部处彼此连接,在连接过程中,粘结剂通过供应热量或供应辐照(紫外线光、蓝光、离子等)而被激活。
如此的膜幅可使用根据本发明的方法来获得。
本发明的目的在第二方面通过膜幅来达到,该膜幅包括载体膜和装饰层(尤其是,金属层和/或颜色层),并由至少两个部分的膜幅组成,它们在两个相应的部分膜幅端部处借助于(尤其是透明的)带彼此连接,该带较佳地由包括聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)的材料制成,其厚度在5μm和100μm之间,较佳地在10μm和15μm之间。最后例举的膜幅尤其可包括第一例举的膜幅的特性。
在根据第二方面的膜幅的情形中,相对薄的透明带设置在部分膜幅之间的连接区域内。通过使用基于本实施例的根据本发明的方法,这特别可能形成。尤其是,结合第一方面(热熔粘结剂或辐照固化的粘结剂),这里可在连接点处提供足够的拉伸强度。

具体实施方式
整体标以附图标记1的膜幅与后面的类似膜幅2连接,以形成聚合的膜幅。
膜幅各具有层结构,如图1所示:
载体膜11,例如是聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET),其位于相应的上侧上,层厚度在5μm和500μm之间。在载体膜11上,存在有分离层12,其起到能使另外的层13、14、15与载体膜11更容易地分离。例如,分离层由蜡组成。层13是保护层,例如由丙烯酸清漆组成或由丙烯酸清漆混合物组成,是热干燥和/或UV固化的。例如是铝或铬或铜的金属层14跟在保护层13后。位于最外、最下的层15是粘结剂层,如果膜幅1是热印膜,则最好是热活化的粘结剂。如果膜幅1是冷印膜,层15是由最好是热活化的粘结剂制成的所谓的粘结促进剂或底层,且该热活化的粘结剂可以与(UV固化的)粘结剂互相作用。
在该方法的第一实施例中,两个膜幅1和2首先平铺,令它们的膜幅端部彼此交迭(图2a)。用硅树脂涂敷的纸张3(令涂敷硅树脂的那侧在最上面)平铺在膜幅端部下面,这样,膜幅端部不粘结到基底上(图2b)。(该步骤是可选的。)
膜幅端部现被夹紧和固定到基底4上。例如,如果基底4具有小的穿孔(图中未示出),膜幅端部通过这些穿孔可被吸住,则可借助于真空来实现上述做法。例如,膜幅端部也可很快地固定在相对于纵向延伸部是横向的角部或边缘处并使用诸如拉杆那样的夹紧装置夹紧。夹紧和固定到基底上还可使用静电力来实施。最后,真空、拉杆或静电力也可彼此组合起来使用。
重要的是,在根据图2b的布置中,膜端部平放或保持得靠近,这样,当施加外力时,就如随后就要施加的那样,膜端部不改变它们的位置,或只是略微有所改变。
在以下的步骤中(图2c),热印工具5(这里显示为提升的压印,替代地是加热的滚筒或滚筒压印)压靠在上部膜幅2上。如热印的惯常做法,这里的热印工具被加热,其热量传送到上部膜幅2,其结果,粘结剂层15(或在冷印膜幅的情形中,可供选择地是底层15)被激活,即,变得有粘性,结果膜幅1和2的两个膜幅端部彼此胶合和粘结在一起。
使热印工具升温到80℃至140℃,例如升到110℃,并持续1至2秒钟时间。重要的是,只有粘结剂层15被激活,且例如没使载体膜11熔化或收缩。在热印之前,可使用热空气或辐射加热器来预热膜幅和/或热印工具上的压印点,以在形成连接过程中能够仅在相对短时间施加热印工具。以其能够作为压印膜的方式来使用上部膜幅,以在上部膜幅2和下部膜幅1之间形成连接。
然后,移去硅树脂纸3,因此在两个膜幅1和2之间有良好的连接。尤其是对足够厚的载体膜11(介于12和20μm之间,例如为19μm厚)以及在粘结剂层15内保证足够量的粘结剂确保了拉伸载荷。例如,粘结剂层15厚度可大于5μm(例如,8μm)。这对应于同样数量的g/m2,因此,例如是8g/m2
本情形中该方法的第一实施例具有的优点是,在其后的热压印中,压花工具不会弄脏。
在该方法的第二实施例中,根据图3a,膜幅1和2的膜幅端部首先再次交迭。膜幅端部然后以上述方式被压紧并固定到基底。如图3b所示,然后应用切割工具6,例如,小刀、剃刀刀片、切割辊、剪刀、切割模。替代地,也可应用激光束或超声波。切割刃、激光束等也可以特别的刃角进行切割,刃角相对于膜幅表面不等于90°,其结果,在切割点处形成对角的切割端。
具体是,膜幅1和2的两个膜幅端部同时进行切割,于是膜幅端部然后邻接。移去其余的膜幅端部块16和26,参见图3c。在对角切割端部的情形中,当对接放置时,两个倾斜的表面互锁。
然后使用喷溅工具7将粘结剂8喷溅到一个膜幅1上,其在后来起作下部膜幅1的功能。诸如使用刮刀、散布、印刷之类的其它施加的选项也是可能的。下层可从另一膜幅2剥去被移去,即,例如使用粘结剂带(可选的)手工地从另一膜幅2剥去。如果膜幅2的膜幅端部现在平放在膜幅1的膜幅端部上,且根据图3e,热印工具5然后如图3f所示地施加,则先前喷溅上的粘结剂8被激活,两个膜幅1和2彼此胶合。
尤其是,如果用手工方式移去膜幅2的膜幅端部的传递层,则在连接点的区域内在完成的膜幅上只有一层金属层(作为膜幅2的装饰层的部分),其结果,在冷压印过程中尤其是在拼接区域内UV辐照变得更容易。
在该方法的第三实施例中,首先实施与该方法第二实施例中相同的步骤,图4a至4c对应于图3a至3c。然而,在本情形中,如图4d所示,粘结剂不以液体形式而是使用载体9以固体形式施加。该载体9可具有基体91,例如,厚度在1μm和6μm之间的粘结剂层92和93施加在基体91的两侧上。粘结剂层的自身部分可覆盖有保护层,然而,保护层在图4d中已经移去。如此的保护层例如可以是薄的硅树脂纸层。
在根据图4d的情形中,由于存在有粘结剂层93,载体9粘结到膜幅1。上部粘结剂层92暴露出来。如果现放置膜幅2,使其膜幅端部在载体9上,根据图4e,借助于粘结剂层92,膜幅2也可粘结到载体9上,并因此粘结到膜幅1。在本情形中,这也可使用热印工具5来实施,借助于该工具5,粘结剂层92和93内的粘结剂被激活,参照图4f中的箭头。
在根据本发明方法的第四实施例中,在对根据图4a至4f的实施例的修改中,首先该过程已经参照图3a至3c作了描述。然而,现使用具有基体91的载体9’,下部粘结剂层93定位在该基体91上,载体9’借助于该粘结剂层93粘结到膜幅1。然而,还有介于载体9’和粘结剂层93之间的硅树脂涂层94定位在基体91上。这里根据图5e还放置膜幅2,令其端部在载体9’上。如果现应用热印工具5(图5f),则另一方面,粘结剂层93中的粘结剂被激活,参见指向下的下部箭头。然而,同时膜幅2的转印层14、15压印在载体9’的上侧上,参见指向下的上部箭头。如图5g所示,载体9’然后可移去。粘结剂93现已从该载体9’分离,但膜幅2的膜幅端部的转印层95现位于载体9’的上侧上。
在载体9’已经移去之后,现可平放膜幅2,令其膜幅端部在膜幅1上,参见图5g,且当粘结剂层93其后使用热印工具5被激活时(图5h),根据图5k,形成了粘结剂的粘结。
在该实施例中,要保证提高仅一个金属层存在于连接区域(拼接区域)内的程度,即,下部膜幅1的转印层的金属层。尤其是在冷印过程中,由此也可能通过金属层实施对下部膜幅1的粘结剂的UV辐照。当下部膜幅1被热印时,要保证下部膜幅1的热熔粘结剂不弄脏热印工具。
在该方法的第五实施例中,首先根据图6a至6c的过程已经参照图3a至3c进行了解释。涂敷硅树脂的纸3’现平放在膜幅1和2的切下的膜幅端部下方。这防止膜幅1和2端部粘结到基底上。根据图6e,参见箭头61和62,膜幅1和2现可供选择地重新定位,使得它们之间的间隙为最小,小于1mm。与迄今描述过的实施例不同,在本第五实施例中,在膜幅端部之间不再设置交迭,而是膜幅端部彼此邻接,膜幅端部处于“邻接中”。
根据图6f,热熔粘结剂带63现定位在切割点或邻接点上。
热熔粘结剂带63包括PET载体64和粘结剂层65。PET载体64是透明的,并具有介于5和20μm之间的厚度。例如为12μm。在本情形中,粘结剂层65包括热激活的粘结剂,且近似为3μm厚(介于2.5和3.5μm之间)。热熔粘结剂带63因此总厚度近似为15μm。然后施加热印工具5(图6g),粘结剂层65内的粘结剂被激活。其结果,热熔粘结剂带63现快速粘结到膜幅1和2。在硅树脂纸3’已经移去之后,借助于已经变为总膜幅的一体部分的热熔粘结剂带63,根据图6h,在膜幅1和2之间获得了牢固的连接。
通过避免交迭,还能在连接点区域(拼接区域)内提高压印程度。这对于特别程度的冷压印尤其是如此。因为热熔粘结剂带63厚度小,又因为通过将它们定位成“邻接中”而使膜幅1和2没有交迭,所以,完成膜幅上的拼接点也很难看到裂开的形式。
在该方法的第六实施例中,首先,该过程类似于第五实施例,然而,在该情形中,下面的硅树脂纸3’可被省却,在膜幅1和2的端部被切割掉之后,便发生根据图7d的重新定位而没有如此的硅树脂纸,见箭头71和72。
这里,粘结剂带63’(见图7e)也平放在切割点上,在本情形中,该粘结剂带包括与根据图6f的粘结剂带63相同的PET载体64,然而,在该情形中带有可用UV辐照进行固化的粘结剂65’。
相应地,在步骤7f中,不采用热印工具,而是采用UV辐照,参见箭头73,于是在膜幅1和2之间形成牢固的粘结,参见图7g。
所有例举的方法中,使用合适的探测装置,例如,诸如照相机那样的光学探测装置,可确保以配准的精度使膜幅1和2彼此连接,这样,位于膜幅1和2上的图形事实上在接合点上持续不中断。
这里,例如,通过光学探测装置直接探测到位于膜幅上的图形,在尤其用于设定切割点的第二至第六方法中,交迭的合适定位确保膜幅1和2其余部分以配准的精度相对于彼此平放。配准精度意味着,彼此对应的图形区域在每一种情形中都布置成彼此离开相同的距离,甚至在接合点上也是如此。
取代直接探测膜幅上的图形做法,也可将记录标记设置在膜幅上;这些标记是故意设置的标记,它们在进一步的处理步骤中用作定位膜幅,并在本情形中,当使两个膜幅1和2彼此连接时,考虑这些标记。记录标记尤其也可以打孔形式存在,然后,它们可通过机械设备也可光学地被探测到。
在对应的装置中,探测设备将测量信号发送到控制设备,然后这合适地控制其它设备或装置,这样,在接头已经产生之后,两个膜幅1和2的膜幅端部相对于彼此以配准的精度布置。例如,它们可以是移动膜幅端部的装置,根据用于探测位置的设备所获得的信号来实施该运动。同样地,替代地或添加地,膜幅端部也可用夹紧装置合适地被夹紧,最后,切割装置也可根据所获得的测量值切割膜幅端部,这样,膜幅端部上的图形变得以配准的精度相对于彼此平放。
除第六实施例之外,这里使用热熔粘结剂来实施连接。
存在有该热熔粘结剂组分可具有的各种起始点(Fp=闪点;Tg=玻璃转变温度):
对于所有例举的该方法的实施例来讲,共同点是接头的形成即使在接合区域内也并未削弱实际的转印层,或在任何情况下仅有略微的削弱,其结果,即使在接合区域内也可实施压印。

Claims (26)

1.连接第一膜幅(1)和第二膜幅(2)的方法,其中,两个膜幅提供转印膜,并包括载体膜(11)和装饰层,
其特征在于,
连接是使用粘结剂(15、8、92;93、65、65’)进行的,所述粘结剂在室温下的基本状态中是无活性的,而其通过供热或提供辐照可被激活,因此在本方法中被激活,
所述粘结剂设置在分开的带状载体(9、9’;63、63’)上。

4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,所述带状载体由包括聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)的材料构成。
5.如权利要求1或3所述的方法,其特征在于,所述带状载体具有的厚度在5μm和100μm之间,且所述带状载体上的粘结剂层厚度在1μm和5μm之间。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述带状载体具有的厚度在8μm和20μm之间。
7.如权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述带状载体具有的厚度在10μm和15μm之间。
8.如权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述带状载体上的粘结剂层厚度在2μm和3μm之间。
9.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,在所述带状载体(63、63’)附连之前,两个膜幅被切割和定位,使得两个膜幅彼此邻接,且所述带状载体(63、63’)放置在彼此邻接的所述膜幅(1、2)的端部上,然后,激活所述粘结剂(65、65’),于是所述带状载体(63、63’)粘结到两个膜幅(1、2)。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于,所述两个膜幅(1、2)彼此交迭平放,并在交迭区域内穿过两个膜幅作切割,以此方式形成的切断的膜幅端部(16、26)被移去。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于,所述切割使用小刀、剃刀刀片、切割辊、剪刀、切割模或者使用激光或超声波进行。
12.如权利要求9或10所述的方法,其特征在于,在切割之后且在定位之前,用硅树脂涂敷的片状元件(3’),平放在两个膜幅端部下面。
13.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于,硅树脂涂敷的片状元件(3’)是硅树脂涂敷的纸片(3)。
14.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述带状载体(9)两侧上具有粘结剂(92、93),且所述膜幅端部布置成彼此交迭,且所述带状载体(9)平放在交迭区域中的膜幅端部之间,并然后激活所述粘结剂,于是所述带状载体(9)粘结在两个膜幅端部之间。
15.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述膜幅端部布置成彼此交迭,且所述带状载体(9’)平放在交迭区域内的膜幅端部之间,借助于热压印工具(5),所述第一膜幅(2)的所述装饰层(14)转印到所述带状载体(9’)上,粘结剂(93)从所述带状载体(9’)分离并转印到所述第二膜幅(1)上,然后取出所述带状载体(9’),且然后再次施加热压印工具(5)或辐照,于是使交迭区域内的膜幅端部彼此粘结。
16.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,使用刮刀、喷溅、散布、印刷或其它方式,以液体或固体形式,将粘结剂(8)施加到第二膜幅(2)的膜幅端部上,然后,第一膜幅(1)的膜幅端部与第二膜幅(2)的膜幅端部交叠平放,且粘结剂被激活,于是,膜幅端部在交迭区域中彼此粘结。
17.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,提供粘结剂作为第一膜幅(1)中的外层(15),第一膜幅(1)和第二膜幅(2)的膜幅端部布置成彼此交迭,使得带有粘结剂(15)的层,面对第二膜幅(2),且借助于热压印工具(5),粘结剂(15)被激活,于是,膜幅端部在交迭区域内彼此粘结。
18.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,使用平移提升的压印头(5)、转动移动的加热的辊子或平移和转动移动的辊子压印头,作为热压印工具来实施该激活。
19.如权利要求18所述的方法,其特征在于,在活化之前,使用热空气或辐射加热器来预热热印工具和/或膜幅上暴露于热印工具的压印点。
20.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述膜幅(1、2)提供热印膜或冷印膜。
21.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,在膜幅连接过程中,在每种情形中考虑位于两个膜幅上的至少一个图形或标记,以使相应的图形或标记以配准精度相对于彼此布置。
22.膜幅,所述膜幅包括载体膜(11)和装饰层,所述装饰层由至少两个部分的膜幅(1、2)组成,所述至少两个部分的膜幅(1、2)借助于粘结剂(15、8、92;93、65、65’)在两个相应的部分膜幅端部处彼此连接,在连接过程中,所述粘结剂(15、8、92;93、65、65’)通过供应热量或供应辐照而被激活,所述两个部分的膜幅(1、2)是转印膜,所述膜幅包括载体膜(11)和装饰层,所述装饰层是金属层和/或颜色层(14),并由至少两个部分的膜幅(1、2)组成,所述至少两个部分的膜幅(1、2)借助于带(63、63’)在两个相应的部分膜幅端部处彼此连接,其厚度在8μm和20μm之间。
23.如权利要求22所述的膜幅,其特征在于,所述装饰层是金属层和/或颜色层(14)。
24.如权利要求23所述的膜幅,其特征在于,所述带(63、63’)是透明的。
25.如权利要求23所述的膜幅,其特征在于,所述带(63、63’)由包括聚乙烯的材料制成。
26.如权利要求23所述的膜幅,其特征在于,所述带(63、63’)厚度在10μm和15μm之间。
