技术领域

背景技术
存在已知方法来在单层或分层玻璃窗单元的边缘中结合发光二极管模块(LED模块),使得LED发出的光通过玻璃片材的边缘进入,并且被片材导引到散射元件,散射元件也被称为光提取器件。
这些照明式玻璃窗单元基本具有环境照明或打光信号(因此使用低功率LED)的功能。这些边缘照亮式玻璃窗单元的光输出一般受到限制,因为用作波导件的玻璃和/或其附近的材料吸收光会引起光损失。
由于通常显著减小吸收引起的光损失是困难甚至不可能的,所以另一种获得较高亮度的可行方式是使用较强大的光源。

根据本发明的这个玻璃窗单元与已知的LED玻璃窗单元的区别在于,这个玻璃窗单元进一步包括散热器元件,散热器元件与LED模块处于导热接触,并且与封装器件接触,而且通过热交换表面(S)与大气接触。
优选地选择LED模块,使得当模块接通时,每单位长度的模块发出的热能至少等于1 瓦每分米,优选范围为2至6 瓦每分米,并且特别是2.5至5 瓦每分米。
LED模块发出的热能不仅取决于它们的电力消耗(以瓦表示),而且还取决于光输出。实际上,对于给定水平的电力消耗,发出的热随着光输出的减少而增加。但是,这决不表示本发明试图使用光输出低、发出大量热的LED模块。另外在这个参数的协助下限定本发明的原因只是在于,在某个水平之下,模块产生的热不会导致温度不合需要地升高,而且LED的寿命缩短的技术问题以较低程度存在或者甚至完全不存在。

在本申请中,用语“第一片材”始终表示边缘照亮式片材,而第二片材大体不被照亮。根据本发明的玻璃窗单元优选地安装在车辆上,使得第一片材是与车辆的乘客车厢接触的片材,而第二片材则是较接近车辆的外部的片材,其通常直接接触车辆外部的大气。
相对于第一片材和第二片材两者,用语“第一主要表面”表示片材的朝向车辆的内部的面。逻辑上,用语“第二主要表面”表示各个片材的面向或意于面向车辆的外部的表面。
在分层玻璃窗单元中使用的分层夹层可由通常为了这个目的而使用的任何透明的聚合物材料制成,例如聚(乙烯醇缩丁醛)(PVB)、热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)或乙烯醋酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)。
第二片材优选大于第一片材,使得它至少在其外周的一部分上延伸超过第一片材的。然后在第二延伸超过第一片材的点处,将包括LED模块、封装和/或散热器元件的边缘照亮式系统施用到第二片材的第一表面上。
理论上,可行的是使用所称的“耐热性”LED模块,也就是说,由树脂覆盖以使它们对大气水分不那么敏感或者不受大气水分影响的那些,但这个耐热不是必不可少的,因为本发明优选通过结合封装器件和散热器来提供保护LED的功能。换句话说,散热器元件与封装器件相互作用,以便包围LED模块,以及优选以不透水的方式,而且还优选以不透气和不透水蒸气的方式,使LED模块与大气隔开。
在本发明的一个实施例中,散热器具有板形部件,板形部件用作封闭封装器件所界定的空间的盖。在这种情况下,封装器件呈压条或成形元件的形式,压条或成形元件包围和界定其中容纳有一个或多个LED模块的区域,并且散热器与封装器件相互作用,以便覆盖一个或多个LED模块,以及封闭其中容纳有它们的空间。
封装器件可为通过注射模制所制备成的元件,或者可为的预成形的压条,诸如粘合剂或弹性体压条,预成形的压条在玻璃窗单元的边界处施用和固定在第一片材的第一正面上,而且如果必要的话,施用和固定在第二片材的第一正面上,如果玻璃窗单元的边界的几何结构适用于此的话。
但是,散热器不必用作其中容纳有LED的空间的盖。它可以只是由导热材料制成的、形状或多或少地复杂的零件,它与LED模块处于导热接触。在这种情况下,可通过包覆模制来制造封装器件,它至少部分地覆盖LED模块和散热器的与LED模块接触的部分。显然,封装器件必须离开散热器元件的热交换表面(S)。为了确保大体不透明的封装器件不阻碍LED的发光面和第一片材的边缘之间的光学耦合空间,用透明粘合剂填充这个空间可为必要的。
散热器高效地移除LED模块的LED和其它电子构件发出的热能的能力取决于下者:
-与LED模块接触的程度和功效,
-制造散热器的材料的导热率,以及
-与大气接触的热交换表面。
本发明中使用的散热器导热率(λ)优选为至少180 W/mK,特别是至少200 W/mK,以及特别优选的是至少230 W/mK。
优选地在金属或金属合金之中选择散热器的材料,铝及其合金是特别优选的,因为它们的成本低、重量轻且导热率超过230 W/mK。
散热器大体通过其上安装有LED的PCB来与一个或多个LED模块接触。显然,最大程度地增加PCB和散热器之间的接触表面是合乎需要的。用热粘合剂将这两个元件结合在一起是有帮助的。
最后,散热器的几何结构显然对其功效有决定性作用。在优选实施例中,散热器具有多个与大气接触的翅片,这些翅片构成散热器的热交换表面(S)的至少50%,或者优选至少60%,。
在上面描述的实施例中,其中,散热器具有覆盖容纳LED的空间的板形部件,翅片优选地位于这个板形部件的与朝向LED的面相对的面上。当容纳LED的空间已经被散热器覆盖时,翅片因而朝向外侧,与车辆的外部大气接触,或者与乘客车厢的气氛接触。
在优选实施例中,散热器元件具有足够的导热率和与大气接触的足够的热交换表面(S),以确保LED在运行期间的温度升高不超过大约40℃,优选不超过大约30℃,以及特别地不超过大约20℃。要相对于当LED模块关闭时的LED的温度来理解这个升高。
LED可为侧面发光式LED或顶部发光式LED。顶部发光式LED形成优选实施例。这是因为在市场可获得形状最多样化且成本低的此类LED。
光提取器件理论上可位于第一玻璃片材的两个正面中的一个上,第二玻璃片材的两个面中的一个上(如果存在),或者位于这两片材的厚度中。它可为通过印刷到玻璃片材的一个正面或分层夹层的一个面上而施用的散射瓷漆或散射墨水。散射涂层可为半透明或不透明的。
虽然所有这些可行选择是可行的,但一些对于优化玻璃窗单元的整体光输出的目的是优选的。考虑到这个优化,特别优选的是用作光提取元件的器件是基本不透明的散射涂层,优选为白色,它位于第一片材的第二正面上。这是因为与第一片材的第一正面上的半透明涂层相比,这个实施例具有朝车辆的内部散射最大量的光,同时最大程度地减小朝外部散射而损失的光量的优点。
当包含在其中的所有LED都点亮时,根据本发明的玻璃窗单元优选地具有的亮度为至少5流明,优选范围为6至40流明,以及特别是7至30流明。
显然,本发明还提出了一种具有上面描述的照明式玻璃窗单元的车辆,优选机动车辆。这个照明式玻璃窗单元可为侧面玻璃窗单元,但它优选地形成车辆的车顶的一部分。

具体实施方式
更特别地,图1显示分层玻璃窗单元的边缘,分层玻璃窗单元具有第一玻璃片材1、第二玻璃片材2和分层夹层5,分层夹层5与第一玻璃片材1的第二正面12和第二玻璃片材2的第一正面21处于粘合接触。第一片材1的第一正面11接触车辆的内部,并且第二玻璃片材2的第二正面22朝向车辆的外部。
第二玻璃片材大于第一玻璃片材,并且用来支承封装元件4和散热器6的一部分。具有顶部发光式LED3的LED模块8定位成使得LED 3的发光面31朝向第一玻璃片材1的边缘13。第二玻璃片材的边缘23由封装器件4覆盖。
LED在第一片材的边缘13处所注入的光由第一片材导引,到达,光提取元件7是位于第一片材的第二正面上的浅色的不透明散射瓷漆涂层。
散热器元件6具有形状为倒T形的总横截面。竖向部分用作LED模块8的支承件。LED模块8和散热器元件6之间的导热接触由一层热粘合剂9提供。散热器的水平部分覆盖封装器件4的两个部分之间的空间。
通过两个粘合压条10将散热器6固定到第一玻璃片材和第二玻璃片材的第一主要表面上。这些压条允许散热器6定位成以便对封装器件4进行注射模制。在这个实施例中,边缘13和LED的发光面31之间的光学耦合简单地由陷在散热器和玻璃片材之间的空气提供。散热器具有一组翅片14,在图1中仅可看见其中的一个。这些翅片未被封装材料覆盖。它们形成散热器的热交换表面的主要部分。
图2显示根据本发明的玻璃窗单元的实施例,它不同图1的实施例,主要是因为LED3的发光面31之间的光学耦合由透明粘合剂15提供。在这种情况下,形状为倒T形的散热器元件6不覆盖容纳LED的空间,而是封装体4固定和部分地封闭承载LED 3的散热器6。显然,形成散热器的热交换表面的翅片14未被封装,而是保持无覆盖且与大气接触。
在图3中, 承载由LED3和PCB支承件形成的LED模块8的散热器元件6具有形状为梯级的横截面。通过封装器件4将这个散热器固定到第一片材1和第二片材2上,在这种情况下,封装器件4呈两个粘合压条的形式。LED 3的发光面31和边缘13之间的光学耦合由空气提供。
最后,图4显示根据本发明的单片材玻璃窗的示例。呈成形元件、具有L形横截面的散热器6承载LED模块8,借助于热粘合剂9来固定LED模块8。LED和玻璃片材之间的光学耦合由成压条的透明粘合剂15提供,这阻止封装器件4侵入LED的发光面31和玻璃片材1的边缘13之间的空间。如上面描述的所有其它实施例中那样,封装器件使散热器元件6的翅片14的表面完全无覆盖。

Claims (15)

1.一种用于车辆的照明式玻璃窗单元,包括
-透明的第一玻璃片材(1),其具有第一正面(11)、第二正面(12)和边缘(13),
-透明的第二玻璃片材(2),其具有第一正面(21)、第二正面(22)和边缘(23),以及与所述第一玻璃片材的第二正面以及所述第二玻璃片材的第一正面(21)处于粘合接触的分层夹层,
-包含发光二极管的一个或多个发光二极管模块(8),各个发光二极管模块具有多个发光二极管(3)和固定到印刷电路板上的相关联的电子构件,所述发光二极管模块定位成使得所述发光二极管的发光面(31)朝向所述第一玻璃片材的所述边缘(13),
-与所述第一玻璃片材的所述第一正面(11)接触的封装器件(4),以及
-位于所述第一玻璃片材的一个正面上的光提取元件(7),
其特征在于,所述照明式玻璃窗单元进一步包括散热器元件(6),其具有的导热率(λ)等于至少180 W/mK,所述散热器元件(6)与所述发光二极管模块处于导热接触,并且与所述封装器件(4)接触,而且通过热交换表面(S)与大气接触,所述散热器元件(6)具有与大气接触的多个翅片(14),这些翅片(14)构成所述散热器元件的热交换表面(S)的至少50%;并且所述第二玻璃片材大于所述第一玻璃片材,并至少在其外周的一部分上延伸超过第一玻璃片材,在所述第二玻璃片材延伸超过所述第一玻璃片材的点处,所述发光二极管模块、封装和散热器元件在所述第二玻璃片材的第一表面上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,当所述发光二极管模块接通时,所述发光二极管模块发出的热能至少等于1 瓦每分米。
3.根据权利要求2所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述发光二极管模块发出的热能为2至6 瓦每分米。
4.根据权利要求3所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述发光二极管模块发出的热能为2.5至5 瓦每分米。
5.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述散热器元件(6)与所述封装器件(4)相互作用,以便包围所述发光二极管,并且使它们与大气隔开。
6.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述封装器件(4)呈压条或成形元件的形式,所述压条或所述成形元件包围和界定其中容纳有一个或多个发光二极管模块的区域,所述散热器元件(6)与所述封装器件相互作用,以便覆盖所述一个或多个发光二极管模块,以及封闭其中容纳有所述一个或多个发光二极管模块的空间。
7.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述散热器元件(6)与所述封装器件(4)相互作用,以便以不透气的方式使所述一个或多个发光二极管模块与大气隔开。
8.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述翅片(14)构成所述散热器的热交换表面(S)的至少60%。
9.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述散热器元件具有的导热率(λ)等于至少200 W/mK。
10.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述散热器元件具有足够的导热率和与大气接触的足够的热交换表面(S),以确保所述发光二极管在运行期间的温度升高不超过40°。
11.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述光提取元件(7)是位于所述第一玻璃片材的所述第二正面上的不透明的散射涂层。
12.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,所述发光二极管是顶部发光式发光二极管。
13.根据权利要求1所述的照明式玻璃窗单元,其特征在于,当所述照明式玻璃窗单元被点亮时,所述照明式玻璃窗单元发出的亮度为至少5流明。
14.一种车辆,其具有根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的照明式玻璃窗单元。
15.根据权利要求14所述的车辆,其特征在于,所述照明式玻璃窗单元形成所述车辆的车顶的一部分。
