Description

用于卷制蜂窝体的设备和方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于卷制蜂窝体的设备和方法,更具体地,涉及用于卷制S型金属蜂窝体的设备和方法。
背景技术
蜂窝体在很多领域中都有应用,例如作为过滤器等。在机动车和发动机排气净化领域中,蜂窝体是常用的催化剂载体。蜂窝体接触表面积特别大、气阻小,具有优秀的机械性能和催化工程特性。近年来,S型金属蜂窝体尤其引人关注。
金属蜂窝体一般是由金属箔卷制而成的,而在卷制过程中需要使蜂窝结构不断被收紧,以使蜂窝体具有确定的内部通道结构。蜂窝体的制造精度会影响其使用寿命以及其它性能。
用于卷制这种蜂窝体的设备和方法在现有技术中是已知的。例如WO97/10135公开了这种蜂窝体的制造设备和方法。该设备包括可绕轴转动的、握持各金属箔叠堆的叉形卷绕装置以及闭合而形成一型模的弧形模段。所述型模由至少两个模段构成,各弧形模段可分别绕轴线转动。各转动轴线皆与卷绕轴线平行。在CN101251036A中也公开了这种用于制造蜂窝体的设备和方法,该设备包括固定柱和两组能够相互逐段闭合形成型模的成形段。上述的设备不仅结构复杂、难以制造,而且精度低。
US7,318,276B2公开了精细加工蜂窝体的方法,其中在将蜂窝结构卷制完成后通过一工具对其进行精细加工以使之达到所要求的性能。
以上现有技术已知的技术方案或者是对蜂窝体的造型不够准确而导致蜂窝体的性能不足甚至引起废品,或者是虽然提高了蜂窝体的制造精度但结构复杂、难以控制和/或成本高。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于,提供一种用于自动地卷制蜂窝体的设备,该设备结构简单并且使卷制成的蜂窝体稳定性好、寿命长。
根据本发明的设备包括成型模、卷针、卷针传动轴和收紧模。成型模包括多个分模,这多个分模以能张开并且能合拢的方式支承。卷针能伸入成型模的内腔中并且能从所述内腔中拔出,卷针能围绕一轴线转动。在卷针传动轴上支承卷针的一端部。所述收紧模用于收紧所述成型模。根据本发明提出,收紧模与所述成型模的形状相匹配,使得所述收紧模的运动引起所述成型模向内收紧。
通过上述设备,可在避免使用如现有技术中复杂收紧装置的情况下实现蜂窝结构的精确卷绕。
根据一种优选实施方式,所述成型模具有锥形的外表面,该锥形的外表面与所述收紧模的锥形内表面相匹配;所述收紧模沿直线运动。这种技术方案是优选的,因为收紧模可被简单、精确地控制。因而,不仅收紧模本身的结构简单、制造成本低,而且其传动装置也很简单且成本低。这种收紧模很容易被驱动,例如通过齿轮/齿条、蜗轮/蜗杆等变换装置由电机等来驱动该收紧模。
其它的使成型模与收紧模形状配合的解决方案也是可行的,例如带有螺纹的配合结构或者是带沟槽、滑道的配合结构等等。
成型模优选包括四个分模。当然,成型模也可以包括两个、六个或更多个分模。更多的分模数量使得蜂窝体的受力更加均匀,但是会提高结构的复杂性。
优选地,所述多个分模能完全合拢以形成一圆柱形的、周向封闭的内腔。该方案的优点是,能够在不使用控制装置的情况下,仅通过分模的几何结构精确地确定所卷制的蜂窝结构的最终尺寸。
根据一种优选实施方式,根据本发明的设备还包括一推头,所述推头能沿轴向运动以将卷制成的蜂窝结构推到外壳中。由此,可实现高度自动化的系统。
同样为了提高设备的自动化程度,可以设有自动进料装置,该自动进料装置用于将待卷制的波带、平带组合件送入打开的成型模中。
一种用于卷制蜂窝体的方法,其中使用上述的设备,该方法包括以下步骤:
将成型模打开;
经由成型模的开口将波带、平带组合件送入两卷针之间;
使卷针旋转直到将波带、平带组合件卷入成型模内;
使卷针继续旋转,同时收紧模动作以使成型模的内腔缩小,直至缩小到第一尺寸;
拔出卷针;
利用推头将卷制成的蜂窝结构推入一外壳中。
该方法实现了蜂窝体的精确的自动卷制。其中,由于在精确控制的情况下边卷制、边收紧蜂窝结构,使制成的蜂窝体具有良好的性能和较长的使用寿命。
优选地,在所述拔出卷针的步骤之后并且在推头将卷制成的蜂窝结构推入外壳中的步骤之前,收紧模继续动作并使成型模的内腔缩小到第二尺寸。

具体实施方式
图1示出根据本发明的用于卷制蜂窝体的设备。该设备包括机架、传动系统以及用于卷制成型蜂窝体的成型模1和收紧模6。
图2和3示出根据本发明的用于卷制蜂窝体的设备的局部。成型模1包括四个彼此独立的分模(见图3),这四个分模能被张开和合拢。例如,如四爪卡盘的四个爪那样将这四个分模支承在机架上。优选各分模分别能在自己的滑道中沿径向滑动。通过弹性件将它们偏压向打开的方向。当然,按其它已知的方式来布置各分模也是可行的。
由图3可见,在成型模1的张开状态中,四个分模之间存在间隙A,通过该间隙能将待卷制的波带、平带组合件3送入成型模1中。所述波带、平带组合件3由多个波纹状的金属箔与平的金属箔堆叠而成。
在本实施例中,成型模1的各分模被保持在一收紧模6中,成型模1具有锥形的外表面,该锥形的外表面与一收紧模6的锥形内表面相匹配,使得当该收紧模6轴向移动(由箭头D表示)时,成型模1连续地向内收紧,从而使得保持在其内的蜂窝结构被连续地收紧,如图4和图5所示。在一种实施方式中,这四个分模可以完全合拢以形成一圆柱形内腔。

卷针2的一端支承在卷针传动轴7中。该卷针传动轴7能绕其纵向轴线旋转,当卷针传动轴7旋转时,卷针被驱动而绕一与两卷针2平行的轴线X旋转。该轴线X距两卷针2的距离相同并且位于成型模1的中心。卷针2的旋转将位于内腔中的波带、平带组合件3卷成S形的蜂窝结构。该卷针传动轴7能沿轴向运动到第一位置和第二位置。在该第一位置中,使卷针2伸入成型模1的内腔中,而在第二位置中,使卷针2移出所述成型模内腔。
所述设备10还包括一推头5,该推头被套在卷针传动轴7上并且能在该卷针传动轴上滑动以便将完成卷制的蜂窝结构推入一外壳8中,从而形成蜂窝体。在图5中已卷成蜂窝结构形状的波带、平带组合件3的中央部分被推头5挡住。

下面对上述设备的工作原理,即卷制方法进行说明:
首先,准备平带、波带组合件3。一般是将一定数量的平带和波带叠置成平带、波带组合件3。在设备中放入蜂窝体的外壳8。对于金属蜂窝体,该外壳一般是一钢管。
在步骤S01中,使成型模1处于打开状态。
在步骤S02中,经由成型模1的开口将波带、平带组合件3送入两卷针2之间,见图2和图3。
在步骤S03中,起动驱动装置,使卷针传动轴7转动。卷针传动轴7带动卷针2旋转,从而将波带、平带组合件3卷入成型模1内。
在波带、平带组合件3完全被卷入成型模1内之后,在一步骤S04中,在使卷针2继续旋转的同时,收紧模6动作,以使成型模1的内腔缩小,直至缩小到第一尺寸。在该实施例中,收紧模6的收紧动作是沿收紧方向D沿直线移动。由于收紧模6的内锥面与成型模1的外锥面的配合,收紧模的移动引起成模模1的各分模沿径向向内移动,从而将波带、平带形成的蜂窝结构沿径向向内收紧,见图4和图5。
当成型模1的内腔缩小到第一尺寸后,在一步骤S05中,拔出卷针2,并且使成型模继续动作以使成型模1的内腔缩小到第二尺寸。

对于各金属箔之间的连接以及各金属箔与外壳之间的连接,可采用任何现有技术中已知的方法。例如,在卷制之前在薄板的相应位置处施加粘接材料;在完成卷制之后通过加热使所述粘接材料形成粘接。对此不再详细说明。

Claims (9)

1.一种用于卷制蜂窝体的设备,包括:
成型模(1),该成型模包括多个分模,所述多个分模以能张开并且能合拢的方式支承;
收紧模(6),所述收紧模用于使所述成型模(1)的各分模合拢;
卷针(2),所述卷针能伸入所述成型模(1)的内腔中并且能从所述内腔中拔出,所述卷针能围绕一轴线转动;
其特征在于,
所述收紧模(6)与所述成型模的形状相匹配,使得所述收紧模的运动引起所述成型模(1)向内收紧。
2.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述成型模(1)具有锥形的外表面,该锥形的外表面与所述收紧模(2)的锥形内表面相匹配;所述收紧模(2)沿直线运动。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的设备,其特征在于,所述成型模包括四个分模。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的设备,其特征在于,所述多个分模能完全合拢以形成一圆柱形的、周向封闭的内腔。
5.根据权利要求1或2所述的设备,其特征在于,还包括一推头(5),所述推头(5)能沿轴向运动以将卷制成的蜂窝结构推到一外壳(8)中。
6.根据权利要求5所述的设备,其特征在于,还包括卷针传动轴(4),在该卷针传动轴(4)上支承所述卷针(2)的一端部,所述推头(5)套置在所述卷针传动轴(4)上并能在卷针传动轴(4)上滑动。
7.根据权利要求1或2所述的设备,其特征在于,设有自动进料装置,该自动进料装置能将待卷制的波带、平带组合件(3)送入打开的成型模中。
8.一种用于卷制蜂窝体的方法,其中使用根据上述权利要求中任一项所述的设备,该方法包括以下步骤:
将成型模打开(S01);
经由成型模的开口将波带、平带组合件送入两卷针之间(S02);
使卷针旋转直到将波带、平带组合件卷入成型模内(S03);
使卷针继续旋转,同时收紧模动作以使成型模的内腔缩小,直至缩小到第一尺寸(S04);
拔出卷针(S05);
利用推头将卷制成的蜂窝结构推入一外壳中(S07)。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中,在所述拔出卷针的步骤之后并且在推头将卷制成的蜂窝结构推入外壳中的步骤之前,收紧模继续动作并使成型模的内腔缩小到第二尺寸(S06)。
